Thanks to everyone who submitted a character! heres a group shot of all the designs all together!

I'm gonna ramble a bit here under the cut with those sentimental feelings so feel free to read it or not, otherwise have a lovely night

I'm really grateful for everyone i've met in the community so far. so many of you all have been so welcoming and so understanding.

i know i can be a bit sparse at times, but it really means so much that so many of you are at least interested in this little passion project, let alone the thoughts and feelings behind it. it means so much to me beyond words.

i would shout out specific people who have made my return really special but I'm very nervous and dont wanna spam people with @'s needlessly, but know that if ive interacted with you, you've likely left a big impression on my heart!

im just blown away by everyones creativity sometimes honestly. there are stories ive been following for years and i wait on the edge of my seat for the next update, and theres others where they're brand new but i just fall in love with all the characters and the writing and augh!! you guys are so awesome!! please keep creating and also take care of yourselves!!!

Hazbin Hotel Rewrite [WIP- this is copy and pasted from my docs; this is old but i wanted to share it anyway]

Rewrite the Characters:

Charlie - Princess of Hell, Daughter of Lucifer. Sheltered and Cheery.

  I hate that she’s just Disney Princess coded. They could have used the whole sheltered route well but TBF we don't see that either.  We see a weird rendition of that where everyone forgives her for her terrible actions but yet other characters like Husk and Angel Dust are somehow held to a higher sense of accountability for their actions?!

  I also don’t believe whoever raised Charlie could keep her away from the ever growing and changing landscape of Hell. Like if you're going to be a Princess of anything its really important for the next heir to be well acquainted with their kingdom's landscape and history. At the very least talk to the locals and commonwealth. 

 Her design is...ok. It didn't change much from the pilot but tbh i liked her Pilot design, I feel like it makes sense for her to wear hints of red and white, but i wish they added more than just red, i feel like black or gold would have been better or even purple for Biblical accuracy of Pride.

Vaggie - Girlfriend to Charlie and protector of the Hotel, ex-Exorcist. 

 Why did they change the lore? Also why does it feel like the VA hated being there or was just given 0 directions. She sounds dull and plain except for when she’s sounding like she’s angry, which is 99.98% Of Vaggie’s emotions.

  That, an amnesia apparently?! How does vaggie not remember the very weapon that cut out her FUCKING EYE that still makes no sense, like how tf her and Lucifer and even Husk have wings, if wings are going to be used for ANY character why make them seem important to Vaggie when Husk literally has wings, and Lucifer the supposed “fallen Angel” STILL HAS HIS?! Like why? How does this make sense? 

Angel - FemBoy, Sex worker. Deals in Self destruction, self loathing and deep depression while also being flirty and promiscuous. Was in a Mafia family. 1940s timeline. 

 Trauma porn character and just a bunch of gay men stereotypes. As a survivor, his story doesn't hit the way its meant to. There's a good and bad way to show SA and Abuse and while they did it “eh” (im saying this loosely) at first, they were completely unrealistic and downright infantilizing at the end.

  There's no way someone who just went through a beating, an having to almost get drugged and dragged out of bar, is going to forgive the same person who started the stupor in the first place- ESPECIALLY ON THE SAME NIGHT!!!!!

I FUCKING CANT WITH THESE WRITERS THINKING MENTAL HEALTH CAN BE SOLVED IN A 20 MIN EPSIODE, IS THIS A KIDS SHOW ABOUT FRIENDSHIP OR AN ADULT SHOW ABOUT CARTOON DEMONS IN HELL. 

And don’t get me started on that terrible musical number, it’s just soft core rape in a cheery pop tune i fucking hate it!! It doesn't help that Raph, an SA fetishist STORYBOARDED THE DAMN SCENE

WHAT THE FUCK MEDRANO!?

Husk - Angry grump, bar keeper. Contracted to Alastor. Gambler. From the 1970 or 60. 

 The design is a character designer's worst nightmares come to life on the screen. Every furry from the early 2000s clutching their pearls in cringe. It screams “omg rawr xD uwu” era and i think we as a society are way past that, i figured a 30 something year old woman would be too.

Alastor - radio show host from the 30s. Cannibal. Half Creole. “Wendigo design”. Cocky and always smile but is "quite dangerous when provoked." [yea ok pal]

  An OC from middle school that should have stayed in middle school. There is a reason so many OCs from artists' early childhood don't make it into their new and growing art style. Most of the time if you keep obsessing over the same OCs you stunt yourself on growing in your art. Tumblr Sexy Man is that exact thing. I like him in concept but, if he was drawn better and actually looked like a man from the 1900s and in his 40s,(or even a half creole man; that's supposedly a Wendigo) I'd have less to complain about. His concept is good and interesting, but its not the first or the last and Alastor def isn't the first. Also give that man a haircut please!

Nifty - Japanese-American. From the 50s Obsessive and a neat freak. Camera shy but psychotic.

  I feel like this is just a racist stereotype waiting to be exposed. The “young psychotic Japanese  girl” trope is so fucking old and repetitive that i cant vibe with a character like Nifty when i know her only purpose is to be used as comedy bait. It doesn't help that Viv didn't give Nifty almost any merch! Like WOW really showing favoritism over the merch sales and that is disgusting.

Sir Pentious - British inventor. Kinda an idiot but is a brilliant machinist.

