Do you ever think about Jon and Tim. About how Tim used to be the funny guy. The happy guy. The "flirting with cops to get info" guy. Do you ever think about Jon being the super dry, stuck-up holier-than-thou boss. Do you think about how back in MAG11 Jon says that Tim is the only one of his assistants to *not* have made up that statement as a prank? How long have they known each other? How close were they? How well did Tim know his friends so they could blindly trust him to not cross any lines?

Do you then think of everything past the worms? The way Jon didn't even trust Tim anymore, who got infested right besides him? Do you think about how Tim couldn't forgive Jon for the paranoia and distrust? Do you think about how Jon got more and more desperate while Tim grew bitter and angry? Do you think about the way Jon naturally knew Tim would come along to stop the Unknowing, that Tim would be the one to blow everything up? Do you think about Tim being grateful for that, but still unable to forgive Jon?

They clearly knew each other for ages. They knew each other well. They must have been close in some ways, at least. They seem very opposite, character-wise, but all those little comments and actions prove something else. And it fell apart so quickly, so easily, and there was no chance for them to mend anything.

The batgirls on their periods

My period is on and I've always wanted to write a story about that, but Winx Club wasn't something that felt the best for this outlet. Batfamily does work though because they're humans lol.

We go through out periods in different ways. The are the batgirls and batwoman are expys of that and this is how the male members of their family handle it. This is for all my girlie pops that have to deal with this curse. Let's dive in!

Dick Grayson: Hey Barb, you sent me this weird irate text, did I do something wrong?

Barbara Gordon (angry): Yes, remember that triple chocolate cake I had leftover? You better buy me a new one!

Barbara rolled over the man’s foot on purpose while grumbling curse words under her breath.

Dick: Ow, you said I could have it.

Barbara: Lies! Get me a new one or I’m ignoring you for the rest of the day and that’s including comms tonight!

Dick: Okay, I’ll do that after icing my foot. Freaking jerk.

Barbara (over her shoulder): Cake thief!

Tim Drake (having silently watched the arguing): Have the girls been acting… on edge lately?

Dick (once Barbara is gone): I hadn't noticed until my foot was ran over. What have you seen?

Tim: Stephanie has been eerily quiet and distant today. Which is not like her. Bruce asked her if she wanted to patrol a different part of Gotham and she just growled at him.

Dick: Hm... that is odd.

Stephanie Brown trudged the kitchen, wearing an oversized shirt and jogger pants. She grunted a greeting to the two men. She took a bag of carrots and a chocolate bar out of the fridge.

Stephanie (almost a whisper): I’m watching cat videos, don’t bother me. Oh, by the by, tell Bruce I will do the other part of town today.

Tim: Got it, bestie.

Stephanie grunted a 'thank you' and left the kitchen.

Tim: She hasn’t snapped at me too much.

Dick: Hm… wait… hold on… this isn’t the time is it?

Tim: Time for what?

Dick: We may be in the clear if Cass doesn’t have it.

Tim (confused): Have what?

Dick (shaking his head): You poor summer child.

Meanwhile Jason heard a knock at his door. He answered the door, seeing Cassandra Cain standing there, wringing her hands nervously.

Cass (frazzled): Hi Jason.

Jason: Hey Cass, everything okay, you look stressed?

Cass (bashfully): Do I? Yeah, um, my… Aunt Flo is visiting and I… I need to go to the store to buy supplies... I do not want to go in alone; you’re the only one I trust.

Jason: You don’t have an Aunt Flo and why would you need supplies to meet her?

Cass: Oh… oh dear, you don't get it. Um… my crimson tide… has arrived?

Jason: Crimson what?

Cass (pissed off): My period is on! It’s my time of the month! I need to buy tampons or pads before I bleed any-

Jason (covering her mouth): All right, got it... the message is in my head. Okay sure, I’ll get my keys.

Jason went to the living room to grab his backpack as Cass entered, surprised he would actually take her to the store.

Cass: Wait, you’re not… this isn’t strange to you?

Jason: I’m friends with Artemis. I’m used to this. Let’s get those supplies for you.

Cass clapped eagerly following Jason to his car.

Back at Wayne Manor, Dick waited for his father to answer the phone while Tim sat still unsure what was happening.

Dick (calling Bruce): Bruce are the girls on their periods?

Tim (gasping): Oh that's what it is!

Dick (irritated): Jesus Christ, Tim.

Bruce (calm): Hm... that’s why Stephanie snapped at me and that’s why Barbara cussed me out… I’m a little too used that. Then yes they are. Cass probably is too. Women can sync up sometimes.

Tim: How does he… Bruce how do you know this?

Bruce: Selina is very informative… and Harley is as well. So you learn a thing or two. Go easy on them and they won’t bite your head off. You didn’t do anything to piss them off have you?

