KARASU TABITO. when you complimented him—

　TO say you're beautiful is an understatement, you're literally the most beautiful girl in the class and if not only in class then also in the entire school. Yet if you only have a pretty face to look at, Karasu would definitely call you mediocre with no hesitation.

But of course, you're more than that. You're kind to all your friends and classmates unless you dislike them, you have an extraordinary humor and you also own a mature side as a third-year when talking to an underclassman.

Karasu definitely likes you like everyone do after being charmed by your personality and looks. And he knows that you're in another league, so he doesn't even try to make a move. Even if you're good friends—good friends in, you're eating lunch with him and Otoya.

"Stop trying, you hoe." you furrowed your eyebrows as Otoya's hand crawled to yours, only to get slapped away by you. "You seriously should stop. You have a girlfriend and she's a cute one."

"Why have one chick when you can have two?" Otoya shrugged his shoulders—he stopped you from punching his face. "Hey, we said no punch to the face. I still need this artwork."

"Sometimes I have to urge to beat you up." you huffed, taking you hand back and going back to eat. "I'm going to cut off your weener one day. Watch your back, sleep with open eyes."

"After one night with you, sure." he ignored the expression plastered on your face that displayed plain disgust. "I know you like what you see, babygirl."

"Please— I'd rather pour acid into my eyes than see you." you slowly slid away from him, getting closer to your other forgotten friend.

"And I'd rather that too than seeing you beside that boomer." Otoya didn't hide his frustration as he watched you nearly sitting on Karasu's lap. "I'm going to stab my eyes."

"Can't blame me for being cooler than ya." Karasu shrugged his shoulders.

Otoya puffed the air out of his cheeks before standing up and walking away. "I can't see this anymore." he said—as if he got offended by you two. At the end, he'd come back because he wouldn't leave without finishing his food.

"Fetch me a drink too, peasant!" you said before sliding away from Karasu again. "Sorry for getting so close."

"It's fine."

Silence was taking over the table, making you sweatdrop—was it a good idea for Otoya to leave? As much as you love Karasu, he was being quieter than usual, only staring at your face as if you had something on it.

"Do I have something on my face?" you were a little worried, finished with your food.

"Nah, everything's good." he replied with a smirk, "Just like staring at yer pretty face."

"You have a crush, don't you?" you teased him back.

"What if I do?"

You did not expect that, sealing your lips again at that. Well, isn't that awkward? Your lips drew a fine line as you thought for a moment what you could say, your eyes wandering around his face—in particular his birthmark under his eye.

"It suits you..." you started slowly, "the mole under your eye. I think it compliments your face."

Now he was the one taken aback by your unexpected compliment, blinking serveral times and taking a while to progress what you just said. "Is there... something else ya like?" the heck, he acts as if he really had a crush on you?

"Erm... I like your hair without gel." you admitted. "It looks so good and i'm kinda sad that you always use gel. I also like your eyes, they're sharp. I secretly look at them when you're focused on something.... Oh you're also pretty attentive and remind me of things I don't even remember. And you also help me with chemistry, thanks!"

To say Karasu was surprised now is a big understatement—bigger than big, he even took a moment to think of an answer. "Sounds like yer the one with a crush." he chuckled, slightly amused as a grin was plastered on his lips.

"Probably." the smile you gifted him was probably heavensent.

"I'm coming back to this? Are you serious? You two are flirting infront of me." Otoya deadpanned and sat down, pushing Karasu to the side while giving you your drink.

"Thanks." why the heck was Karasu thanking him? "I think my legs were a bit jelly."

He could literally feel how his legs were getting weak at your words from before.

Seems like Karasu Tabito isn't that mediocre.

YUKIMIYA KENYU. he doesn't crush on you, he loves you—

　WELL, there are moments where he considers himself rotten on the inside, always thinking about himself and caring about lives of important or famous people while not taking any interest in the lives of others. It's his weakness. Probably the only weakness about him.