  We were robbed of a decent villain. I hate that he became part of the cast and became the first redeemed as if Angel wasn't there longer and started showing signs of Redemption sooner, like we got more Redemption scenes of Angel but like NONE of Pentious and we are supposed to believe this weird snake dude is redeemed just cuz he kissed a girl and got himself killed for nothing???? VIVZIE YOUR ASS WRITING IS ASS!!

Also he's a stolen Character...seems to be a trend for Viv..

Lucifer - King of Hell, Father of Charlie, Sin of Pride. Depressed and non-serious, deep self loathing. Complex of some sort. Short King.

 He’s fine..i guess, i mean its freaking Jeremy Jordan VA-ing him…he kind fixes whatever is wrong with Lucifer character wise. [this is for very obvious reasons a joke, while re-reading this i realized some people might not know i'm being sarcastic,oopsies] He’s a terrible character for numerous reasons. He is kinda homophobic if you really think about that “i like girls too” line and then proceeds to call her “MAGGIE”;  Lucifer feels like he is just there to satisfy Viv’s  disney esque “daddy issues” type kink she has for “tragic characters and shitty dads” type characters.

 Designs wise he trash. He looks like jeff the killer but blonde and drawn by your aunt who refused to go to art school

Cherri Bomb - Angels Friend. Arsonist. From the 60s(?). Punk rock.

 Her design is literally traced and just the Addict design…the fans are just stupid. Also i dont like the fact that Viv EXPECTED viewers of her show, to have done homework on who the fuck Cherri is, cuz if you're a new watcher, and didn't read the fucking Vivziepop Bible, you wont know who tf she if or why you should even care about her.

 Why is Angel hanging out with someone like this in the first place, You’d think because Angel is older and from a different time period he wouldn't vibe with Cherri?? But apparently Viv thinks a fem gay man from the 30s would be the best homie to a 20 yr old punk rock Aussie from the 60s, a whole 3 decades of time difference!! Tell us why and how they know each other!! How can these fundamentally very different people even vibe together!! Is it just cus "wow shared trauma of abusive lovers" cuz wow Viv.

This one also feels really fucking racist. Idk what it is with Viv but the jewish stereotypes of Mimzie are absolutely atrocious.

Lucifer - 

 Was an Angel with dreams, and took part in the Creation of All Things.

   However Lucifer was too ambitious and went off course with the designs of Earth’s creatures, causing the other Angels to feel uncomfortable by him and his new creations. 

While the Angels were tolerating him, he was allowed to visit the First Human, but in doing so felt that their lack of knowledge was unfair and so in hopes of helping the other Angels see things his way, he gave the Apple of Knowledge to Adam and Lilith. 

 This didn't go as planned though, Where Lilith became kinder and more empathetic, Adam however became more uptight, and acted as if he was better than Lilith.

 Lucifer defended Lilith against Adam thus causing the Angels attention to be drawn. Seeing what Lucifer had done; Ultimately bringing evil (free will) into the world, They (strangely) cast Lucifer AND Lilith, as well as the creatures Lucifer had created to the dark void;

 The Angels now would call it, Hell. Lucifer, home. 

Lucifer would first land in Hell confused and depressed, Along with Lilith they both begin to freak out as they look into the dark, empty landscape in front of them. Feelings of bitterness begin to reside within Lucifer, that settled into a resilient sense of ignorant Pride. 

Lucifer’s Creations - 

 The demons and most of the Hellborns. Lucifer is treated as the Divine Judge of Hell, His punishment is having to witness all the evil that had been created due to him and He in turn must turn what could never be, into another one of his creations. Though he is given it a process. He has given up on making anymore Hellborns due to them fixing that themselves. Demons that are specifically Dead Humans (The Sinners).

Sins - 

 All of the Sins were once creatures created by Lucifer that began to Form into The 7 Deadly Sins. However the rest of these creatures evolved into lower ranks and a hierarchy was formed. With the Sins and Lucifer being at the top.

 The 7 are special creatures that Lucifer held a special fondness to in particular. More so than some of the other Creations. Each of these Sins were given a mission after the fall and were subsequently turned into the Sins by the Angels, who felt they deserved the same punishment, if not worse, as Lucifer. Forcing each of the Sins to work as their prince/princess of their specific ring unless they want their entire existence to cease. They rather that not happen.

The angels cursed all the sins, and Lucifer himself. that if they ever stop their torment they will cease to exist. Angels thought this was humane but didn't realize or rather didn't care that much at the time how barbaric it actually is. 

Dubbed the Curse of the Angels or Angels Kiss 

(play on Kiss of Death where whomever Death kissed is marked for death, 

here the Sins were “kissed” by the Angels and a “kiss” was once used to symbolize a curse or bad omen onto another)

their "death" however is more than they evaporate into nothing

its their very minds and bodies slowly begin to deteriorate painfully to the point of being empty husks. No expression, No emotions, No sense of self. Nothing. Their consciousness and personality essentially gets erased entirely.

Premise IDEAS for Rewrite: 

1] 

Sinners go through character arc delving into their issues that lead to each one's Redemption

Heaven gets upset over the rise of redemption in Sinner 

 Earthly Denizens of Heaven/ “winners”  attack the Hotel

The Sinners and the Staff defend the Hotel

Heaven’s attackers are turned fallen.

so i started this almost a year ago, it was right when i really started to dislike Viv and Helluva Flop Boss. If you wanna give a suggestion on what you think could make this better go for it. It's a WIP- so any advice is welcome and appreciated!!

