🆘: How do you let (S/I) know that they’re on your mind when you’re someplace crowded?

“Quentin likes to stay close to me, so even when I tell him to go talk to people, he tends to come back to me in just a few minutes haha. He’s just as clingy as our dogs. So no matter what I’m doing, I make sure to lean in close to him when he rests his head on me or holds my hand. Give him a kiss or two. I don’t actually mind public displays of affection, despite sometimes joking with him about it. He’s very devoted and sweet.”

🧸: What does your bed look like? Is it just you and (S/I)? Are there stuffed animals? How many blankets and pillows do you have? Do you prefer the bed to be hot or cold?

“Oh, this one is a big question. Quentin is… very particular about how he needs to sleep. He not only has a bunch of stuffed animals, but he needs three pillows just for him. He also likes the room to be cold, but him to be nice and warm (but not too hot) under his huge pile of blankets. He also stretches out and moves limbs to colder parts of the bed when he overheats. Luckily, I don’t mind. If I’m being honest, having him near me is more than worth anything like that. Plus, he’s an incredibly heavy sleeper, so sometimes I’ll stroke his hair or snuggle in close, and he smiles in his sleep. Er, is that off topic?”

👾: What are your favorite things to do with (S/I)? Who’s better at them?

“I’ve been trying to teach him magic, and I’m definitely better at that. He does hand-to-hand combat and attacks on the front lines, and I do a lot of healing magic… safe to say, I’m much better when it comes to magic. To be fair to him, though, he’s better with close range physical attacks. We also enjoy going out and getting food, and nice dates, which isn’t really something that can be a competition. Unless it comes to how fast we eat. Quentin eats super slowly, and almost always leaves with food left over.”

🎃: Are you or (S/I) artsy at all? Do you ever hand-make things for each other?

“I had to think about this one a little bit. Sometimes we do stuff together like trying out painting or pottery, and he’s enjoyed it. Now that I’ve had free time after… everything, I’ve been trying out a lot of things, including artistic ones. So Quentin gets a lot of the things that I make.”

“Thank you for the ask! This one’s easy for me. For something practical, definitely potions of healing. He acts like it’s impossible not to run headfirst into danger. I can heal him when I’m around, but I can also convince him that danger isn’t worth it when I’m around. [Sigh]. I love his altruism and willingness to help anyone, but it gets him into a lot of trouble. He appreciates the potions, since he knows that it’s just a matter of time before he ends up doing something like that again. He appreciates them, since he hates pain.

“For something more for enjoyment, a stuffed toy. I’ll grab any cute one. We have a lot of pets, but he loves the plush animals, too. He likes to snuggle with them to fall asleep. It’s very sweet. (I also make sure to get him a nice present, too, whenever I get him a practical one. Getting things makes him feel very loved.) -Shadowheart