Dick (ice pack on his foot): Nope.

Tim (prideful smile): I have not, so I’m doing good.

Bruce: Okay, well like I said don’t do anything else stupid, Dick.

Dick: I will try not to.

With that Bruce ended the call. He sighed then turned to his cousin Kate aka Batwoman as she sat on the passenger side of his car with her arms crossed and a smirk on her face.

Bruce: And then there's you.

Kate: Yeah, you’re just going to ignore me? No mention of the four way sync up?

Bruce: I’m ignoring a lot currently. I am a master at many things, women syncing menstrual cycles is not one of them.

Kate (agreeing): Trust me, women don’t get it either.

Bruce: Let’s get you your period stuff at least.

Kate: Could you not call it that?

Not until Clark walked up to the bottom of the stairs, where he could catch a better view of purple and blue rendering Bruce's sharp cheek.

There's something undeniably demure about Bruce Wayne; Youngest of them, softest of them. Clark adored it; He's always been a beast of a man, -- granted, raised with Martha Kent's southern loving ways, but you can't make a puppy from a wolf.

Bruce very much disagreed, and told Clark as such. That they compliment eachother.

Clark can't help but be sad at Bruce's softness now; But he's not stupid enough to think Bruce weak, and God help you if you're that man. Maybe Khoa was that man.

Clark, wordlessly, pulls him upstairs, hands gentle on his smaller wrists, ignoring the call back from downstairs, where death still lingers.

Bruce won't look at him when he asks, " Did you do it? Really?"

" He was going to hit me."

" He was already hitting you," Clark spits the hateful truth, acid hissing over his tongue like a well-sharpened knife, " He was already hitting you. And you didn't kill him then. "

A shiver, a tremble, Bruce turning his back as if to protect himself. Clark's heart hurts. He's never been someone Bruce needed protection from, " Please, --"

" So you were either going to stop him from hitting you... Or from hitting someone else," Bruce's frame moves from him, departs again, and Clark follows, because he let Bruce walk away one time and it got them here, " ...Or someone was gonna stop him from hitting you."

Bruce freezes, gaze wide. Only he's not looking at Clark. He's looking at what's behind him.

Clark follows the line of sight.

There's Jason, their youngest, their tallest, terrified, and teary, and blood soiling his hands.

A. Good evening anon, my week has been pretty decent, thank you. I hope yours was as well. Buck/Eddie are not written or played remotely similarly to Hen/Chimney. Their dynamics are purposely different. I don't know if you belong to the group of viewers whose knowledge of the show only consists of 6 episodes from season 7, but based on your ask, I'm going to assume that you are. But even if your knowledge is relegated to season 7 exclusively you should still be able to see the difference. Hen and Chimney are your textbook besties for life. They support each other. They cry with and cheer for one another. And sometimes even share one braincell. But they have always been shown to have lives separate from one another and their friendship (that's part of the show history you're deliberately avoiding). I believe Chimney has had one scene with Denny (Hen and Karen's son) throughout the entirety of the show's run. Buck and Christopher's relationship is its own unit within the show. They have episodes and arcs devoted to the two of them (that pesky show history again, sorry). Buck is not written as his sudo uncle. He's not written as his dad's best friend who occasionally babysits. He is a coparent. Eddie and Buck had one episode, Eddie's first episode, and it wasn't even the full episode, where they weren't written as immediately living in the pocket of each other. The show made a point of developing Hen and Chimney outside of their friendship. The show has deliberately chosen not to do that with Buck and Eddie. It's a season after season writing choice. It's why Kenny, Aisha, and Tim can all easily use the word friendship to describe Hen/Chimney. It's also why Oliver, Ryan and Tim cannot use the word friendship to describe Buck and Eddie. It's why in interview after interview they all struggle to describe it. The word friendship does not feel right or remotely strong enough to describe their relationship. And they all know it (again, it's that lousy show history).

It's okay to say you don't want Eddie to be canonically queer because you know what that means for Tommy. That's okay. You're allowed to hate it solely for what it means to that character. We all hate something that is canon. I hate several canon things. I won't tell you all of them, but I will share one that seems minor to a lot of people, but fills me with rage. When the show had Buck tell Eddie that he thinks Natalia 'sees' him I wanted to burn the studio to the ground. Evan Buckley looked Eddie Diaz in the face and actually said out loud that someone he just met is the person who makes him feel seen (even typing the words out made my face hot). Eddie Diaz who knows Evan Buckley better than anyone else in the world had to listen to those words be said about someone else. I hate it. I hate it so much that any time anyone mentions that scene around me all my friends groan because they know I'm about to go on a rant. I don't pretend I hate it for any other reason except it made me upset on Eddie's behalf. That's it. To me it felt wrong, wildly out of place, especially considering Buck had known her all of 5 minutes, and I thought it was stupid. That's it. I don't try to convince everyone that my feelings towards that scene are about some greater morality point. I hate it because I hate it. And that's all that matters. I don't know who told you all that you're not allowed to not want Eddie to be canonically queer because you know they'll put him with Buck. That's the reason you don't want it. Say it. You can. No one will judge you for you saying that. People are judging you because you're pretending it's all this other greater good for television bullshit. It's not. It's not because television needs a straight/queer bestie combo, those are everywhere, including 911, hello Hen and Chimney. It's not because television needs a straight man who's not afraid of his emotions. It's not because putting them in a relationship would ruin one of the best platonic relationships on television. It's none of those things. It's because he would be with Buck. Period. Just own it. It's fine.

