Chilchuck Tims has 4 daughters

Izutsumi’s relationship with the whole party is very fun and heartwarming, and her relationship with each party member has something unique and special, but besides Senshi being the mama hen I really love how Chilchuck looks after Izutsumi in a father-ish way. He’s the only one in the party that sees her like an actual human girl lol. He treats her with respect while not letting himself be walked over, and I think there’s something to be said about it, esp since Chilchuck knows how it’s like to be infantilized and pet like a cute thing much like our favorite catgirl. He does handle her like a guy who has 3 adult daughters, parenting instincts kicking in

Listen I knooow the party is breaking up with the end approaching but I’ve been thinking a lot about if Izutsumi decided to stick with anyone and I think it’d be really nice if she stayed with Chilchuck. I love Chilchuck’s store so much, I have so many headcanons and fic plans involving it, but listen.  I feel like Chilchuck would be a good person to look after her, she’s still a teen and shown not to be mature enough to know what to do with herself and feed herself right yet, she could become Chilchuck’s store mascot like a cat that’s always lounging inside hehe.  He gains another sort-of-daughter and she keeps her favorite pillow, a loss-loss deal on his end but Chilchuck is too responsible to not take her in if needed mwahahaha Izutsumi would have no remorse, he’s ready to suffer for her comfort

Ryder lost a bet against Vanessa. He was sure he wouldn't lose and now he's got to wear a color he would never wear.

Vanessa came over with the vest and the pants and bracelets (they are neighbors). She's got the vest from a second hand store, the pants are her own. Ryder borrowed the white harness and the boots from Thyjs (yes you read right Thyjs has a bit of pink stuff as well but unlike Ry here he likes it in combination with other colors). Thyjs took these shots btw.

when I mean quit traumatising me with thoughts about a volleyball manga, I meant it. What am I supposed to do with the knowledge that Hinata knew his weakness from the start and seeking individual growth (greed being a positive thing) doesn’t make him any less of a team player? Im glad that I make you love hq more because honestly, there's few things better than being able to share your love of something with someone else and when you can bond with other people over that shared interest. It's sooo delightful. And like personally, interacting and having conversations and talking at people makes me like it and think about it more. It's also the way that i flesh out my thoughts. Yall won't believe this! So I was watching the latest episode of Hirakawanchi and Hirarin said he had some exciting news. Every year or so he has a live event called ただいま！ひらかわんち and the next event, volume 6, will be held on 11/18!! Of course everyone watching was super excited!

Then he reveals, there's gonna be a guest, which is rare since he rarely has guests on the show (I can only remember him having Shimono Hiro and Miyake Kenta as guests so far). I paused the video and said out loud "He needs to stop playing and just have NamiDai as a guest!" Imagine my shock when I resumed the video, only to hear him say "and the guest will be Namikawa Daisuke!!"

I slapped the space bar so hard I almost broke my very nice keyboard!! It was half anger and half elation! They are my favorite seiyuu so I love hearing them in different drama cds and anime together so of course I was happy. I’ve been a fan of both of them since their Love Revo days (nearly 20 yrs ago)! Then I realized this event has never been live streamed so all we'll likely see are a few photos after the event is over.

Why must he keep doing stuff like this?!?! Just charge for tickets to the nico live and let me have my fun!!!! Anyway, I'm really happy about the event and reeeaaalllly want to go but we know that ain't happening lol.

I already like how his character is handled but I think it would be even stronger if he or someone else dropped a few more details about life in Belurat before the crusade. he enacts his revenge not just in the name of his murdered family but his entire culture, and it would be nice to learn a few more hornsent cultural details through him!

I love the scorpion stew interaction so much! “things once broken can never be the same” hits so hard after exploring Belurat and seeing the city’s destruction, and pairing this dialogue with the scorpion stew description is even more tragic: “Traditional meal of the hornsent. Once made with love by a certain elderly woman for the family table.”