What didn’t/did you like about The Super Mario Bros Movie and how you made your great comic because of it.

Lets see... I didn't like:

1* The pacing. There where some scenes that needed more time for fleshing out. 2* Crankys voice actor choice. 3* Toad was under utilized. 4* King boo looked like a last minute thing to put in the film design wise? Idk he looks weird to me

And there's other stuff I wish was in the movie but I feel like that stuff will be added to the next movie, so I'll bring it up when I see it

But overall I still like the movie fine and didn't watch it 30(+?) times. Now to get to what I like:

1* Obviously my favorite pair of bros whenever they were on screen. Best parts hands down. 2* The music was so good. I was listening to the ost for months. 3* The background design/ movies cover was top notch ( I'm still looking to snag a poster ) 4* Honestly, part of me still cant believe we got to see Mario & Luigis family, it's amazing. 5* I really like what they did for Peaches backstory. ( this is also based on concept art ) It was weird she was the princess of other species and never seeing the king or queen (not counting the comics/books). The toads probably didn't have a monarchy what so ever before Peach came along and they just decided to make her a princess because that's what she wanted as a child (not confirmed canon but I can dream 😭) 6* Bowser was cool, the koopa general was cool, the dry bones were cool, the maw ray was cool, the karts were cool, blahblahblah 🤤 7* TANOOKI ❤️❤️❤️❤️ 8* BABIES ❤️❤️❤️❤️

The Mario movie couldn't come out at a better time for me. I was in a huge drawing slump and didn't post any art for roughly a year on my Instagram. It set a fire for me to not only draw something for it but start a tumblr account. I hope to get all the pages out before the second movie comes out but I keep thinking up stuff to add/change or get rid of 😵

Nayuta Yamada waking up and FINDING OUT about all the drama. Her husband managed to find out a way to wake her up, worked with a new government that staged a coup, his kids disowned him and believed she was dead, and he made 30+ clones that were used for sacrifices on the hypnosis mic prototype. What happens when she wakes up and sees his cast from his broken arm that their son did 😭 i also hope shes actually an interesting character and not just that 'perfect dead wife' trope thingy. Ik i saw a great Nayuta headcanon that i REALLY want to be canon. I also hope we get a Nayuta design drop. Personally, I dont think she'll overly look like Ramuda bc Rei knew what the Ramuda clones were used for, so I doubt hed want to see her likeliness keep dying.

Oh my god the Yamada family drama HAS to go crazy. Like the whole hypmic plot was made bc one guy tried to get revenge on the world or whatever and wake up his comatose wife

It's so odd to see a comment like this, on a post for a Nendoroid that is only $46. Though, that same Nendoroid Damian Desmond is also 6100 yen on preorder. That is a pretty big price jump.

So i have to wonder why more people commenting to the English Good Smile Company Twitter aren't just preordering from the US Good Smile Company Shop for the lower price---then i remember I'm an idiot who forgot how many other countries speak English. Even if they did preorder from the GSC US Shop, there must be crazy customs/shipping fees.😣💸

Still, aside from a few very popular series being above average Nendoroid price (Spy x Family, Kingdom Hearts), overall Nendoroid prices have seemed around a reasonable $50.

Still, i was shocked to see the prices of Spy x Family and Kingdom Hearts Nendoroids! Over $60 each! I cant imagine the aftermarket prices and markups from preordering at stores outside of GSC.😵‍💫 And it's even more unreasonable after having collected Touken Ranbu and Kantai Collection Nendoroids. TouRabu and KanColle are intricately designed, can even have those presumedly expensive metallic shiny paints (that even Fate Nendoroids skimp on), and in the case of KanColle, can include large, also intricately complex accessories. Those KanColle battleship accessories make $60 reasonable. And yet, there are KanColle much lower priced than that! TouRabu too! Meticulously sculpted and painted sword boys with complex armor and beautiful hair, all much less than $60.

I can only speculate that IPs who know they are popular, are asking for higher licensing fees so they can get a bigger cut. Spy x Family, Kingdom Hearts, and Marvel/MCU are very popular, after all. I'm not into Vtubers or Fate, so i dont know their average prices off the top of my head. (I only have a few Fate Nendoroids from some time ago.) But it seems like only really popular properties are getting Nendoroids priced higher than their design complexity levels warrant.

Still, sometimes i see posts like this, and i feel like some people wont be happy until Nendoroids are as cheap as $15 American action figures for children. I have played with those $15 action figures when I was a kid. They used the same mold for all characters that were even remotely similar, their sculpts were not good, the articulation was clunky, and the painting was terrible. It wasn't until Todd McFarlane started making figures that that entire "American action figure" market was introduced to articulated figures that actually looked good by adult standards. And McFarlane Toys are often around $30. $35-$50 are reasonable prices for the quality and versatility of Nendoroids. I've also seen my fair share of exasperating idiots who argue that Nendoroids are children's toys, and therefore should be cheap...even though there are Nendoroids with their boobs hanging out, wearing BDSM collars, and Nendoroids of Pennywise and A Clockwork Orange. Even just the average modular Nendoroid arm is too small for a child to safely play with! Even adult Nendoroid collectors complain about the difficulty in handling average small Nendoroid parts! Claims that Nendoroids are children's toys, always aggravate the hell out if me!... Regardless, you don't want Nendoroids to be at $15 quality level. Believe me.