The only problem with admitting it means you're also admitting that once his arc with Buck is complete there is no purpose for Tommy. That's why you don't want to admit it. You guys have spent the entire hiatus letting people convince you that he's becoming an integral part of the show. That he's going to have storylines and episodes devoted to him and his past. He's not. Even if they keep him around as a boyfriend for a bit he will still just exist on the fringes of the show. He will never be important as a stand alone character. The show has given zero indication that he is anything more than a plot point. They just haven't. And maybe you all are correct, and Tim has spent the downtime thinking of ways to make him more permanent. But that is very unlikely. Everything we've seen so far, including the decision to release that deleted clip, seems to indicate he has a very particular story purpose, and once they've told that particular part of the story, his services will no longer be required. You can hate it. You have absolutely every right to hate it. It doesn't matter if I, or anyone else, ever understands why you hate it. You can hate it. But it won't make it less true. It will just be part of the canon that you hate. And that's okay.

Okay, I wouldn't know what to add to this to be honest. Every single thing that has been on my mind for some time now is right there, in the answer above. The only difference is that the OP managed to summarise all of it in a few paragraphs. It would probably have taken me hours and pages of text to say what they just said in their answer.

I just want to add on thing. It's true, we all have canon parts of the show that we hate. Mine is the lawsuit arc. I can't watch it anymore. I can't even read fics that deal with the lawsuit. That is how much I hate it. I hated how they made Buck sue the Fire Department and how they made him tell that lawyer all about his friends' private lives. I absolutely detest it, because it made me dislike Buck during that time. And I've always loved Buck, even season 1 Buck. I eventually got over it and forgave Buck around the same time Eddie did. I will always hate that arc, but I also realise that it happened and that it will forever be a part of Buck's character arc.

This will be part of the canon that I hate. And that's okay. It won't make me love the show any less, but it will always be there.

To her credit, Tim doesn’t really feel like a threat at the moment, not with his legs trapped in one giant vine and his arms stretched above his head in the grasp of another. It’s a little humiliating, frankly, but it’s about what he expected the second Ivy forced the fight to the rooftop garden atop this apartment building.

She had a hostage. It was an obvious trap, but Tim didn’t have a choice but to follow her. At least he made sure they got away.

But wow, she pre-planned this. It’s incredibly evident now that she just wanted to get whichever of them was on duty downtown out of the way for something bigger. If he can just get his left hand a little mobile, he can reach the end of the small blade in his wrist gauntlet; he might be able to use it to cut himself free once she’s gone. He’ll probably have to dislocate his thumb to do it, but oh well. Beggars, choosers, all that.

“In fact, I think it might be good for you. I don’t even know you that well, and I can tell that you seriously need to unclench,” Ivy continues.

This love is good

Tim is tired, he’s exhausted from the day events and he’s relieved that he’s in bed with Lucy relatively unharmed. He’s sore and he has a few bruises as does Lucy but he’s okay and she’s okay and that’s all that matters.

He rolls over in bed and studies Lucy, she had fallen asleep awhile ago after being snuggled up to Tim. They hadn’t said much and that was okay because sometimes the silence says everything. He reaches over and brushes her hair out of her face, not wanting to wake her but he just wants to look at her.

He can see the handprint on her throat and he feels a rush of anger rise up in him at the man who had so viciously attacked her. He thought about the desperation he felt and the need to get to her. But he had to eliminate the threat first and then go to her. He runs his finger lightly across her skin, and smiles at how soft it is and the privilege he has of seeing her this way. She is in just his shirt, she had been too tired to get anything else out and he gladly gave it to her. He loved when she wore his clothes. Her hair was sprawled on the pillow like a halo and she was on her side. He watches as her chest rose and fell with every breath she took.

He almost lost her today, she almost lost him today. The thought of being with Lucy made him sick to his stomach. It was something he never wanted to think about because a life without Lucy Chen was a life he didn’t want to live.

He reaches out once more and drags his fingers across her arm lightly. And it just hits him, he loves her.