I don’t think he was a greater potentate! I think it’s strongly implied that he lived in Belurat before the crusade, not Bonny Village. I think he sought out the potentates’ caterpillar mask because it’s used to enhance focus and banish feelings of doubt in one’s purpose, which makes perfect sense for his revenge quest

Stiles Summer Stories 2024

Things had been kind of messy when Scott became a True Alpha and Derek gave up his Alpha status to save his sister's life. For a while, Peter, Derek, Cora and Isaac stayed as part of the McCall Pack. Until the Hales left. And Stiles tried not to take it personal, because it wasn't, of course it wasn't, and he wasn't even part of the Hale Pack – not that there was a Hale Pack anymore – and he even understood why they left, because there was no Hale Pack anymore. They'd already lost so much in this damn town, so of course would they leave. But it devastated Stiles.

They stayed in contact, though. Stiles and Derek, because over multiple times of mutually saving each other's lives, they had become friends. Stiles and Peter too though, because they'd been working together to create one coherent digital bestiary, out of the Hale bestiary and the stolen Argent bestiary and any book that either of them could find online. At first, it was all just professional, all about the bestiary. Then they started talking more.

It was the Nogitsune that really brought them closer. Though not possessed, Peter could relate to being a prisoner in your own body and to slowly losing your mind. It was also just easier, for Stiles, to talk through texts than in person. Not having to look at the other, not having to speak. Especially in the early weeks, months, after the possession, that helped him a lot.

Stiles knew that Jackson got his number from Peter, because not long after Peter got Stiles to talk – by offering his own trauma first, talking about the coma and his own experiences to get Stiles to talk – Jackson texted him. Stiles and Jackson bonded over the Nogitsune and the kanima.

That was how Stiles had learned that the Hales had ended up moving to London. Jackson was there, Derek's first beta, one of the scattered members of the Hale Pack. Stiles wasn't surprised when, a few months later, Peter casually mentioned being an Alpha again. That was always going to happen, Stiles had known it from the moment Peter had been resurrected, but it became an inevitability after Derek lost his Alpha spark, because Peter was not going to let the Hale Pack die. So he had hunted and killed a rogue Alpha and started rebuilding the Hale Pack, in London.

Boyd and Erica found their way to London, after Stiles texted them about this development. After running away from Beacon Hills, they had bounced from pack to pack. Never truly finding a home. Stiles hadn't found it in himself to make them stay, after everything, but he had insisted on staying in contact, so he would know they were safe. Safe but not happy. So when there was a small Hale Pack in another country, Stiles told them to go, to give it another chance, with a different Alpha.

After graduation, Stiles packed his bags and didn't even have to think about it. He needed to get out of this town. He loved Scott, dearly, he had many friends in the McCall Pack, it had been his family for so long now, but… he couldn't stay. The town that had killed his mom had also nearly killed him, he'd killed one of his best friends here, and so many others. Scott was sad, but he understood.

Stiles left, and he never even considered any other option than London. It had never been a question for him but maybe he should have considered telling the pack first. He'd knocked and got greeted by absolute bafflement. And then by hugs and fierce declaration that he had to stay.

That had been exactly a year ago now. Stiles settled in, found his place among the pack, fell back into friendships that had only existed on his phone for far too long now. The Hale Mansion was stunning, large and… home. His favorite room was the library though. All the books from the Hale vault, all the books both Peter and Stiles had bought over the past years, in their research. Stiles had been delighted when he first walked in there and he could be found in it about every day.

Especially at first, when he was settling in and was… kind of overwhelmed. There were still a lot of things he was struggling with after the possession, which only made it worse, because then he got frustrated with himself for still not being over it, so he retreated even further into himself. His pack was patient with him though, they understood and gave him time.

Sighing, Stiles turned his head to look out of the library's window. The pack was outside, training. Sparring with each other. Derek and Peter were instructing them. A soft smile spread over his lips as Stiles watched his Alpha. Damn, Peter had come a long way since the feral Alpha who had first turned Scott. Coming back to life had helped him, but becoming an Alpha again, without killing a family member, to bring back his family's legacy this time, to form his own pack, it had helped him so much. He'd become a great Alpha and Stiles was proud to be in his pack.

