Okay so I haven’t seen PDH or MyStreet (I’m currently watching MCD Origins even tho I’m not even sure if it has any impact on the actual story of MCD) so what I’m about to say may be something that happens/is explained in the series but anyways-

So I know that KC’s real name is not Kawaii~Chan and Is instead Nana, I know this because I’ve watched the Everything Wrong With MyStreet series many times; from what I understand Zane is the first person she trusts enough to know her actual name, no other character is aware of this (up until season 5, I’m assuming that in season 6 she tells them as well) and this is all fine and dandy but like

It actually makes a lot of sense that Bruce was one of the few people left standing in the crowd at Haly’s Circus when Dick’s parents died.

Watching two innocent people plummet to their deaths is gruesome. It’s shocking. It can be horribly traumatic, depending on the blunt force trauma of hitting the ground. They might not have died right away. They might have bled and made awful noises that were heard even above the sounds of the crowd.

But Bruce is Batman. Bruce saw his parents get murdered right in front of him. And he knows the sounds and sights of someone dying. He’s hardened himself to stay calm in a situation like that, both through trauma and practice.

I think the image of a young Dick Grayson making eye contact with the one unshaken person in the crowd is chilling. A man standing resolute when everyone else is screaming, sadness etched across his face. But not panic. Not confusion. Resignation, maybe.

Is the real world worth it?

When you've been alone for so long that making connections with other people feels wrong and uncomfortable. Like an itchy too tight shirt.

You've created this little world inside your room with everything you need to simulate human interaction that real people feel fake now.

Pillows for late night cuddles with that special person, heated blankets for body warmth, different colognes and perfumes on shirts bigger than you that make you feel like you belong to someone.

Stories and games that you immerse yourself in and getting closer the characters that you feel you would never have with real people. It's terrifying. Thinking your little bubble has everything you need that when you do try to reach out, to pop that bubble, you be disappointed in the real world.

It's terrifying, the real world, but is worth it when I have all I ever need right here. When I've built my whole life expecting to be alone forever to cope with the fact that no one wants me, because I've never tried.

seriously have been thinking about this all night long. call me autistic but the fact that 90% of workplaces the point is not to get your work done and then be done doing it but to instead perform an elaborate social dance in which you find something to do even when you're done doing everything you need to do in order to show your fellow workers that you, too, are Working . because you are at Work . disgusting why cant we all agree that if there is no work immediately to be done. we just dont do anything

the thing about latinoamérica is that it's the most beautiful wonderful place on earth. there's a spinal cord of mountains running through, and at their feet you have everything from deserts to forests to jungles to glaciers. the lungs of the world are here, and so are the eyes into the sky. there are animals like axolotls and vicuñas and llamas and condors and jaguars. and the people are the most clever, the most resilient people in the world. you have cultures that are thousands of years old that have been resisting colonization for hundreds of years and in several cases successfully fighting back and even gaining territory. you have people who have lost their loved ones decades and decades ago who are still fighting for justice. you have a rich history of solidarity and struggle and you can sit with people in a circle passing a mate around and they will tell you of all the times they put everything on the line for a better world. there is an entire island that inspired revolutions around the world and that has been resisting a blockade for 60 years. there are communities building autonomous, revolutionary structures right now. and really it's not a surprise that there's so much grit and strength here because it would be inconceivable to be born and to live in this beautiful place without fighting for it.

Bruce is Clark’s “my senses/powers are going insane right now, please cover for me” person and no one in the Justice League has ever fully caught on because Bruce (as Batman) will just suddenly start picking a fight with Hal Jordan (who is always down to argue) and distract the entire League long enough for Clark to either leave or get a handle on whatever is bugging him.
