I had planned on drawing everyone for this (I made a LIST!) but it. hasn't been going well. 💀 soooo here's what I have so far!

Riddle - Roserade (I was going with 'no legendaries', otherwise I would've given him a Shaymin) (and I don't think Togedemaru is actually a hedgehog or I would've given him one of those too) (...they kind of do fit though. hmm.)

Trey - Alcremie (clover/mint cream + strawberry/ruby cream)

Cater - DITTO SQUAD! DITTO SQUAD! DITTO SQUAD!

Ace - Impidimp (I feel like there's probably a better one for him, but I can't think of it)

Deuce - Scraggy (meanwhile I KNOW deep in my heart that this is true)

Leona - Pyroar (but like. a nasty Pyroar. just a grizzly old Pyroar with the shittiest attitude imaginable. they pretend to hate each other but secretly they are a bonded pair, do not separate)

i adore ur engie having a chord tail so re: requests how does spy feel about/interact with it

he'd mostly think it's endearing, part of Dell's silly charm. sort of like when you see a puppy

sometimes Dell uses it to get Spy' attention, or to make sure he's still with him and Spy sometimes uses it to make sure Dell doesn't impulse buy a set of power drills or a tablesaw

though, no matter how much spy thinks the tail is cute, he knows it was designed out a desperation.

things rarely go without complications when dealing with amputation and prostetics - things like phantom pain or conectivity issues and basically an every day issue Dell will be forever insecure about the fact he can't just engineer it all away, he definitely regrets cutting half his arm off.

so he designed the tail as a way to counter his weakness. but what if Dell doesn't just stop at the tail? what if he tries to mess with his anatomy further? what if he ends up doing something that irreversably destroys his body? sure he's an engineer, but not a medical proffesional.

what if the pain becomes unbearable for Dell though? what if further modifications are necessary for him to live in peace? will Dell know when to stop? Will Spy know when to draw the line? when to put his foot down?

what if Dell loses himself to the idea that he can elliminate all that is wrong with him with mods like this? what if this is just the beginning?

Thought about the opening chapters of Wild Space again and how Bail is just sitting there in his office with a glass of brandy at like. 5 am. and I'm not sure he even slept at all.

And then started thinking about how he would definitely always be telling Fox to please get more rest, dear Commander and you need to take a break and I hope you've gotten something to eat, I don't like it when you have to run along the streets of Coruscant with so little energy. He said all of these in messages in one single night and so much more and Fox had been flustered the entire night because 1) that's so sweet he can't handle it and 2) here he is, not getting more rest and not taking a break and he has definitely not eaten properly the whole day because he has been busy and it's already the next morning and he is still finishing up his duties in the Senate and-

-and Bail steps out of his own office wearing the exact same clothes Fox had seen him wear the night before and looking just as tired as Fox knows he looks.

And now they are just standing there. Staring at each other. And based on the way Bail looks like a tooka in speeder headlights, Fox knows that he knows that Fox is looking extremely unimpressed underneath his helmet.