Stiles couldn't help but laugh when the wolves started chasing birds. Sometimes, when they were connecting a little too much with their wolf side, they acted more animalistic. Like chasing birds.

"Stop that, you unhinged puppies!" Stiles called out of the window. "Behave yourselves!"

"Let the pups have fun, darling," Peter called back, looking up at Stiles with a smile.

Stiles froze, surprised, as a thought crossed his mind. He's beautiful. Not just physically, of course was Peter Hale gorgeous. But seeing him with the pups, seeing him be a good Alpha, seeing him be snarky and teasing, Stiles found it all beautiful, loved it all. Loved… Peter.

It had all developed so naturally, they'd grown closer, Stiles found his place. And more often than not, that place was next to Peter. He hadn't noticed before, because it happened so gradually. But that moment, as random as it seemed, with Peter standing among his pack, smiling so softly up at Stiles, it felt like something was slipping into place.

"Oh," Stiles whispered to himself in awe. "I'm in love with you."

Peter, who'd slowly turned back to the betas to make them stop chasing birds, froze. His head snapped back to Stiles, eyes flashing red. Stiles' heart jumped into his throat and he flushed. But no. No, he didn't want to take it back. He was better, he had gotten so much better, he hadn't felt like he deserved to be happy, after the possession. Now, he was happy, finally. Here, with them. With Peter.

"I love you," Stiles repeated, louder, laughter bubbling in his chest.

It took Peter all but ten seconds to move from the garden upstairs to the library, standing in front of Stiles a little wide-eyed. Still red. There were some fangs too. Stiles smiled at him and reached out, resting a hand on Peter's cheek. There was no doubt, no worry that Peter wouldn't return his feelings, because at the same moment he noticed that he loved Peter, he also realized that Peter loved him. Had loved him for a long time, had shown it in so many different ways.

His support, his help to get through the possession, his patience, kindness and care, when it came to Stiles. There were so many lingering touches, more than just normal scent-marking among pack. A possessiveness. A protectiveness. Stiles smiled warmly at Peter.

"I'm glad you're ready," Peter whispered, resting his hands on Stiles' hips.

"I'm glad you waited for me to be ready. Thank you. Sorry to keep you waiting."

"You're worth waiting for, darling," Peter assured him as they both leaned in slowly.

Stiles' eyes fluttered shut as he pressed a soft kiss against Peter's lips.

Absolutely no offense to anyone shipping them, of course. Do your thing! I'm just sad it's so hard to find literally any content at all about those two that isn't romantic. I really do love the connection they have, they're one of my biggest BrOTPS, and as an aro-spec I'm especially sad when I see people say something along the lines of, oh, they're ~*obviously*~ in love, friends don't talk about each other that way! (Or the even worse version: "friends don't care about each other that deeply")

Like. Uh. *I* talk about my friends that way. Always have. In fact I think that's pretty normal when you like another person a lot and are grateful for their impact on your life. I have many "dear and indispensable" friends who I would openly describe as such and who I would do and risk a lot for if they needed my help.

And I'm going to repeat this again, just because I know how easily this kind of thing is misunderstood online: my issue is 100% *not!!!* with the ship itself. If you want to read them as romantic, that's perfectly valid. I'm just annoyed at how almost completely inescapable it is in the AA fandom (especially because many people don't even bother to tag it? Probably assuming everyone ships them, is my guess) and by the sometimes just. plainly arophobic rhetoric accompanying it.

random headcanon: This headcanon is like, so deep into my personal GF characterization/ fuckin'. AU. If you wanna call it that atp. BUT ANYWAYS. Fuck this is gonna need quick background hold on. The canon explanation for her looking human iirc is literally just "true love" or whatever tf. But that's not as fun to play with. So instead I like to write her as being ashamed of being a demon, especially because of her parents' actions, so she masks her demon traits. And she reaaaalllly does not like letting them slip through, especially around a specific person (this is foreshadowing for something idek if I'll get to any time soon Sorry). BUT! She is on a limit for how long she can hide her demon traits until doing so starts to hurt her, either through draining her energy or like, it causing physical damage to continue hiding parts of her. And while she trusts Pico & BF, she's still got shit that she's just. Not. Sorting out. So when she feels she's about to reach a limit with it she locks herself away to rest until she's well enough to continue like normal. Girlie No (guy who is writing her to do this) (don't worry I'm going to also write her getting better abt this) I'm gonna eventually have to make a "Karl's Personal FNF Demon World Building" master-post or whatever just cuz this shit is so fun for me to work with Idk.