Though I just had the thought: Maybe instead of DX versions or extra faceplate sets (as GSC has been doing lately with Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba, Umaru-chan, Non Non Biyori, Attack on Titan), maybe GSC should make stripped down Nendoroids, with separate optional sets, of all the usual accessories, normally included with the current average $50 Nendoroid. Remember the Haikyuu school club jersey version Nendoroids? Those were only $25-$30. They were full Nendoroids, but with no spare faceplates, only 1 extra set of alternate arms, and 2 prop accessories each. They weren't stuck in an awkward seated pose, like Nendoroid Swacchao. They weren't static, non-posable, non-modular, like Nendoroid Co-de. They weren't at shrunken scales, like Nendoroid Petite or Nendoroid Surprise. They were full Nendoroids with less parts FOR ONLY $25. GoodSmile was onto a good idea when they started offering DX version Nendoroids alongside normal version Nendoroids. But the problem is that people dont just want the option to pay $50 instead of $80. They want to pay much MUCH less than $50. And if Nendoroids can come down to $25, then I think a lot of people who complain that Nendoroid prices are too out of reach, could get full Nendoroids. Then when they whenever they have more cash, they could also buy the additional accessories separately. Anyway, I can see GSC trying to make more affordable figures, when they introduced Pop Up Parades as "less than $40" in both their announcements for the figure line and at the top of the product line's webpage's description. Plus, they're introducing figure lines like Swacchao and Nendoroid Surprise, which on first glance seem like "Nendoroids, but cheaper". I feel like they're so close to the answer, but they're just not quite getting it. Just make a whole line like those Haikyuu club jersey versions, or Wooser Hand To Mouth: Nendoroids for $25-$30; and if people can afford more accessories, then they can get them separately, but if they can't, then they can still get a full basic Nendoroid.

so apparently.... i am the problem haha.

i told jid that i needed to sit with my feelings after the date and evaluate where this was all going. i was so adamant with that mindset about not pursuing a relationship with him because of those little icks (asshole huwaina) such as him mansplaining (like which guy doesnt? its in their nature) and him dismissing some of my needs (like his persistence of taking me out to the beach, him not believing i cant eat tuna bc of a doc i watched in college) and his stupid lateness and inability to text if hes late (he made me drive all the way to his workplace to only findout he wasnt there yet when i called despite me texting earlier on to say ill make my move early and having to drive to the restaurant alone and him making me wait again for 30 mins at the restaurant) and his fear of being 30 and acting like i have a life a head of me just bc im 3 years younger and his need to shorten my name when i told him i hate when ppl shorten my name.

Dude, it’s been so great taking classes again. I’m not any good at Meisner technique (my teacher yelled at me frequently, all of which was very deserved, and I respond better in the arts to brutal honesty and tough love, so my monologues are peak now) but it was amazing to get back into that space with such interesting people. There were some who were so annoying, but that’s the risk and it’s worth it imo. And you’re so right that it’s never too late to try, the secret is that there are fewer interesting roles for younger actors than older actors, and so you’re always growing into something better, even just good scripts to read in a class.

The newest event in Obey Me is horribly unfair to F2P players

Hello, I absolutely love this game and want it to grow and last a long time, I’ve been playing since day 1 and love it to bits. But, in the most recent events I’ve noticed a terrible trend, the events are slowly getting increasingly impossible for F2P players. 

Back in the earlier events a player only needed about 60,000 points to get past pg.1, but in the most recent event you need 95,000 to get past page 1.

This is not good and, as a game designer,  I feel I should express my concern and explain why I feel this. Under the cut you will see my reasoning and thought process. 

The event that is currently happening as I make this is the Paws and Claws event 

The cheat cards for this event are:

I’ll break down the total bonus point amounts for each card

SR Lucifer: +6 for first copy +1 every skill LV

SR Beel:  +6 for first copy +1 every skill LV

SSR Mammon: +18 for first copy +4 every skill LV

UR Satan: +36 for first copy +6 every skill LV

UR Asmo: +36 for first copy +6 every skill LV

I will also like to establish how many stages there are for each page of the event, this event has 2 pages of levels with a grand total of 26 stages

Each stage lets you play 3 times for free each day, costing 8AP each 

the player also gets 5 extra plays from watching ads, so if we take 26 x 3 + 5 = 83 plays per day, 

Then we take 83s x 8e = 664  energy needed per day to get each free play per day.

Now for the next section lets assume that the player did not get any of the cheat cards and only has the default 120 points per play. 

83s x 120p = 9,960 points per day

9960p x 11d = 109,560 total points during the event

109,560 is just over the final amount for the first page, getting them the SR demon card for the event. But this is assuming the player is able to do the Max amount of free plays each day which is easier said then done.

lets start by seeing how much energy the player gets during the typical day just via time.

The player gets 1 energy every 5 minutes with a cap of 100 (120 if VIP) that means that if we 24 x 60= 1440 then 1440 / 5 = 288 per day 

that still leaves us 376 energy short of the needed 664 energy.  so now lets add in the other free energy in a day

+60 from the daily 2 Beel missions

+30 from Ads

+20 from daily missions

+20 from interacting with demons after stages

potentially +50 from friends

= 180 energy from secondary sources

this gives us a total of 468 still 196 energy from the needed 664. And lets keep in mind that getting the 468 implys that the player is playing PERFECTLY doing everything every day. there are a few other ways of getting energy, such as the 30-50 energy we occasionally get in the gift box once a day, but that is not consistent, same with the energy gained from login bonuses. 

