Sonamy Telenovella AU Idea I just had

main dramatic romance is Sonamy, the dynamic is similar to idw, where they know eachother and are friends, Amy likes sonic and sonic thinks he might like Amy back, but sonic doesn't handle it well, and they're both kind of awkward, but there's sparks sometimes, they eventually go on a few dates, sonic is fidgety and nervous of course, and Amy likes him for who he is and doesn't get mad when he fails socially

Eggman is an ex government (GUN) weapons manufacturer that got fired for war crimes or something, he wants Amy's family jewels the chaos emeralds, eggman also killed Maria which makes shadow and Rouge try to take him down, they are detective partners that work for the chaotix agency, metal sonic wants Amy to themselves, and Knuckles is Amy's big brother and has a security job at the Rose mansion guarding the emeralds, Tails is sonics little brother and works for Eggman without knowing that Eggman is evil (insomniac doc oc style), Knuckles and Tails helped Amy get sonic to agree to dates, Metal Sonic works with Eggman to keep the Detectives from arresting him for killing Maria, and also wants Amy so they can get the emeralds

knuckles and Rouge have a secret love interest, shadow is a lone wolf that does things his way and doesn't care about the law, just wants revenge, and sonic used to work for Chaotix, but quit, Rouge is always trying to get sonic to rejoin, and sonic doesn't want to

Maria was a kind woman of eggmans age who took shadow in as he was a lost orphan, Eggman killed Maria because she had reported his actions to the chaotix multiple times

(update:) Blaze is the mayor of the town, and silver has a romantic sub plot with espio, idk what silvers role in the story is yet, maybe he can be a bartender or something, espio visits the bar because being a lieutenant is stressful or something, also Rouge may or may not be a GUN spy sent undercover as a detective to keep track of Eggman, and also may or may not double cross the government to invade the Rose mansion and steal the jewels for herself ;)

I came up with all of this while listening to Soranda Guitar's sonic covers

this one would be the "previously on [Sonic Telenovella Name]" screen

this one would be sonic and Amy's first date

and I imagine this one being shadow and Rouge having a shootout against Metal Sonic with a Tommy gun for some reason lol

DC supervillain of the week who traps the justice league(in their league disguises) in a reality tv show like love island. it airs on tv and everything like they use supervillain powers to forcefully broadcast "love island: justice league edition" while the supers have to try and figure out how to escape. during a personal squabble wondy steps up and says "everyone calm down, we're all a team, we each have our strengths and weaknesses, we need to work together to solve this" and then it cuts to her talking head segment and she says "im not a fan of green lantern."

Back in winter 2022 I started working on a comic of one of my favorite nsfw oneshots, Practical Demonstration, made like five pages, and then promptly dropped it cause I was still in the midst of Art Block From Hell, among other reasons

but the fic series recently got an update and I read it on a flight last week, which has renewed the brainworms :)

The comic's FAR from finished (I've thumbnailed the entire thing and it comes out to twenty-eight pages, while I have thirteen of those pages in varying stages of completion) but I've been having a lot of fun working on it and forcing myself to try and learn new things (backgrounds/environments, in this case) in the pursuit of Harvey Smut LOL

I thought I'd post some WIP shit here, in case ADHD gets my ass and I end up dropping it again 😭 pray for me

hi y'all, i just want to make a small announcement since it's been bothering me for quite some time.

aughh 😭 as much as my fanfic (again &. again) took inspiration from other series' (ex: not [], glass bones and paper skin, ain't no sunshine)— i'd also appreciate it sometimes if some people would credit me by tag or at least tell in their author's note that some scenes or parts of their fanfics (which i know was exclusively depicted in my work) are inspired or was taken out from my own works to be written in their own fanfics. because sometimes, i'm out here reading something then i'm suddenly like, "wait, didn't i write about this?"

this is not me saying that i'm entitled to my own portrayals of the family or the scenes itself!!! this is me saying that some original ideas of mine felt taken and placed into other original fics, which is not that big of a deal, alright?— but there're some fics that seem so eerily similar to mine, i could've mistaken it as mine.

don't take it negatively, though! i'm not going to tag any other authors because i love reading their fanfics too and reposting it in my other private blog to reread again; but sometimes the line between what i've written blurs into theirs. and i've noticed it for the past few months. it is one of the reasons why i sometimes go into hiatus due to the lack of inspiration i've had right after noticing the patterns; to the point i almost discontinued the series altogether.

again, if any readers notice any writers doing so, don't attack them. this is just a small psa i'd like to say because i don't wish to stay silent about it anymore. no, this is not a message out of pettiness, i've talked to other friends regarding this matter too.

i'm not that offended over it, btw. i'm actually glad that people find inspiration off of my writing, but there's really times where it just bothers me when the things i write become too similar to others too.

Scraps, a particularly lonely toon made of pom poms and paper, desperately wishes for a friend who shares her interests. Yes, she has friends, and she’s very grateful for them, but few of them enjoy the same things she does, and everyone else seems to either have a best friend to talk to or they seem fine being alone, unlike her. Desperately craving for someone who would never leave her side, she comes up with an imaginary friend/brother, “Goob”. A craft, like her, made of fabric and stuffing who loves hugs, whose favorite color is blue, and who loves hanging out with his sister more than anything. She gets so attached to him in fact that she becomes desperate to make him real, even if he isn’t technically alive. After a particularly rough day, she decides to cave in and create a life sized replica of the fluffy craft using her fabric hoarde, stuffing, and a pair of googly eyes. Little does she know, something wonderful is about to happen.

This- AU? Mini comic? Idk what to even call this (Someone tell me if this would be considered an AU I’ve never done this before-) Will be a multi page mini comic revolving around my headcanon that Scraps made Goob because she wanted someone who shared her interests. It takes place before the events of the game so there’s nothing about like Twisteds or anything. I don’t exactly know how many pages this will be. It’s VERY self indulgent so uh yeah. It starts off a bit sad but it has a happy ending.

Also small warning, I’ve never worked on a comic more than 1 page and especially a more serious one so it may be absolutely garbage idk. Also thank my best friend for this existing he wanted me to make it after I mentioned it, also he’s kind of my co-editor since he helped me with the dialogue and such.