unpopular opinion: GEH once again idrk if this is an unpopular opinion but I've been using this to just. Complain. About stuff I have seen and disagree with so whatever I'm continuing the trend. Like Pico, I feel like I see. So many. Interpretations of her that just feel Wrong. Like I see people make her The Smart One or like. Dominant Girlboss with little substance beyond that. And it's like. Cool, yay, I love fandom misogyny. FUCK it's probably still rotting in my drafts but forever and always my reaction to this phenomenon with her is "This girl gets her hand stuck in peanut butter jars trying to eat pb with her hands. This is your Smart One?" and I should get it out of my drafts bc I'm real for that. DO NOT MISUNDERSTAND ME WHEN I SAY THIS BTW. Interpretations that smarten up BF to the same degree do not flag this to me. When making more serious fanworks with these guys, you're gonna have to give them more smarts than canon will. Favorite thing about them: She is the kindest character in the whole book, and this turns out to be her biggest strength. She may be so shy to the point that talking to people outside her family is extremely difficult, but she doesn't let that stop her from helping those who need it, whether it's helping the Hummels when the baby is sick with scarlet fever, or talking to Frank to try and cheer him up. And this has an enormous impact: everyone adores her, to the point that they all miss her when she first gets sick, and make sure to show her how much she means to them when she's on her deathbed. She may not have "achieved" anything like her sisters do, but she still matters, and that means so much to me.

Least favorite thing about them: When she tells Jo to take her place after she dies. Like... Beth, sweetheart, no. No one could ever replace you. And Jo doesn't need to be more like Beth to be worthy of love. The fact that Mr. Laurence says something similar after he returns from Europe with Amy and Laurie doesn't help, either.

Three things I have in common with them:

Random headcanon: She's either on the autism spectrum, has social anxiety, or both, and her angelic image is an attempt to not be a burden to her loved ones and to try and make up for the fact that she can't mask.

Unpopular opinion: If any of the March sisters are aromantic, it's Beth, not Jo. Beth never wants to get married or have children, and Jo does change her mind about that after a while, which I guess might rub some people the wrong way. This isn't to say that you can't have whatever headcanons you want, but this makes more sense to me. Also, I don't normally say stuff like this, but if you think that Beth "needs to die" just because she's not a normal girl, you're ableist, plain and simple.

Fandom creators tag game

1. What sort of content do you create, and what is the thing you’ve made that you’re most proud of? Mostly I write fanfiction. Sometimes I make little needle felted character dolls. Over all proudest is probably still The Hands I Used to Touch (Call the Midwife), but for my current fandom (Supergirl) it's Forgotten, Not Forgiven, as that is my latest big project and home to all the fluffy supercorp that I need in my life (okay not in the published chapters but IT WILL BE EVENTUALLY I PROMISE)

2. What fandom(s) do you create for? Right now just Supergirl, and I have only written three fics for that one so far (but hopefully more to come!) Before that it was Call the Midwife.

3. What is your current favourite ship (or brotp if you prefer), and how controversial is it? Supercorp, ie Kara/Lena for Supergirl (I know, I’m so quiet about it on this blog you would never have guessed). It occupies an interesting space of being simultaneously entirely non controversial in that it is by far the biggest ship I have ever engaged with, while also being extremely divisive, both within and beyond fandom spaces. But I arrived here LONG after most of that had happened, and am now just happily playing in the sandpit of creative space while the bones of drama stay *mostly* buried. Always a bit of a shock when one rises up to try and kick down your sandcastle though (yes, I am aware that that is a mildly horrifying visual)

4. For your answer to question 3, are they canon? They are not (TECHNICALLY), but there is enough raw material in canon to build The São João Baptista, and that is enough for me. That and the 21,302 (and counting) fics with their relationship tag on AO3.

