Ik a lot of people used to think or did think that Soren bleaches his hair but I propose something even better.

Soren is both blonde and brunette, one more hear me out rq.

Hair color can change over time, especially from blonde to brown. And brown hair is considered more dominant.

Meaning Soren could've been born a blonde and his hair just darkened over time or he could've been born a brunette. Now before you say "if he was born a brunette how would soren be blonde in Virens flashback?", Viren was probably remembering Soren as how he always was since he was healed, plus Viren probably didn't give all the details but that's not important rn.

Back to Sorens hair. It doesn't matter what his hair looked like when he was born. So we know that Dark Magic can change the user's hair to white if they do certain spells that take a lot of energy, it might be the same for the person it's being used on. But instead of turning their hair white, it bleaches their hair.

So Soren would go from brunette to blonde but not completely. Yk the hair style of having blonde in the underside of dark hair but for Soren it'd be the opposite yk? Which would make him not completely blonde and not completely brunette anymore.