There is also the energy from the event its self which has 230 energy available on the 1st page, but it should be viewed as a last resort boost when you need it so I recommend saving them for the half part of the event. 

the way the player would be able to get the last remaining energy is from the daily flash sale where the player can get 200 energy for 10dp, but this will need the player to pay 100dp during the entire event, half of the daily intake of DP from daily missions. 

But lets assume the player does not want to spend the 10dp, or does not see the flash sale since sometimes they take forever to show up. what is the total points they can get with the free energy they are given each day? 

468 / 8 = 58.8, but we cant do .8 of a stage so 58.

58s x 120e = 6960 points

6960p x 11d = 76,560 points during the event

this will get you just above 2/3 of the way though the 1st pg, THE FIRST PAGE, so unless the player is willing to spend DP on refilling energy they are stuck without even getting the SR Demon card for this event.  --------------------------------------------------

Now lets assume the F2P player is willing to go all out with the DP they do have for this event, how far can they get while still having 0 cheat cards?

The player gets 18DP everyday for doing daily missions, and roughly 50DP from the event. 

this means they will get about 248DP during the event not counting any extras from other missions, devil tree, or potential compensation gifts.  if you deduct the 100DP from the daily flash energy flash sale that leaves 148DP for other purposes, such as stage and normal energy refills. 

it cost 5DP to refill 3 plays of a stage, so they can refill stages about 29 times, meaning roughly 87 more plays which will still only give them 10,440 more points getting them a grand total of exactly 120,000 points in this event not even the half way mark of the second page. At that point I personally don’t think it would be worth using the 148DP to get to that point, id suggest saving them or using them for the LV up flash sale since at least then you get 5 vouchers.

so to be clear, a F2P player with 0 cheat cards can only get around 120,000 points without spending money.

but this means they will be using all their DP on energy and stage refills, when I imagine most F2P would rather save for the level up flash sale for the 5 Demon Vouchers. 

This also assumes the player is playing absolutely perfectly, without missing any Energy drops, which can be very hard for people to maintain while also sleeping, for 11 days in a row as from personal experience it gets harder to maintain as time goes on.

What does this mean? 

I believe this is unfair for F2P players, especially when you look at past events when it  would only take about 60,000 points for the first page, each event for the past few have raised the amount by about 10,000 - 20,000 thousand points which if they keep this up it will be almost impossible for F2P players to keep up. I understand that this is a company that needs money to run and continue creating this game we all love, but making it so the game is only viable for whales is not the way to go. 

when it comes to mobile games there are roughly 3 categories of players

whales - big spenders

dolphins - people who spend some but not a large amount

Free 2 Play - do not spend

as a whole Whales tend to only make up a small portion of the player base, just look at the people in the top 10 of the current event. 

See how quickly the numbers drop from absolute lunacy to more reasonable amounts (still a lot) meaning thousands of dollars difference between the people who payed enough money to reach that point. So by appealing to only those people they are alienating 90% of the player base, which is a very bad idea. 

By alienating the majority of players they risk loosing the currently very active fan base around the game, as people get more and more frustrated and eventually give it up out of frustration. Obey me has been very lucky to attract such a large fanbase so quickly, its only about 6 months old at the time that i’m writing this and its already has a massive and active fanbase creating tons of fanwork and engaging with each other. But if people start to feel like the game doesn't care about them and only caters to Whales they will stop playing and the community will slowly start to wither.

My Suggestions 

Several months ago Solmare listened to the feedback from players about how unfair they thought the events were and listened, they doubled the event stages allowing people to get more points then they could before, making it so F2P players could get to the end of the 2nd page if they put in the work. But by raising the point totals needed to get though the pages they are making that change completely redundant. Leaving us with events that take twice the amount of work for the same rewards as before. I understand they are figuring this out as they go and adjusting events constantly trying to work out a balance, but what they currently have is not good for the games long term as it will alienate a large section of the fan base. 

I believe that that they should either lower the total points needed for each page or raise the default point total, to make it so a F2P player with 0 cheat cards can get to the end of the first page without spending any DP

if they put in the work. Then make it so people who have summoned some SRs and a SSR cheat card can get to the 2nd page reliably, then the 3rd page+ can be for people who are willing to spend money and or are just lucky enough in the gacha. this way there is still the incentive for people to pay money if they want to, but don’t feel like they are forced to. (Although I imagine people are already spending a lot in the gacha to get the cards they want anyway)  

F2P people will still not be able to always get to page 3+ but this will also help long term for if/when they decide to do event re-runs. Since it would give players who where around for the first time something to still work for since they will likely be able to get the shards needed the 2nd time though.

It may not feel like we can do much about this, but Solmare has listened to the fans before. We also know that some of them do look at the content fans make and discuss.

SO talk about it, Tweet at them, share your displeasure, show your friends have them tweet it out, talk about it on the facebook page (be civil though), just kick up a fuss so they can see how much this is hurting the player base.  if you don’t know what to say to them, you can even tweet this at them, copy and past it, do what ever, just let them know how upset you are.

For your art of Roose Bolton’s wives, did you have any particular ideas for his first wife to inspire you, since we know so little about her?