He’s in love with her. That realization sends a tingle up his spine that has him smiling softly. He knows if Lucy were awake, she would tease him for the dopey look on his face all of a sudden. He’s shocked that he didn’t realize this before.

But he loves her with everything he has in him.

It’s not like he hasn’t been in love before, Isabel for one. He loved her once upon a time and he really thought she was his ever after. He thought he would always be with her. But things don’t always work out and he realized that’s okay.

He could have loved Rachel, she was sweet and he really did like her. And Ashley, after awhile he couldn’t see a future with her but he could have loved her too.

But Lucy?

He knew from the time that they started dating that this was it for him, she was it for him. He wanted everything with her.

He hopes she knows that, he hopes she knows how much he wants her. He tries to show her everyday in everything he does and says, he shows her when they are tangled up in the sheets together.

But neither of them have said those three little words. And it’s a shame because he knows once he says them he will never be able to stop.

Lucy moves a little in her sleep, but she doesn’t wake. He smiles as he continues to watch her despite his own eyes growing heavy.

He loves her, and something had happened today. If she had gone to the building alone or he hadn’t gotten the man off of her in time. He never would have been able to tell her. He scoots closer to her and gives her a soft kiss on the cheek. And then loops his arm around her front. She moves a little and her hand is now on top of his and her legs are tangled with his. Even in her sleep, she knows where he is and wants to be close.

He kisses her again, this time on the back of the head and then closes his eyes. He would tell her he loves her in the morning. He didn’t want to waste another second of keeping that inside of him. He needs her to know.

His eyes slowly close and he falls asleep with the knowledge that he’s holding the woman he loves.

The next morning, Tim wakes up still tangled up with Lucy. He smiles as he leans over and kisses her cheek and then moves his lips down her body. He looks up when he feels her fingers in his hair. She’s looking at him through half lidded eyes and it looks like she’s still half asleep.

“Hi.” She mutters as he pushes her (his) shirt up and kisses her stomach.

“Good morning.” He says into her soft skin. God he loves her so much. “I have something to tell you.”

She takes her fingers through his hair, and looks at him curiously. He rests his chin on her stomach. “What’s that?”

“I love you.” He says. Her eyes widen and there’s a long pause before she’s pulling him up to her. He settles between her legs as she rests her forehead against his. She smiles and takes a deep breath.

“I love you too.” She whispers. Tim reaches out to run his finger across her cheek to stop the tears from falling.

“Yeah?” He asks.

Lucy huffs out a laugh and nods, she pulls his face to hers. “Yeah I do.” And he thinks back to when he asked her out and she said those words and he felt giddy because he thought he would never have a chance with her. He thought of how he felt and the excitement for the future. He has that feeling again, except this time it’s so much better because he just knows even with the bad guys still out there. Even with Aaron’s life hanging in the balance, he knows their future is bright and they can get through anything.

Together.

First and foremost, I am not looking for sympathy, I’m just keeping y’all in the loop. This is something I have lived with for years and it’s only in my late 30’s that I have been able to put words to it (now NO ONE CAN STOP ME!), and you also might be thinking but beef, didn’t you just go thru this?

Like a beaver on a unicycle, these are the days of our lives and yeah - this cycle of good and bad, shit and great, highs and lows? happy and sad is my life. 🎢🥩🤯

There are factors in my non-internet life that I don’t have control over right now and they’re causing pretty severe anxiety, and it’s gotten so outside the I-can-handle-this realm that the terrible, ominous, dread-inducing brain goblin - depression - has made a cantankerous nest in my noggin. I call him Norbert.

I’m okay. I’m safe. I’m warm. I’m comforted. But I’m sad. Norbert has me seeing slights and purposeful ignorance in harmless and pleasant interactions. Norbert also tells me there’s slightly veiled hatred in a completely-obvious-it’s-not-about-me statement.

Depression is such a selfish brain bastard. It tells you every bad thing is and must be about you, and it tells you these lies over and over until you break down and believe them. I hate depression. But I don’t hate me. I love me enough to know I need kindness - not just from my inner circle and irl besties - but also from myself. I deserve to be treated gently, especially when I’m feeling fragile and breakable and fractured.

This isn’t me saying I’m taking a break - far from it! But I may not be as quick to respond or posting as frequently. I say that, and who knows… peepaw could show up to a movie festival in an outfit that gives home economics project inspired by chicken wire and I could be brought back to life and feel better. That’s the joy of harboring a Norbert - I could be fine one minute and debilitated the next.

Nonnie, I’m sorry to usurp your THOT with sad beef rambles, but i had to convey that I really did need this. I needed a small, wordless reminder that someone remembers me (again, depression lies!). Not only did you remember me, you thought of me when you saw Tim looking like he had one too many nights of take out and took the time to send this so me. 💜🥩💜 thank you.