5. What was your first fandom, and how old were you? The first I actually engaged with other fans over was Call The Midwife in my early 20s, and that was because I snapped after seeing one too many tv lesbians get hit by a car.

6. What is your most unhinged fandom creation to date? Unhinged is not really my brand so I don't really have anything good for this one. Is Kara gets accidentally miniaturized unhinged? Or a bait and switch Lena "villain" arc? I think probably not really to either, but that's the closest I've got for this fandom so far...

7. Do you remember what started you off creating fandom content, and if so, what was it? The aforementioned incident between Delia and a car, which left her with amnesia and taken away to Wales mere moments after she and Patsy had moved in together. But I’m over it. Honest.

8. Do you let people you know in real life see your fandom creations? Not usually, I get shy about it. The exceptions are my wife (but we met via fandom so that one maybe doesn’t count) and on occasion my best friend, who talked me round by being an enthusiastic sweetheart.

9. How do you feel about fanworks of fanworks? Has anyone ever made something based on a thing you made? A few people have made fan art for my fics and it felt like the absolute highest compliment that could be paid to my writing. It was amazing to know that something I wrote meant enough to people to inspire them to go and create their own thing from it, and I loved getting to see other people’s takes on the version of the characters/story I had created. I think it's one of the best things about fandom communities! But I do understand why other people might feel differently about something they have poured so much of themselves into making, so I guess the main thing is trying to be respectful with it, crediting the source, and accepting people's boundaries. Basically I think we should all just be kind to each other and have fun.

10. What feeling do you most often try to evoke with your creations? I'm generally seeking my own catharsis through writing fix-it fic for painful things that happened in canon, so I guess a certain amount of pain followed by the eventual fluffy feel good satisfaction of resolution, but honestly I consider it a win if I can evoke a whole spectrum of emotions along the way.

11. Has someone ever paid your work a compliment (in any form) that has stuck with you, and what was it? Someone once liked my fic so much that she married me about it, so it’s hard to beat that haha. But on a more usual level, people making fanart for my fic was a HUGE one. And also just when people have left particularly in depth comments, commented on every chapter, told me they're rereading or that a fic of mine was their favourite etc... Basically just knowing that something I made has really meant something to someone gives me all of the warm fuzzy feelings, and I am very grateful to each and every person who has taken the time to tell me so!

12. What’s your favourite thing someone else has made that you’ve seen in the last 24 hours (and link it if you can find it again!) Originally I had the bouquet toss ficlet by @fazedlight here, because it just captures the characters so beautifully, but then I left this sitting in my drafts and it is now more than 24 hours ago that I saw it, so I'll add this adorable art by @awaitingrain, because LOOK AT IT! They are so cute??! Also I relate to gentle nomming as a display of affection XD

13. Give a small sneak preview of something you’re working on right now (eg a couple of sentences of fic from a WIP, a gif set theme, a small piece of a larger picture, whatever you feel happy to share) "Lena Luthor was dangling from the side of a cliff, nothing between her and the vast chasm of space below but the small jutting nodule she was clinging to to keep from falling.

14. Have you ever seen/read anything made by the person who tagged you? If so, what was it and what was your favourite thing about it? (pick a favourite if there are several) SO MANY!! it’s hard to pick a favourite of hers honestly because she is a RIDICULOUSLY good writer, but I’m going to go with The Next Best Thing by @cynicalrainbows. I don’t tend to read many kidfics but this one is the absolute best I have come across, she captures the child perspective fantastically well while also being incredibly engaging and entertaining to an adult reader. It is what successfully pulled me into reading Six fanfic despite (at that point) never having seen the musical. Even if you haven’t either, I wholeheartedly recommend checking it out. Or go and read her new Paperdolls fic and help grow that fandom, which I think currently has all of two people in it!