That was before you popped up in his life one day after he got into high school. To start off, you weren't someone special. The typical classmate whose reputation and grades are decent—you were a background character.

It was always that way and always stayed like this. Until you confessed your love for him under the cherry blossom tree of the school. Again, a typical scenario in mangas he read. But he rejected you, still being kind and gentle throughout the rejection.

And surprisingly, you accepted it with no complaints, giving him your prettiest smile even though you tried to ignore the burning pain in your eyes while he returned a smile—a smile that didn't reach his eyes though.

He was curious. Curious about your surprising demeanour. How could you smile so brightly after getting rejecting? He could see how red your face got because of the embarrassment. Yukimiya Kenyu was for the first time, curious about someone who crushed on him.

But yeah, of course you couldn't help it to smile despite the rejection. It was the first time you mustered up your courage to tell your crush what you felt about them and you couldn't be more glad that it was Yukimiya Kenyu you confessed to.

Because he wasn't awkward at all, handling the situation like a professional—as if he experienced this more than once in his life. Which you don't doubt since he wasn't only popular in your class, he was popular around the entire school.

You never thought you had a chance anyway so you didn't take it to heart. Only when he asked you if you wanted to be friends, that's when you took it to heart. Who the heck would be friends with someone they rejected?

This might not be a bad idea though. No wonder why he rejected you. You didn't know each other at all. If that was even possible, your smile widened, the shyness and blush faded ever so slightly as you nodded with a beaming aura.

And this time, the smile of his reached his eyes.

Fast forward, two years seemed to pass quickly with you two growing to be great friends. If not great friends, then even best friends! You never thought that you could be friends with someone who used to be your crush, but you're so glad.

After that day, he seemed friendlier than usual, always greeting you as soon as you or he stepped a foot into the classroom, even being the first person he greets instead of his buddies. Not even the slightest moment was awkward with him.

And when he told you, during a phone call, about the blue lock program he's been invited to, you couldn't have been happier for him! Immediately cheering for him and bouncing up and down on your bed to congratulate him.

"But that also means, we won't see each other for a while, because I'm in a football prison." he mentioned, his voice sounded sadder than before.

"Oh man, that's really sad. I'll miss you so so so much!" your face heated up at your own words, "but well... That's the price you have to pay for entering such awesome program!"

"An expensive one."

You think your ears were playing games with you to be honest.

　RING RING !

Yukimiya wiped the water off his mouth as he called you—after a few days. As soon as he found out that he can get his phone back in exchange for three goals, he couldn't help but go all in during the first match to give you a call, wanting to be in contact as quickly as possible.

"Uh Yukimiya-san, wanna train with us?" his team mates asked him.

Surprisingly, you still didn't answer though after the first two rings. "Maybe she's sleeping..." he muttered under his breath before looking up from his phone to answer his team mate, "Sure, why not?"

　RING !

"Nevermind." Yukimiya smiled without looking apologetic and turned his back to them, making them sweatdrop.

"Sorry! I fell asleep while taking care of some things..." you immediately apologized, sounding like you were sleeping just seconds ago.

"Ah, I should be the one to say sorry for waking you up. Didn't mean to wake you up..." he apologized too, worried about your health. "You shouldn't tire yourself out so much even if you're the student council president."

"I know, Kenyu..." you mumbled into the speaker, barely audible. "But it's my last year... I wanna give it my all."

That's what he likes about you. It's the same motto you follow.

You finally sat up from your seat, your back felt like shit after laying on the table for hours. "How's that uh program?" you questioned, wiping your drool away as you placed your phone to the side, now continuing with your duties.

"It's interesting to be honest. Don't tell anyone, but my team mates still aren't on my level..." he whispered playfully.

"Damn..." you chuckled and carefully cut the piece of paper into fine squares.

"Can you..." he paused slightly, "turn on the camera?"

Your motions came to a stop as he asked you, presumably wanting to see your face that resulted in you blinked multiple times. "Nah... I just dozed off and drooled. There's no way I'm showing you my face..."

