Stumbled across this DTIYS and decided to give it a go, with some creative liberties obviously.

It was really fun, ive never drawn in the undertale battle style before so i was surprised at how easy it felt, granted it still took a little while but nowhere near as long as i expected.

Been thinking about how "Tragic guy who wanted to end all of it" became "Tragic guy who wanted to end all of it"

I really don't think enough people talk about how interesting it is that Geno and Error are the same person, but also I just don't think it could ever be talked about enough to me. They are the same person through and through, despite everything it's still you and all of that, but are also each others narrative foil. They both wanted to end it all, Geno willing to do anything possible and driven to the point of last resort in an attempt to end it all and kill Chara, but it was all in an attempt to save everything, to stop seeing his friends die over and over. Error was driven to madness through no fault of his own, and is willing to do anything to end everything, the entire universe, and he doesn't even know why.

Ontop of this [and is what inspired the drawing] is that error and geno seem to have, at core, very different reactions to a threat. I deleted like 200 words because I can't figure out how to word this correctly and extensively without repeating myself five times, so the short of it is that when Geno would try to de-escalate a situation, Error wouldn't even consider it as a possibility. Errors survival instinct is almost animalistic and his first priority in any situation is making sure he is safe [no doubt because he is hated by the entire multiverse and considered a threat to immediately attack] and Geno he died so many times he almost doesn't care, but he has a intrinsic fear of death that Error utterly lacks.

I don't interact with the Undertale fandom much if at all anymore so I've just been kind of stewing with my interpretations of these guys alone since 2018 so I have a lot of thoughts. I have thoughts on Ink and Nightmare [separately] too, but I really don't want to draw either of those guys so those rants will have to wait until I find an excuse. Anyway it's 3:30 am I'm going to go to bed