{BETHANY BOLTON}, [Rodrik Ryswell’s] daughter, second wife of Lord Roose Bolton, died of a fever

Once, when my second wife was still alive, he was caught stealing scent from her bedchamber.

His first wife is sadly only ever mentioned by implication, so there isn’t anything we can concretely extract from the text.

For her house, I want to believe that Grrm would not ignore the relevance it might still have to the story (since Roose’ current storyline depends on him having northern connections); so since she has never been named, my logic was:

- She likely isn’t from a house of anyone who is allied with Roose currently and has a lot of speaking lines, since i assume it would have been mentioned otherwise (considering that his Ryswell connection comes up a lot)

- She likely isn’t from a house of anyone who is a prominent enemy of Roose and has a lot of speaking lines, since it might have been mentioned otherwise (for example if she was a Manderly, Wyman might have mentioned that in his speeches, especially if he can use it to paint Roose in a worse light)

- She was probably not from a too minor/"lower-class" house (Roose appears to be classist, and he is the heir of a powerful house and would marry accordingly, especially also for alliance purposes)

- Since she is Roose' first wife, she was likely close to his age ("well past 40" in the current day), and so her potential father/siblings would need to fit with that

What i first settled on for headcanon was House Flint, and later i narrowed it to House Flint of Flint's Finger; they have no real presence in the story, but are shown to be allied to Roose in aDwD. It could make sense that they have ties of marriage or friendship to him, to contrast the other Flints (Widow's Watch follows Manderly's lead, and the mountain Flints are opposed to Bolton). They are are also geographically located close to the Ryswell/Dustin area, who are Bolton allies.

Another idea i started toying with is that his first wife was a Karstark, who are geographically close to the Dreadfort and of a high status; Roose' wife would have either been a daughter of Arnolf (who is loyal to him in aDwD, and was described as having several daughters), or a sister of Rickard's (he and his father are both dead, so they themselves cant state their feelings towards Boltons anymore). Since Roose is sabotaging Rickard's branch in the wot5k (which benefits Arnolf) and collaborates with Arnolf in aDwD, i tend to assume if his first wife was a Karstark it would be Arnolf's daughter.

Another option for his first wife could be a Redfort, which would explain why Roose had the connections to send Domeric there. However i prefer the idea that Roose' own mother is a Redfort, because that gives Domeric family ties there and also fits with how few true allies Roose has in the North (one would assume if Roose was a cousin/nephew to one of the northern families, it would have an impact on their loyalties in some way; and Domeric also felt alone in the North). On the other hand, Roose never suggests he or Domeric are related to the Redforts, but then he also never mentions having married into them. Sansa’s plot in The Winds of Winter is likely going to give us specifics of how the Boltons are connected to the Redforts, since several Redforts and related characters are present in the storyline (like Mya Stone).

Of course grrm could make her belong to some other house and it just simply isn't relevant anymore because she died so long ago (comparable to Jorah's glover wife or Cregan’s two unnamed wives); in that case shes probably a sibling of one of the 30-50+ year old characters, or a daughter of a 70+ year old lord in the story.

Candidates i could imagine (some more, some less likely) are House Dustin (powerful, no stated hatred towards Bolton, no known current-day members), House Mormont (Jorah is around Roose’ age and could have had a fitting female relative), Houses Glover and Locke (both are allied with Manderly now, but have married powerful houses such as Stark in the past; a Locke at Manderly’s court talks about Roose as though he knows him well, while Robett Glover talks about Boltons in dislike and has a lot of animosity in his storyline), House Umber (geographically close, though Mors opposes House Bolton in aDwD while Hother is untrustworthy, and they dont appear to have been close to Bolton in the past), House Flint of Widow’s Watch (Geographically close, but allied with Manderly in aDwD), or Bannermen of House Bolton that haven’t come up yet (though again he likely wouldn’t marry someone too low).

Candidates i generally exclude are House Hornwood (Luwin says the Boltons have no claim in the Hornwood issue except regional closeness), the Mountain Clans (classism, hatred towards Boltons), House Manderly (i assume Wyman would have mentioned it in his speech, and he appears a huge Stark loyalist), House Ryswell (because that's his second wife already), Crannogman houses (classism, insulation, animosity, Reeds are very Stark-aligned), and any major house's lower bannermen (Like Poole and Stout) as well as Houses that are so minor we dont know much about them. Houses Cerwyn and Tallhart feel unlikely to me (Cerwyn is close to Stark, and Tallhart is a lower masterly house and doesn’t seem to be of high relevance in northern politics).

Of course none of this is certain; for all we know some Houses could have changed their relationships over time (maybe some lord was best friends with Roose’ dad, but their sons hate each other by aDwD), are newly opposing Bolton because of the Red Wedding or generally hate them but are allied for safety, or there are other developments in the past (or even future) that we dont know of, or any other factors that make the identity of his first wife hard to guess from analyzing loyalties alone. And since Roose isn’t a stranger to being a turncloak, him having married someone’s daughter decades ago doesn’t necessarily mean he wouldn’t betray/sabotage them. And lastly, Grrm might have just not thought to develop his first wife mentally, and so didn’t factor her identity into how he writes the northern dynamics.

My design for his first wife’s clothing has a dark grey/black/white color scheme; i designed it to fit the Flint sigil, but it would also fit with the Karstark one (though fashion-wise she is not congruent with my Karstark concept). Her face is loosely inspired by actress Natalia Dyer, who i think has an interesting face.