It was an excuse. You didn't want him to see you heated up face and certainly not the glassy eyes—you feared that if he saw you like this, he would get the idea that you still liked him. A lot more than a friend should.

"Please." he said it in a way that made it impossible for you to say no. "I want to see your face."

"Erm, you saw me a few days ago..." you trailed off, cupping your face to cool down your cheeks with cold hands before doing what he wanted.

"Thanks."

"Of course..." you quickly returned to your task, trying to cover your face as much as possible with the paper. "A-Ah so..! There's a new song I like. It has this like catchy tune and it's stuck in my mind twenty-four seven. It's called..."

To be honest, Yukimiya intends to follow his motto to »give one's all in every moment« when it's about you. And he also is glad that your youth isn't an ephemeral thing, your smile isn't short-lived. It's good.

Yukimiya wants to see it everyday.

OTOYA EITA. when he noticed he's stuck to you—

　IT'S definitely been over three months since you've been dating. While he's been using you for fun and all, you're being genuine and sincere. That's what he thought. Somehow, he's still stuck in the relationship he himself suggested.

And well, time passed with you so quickly somehow, making him look at his phone. His lockscreen to be more precise. A silly picture you secretly took with his phone while he wasn't watching, a picture he grew to love.

His eyes quickly went over the numbers and words he added to the photo. Numbers that told him when you started dating, letters that reminded him how he always called you those cheesy nicknames. His eyes shifted over the current date, comparing those two dates slowly. And he noticed something.

Five months already passed.

That means one hundred fifty days already passed since he's been dating you, three months over the limit. Sixty days over the limit. He bets that he could've had two to three other girls already if you weren't there.

But somehow, he can't bring himself break up with you. Why are you two still together? He doesn't remember dating someone because he crushed on someone. He dated because it was fun and three months was the limit before breaking up.

Otoya does not want to get attached to someone that could drag him down. He doesn't chain himself up for someone else. That's why he decided on the three months rule—fearing that if he didn't break up, he would forever be stuck with one and the same person.

Something happend what he feared the most. Growing attached to someone that could possibly weight him down. Surprisingly he didn't even cheat on you yet. And the fact is, he doesn't even like you that way! He doesn't like like you, he likes you.

"Shit." he cursed, placing his phone next to his bed on the nightstand. "I can't even look at another girl."

That's right. He can't even glance into another direction. Whenever he's out with you, he can't help but stare at you and he doesn't let his eyes roam at another figure when a hot chick walks pass him—his eyes stay glued to your form.

"I sound like a damn simp." he used his hand to cover the upper part of his face, hiding his eyes from the light.

Maybe he is. Not only maybe, he is a simp when it was about you. And it doesn't help when Karasu once told him that he had damned heart eyes trailing after you. The hell? He never looks at you when you only pass by and he knows how bad he's at lying.

Otoya Eita is drained to be honest. He's drained because he doesn't know what happend to himself.

"—Earth to Eita?" your hand was almost touching his face as you moved it up and down swiftly to get his attention. "Hey, I asked for your opinion."

"Huh?" he mumbled, blinked as his eyes drifted to the two shirts you were holding.

One was in a sweet [f/c] and the other one was black—but the pattern was pretty cute too. "Both would look good one you." he answered the question truthfully.

He remembers all too vivid how he always lied about his opinion—every time his exes asked for his opinion about two things to choose from, he told them the exact reply they wanted to hear, pleasing them in that way.

It's different with you though. He isn't sure what you want to hear. He only knows what would've suited you better. "Yeah, both would look..." he paused for a moment, his eyes showing that he was in daze, "amazing on you..."

Careful. A word stuck on his mind, living rent-free. He always minds to keep a careful distance, because he knows you were serious about relationship and love all that. He tried to be careful but suddenly, he tripped and fell.

On the other hand—you know his history about relationship and exes. Yet here you are, holding up two shirts for your boyfriend so he can pick one with the happiest smile adorning your lips while in the back of your mind, you knew that rotten side of him.

