it's ironic that, for someone who is able to speak several languages, my ability to verbally communicate disappears really often

It’s January which means… Exams and end of semester assignments! This, in turn, means studying and studying means focussing. As an ADD girlie, focus and me are arch enemies.

One of my biggest distractions while studying is my phone and social media (yes, that includes this hellsite). I did, however, recently discover this app that helps me stay off my phone. It’s called “Focus Plant”. I don’t know how many people know of this thing’s existence but I only discovered it a week ago and it’s helped me a LOT!

Focus Plant lets you build tiny forests. To build those, you need water drops and to get those drops, you need to focus. You can put a focus timer on for up to three hours and during that time, you cannot leave the app without stopping the focus, which would make you lose the drops which would stop your forest from growing.

If you want to go really all-in, you can also put on the strict mode, this blocks access to all apps so even if you do leave the focus plant app, you can’t do anything else on your phone (there is an option to allow some apps to come through, so you can still listen to music if that helps you study).

Anyways, all of this to say, this helped me a lot to stay off my phone. Are there other things that still distract me? Sure, but at least this helped me remove one of the distracting factors.

I´m back (from my involuntary break)! Life has been fucking me up recently; a fresh weekend start was needed. That´s also why I don´t count the "missed" productivity days this time, as it was kind of an exception. But we are so back!

I also started to rearrange my notion, it is old and needs a refresh.

guys im lowk screwed. my parents are making me go to bed earlier even tho im honestly chilling :((( my essays for my app is collecting dust and no studying whatsoever is being done for my history and sci comps. my hair is going to be wet when i go to bed which is going to be so shitty for me when i wake up tomorrow because im going to look shitty. i need to get off the internet my attention span is god awful and im so brainrot i need to go on an internet free vacation for like 2 months. i still have not given my lizard his special treat bugs. so sad.
