Have a Luminous sneak-peek at the start of this lovely spooky season

The blood moon was high in the sky and, past the nausea and dizziness, Link heard Vah Naboris roar. Riju gave a sharp gasp and clutched his arm.

"Link, look!" she cried, pointing out into the desert.

Link forced himself to straighten up and what he saw made him freeze. Fi gave a low, distressed hum.

Vah Naboris had turned away from Kara Kara. She was heading, slowly and steadily towards Gerudo Town, surrounded by lightning rain and a fierce sandstorm.

The bedroom door burst open and frantic footsteps ran onto the balcony. Link and Riju turned to find Buliara and Bazz behind them, both of them looking frantic. The blood moon cast an eerie glow over everything; Buliara and Bazz looked gaunt as corpses.

"My lady," Buliara said, her concerned gaze on Riju.

Riju took a deep breath, gulped, and stood as tall as she could. Her eyes were wide with fear but, as the lightning rain grew in strength, she didn't flinch.

"It seems we cannot wait until morning anymore," Riju said quietly. "Let's go, Link."

i’m making this a drive-thru AU, because working for the ‘Siren’ for the past 3 1/2 years has taught me some things. i’m also combining all of these into one, because they’re short enough to fit in one post. so, let’s all pretend that Hyrule has a drive-thru restaurant (or a specific café chain) for like 10 minutes max.

When he returned to Zora's Domain after freeing Vah Ruta, the last thing he expexted was to get hit with another memory. Or at least what he thought was a memory, surely after a century there wasnt anyone left outside of the Shiekah and the Zora that knew Old Hylian Sign Langage. And yet there was someone with Hylian ears signing rapidly at Bazz.

Link caught only a few signs here and there, "Old Aqquantance" and "Left Out." So he couldn't quite discern the message, but Bazz seemed a mix of amused and annoyed. Neither one had seemed to notice him just yet.

"I don't know why Sidon didnt tell you the Champion has returned, short of not wanting you to walk off the edge of the Domain in your haste to get to him." There was a lilt of exasperated fondess to his scolding, "You can ask them when they return."

That seemed to be his cue to leave as he didnt want to ne spotted. Except he was waterlogged and exhausted and managed to trip over his feet and hit the luminous stone flooring with a wet and somewhat pathetic splash. In a split second both faces were trained on him, except the Hylian with white hair was missing his eyes. In the place where they should have been was long aged scar tissue. The familair netting of burns that laced Link's own torso. Guardian fire, but still, the face that remained was familair.

The scene around him changed.

It was the Domain still, but older. From his preteen years, before he drew the sword and was forced to rise to meet a fate much too large for him. Back when Hylian's and Sheikah alike had ambassator's to the Domain. Zuir's parents, a Hylian and Sheikah had been there on the latter race's behalf, and Link's parents were there on the Hylian's.

Ziur's light grey eyes had been alight at the time as he held an armored carp above his head. He'd managed to catch it bare handed and was showing his hard earned prize to Link and Mipha, over joyed. He swelled with pride at his catch, having nearly drowned, twice, in the persuit of the stulid fish. Just to prove he could.

Link came back to himself with a sad smile. Hylia only knew what had happened to him in their absence. He wasn't disabled persey but he had always needed a little more looking after than most kids their age. When Link and Mipha vanished, it must have fallen to Bazz and Rivain to care for him.

'You Left. Why?' Zuir signed at where he thought Link was, it was slightly to the right of him, but still clear enough to see, 'You Promised. Never Leave.'

Link shrugged and Bazz translated his response, "I died, it wasn't my fault."

The look that crossed what remained of Zuir's face was priceless.

The sunlight is creeping in through the corners of the curtain covering the window. You stir awake from your sleep, feeling Bazz's warm arm wrapped tightly around your waist.

You groan, slowly opening your eyes and turning over, facing your lover. The sunlight glistens along Bazz's face and his eyes squeeze shut harder.

You chuckle at his reaction to the sunlight and see his other arm resting in front of his face. You slowly reach out and grab onto his soft hand.

You feel every wrinkle and callus on his hand. You fiddle with his thick, long fingers, quietly humming to yourself. You press a soft kiss to his cheek and his body jolts.

Your giggle fills the room and Bazz lets out a heavy breathe, still trying to fight off the sunlight that's trying to wake him up. Your fingers are intertwining with his, squeezing his hand gently.

With your other hand, you comb your fingers through his soft hair.

Bazz grumbles and finally opens his eyes, meeting yours. He grimaces and groans with annoyance from being awaken.

"Good morning, grumpy," you speak gently and he inches more into you.

"Shhhh," he grumbles out and you chuckle. You squeeze each one of his fingers and he cocks an eyebrow.

"What are you doing?" he asks, finally more awake.

"Just messing around with your fingers, silly," you shrug your shoulders with a carefree tone.

"Mhm." His cheeks start to turn red and your eyes widen.

"Aw, baby, you're blushing," you gasp out, giggling and Bazz's heart drops into his gut.

"Shut up," he groans out, burying his face into the pillow. A smile grows on your face and you play around some more with his fingers.