"Why are you still with me?" he blurted out accidentally. He didn't mean to ask his question out loud.

"Ah..?" your hands lowered at that, your smile faded slightly.

"I'm an asshole." no doubt, he was an asshole. "I could probably cheat on you whenever I want. Tomorrow, next week, next month..."

"Well, are you?" now it's your time to ask even though you didn't answer yet.

"No." how could you believe him?

"Then it's fine. It's fine if this only lasts for today. Or tomorrow." you chuckled. "At the end, we're still together somehow."

"Right..." he blinked for a moment, his heart never pounded like crazy. He felt stupid for asking. He felt stupid for doubting. He felt stupid for breaking his own rule. But he didn't mind that much. After all, he broke it for you.

"Mama Otoya is waiting for us. Come on, hurry up!"

Right. Otoya will do his best so you can enjoy today and worry tomorrow.

Dogday!! Trying to figure out a way to send a Y/N in there to help him.

Rambles under the cut.

(I drew my sona in these cuz self-indulgent, but if I ever write anything it'll be a reader insert with little to no canon design.)

Design notes: Took some elements from his game model as well as his cartoon design. I think when we see him, he is emaciated and/or stretched out, the way CatNap is said to be able to stretch. Don't know if that's an ability all Smiling Critters have though. For now I'm saying it is SOMEWHAT but CatNap is the better at it by MILES. In any case, that's why he's not quite as lanky as he is in game, and is also a bit shorter.

I also he can be bipedal or quadrupedal, much like CatNap seems to be able to switch back and forth. A bit more animalistic than his cartoon counterpart, but part of that is just him not wanting to tower over the children and employees all the time, so drops down to all fours quite a bit.

The fur texture on his ears in the game cave him a floofy cocker spaniel look so I went with that instead of the less floofy ears he has in the cartoon and his original plushie.

The white pupils being absent when we see him I believe is a sign of how weak he is. When healthy, all the Bigger Bodies Smiling Critters have them, much like CatNap does.

Trying to actually keep his huge open-mouth smile at all times, unlike with my FNAF stuff where I give them more of an ability to emote. That said trying to get him to look angry or sad was a challenge. Sad I think worked okay but the one where I meant him to look angry he looks more cocky or smirky than mad. Tender moments are a bit harder too, as keeping that huge grin with more tender eyes results in him looking either drunk or horney or just like he's not taking the moment very seriously, haha.

And the story? Not sure yet, bouncing around a few ideas, though I don't think I'll have the reader and the player be the same person. Reader might be someone who came up in PlayCare alongside Dogday. Perhaps they knew each other as kids when Dogday was still human. Haven't decided how much of this Dogday remembers or at what point the reader realizes Dogday is their old friend who got "adopted".

Reader grows up the Playcare and is given a job once they're an adult. (Something something starting the brainwashing and normalization of bullshit early to make employees who are more willing to look the other way?)

Dogday somehow kept them hidden during the Hour of Joy and the reader's been living in the caves ever since. (The caves open up so much possibility for people being hidden in the factory. Much easier to say there's an unknown offshoot of a natural cave system than an unknown part of the factory.)

How are they staying fed? Uhhhh...cave mushrooms? Trips to the surface? Moss? Stale vending machine candy? I don't know yet.

Not sure how to pull a happy ending out of this horror but I'm trying. Maybe the reader convinces Dogday to leave after Ch 3 because he'd be too weak to help anyway or something? And uh...I'm just gonna pretend since he's kinda a plushie he can be sewn back together even though I'm PRETTY SURE canonically the inclusion of blood and guts makes that...not a thing.

Just remember guys...all winds blow away...eventually.