I am really really so grateful and happy to finally say that this morning I’ve delivered the last keychain left on my stock to their owner. That’s it. On just 2 weeks we’ve made sold out and +30 keychains are now with their owners or they’re on the way to their new home. 

Two intense weeks for me that were totally worth it. I dont even know what to write right now except to thank all of you. My expectatives about selling keychains of my artworks of NNT were totally low. I was expecting that not all keychains would be reserved during the reservation time on the first place. But ... what happened got be really by surprise. Not only were the reservations completed, but there was also such a demand to order more keychains that I had to ask my supplier on the last minute to increase the amount. On such short time .... I still cant believe this. It’s true that later few people change their mind at the last moment but more new people were interested to get them instead. 

So .... thank you, really really REALLY thank you for infinity times, for making this possible. For your reactions about the keychains, for supporting me a lot with the reblogs and prom, and mainly for believing this project would work. 

It did. And I CANT WAIT to repeat this experience again. I’ve learned a lot thanks to you and next time things will be improved and more easy for the customers. So yes, there will be a second launch of NNT Keychains. But not next month, not on 2020. I need some rest, so probably I wont do anything until spring 2021. Dear Ms. Dupain-Cheng,

In my desperation it seems I have acted quite far out of line. You see, a lot is riding on my ability to procure adequate gifts for my brothers. If I fail, my father may send me away in order to teach me a lesson in social skills. My brothers are huge fans of yours (I will also admit your artistry is very impressive) and have, not for a lack of trying, been unable to find out who you are. I have no doubt that if I get them MDC originals for Christmas then I will be able to stay.

This does not excuse my previous email however. I will ruefully admit that I’m often told I assume too much but few people have been so effective in pointing this out to me as yourself. I admit my methods were morally and legally unjust. I apologize and request forgiveness. Perhaps you could overlook my rather offensive first email and we could start again.

As for the blackmailing, I meant it when I said I have no desire to reveal your identity. I won’t. I realize now that would only make my own situation worse (my brothers would probably kill me on your behalf) but that is not my only motivator. In my research I learned about your situation in school. I will agree that I do not know the truth of the matter as well as yourself but I have no wish to make anything worse. I suppose you may as well have made the best choices you could’ve as it seems your classmates refuse to see reason. That must be inconvenient.

If this, my first apology, or the promised monetary compensation are still not enough to persuade you to still allow me to order my brothers MDC originals perhaps I may offer my help as well. I may not know the situation like you but I do have resources you might find useful. After all, they did allow me to find your identity.

-soooooo in the first ep nancy breaks into the hudsons house and finds tiffanys secret drawer w the nail polish and finds the amulet with a note that says "for your protection HG" yet on this video tiffany says she talked to a medium who gave her the amulet sooooo am i just confused? HG is hannah gruen obvi so is the address for the medium what hannah gave her? or was the address on the amulet which nancy dissolved in salt water to see? so how would tiffany know where to go? its chicken and the egg which came first hannah or the medium?

and lastly:

i close these two eps with a thought that everything in this show is sealed in death. all the lies, the imagery, the fake constructs people put up to get by all crumple the second someone dies- all the secrets come clean just like these doors have been unsealed.

Literally seeing that opening with all our loved avengers that are no more.

Whitney Houston “I will always love you” made me cry because damnit Tony’s face was right THERE! NOT OK!

The blip footage was pretty damn funny not gonna lie.

Peter’s cute ass plan to tell MJ how he feels.

MJ’s favorite flower being a Black Dalia because of the murder. Literally a girl I can relate too. Murderinos for life sister. Idk but it just made her sooo relatable!

The fact that Brad is a kid grown up from the blip and that made him seem all the weirder for MJ.

Jealous Peter was so freaking amazing! Oh my gosh! That face he’d get. I’m a sucker for jealousy and they did it so good.

Making MJ this awesome character she was before but also obviously has this softer layer where she does have flaws and insecurities and she’s really sweet but also so badass. That was amazing.

The starting relationship between Peter and Beck. It was cute and so I was sad knowing that Beck was somehow going to be the villain.

Also let’s talk about how Beck is basically Syndrom from the incredibles.

That scene with Peter and Brad....the pure terror when he snapped that picture

Also seeing how big of a dick Brad is and how unhealthy jealous he was.

“Nick Fury” getting ghosted, showing up in Venice, tranquilising Ned (don’t touch him you monster) and then promptly highjacking Peters Summer trip.

Showing the emotional trama Peter is going through. The anxiety, the greiving. It was very reminiscent of Iron Man 3 when Tony suffers from PTSD after the battle of New York. I loved that they showed Peter reacting as any kid would, many adults too, which is to just try and forget anything happened but being faced with the reality every day. So well done.

Happy and May’s relationship. Enough said 😂😂

I feel cheated we didn’t see Mr delmore again.

Addressing all the problems the Blip/Snap created. High school aging, school, drinking ages, homelessness and housing issues. That’s just the start of it I’m sure but they covered those pretty well and I love that.

The technology that made Beck into Misterio was so well done. Instead of some frankly, kinda far fetched story that he came from an alternate earth (which I was willing to believe but felt it was a cop out in terms of plot and character) they showed the real world issues that superhero’s can create. The Enemies that have a real deep rooted hatred for hero because they’ve personally been betrayed or wronged by them. Because marvel has always made clear, everyone is not on the hero’s side.

