as someone with an instagram account: it is SO HARD to link back to things on the app. no link works in comment sections, therefore most "credit" is just your handle at the end of a long caption :(

not necessarily a link. and i cant stop u but while i do think the long ig captions before the credit is kinda tacky lol, i lack the omnipotence to police how ppl repost my stuff on platforms i dont use. so i request they credit me as the bare minimum

uh also? if things are marked as commissions or are from my nsfw? please do not EVER repost those! commissions belong to someone else who paid for them, and i want more control over where my nsfw is shown!

Are you okay with your art being reposted with credit?

someday ill type this up in an faq i swear.

short answer: no. please dont.

long answer: i really don’t like reposts on tumblr and twitter because i have accounts there, so id rather ppl just interact with my art rather than a repost (bluesky too, though ill admit i fell behind on posting there oops).

on instagram, i guess its okay since i don’t have an account there, as long as its with credit leading to my stuff on other platforms.

all of this comes with the huge disclaimer that many artists do not like their stuff reposted, even with credit. so thank you for asking, and pls never repost other ppls work without permission