— you guys will have little reading dates and she loves when you give her books from your home because there so interesting and fascinating

— Franky thinks your SUPERRRR all the time you never understood his obsession with cola but when he had you drink some you were hooked

— he makes you gadgets all the time whether to improve your sword or shield he is always making stuff for you

— when brook saw you he wanted your panties but was kinda scared when you drew your sword at him then he remembered he was dead but it was still kind scary

— jimbei had definitely heard of amazons before but like robin had never seen one

— he’s like a really cool person to be around if you wanna learn about his people culture you would always go to his with no hesitation and he would gladly tell you

— the crew admires you a lot your like there personal bodyguard they love you

— the girls will always make sure that when you guys go shopping you all get matching stuff because why not

— i feel like luffy goes to you for everything he has a cut on his hand he’s going to you instead of chopper it just shows how much he trust you

— when you first join the crew and your kinda timid to the boys they understand because your people say that men are just nasty but they get kind sad because they wanna know you better but over time you learn to love them ask much as you do robin and nami

— tell them stories of your home they wanna hear about it all the time especially if simultaneously they all can’t sleep and want to hear your voice

— they know how stubborn you can be so when you go into battle and almost sacrifice yourself so they can live they can get pretty mad at you but they know it comes from a place of love and respect

— i know that amazon’s have super strength and so does the crew so when you guys them they get kinda scared because of your bone crushing hugs

— if you don’t understand why some people do certain things then they’ll explain it to you

— sanji love it when you tell him about food that you ate when you were a child he tried to recreate it with you helping him

— they know how passionate you can be one time you were telling them how much you love them and made them cry

— whenever zoro gets lost you always find him first or he finds you first becuase he can feel your passion 100 miles away

— luffy definitely flexes on law and kid that he has an amazing warrior on his crew and they don’t (they admire you just as much and are kind jealous)

— if someone were to ever catcall you or harass you before you can get a word at there all jumping the person making there life absolutely fucking miserable

— for your birthday they did the cutest thing they had the sunny decorated like your home island from what they could make out of the books and just made you fell right at home

— when they find out your a princess that doesn’t change a thing about they see you but they can tell that another place you get your passion from

— nami will probably ask you for some money and you give it to her becuase you love her so much and she never charges you because of it

angel and drew while on a ......."break"......

notes: ask and you shall receive! angel lowkey look like a bitch in this + this is kind of long for hcs, but i think u guys like the drama so i really wanted to try and cover most bases. if you want me to clarify or maybe even make a part 2 lmk ! <3

honestly, they’re on “breaks” quite frequently due to angel’s impulsive nature. in the spur of the moment when she’s upset she’ll tell drew “don’t contact me! don’t talk to me! i need time!” and storm off in the car he’s literally paying for. sometimes he’ll try to follow after her, but sometimes if it’s something stupid she’s upset about, he usually just gives her time because he knows she’ll come around.

but when it’s an actual break from one another (because of all the odessa drama), they’re both going through it. angel is sad but is also taking more time to focus on school because she thinks it’s all she really has aside from drew. she isolates herself from almost everyone, besides frat guys she invites over to hopefully fill some void? which void? she’s not sure. she never actually does anything with them, kind of just trying to prove to herself that she can have anyone she wants and she doesn’t need drew. but how is that benefitting literally anyone? again, she’s not sure.

drew doesn’t really isolate when you’re on a break because he does enough of that on normal days. drew tries to spend more time with his friends, specifically his guy friends. he’ll invite them over or go over to their houses. his friends will ask how you guys are doing and drew never ever wants to paint you as a bad person, even when you are on a break for a “pointless” reason, he’ll just lie and say “she’s going through some stuff right now so we’re just kinda taking a break right now, you know?” he’s the sweetest to you, even when you’re not exactly together :((

they both have nights where they really miss each other so they’ll just call each other and ask if they want to see each other, they never say no. it’s kind of an unspoken rule for the both of them; if one calls saying they want to see the other, you can’t say no (but it’s not like they want to say no anyways). it’s so silly because whenever they do this it’s kind of awkward. they’re making small talk because they’re both too stubborn to make it seem like they “care” again. but eventually they both give in and it usually ends in a heavy makeout sesh. “this doesn’t mean we’re back together you know?”