15. Do you leave comments on fandom works, and if so how would you describe your comment style? I do! I know how much I love it when people do it for me, so I try to leave comments on every chapter of the fics I read (or add tag notes for tumblr art/fic reblogs), and give specifics about what I like about it. Sometimes I just fully liveblog the fic reading experience, which is always fun. I also find it makes you engage and appreciate the work more because you’re taking your time to really think about it, AND it makes an author happy to receive (at least so I hope), which makes me happy.

16. How many works in progress do you currently have? Will you finish them all? Not counting a couple of dump documents of ideas and snippets, technically 3, I guess? One is Forgotten, Not Forgiven (Supergirl) which is my big one and will definitely be finished. The others are less certain – Storybooks and Siren Suits (Call The Midwife) is the one kidfic I have ever written, and is both my longest story at 151,020 (published) words, and also the one I am least likely to finish, because it has been stuck on the same chapter for around 3 years now. The other is Small Problem… (Supergirl) which could be counted as a finished oneshot, but I will probably end up adding further Adventures of Tiny Kara at some point.

17. what’s the longest it’s ever taken you to finish a fandom project?Well, see above re: 3 year stall on new updates. For actually fully finished and published stories I think it was around 6 months.

18. Describe the thing you made most recently in a way that is technically true, but also completely misleading. Link the thing if it’s published! Lena discovers Kara in Lex’s bed, then decides to lure her into friendship under false pretenses. Alex helps her do it. Forgotten, Not Forgiven.

Recommend a fan work from your fandom to your followers That’s tough because there are so many amazing ones, but I think I will go with I Guess I Live Here Now by @fabulousglitch, because it was both the first fic I really got into for supercorp and also contained everything I wish the characters could have had in canon. I know I am several years late to the party so if you are in the supercorp fandom you have probably already read it, but if you haven’t read it GO READ IT, IT’S SO GOOD!

why I like them: could have been SO GOOD in theory okay? I will never shut up about this because "character who everyone thinks is evil is actually just the victim of a smear campaign and some really bigoted propaganda" is SUCH a good character concept and I wish darkling fans were right about him because it would be so fucking cool and aesthetic

why I don't: he uh. he isn't that. he could have been so fucking iconic and instead he was just a vicious murderer. who grooms teenage girls.

favourite episode/scene: LOVE the bit where alina stabs his hand in s1e8. tbf that's more of a fav alina moment than anything else lmao, let me think... okay fr I love the "fine. make me your villain" scene bc it just really showcases who he is as a character and how he sees himself (hint: those two things are not the same)

favourite season/movie: imo he's better written in s1 of the show than in s2, idk though. and I do love his story in the kos duology lmao

favourite line: that one bit in rule of wolves where he says "everything I have done has been for ravka" because it's so clearly Not True and yet.... he clearly thinks it is.... so where does intent stop and impact begin...... it's deep okay

favourite outfit: purely for shits and giggles I'm going to say his black kefta in s2 where there's bits of gold bc I loveeee people being haunted by those they've wronged and I think alina haunting him really fits into that theme

otp: no thank you! in all honesty he prob could have been Fixed™ if he'd had a genuine relationship at an earlier age but he didn't so I refuse to inflict him on any other character. darkolai is interesting to consider though bc I feel like the ways they see themselves clash so heavily.... it's about self image and it's about villainy and law and justice and power and and and. they would Not be a good relationship but I think they should interact more for the Narrative

unpopular opinion: is it unpopular to say that despite his original good intentions he's a bit of a dickhead and not as smart as he thinks he is? in some corners of the fandom it totally is but idk

a wish: at this point there's not much more that could be done with his character beyond what's already been set up (him being mercy killed so he's not suffering in the thorn wood for all eternity) so I'm going to say that I hope his stans get better reading comprehension bc dear GOD some of the takes I see (posted in the alina tag btw I'm not deliberately seeking them out) are absolutely horrendous. is that too salty? perhaps. idc though it's my blog and darkling stans are free to block me if they don't like my takes