B R O U G H T  T H E  J O Y . . .

Bit of a personal one, but we got to do a little Halloween festive trip out yesterday with the little Truly's. Something you're not always able to do when you have a child with extra needs, as events such as these can be a bit overwhelming for a multitude of reasons. So when we're able to attend ones that are specially catered for families like ours, it's always a special occasion - even if it does make you realise how unfit you are wrangling two kids 🤣 Also, keeping on brand, Baby Truly adored all the Halloween decor and was waving and saying hello to her minions the props.

Watched the new Goosebumps on Disney+ not expecting much, and I actually enjoyed it. Little Betty would have been all over this as a kid.

Also, watched my annual viewing of Practical Magic, which thanks to the wonders of the digital age I own to stream to my heart's content regardless of the season.

CHB didn’t even have to relocate- Gotham and, by extent Metropolis, are literally on the other side of Manhattan. You know who did have to relocate? Percy Jackson 

The gods wanted him close by, and unfortunately that meant Percy and the family were moving into a new apartment 

It’s, like… fine. It’s definitely nicer, being paid for by the Olympians and magically protected

They met on the first day of school. These two idiots saw someone who looked very similar to them, Tim went ‘who are you?’ and Percy said ‘I’m you but I have a sword’ (he wasn’t joking but Tim doesn’t need to know that yet) and they became besties

(When the seven meet all the Wayne’s, Damian said casually aloud “Zhang, if I bested you in ritual combat, would I acquire your powers?” and poor Frank looked ready to faint in horror)

Anyways we know Diana is a child of Zeus (she and Jason fist bump for that one, but Thalia is the extra jazzed one)

Barry is a son of Hermes- explains why he survived the lightning bolt and it gave him speed 

Hal is a son of Athena, which is why the ring chose him. Wisdom. Power. Strength of will.

To the shock of no one, Olly-blond-hair-bright-smile-Prince-Charming-Queen AKA Green Arrow is a son of Apollo 

B… is an Apollo kid as well, believe it or not. Sparkly famous playboy also with the darkest streak ever? Dresses up and fights crazy theater kids every night? Yeah

There was capture the flag that night, but Jason was sulking because they wouldn’t let him use any type of gun

Really all of them but they were split in half- Jason and Tim for red, Dick and Damian for blue

Because the hunters were there as well, they were split in half as well, between Thalia and Reyna

The campers had never had to work with the hunters before. It was weird

And then Greeks v Romans of the seven

Lots of dividing ANYWAYS

The red, Greek, Thalia’s team won, but only barely. Those Romans have good strategy

What happened there? Where do they come in?

See, I was writing the bit just for fun where Percy starts at Gotham Prep

And… I accidentally gave them good chemistry

The issue is that it’s terrible writing and I’m too lazy to redo it so essentially here’s what happened:

On the first day of school, Tim Drake stumbled into his first period class ten minutes late, backpack halfway unzipped, Starbucks in one hand and a Monster in the other, running on approximately 36 minutes of sleep from two days ago.

Percy is right behind him, unsure of where to go. He slipped in right as the door was closing.

They both scan the room for threats, a habit of both of theirs, before turning to the teacher.

”Drake. Boy I’ve never seen before,” she says coldly. They both shift uncomfortably, feeling the eyes of everyone in the room. “Care to explain?”

Percy and Tim exchange a look, and as the hyper-intelligent dumbass heroes they are, they simultaneously come to the same conclusion.

”He’s new,” Tim explained, gesturing with his coffee and taking a swig of Monster from the other side.

”And, uh, he was showing me around,” Percy said nervously, reaching over to save the water bottle that was about to fall out of Tim’s bag.

The teacher regarded them both suspiciously. “Name?” she finally asked.

Percy winced. With his record, she probably already knew him, and… well, so much for first impressions.

”Percy Jackson,” he sighed.

As Mrs. Algebra Teacher was typing things into the attendance sheet, Tim leaned over and whispered, “Cool name. I’m Tim, by the way.” He shifted his drinks over to one side and extended an arm.

Percy grinned, shaking his hand. “We make a pretty good bullshitting team. Honestly impressive.”

”Boys,” the teacher interrupted. “Sit down. Since you’re such good friends already, you’ll enjoy afternoon detention together. Don’t be late again.”

They both suppressed groans, but sat down beside each other, knees brushing.

The rest of the school day went by, and they didn’t have any more classes together. Detention rolls around, and it’s just the two of them, because who the fuck else is getting detention on the first day of school.