angel is so petty so sometimes she’ll post pictures of her out and about (partying) on her instagram stories and purposefully have guys in her pics because she knows drew will see it. when she realizes that drew seen it but didn’t say anything she’s throwing a fit. but in all honesty, drew doesn’t even care that much. he knows angel’s tactics and knows that she wouldn’t dare do anything.

there’s a lot of late night phone calls where they usually get pretty deep, asking each other if they should just break up for good/a longer period of time. angel is always like “i want this to work drew.” and drew is like “i’m giving you the space you want. what more do you need?” he’s too sweet. angel is so messy though because she knows she has no intentions to break up with drew ever, she just loves causing a scene.

i feel like the worse drew would do when they’re on a break is hang out with one of his girl friends one on one. and while no, there’s no romantic intentions, he still would never tell angel that. he’s just able to decipher platonic and romantic whereas angel’s insane ass is not ………. kind of.

angel is shitposting on every platform she has, especially her finsta and tiktok. sometimes when she’s feeling extra fiesty she’ll even remove drew as a follower just so she can make him “overthink”, but because he’s an old man, he literally do not gaf! half the time it’s just her ranting or talking about her day since she’s used to sharing everything about her day with drew :(

@devirnis / ao3: Ali only has one bucktommy fic up on ao3 but it is devine and I love it. Ali is also the only writer who has tempted me into reading buddie. This is not an indictment on buddie fandom or buddie fic writers in general, I just tend to be a one ship kinda gal and I don't really dive into fic for a ship I don't vibe with. Ali's writing has made me reconsider this position.

Also, as a general theme, nothing draws me in more than well thought out dialogue, and this one has some fucking GREAT dialogue.

An alternative meet-cute, where-in Tommy doesn’t know the 118 and decides Buck is worth it anyway. Buck is confused but figures some things out.

There is so much I love about this AU. How they meet. How their relationship progresses. How it feels glacially slow in comparison to the canon storyline but also how in character they both are. The foundation of their love in this fic is downright eatable.

I actually think it's kinda funny how Naruto's behavior toward Sarada in Gaiden points to how little she actually resembles Sasuke in any way besides her having the sharingan. The same way Sasuke is heavily involved in Boruto's life because he's Naruto's son, I believe Naruto would be, as well. Yet, Sarada didn't know her parents were on the same team with Naruto and calls him "Lord Seventh," implying there's little personal relationship between them. Sure, Naruto knows Sarada is an Uchiha, so Sasuke's kid, but his actions show that he doesn't actually see much connection between the two. Sarada doesn't even think similarly to Sasuke and is completely disconnected from their culture as Uchiha (which is itself sad. The first Uchiha hokage likely being the one who is the least connected to their history, memory, and culture is really bleak and cynical imo). MK just had to get his last laugh in with this pairing 😂

Hi, Gaiden confirms that Sakura did not tell Sarada anything about Sasuke's past with Naruto, she only told Sarada shallow things like Sasuke being the most handsome and every girl wanted him even Ino. She did not tell Sarada anything about them because firstly she does not know anything about Sasuke's feelings, what was his past and how much Naruto changed him but also she sees Naruto as a threat. If a 32 year old woman still feels insecure about Ino and Karin, I cannot even imagine what she thinks about Naruto. She knows that Sasuke will always choose him which means Naruto is more important in Sasuke's eyes than she can ever be. Look at her face when Naruto propose to Sasuke that he will go with him but Sasuke turned it down in a petty way which is very interesting to say the least. Sakura is nervous and starts to sweat. Kishi drew her there on purpose and this scene has a deeper meaning that is why Boruto anime changed it.

Also Sakura did not contact Naruto and Kakashi at all. Shizune confirms it when Sakura faints. Sakura did not have anyone to help her and also Shizune took care of the situation with her house. Sakura does not contact them because she got what she wanted. As I mentioned before, Naruto and Sakura's friendship was always fake. Sakura used Naruto to get Sasuke and Naruto used Sakura to hide his affection for a boy. There was also a competition between them for Sasuke's attention. Typical love triangle.

