I was sketching Kimi trying to get a feel for his features (for future fanart) and I was like mmh.... the boy wonder.

And then I went to my friend and started rambling on about how Lewis was The Prodigal Son™ , George is merc's golden boy and Kimi would be the boy wonder (because he's like MY AGE.) and I was like "I'm gonna start calling him Robin."

if we posit that the neurolinker(-equivalent) from which graphite edge got generated was originally the same kirito-isotope we follow in unital ring (as opposed to star king any of the uploads), that doesn't necessarily mean the graphite edge we know is kirito

it'd have to be someone close to them though!

there's a multiple options here, but let's go over a couple!

for a direct parallel to ash roller you'd expect it to be sugu, but that feels unlikely

asuna and alice don't fit the personality at all

yui seems like a promising option but im not sure if she *can* connect to a neurolinker that way, given that she's a pre-fluclight ai

now i mentioned "personality" being a factor just now

that's actually one of the main reasons i feel like the irl human behind graphite edge can't be kirito, the personality feels *different*, like i can't see kiri behaving like we see graph in the novels

really good at reaction speed and acrobatics on top of being used to fighting with both hands (ambidextrous< which afaik, kaz isn't!)

Prediction time:

the female detective we see on the promo is actually the one who kidnaps Maddie (see long brown hair in the scene where she is taken) and she is also Buck's new temporary LI. It's been a little while since the midseason finale and Buck is trying to rebound with her. She can see it's not going to last but can't let go so she will kidnap Maddie to then maybe try to play the hero that saves her or keep her locked up and comfort Buck in his time of devastation.

So the REAL Lyman Hall of Georgia might have been bisexual. Idk I read somewhere about that. But i have a theory that Jonathan Moore researched his character for 1776 and read that fact and decided to play Lyman Hall as if he were bi. I mean for example, in the scene where Rutledge has just introduced Hall to Joseph Hewes and other delegates from the south, Hewes asks Hall his views on independence and Hall says “I’m here without instructions Mr Hewes, able to vote my own personal convictions”

And then Rutledge says: “and they are?”

And then hall, after a moment says “personal” but the way he says it and looks at Rutledge makes me think he’s talking about his bisexuality or hinting at it, but also his personal opinion on independence he’s hiding.

But get this: THIS PART WAS NOT IN THE BROADWAY PRODUCTION!

I swear to whatever God there is that Peter Hunt added this scene specifically to show off that Lyman Hall might have been in love with Rutledge.

7. Danneel thought it was hilarious & said something like "not another one!" Which we took as about Misha but what if Alma?