They talked and flirted the whole time (mostly without even realizing they were doing that second one) and when their time was up, Tim stumbled in front of Percy on their way out, holding his arms out like he was directing traffic, blocking his exit. “Um,” he said nervously, cheeks slowly descending into the color of strawberries, “so I- I’m bi and I don’t really know how to ask people if they’re straight but if you wanted to get coffee sometime that would be cool or even just as friends is fine too because-“

”Tim.” Percy was shocked into laughing, grabbing the Batboy’s shoulders and shaking him lightly. “Chill. Same here. Coffee sounds great, although I can’t promise I won’t fall asleep on you. Caffeine and ADHD don’t mix well.”

”O-Oh.” Tim was sort of dazed, but also really on Cloud 9. He’d never really asked people out before, and they definitely don’t say yes. “I- that’s. Yeah. What days work for you?”

Percy grabbed his hand and slowly started to drag him down the hallway. His mother was waiting, after all, and he also didn’t really want to spend the night in the detention room (even if it was with Tim). “Hmm. This weekend is fine, but I really am new. You’re gonna have to pick the place.” They stopped just inside the front doors. Sally was idled there in Paul’s Prius, and Tim’s motorcycle was still parked where he left it that morning, the only vehicle left in the lot. Percy grinned, and Tim got lightheaded. “You need my number for that, right?”

”Y-Yeah…” Tim handed over his phone, not even remotely worried about what Percy might find out- secret identities, Wayne Enterprises secrets, mission plans. He could take it all and Tim wouldn’t care in the slightest.

Anyways they had a lovely coffee date and held hands and walked around Gotham for a bit for Tim to show Percy around and it was a fantastic time, might write it sometime

Hometown AU I have kinda gone off the deep end with this one besties....

Okay so, this AU has been rattling around my brain for a long long time and I just recently put it into motion. I want for there to be a series of shorts within this AU but that means I have to actually write and we all know how that goes.

But I digress, HERE is things to know about the Hometown AU:

Bruce’s parents are ALIVE (What!?, crazy I know)

Bruce is a doctor and works with Harley and Leslie Thompkins at her practice

Tim’s parents are divorced and he lives with his mom his dad is in California with Dana

Martha, Thomas and Alfred live together….(need I say more)

Dick still does acrobats, Jason plays Baseball and Hockey, Cass Dances, and Damian doesn’t do anything cause he’s a baby

Tim has a weak immune system 

Janet and Talia met at a PTSA meeting and have been friends ever since

The Town is some how close to Kansas and the ocean at the same time (don’t ask questions cause I won't answer)→ I just don’t want to take Clark’s Farm boy life away from him cause he visits his parents like all the time and I won’t take that away from the poor man.

Daina works as a museum historian and also gives tours to local schools she likes to teach them new stuff.

Much Like Clark, Bruce also visits his parents all the time and it may be hard when he’s a doctor but he’s trying his darn best

Dick says he doesn’t have a lot of siblings when his parents and siblings are literally adopting everyone the meet

Dick’s friends are family by association

Thomas and Martha were still shot but they made a full recovery, the shooter was not caught though.→ they know Bruce is still scared about that night.

Bruce is papa bear to the max

Bruce, Oliver, and Harvey are all childhood friends

Duke’s parents aren’t sick 

Duke met the family through dance classes he takes with Cass

The Core Four are all in the same class at school (bless those teachers)

Paige is whipped beyond measure for Stephie like there isn't a thing that little girl could ask that she wouldn't say yes to.

Lowkey very insane of Paige to ask Azzi something like that but it's Azzi, and when it's Azzi, Paige has no such thing as restrain.

Paige lowkey read Azzi for filth in those two lines and Azzi knows it.

That last scene was a lot like even as I was writing it, I felt kinda bad because it's a pretty shit situation all around and worst of all now EYE I have to dig them out of it.

I'm mapping out next chapter tonight and I have a general idea of what's gonna happen and I'm really excited to write it!

REVIEW

I loved this episode!! I thought it was really good :D. The scary vibe was really cool lol :). And while the isolation would've been interesting, I think it fit well into the time slot it was given, and I'm glad we got to see the others still. Also, again, it helped us move storylines along without wasting time, which is something that unfortunately needs to be done in this shorter season 😭. Still, besides Aaron and Celina maybe being a bit quick (but I'm not mad about it lol), nothing seems too rushed! Anyway, it was a really great episode :D. Loved all the plots :)! Also there were some really hilarious moments XDD 😂. Even a laughing emoji, I know, I'm crazy lol (thought about just saying "wild lol", bc it's just something I don't tend to do).

Also,regarding this review: again, not quite as serious as my main ones lol

Back a week later lol. I want to watch last night's (the next one compared to this review) episode tonight, so this will be quick lol.