Steeping Misterio’s powers in tech which is classing marvel but again, so brilliantly done in this movie. I loved the development. Because at first glance, half way through, I was thinking “wow this is really kinda weird and unexplained and too witchcraft for what marvel usually brings to the superpower backstory” I know it’s weird to say after everything marvel has done. But it seemed just a tad out there without being too hard to grasp. Which again was brilliantly done because that was the whole point.

The nod to Misterio’s helmet even when Beck was in the hologram suit watching everything play out. I guess it was his screen? But I loved the staple of even without his big over the top suit he still had the trademark helmet. Great costume design.

Peter’s soft gazes towards MJ. Nearly gave me a cavity they were so sweet! Ahhh sooo cute

Mr. Harrington’s marital problems nearly made me pee my pants....we all knew here in the fandom that shit like that would half to happen but my god lol

The opera scene was sooo freakin cute and that one step Peter took when he saw Brad move in was so freaking cute and hot!

MJ running after him and finding the critical peice of information to crack the case wide open. Loved it.

Betty and Ned’s Sicily sweet romance that you knew couldn’t possibly last. They really nailed the realistic high school romance. But I still ship it.

The bus scene was epic. And when Peter knocked Flash out...god it was amazing.

Mj obviously having love eyes towards Peter same as he does for her.

THE FACT THAT HE ACTUALLY BOUGHT THAT NECKLACE FOR HER OH MY GOD! I CANT GET A GUY TO TEXT ME BACJ LET ALONE BUY A NECKLACE LIKE THAT WHICH PROBABALY COST A GOOD CHUNK OF CHANGE IT WAS SO FREAKING AMAZING AND CUTE AND TOUCHING.

All the iron man images got me feeling depressed as hell

“are you being serious because I was only like 67% sure?” That was amazing. Seeing MJ get so excited and trying to keep that hidden was awesome

The fact that she was so pleased with herself but also played it hella cool when Ned walked in and she said she figured it out. Literally that is me.

The shirtless Peter trope that we all wanted and freaking got! So freaking cute how she tried to peak at his abs. Like understandable girl.

The fucking illusions. Turning our sweet trusting Peter into a ball of mess. I was too.

God when he had to tell himself it wasn’t real but it still totally feels like it is.

Him trying to save MJ when she’s “thrown off the Eiffel Tower”

Every traumatizing thing Beck shows and tells him during the illusion. So shitty.

Seeing Tony’s grave, seeing iron man come out. That was awful and we all felt it in the movie because we’ve lost him too. We could FEEL that slap same as Peter.

Beck telling Peter that Tony’s death was his fault. I was abouta hurl myself at the movie screen.

Every illusion done in a way that just when you think it’s over, it’s never stopped. You forget what’s real and you feel trapped in it same as Peter does.

WHEN HE GETS HIT BY THE TRAIN!!!!!!!!!! Nearly had a damn heart attack!!!! My mom had to look over and ask if I was ok because I literally stopped breathing for a solid 30 seconds.

Showing gradually just how insane and evil Misterio was.

HAPPY BEING CONCERNED FOR PETER! LIKE SINCERELY AND HONESTLY CONCERNED! It’s good to know he’s got Happy to take care of him and May but that Peter still has a father type figure he can count on after Tony. Because you know Tony wouldn’t have put up with any of that getting hit by a train shit.

Also where the hell was Karen? We missed her. We got Edith but Karen wouldn’t have let Misterio take her over. WHERE WAS KAREN!!

That hug between them was so sweet and you can see the concern on Happy’s face

Happy and Peter opening up to each other was so awesome considering their relationship in Homecoming.

ALL THE TONY and PETER PARRELLS! All of them!!!!!!!!! Not the people saying “Spider-Man’s the next Ironman” no the actual hints and glimpses at how similar him and tony actually are. The hologram gauntlet shot, a straight parallel to Iron Man when Tony is building his first real suit. Obviously “Back in Black” by Led Zeplen (formally known as AC/DC) playing. Another obvious hint toward Tony. The Stark sunglasses. Peter falling with the parachute and it literally looks like Ironman with his jet stream behind him from a distance. There’s so much more I’ll do a whole other post on.

Of course: “I love Led Zeplin!” Hahaha it’s such a kid thing to say! I’ve said it before I knew the big differences between AC/DC and Led Zeplin. It was so freaking perfect.

MJ BADDASS COMES SWINGING WITH THE MACE AND IT WAS LEGINDARY OH MY GOD! YES GIRL! She’s my idol I love her so much.

Peter and his “Peter Tingle” And while we’re on the subject the banana he gets to the face while packing.

Important. His amazing skills at the end trusting his instincts (which is great because May says in regards to MJ, but it applies to this too) May tells Peter to trust his instincts and don’t think too much. And that’s what he does when he defeats Beck.

The bad ass “you can’t fool me anymore” after redirecting the gun away from his head at the end. Literally was so intense and well done.

Peter and MJ’s kisses! I loved how awkward it was at first and the slightly less awkward one. They really accurately captured the awkwardness of teenagers in love. Like that’s what it’s like guys.

Show me MJ’s parents you cowards, or show me something. Anything. I just want to know the nature of the situation.

Ned and Betty’s breakup. So funny and honestly not surprising at all. But still I ship them.