When it comes to Naruto, he just was not interested at all with Sakura and her child. Would you be if your whole relationship was fake? I don't think so. Naruto only become interested because Sarada's situation revolved around Sasuke. The same was with Sasuke, he only started to accept Sarada thanks to Naruto's involvement. Moreover, Sasuke is so interested in Boruto because he looks like Naruto and his behaviour is a mix of Naruto and Sasuke. Basically Sasuke sees Naruto in Boruto.

Hi. So, uh... it's been a while. And after all this time, I think it's time to be honest with myself and admit that this animatic is probably never going to be finished. I started it when I'd only watched a couple POVs of Third Life and it really shows in the designs. Some of them aren't bad - I still like how I drew Tango - but enough of them have details wrong or just weird vibes that continuing to draw them is kinda dissatisfying. That being said, I put a lot of work into it and didn't want to let it just die without saying anything, so here's a collection of GIFs from the few scenes I managed to get edited.

For the record, I am still on the Hermitcraft/Life Series brainrot train and I have some drawings that I've been working on that I genuinely like. So hopefully those will be done soon! Just as soon as I finish that one project that I started eight years ago. But it's getting there! I swear!

(i think, that one of those reasons why i always adored the scarecrow, even as a kid, not only bc of his horror aestetics, but also bc....fear is generally such a facinzting topic. such a vivid, mundane, yet awfully powerful thing. an' jonathan seems to view himself as both the master n' the slave of said emotion. or more so, he claims that he used to be overpowered by it as jonathan crane, but the scarecrow is the one, who holds it within his palm. an' i mean, both of those things are true an' co-exist. but in this instance, i only took the set-ups, where he's a scared, panicked lil animal. just how i like him, aside from him being absolutely nuts and' vicious as hell. bc i very much love those set-ups too!

but ahh, both drawings weren't planned. like not in a way, they are now at least. i was doodling idli an' sorta wanted to draw some sketchy spooked jon, then somehow other jons came into existence lol. so i just made a collage of them. drawing scarecrow an' scarebat stuff is cathartic for me. i just had to commit an' finish them. an' then make another art, just bc it felt right. or more like, i drew jonathan all distressed an' spooked, an' wanted to give him a comfort after being kinda mean to him. an' ah, yeah well….about that. i guess, one can say, that i kinda did it, but it still looks like a nightmare lmao. aka jon's main nightmare, where he associates batman with headless horseman. but it *batman* gives him a bit of comfort this time. it's kinda shippy, but also kinda not fully? as a shipper, i naturally see it as a nod to my otp, but honestly, this also can be just that. the bat being nice to jon, bc he's depressed an' intoxicated by fear an' mumbling things under his breath. at this point, it's my set-in-stone hc, that batman babysits him sometimes, when he's like this. so if i will draw it for like, third time at some point….then, i will draw it for third time, yea.

bc shippy or not, i just want bruce to pat poor sackhead on the shoulder, since he literally have no one to provide him any comfort / sympathy / pity, like ever. an' bruce can also finally see someone, whose life sucks way more than his own, so it's a win'win. not to mention, that batman's saviour complex prob always hella confused around jonathan. like, he's gotta smack him in the face, cuz' jon is evil, but he's also so sad an' kinda deplorable, that bruce wanna *or gonna* lecture his bullies for him lol.)

Aaaah I'm so happy, and I can't wait to see what happens next

I have four stupid exams on 8th and 10th and it just makes me want to watch One piece even more

But I gotta study😭😭

Also some more things I was thinking about :

Love how the Denjiro angle fit in, him being Kyoshiro plus the grief does affect a person's face, maybe this was a little extensive but it is true nevertheless. But absolutely loved how it worked out.

Also it's super funny how Denjiro thinks it's Kinnemon's plan when it's just Kinnemon being simply simple and dumb😂😂

Also also also the whole backstory was fun to watch, not the sad parts, they were super moving.

I loved the transition of when Oden was fighting Kaido and they showed us Sakura leaves, and then just for a slight moment they transitioned it into blood and back again, that was so wow. The bloodshed all around was represented by Sakura leaves.