Loved seeing my besties Angela and Nyla!! They didn't do too much in the way of actually stopping what was happening in the island, but I do think it's definitely a good thing they showed up. They got everything sorted and hey, they got a little vacation out of it too. And got to be epic 🥰. Slay, I love them <33. I did miss Wesley though lol, and James too. Also Gray just being like "whatever" was iconic lol.

Tim, Lucy, and Celina's case was wild lol!! I am glad they didn't just dismiss it, and actually figured out what happened. Even with the mind games, Celina seriously slayed this episode :DD.

LUCY MADE DETECTIVE!!! YAYYY WHOO CONGRATS GIRL 🥳🥳🥰🥰🥰. She did get 17th, but you know, it counts!! She slayed anyway <33. And the scene at the end with her and Tim was so cute 🥰🥰. Your honor I love them so much 😭😭❤️🥺🥰.

I don't remember what Aaron did much, but I do remember that him and Celina are doing better!! And I'm really glad for that :). They could be cute together, but I love them as friends and I really think it was just his trauma. Glad they're doing better now though :)).

John and Bailey!! Using his first name since it's his honeymoon lol. He deserves it xD. Anyway, I am so glad they're okay lol. Kinda idiots for going to people's houses in the middle of the night and what not, not to mention following murder sounds, but hey xD. What can you do lol, they're heroes. Anyway, these trouble magnets made it xD. And hey, at least they had a bit of honeymooning in there lol! I am glad they got their bit at the end though :')). It sucks the actual thing didn't work out too well, but I'm happy for them overall <3.

Overall, I really loved this episode! I thought the format was cool, and even if it would've made it feel more isolated, I'm glad we didn't just see Bailey and Nolan. Plus, everyone else had plots that did need moving along. Still, it was really enjoyable! Loved the creepy vibes, it was so fun :D.

So yeah! I really liked this episode, it was a nice switch of pace from what it usually is. I'm excited for the next one! This has been my review of. . .

I really liked titans portrayal of Gotham city and the Gotham tv series portrayal of the city, and this may sound ridiculous to say but at least for my liking there is not enough Gotham in the batman movies I get that the focus is on batman and whatever loon he's facing but giving some deeper focus to the nitty gritty and utter strangeness of the city and 'average' Gotham citizens is something that I just require lol

I really did not know all that, oh my gosh you're telling me we are legit not gonna see that little bastard (said with such affection) Jason todd version ever ever again because one dude wants his universe to be the only one!?- that is some playground level nonsense and honestly with this many characters and this many storyline possibilities it is just unfair not to make a bunch of universes and that way fans can pick and choose which ones they wanna follow. Like I know some people didn't like the arrowverse (I fucking loved it) but if there's different options you don't have to watch the one you don't like cuz it's not the only one available y'know

Bruce killed the Joker for Jason (that is so huge) heaven above let titans live on for a little bit 😢 a redhood spin off with him attempting to clean up his own mental state and Gotham city with Barbara's help and we could've gotten to see more gotham villians heck Tim could have been included here and there in it cuz he's Robin now, bestie I wanna pull my hair out. And the fight scenes in titans was like near netflix Daredevil level beauty, the brutality shown in some characters (ahem dick and jason) contrasted with how you know that they're good inside that their heart is in the right place (esp dick) but you can visibly see the brokenness

I'm just getting back into titans now, it took forever where I am for season 4 to come on netflix and I still haven't watched s4 yet (I did skip all the way til nearly the end just to watch the episode with redhood lol but oh my seeing Tim be robin was cool)

I kinda really need to see Jason dealing with what he did to poor Hank (hank was one of my favs I cannot believe he didn't get to just nicely retire with dawn 😢)

Okay no but you're right!! I started rewatching Gotham like 2 weeks ago actually lmao and the pure joy the cutscenes bring me just because the city looks so GOOD is insane hjdgfkdh Both Gotham and Titans did a really good job at showing how gritty and gloomy Gotham is while also allowing it feel very organic and completely normal for everyone living there. (like the Titans being a little confused with Gotham stuff happening but you have Dick, Jason, and Babs just rolling with the punches). Tbh I think every Batman related movie/show needs to show the city more like Titans and Gotham because I think showing how Gotham IS explains a lot of why Bruce and the rest of the batfam and villains are the way they are

Nope!! I'm assuming we'll see a version of Jason and Dick (at the very least) at some point but they won't be Titans versions and won't be the same actors. LITERALLY WHAT I'M SAYING!!!! I physically do not care what his role is. He shouldn't be able to just be the only one (again same goes for Marvel). But yes exactly!!!!! Like if there are different universes with a bunch of content for all of them, then like................that's more money?? lmao At the end of the day, studios like making money and if there is only one universe and 1 version of the characters, like you said, some people won't want any part of it because they won't like it. But, if there's another universe for them to watch, they might like that one!!! I have NO desire to watch The Flash movie and it kind of ruins it because actor. But, the show?? It's one of my favorites and I loved Grant Gustin as Barry and Keiynan Lonsdale as Wally jkdfhgkdj (I mean the whole cast of the show tbh is so good). I know James Gunn probably thinks it'll work because he worked for Marvel and it worked for them but DC isn't Marvel lmao AND IT SHOULDN'T BE. DC should be different, that's what makes it fun but having to watch 30 fucking movies to understand shit is not fun when I don't like Miller or Momoa or the kid from Santa Clarita Diet who's gonna be in the Superman movie please I don't wanna watch THOSE to watch the shit I want to see (Blue Beetle, I will watch you soon). I wanna watch Titans lmao

OMG BUT TIM WAS SUPPOSED TO BE APART OF THE SPIN-OFF 😭😭😭 That's part of why I'm so angry. Jason is my favorite batfam member, immediately followed by Tim. And those two don't get along often in comics so ya know, the show was NICE and the spinoff could have been EVEN BETTER. (I also just adore Jay as Tim. He will also be MY Tim Drake). I could actually write a whole think piece of morality of Dick and Jason IN Titans lmao because yes the fight scenes were ALWAYS so good (I love the one in the alley in season 1 episode 1 with Dick as Robin idk and Dick and Jason's fight in the words in season 3 episode 4) but yeah no they did such a good job with showing how they can pull their punches but also fight to the death if they really need to but that doesn't make either of them bad. For both of them, it's about the greater good and they just have different viewpoints of what that means because they're both absolutely fucked up (which is also great because it goes the same in the comics and it makes them SO MUCH more interesting as characters). It shows no one is all good and no one is all bad.

jfghdfgfh omg it took so long!!!!! I hope you enjoy season 4!! It definitely wasn't as good as 2 or 3 imo but it was fun!! Episode 9 is really good!! I still smile like an idiot whenever I think about that episode with Jason lmao Tim finally gets his Robin suit thinking he's hot shit and Jason's like "Dude is gonna get his dumbass fucking killed LOL". Episode lives rent-free in my mind forever

Same though!! I need to know like what he did ?? Did he reach out to Dawn to offer an apology?? Did Tim tell Jason he met Hank when he died?? I don't know how he'd ever get over the guilt but I'd love to see the angst that could have brought us!! I wasn't a huge Hank fan but I was still jaw on the floor shocked when it happened and I felt so bad for him skdfh like poor Hank he didn't deserve to be exploded

Know Yourself:

probably the way that Jay forces Jason and Tim to re-examine not only each other, but themselves? Like, of course Jay was going to make Jason take a closer look at himself. Of course Jay was going to make Tim take a closer look at Jason. But I really like the way that Jason also re-evaluates his idea of Tim and Tim also takes a closer look at who he is. also, the way Jason and Tim are slowly, slowly breaking down each other's walls and getting closer, the way it's messy and not easy but they keep trying to do it anyways because they both just need each other so badly, even if they don't want to admit it yet. I love making them messy and totally unable to resist each other 💖 and making them in denial about their feelings in totally different ways is also so much fun 😂

Don't Fall Into My Arms:

look, I just love giving them a good argument born from the fear that they're going to lose each other. I love when Tim gets a chance to cry, and I love that seeing him cry totally snaps Jason out of being angry because he realizes that Tim isn't just mad, he's afraid. But my favorite thing probably has to be that Jason just sort of traps himself into admitting that he considered them to be dating, and then he doubles down on it. He's like, "You know what? Yeah. We're dating. I love you." and as much as I love when Jason runs from the things he's afraid of and refuses to talk about things, I really enjoyed that in this, the thing he was the most afraid of was losing Tim, and instead of running he let himself be vulnerable.

I Know What My Brother Is:

oh, bestie. I am ALSO feral about this one. I am currently at 34k words on it and I'm just trying to resist the urge to upload all of it because I'm doing something I've never done before, which is just let myself write without worrying too much about the exact details of the plot, so I want the padding of the extra chapters just in case I get stuck. This is a chokehold fic, like. I can't write ANYTHING else right now because every time I try to think about writing I just get stuck on this one. Okay, my favorite thing about it. I'm really, really loving writing in Damian's headspace. There's something about writing from his perspective that activates literal poetry in me, and I'm really loving it. I feel like when I write Tim, he tends to be very deadpan and guarded, and Jason is always pretty honest and casual in his own head, but Damian? Damian is so dramatic and conflicted and sad and angry. I love making his anger this calm thing that he just lives with, because he's always lived with it. He's falling apart and writing him so deeply unwell is making some of my favorite lines I've ever written fall out of me. Also, every time I think that I've made him as deeply unwell as I could possibly make him, I find a new way to make him worse 😂 Don't worry, you'll see 💖