Also when Kanjuro was leaving and Kinnemon was like, WHO DREW THAT, YOU COULD DRAW THAT WELL? That was kinda funny

Also also also, a part of me is still anxious because I don't know what's happening with Sabo, Istg if something happens to him. I'm just gonna cry for days and be super angry🫠 (what more can I do? But I swear I won't forgive that.)

Doesn't get much fresher than this, here's week 50 that I JUST completed!!

Updated it to add today and yesterday's dragon, so it bleeds a little into Week 51. However, the rest of week 51 and week 52 will be combined together in one final post :)

Daily Dragon #350 / #351 - Mega Charizard X & Mega Charizard Y

It's been irking me a little that the yearly Charizard kind of won't count for this challenge. But I figured I can still include my favorite Pokemon on a technicality!

I VERY rarely draw these mega evolutions. But they are both REALLY cool in my opinion. I like Y for being a little more simple and a little more fantasy looking, it has nice shapes. And I like X for being just so edgy and over the top and extra. Mega evolutions genuinely rule imo

Probably won't make it into the challenge but maybe next year I can draw Gigantimax Charizard and potentially even the Terestral Charizard. I've never drawn either of them... Cause they kinda suck imo lmao

Daily Dragon #352 - Snowdragon

A dragon made completely out of snow, stones, and small things the creator used as accessories! Most notably, within it are enchanted gems from a dragon's horde, allowing the Snowdragon to come to life!

This is a slightly less ambitious redraw this time lol. This is a dragon from maybe around 2014-2016ish?? I wanted to wait and see if it would snow irl so I could make a REAL Snowdragon. But it's becoming apparent to me that's not happening lol. So I just redrew this instead :)

Daily Dragon #353 - Damnation

“As there is life, I am death. As there is hope, I am despair. As there is light, I am darkness. I am true hatred incarnate, no power shall stand before me.”

This is Damnation, the Evil God Dragon! This was the big finale to my Monthly Dragon challenge in 2020! They're the grand final boss of your adventure, are you ready??

I tried to unify the color scheme a little bit more cause I thought all the red looked cool? I hope you agree!!

Also this is the other dragon I REALLY wanted to get done during this challenge! Alongside the Fruit Dragon, but they were so complicated I didn't think I'd get it done in time. But I cleaned up the design a bit and while it's hard to tell what's going on imo... Its cool enough

Daily Dragon #354 - Grey Greaver

One more anthro dragon before the challenge ends, why not? Grey works as a Bar Tender. He's very powerful and loves fighting, beating up people who cause problems in his bar!

Daily Dragon #355 - Gorosaur

Large and aggressive monsters that can release powerful blasts of electricity from their bodies! They can concentrate the power through beams from their mouth, or release it as a powerful blast from all over their bodies!

Daily Dragon #356 - Midgardsormr

A dragon I've been meaning to redraw LONG before this challenge. It's finally time to do some Dragalia Lost fanart once again :) This game was so cool and had some wonderful dragons. This was really fun to do!

When Dragalia Lost was just announced (so like 2018?) I drew Brunhilda and Midgardsormr cause I was SO excited for it, of course I was, it had dragons in it. So the redraw was between the two of them, but I went for Midgardsormr cause I have protagonist disease.

Here's how I drew him in 2018!! How time flies...

This game was really cool and I'm still sad it never got a proper console port or anything in Smash Bros. I never finished the story when the game closed so I should sit down and watch it soon. Listening to Cinderella Step while drawing this made me a little emotional lol

Daily Dragon #357 - Heartless Wyvern

I've done a couple of dragons from different RPG series. And it just felt appropriate to do one more that's been left off: Kingdom Hearts! This is my favorite Heartless, and I wanted to do it WAY earlier but really struggled with it until now

Well, to be honest, I still struggled with this a lot. Particularly the head and surprisingly thick meaty legs on these guys. But I think it came out alright. I hope you like it!
