YIPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEE PRICELESS IS SO GOOD RIGHT... LOVE THE ENDING FOR THAT... and very much anticipating First Penguin's... which I am DETERMINED to continued today... I feel bad for falling behind because I ended up binging a whole anime yesterday since the secondary protagonist was based on Tsutsumi and lost track of Fucking Everything 😭😭😭he is so cute though😚
OH BUT YEAH I played DQXI's demo [the first ten hours of the game or so]... yeaaahhhh... definitely that kind of game for me too... but I hope whenever you get back to it you have a good time! I may not know a thing about Metroid but I am also happy to hear it was an enjoyable experience overall :] I enjoy the tag rambles very much :]
REGARDLESS... EPIC... I HOPE YOU ENJOY SP... OR AT THE VERY LEAST I HOPE YOU CAN STICK WITH IT UNTIL IT BECOMES ENJOYABLE...
AND YOU'RE JUST NOT GOING TO DROP THE TITLE so mean telling me about all these interesting things to watch and not sharin the title (;´༎ຶД༎ຶ`)
TEN HOURS FOR THE DEMO ??? long as hell demo... OH BUT NO i love the games a lot !! ive followed the series for a while since. i do have that dragon ball/toriyama fanatic in me unfortunately even if i dont like toriyama himself ☠️☠️ i only really got to actually start one of the games last year when my bro got DQXI for me and ive been loving it so far (* ̄▽ ̄*)ミ|Ю
i've BEEN enjoying it so far !! i'm just about to start episode four tho i AM gonna lose my mind if this hospital arc goes on one more episode bro this half the series already ☠️
#snap chats#joking of course.... haha unless--#if this is the chara you mean then he seems like a nice fellow :) i trust his vibes already..... he seems like a chara i'd like...#OH BUT PRICELESS WAS SOOOO GOOD AND SO LOVELY TYSM AGAIN FOR RECCING IT... i hope you enjoy the rest of first penguin !!!!!#NO WORRIES BOUT RUSHIN IT fair nuff theres no deadline !!!! id rather you take your time and enjoy it on your own terms anyhow :)#but SPEEEAAKING of DQ im actually playing it rn LMAO. i only stopped last year cause i just had an awful exp with a boss#and then i got busy with Life but itd been bothering me that i just stopped so i finally decide to get back into it#the boss wasnt even that hard this time around... tho i think thats just cause i went in Prepared this time ☠️#i dont remember why my bro got me DQXI.. i think he was just using some gamestop deal he had and got himself something too..#NOOO UGH i dont know if its in the demo but the boss was arachtagon and he's who i thought of while making that ichi and masato comic LMAO#of course i couldnt reference that fight since.... that wasnt the DQ game of the time... but still we get the point i think...#nono i love dragon quest and playing it's something i'm happy i finally get to do#it definitely requires you to think a lot more and be more careful with what you do#i mean itd PRRROOBBBABLY be easier if i did sidequests but i have a terrible tendency to wanna finish the game first...#in any case. i am playing it while watching SP because i was thinking of the next part of the game and was stuck on it#and when i looked up where to go i was like 'no i already checked that spot' and i was just gonna leave it at that but now i cant stop#but i ALSO really wanted to watch SP today but fortunately i can multitask#not like i need to pay a LOT of attention to dq rn.. im just grinding. cause im broke ☠️#oh but im glad you enjoy the tag rambles :) i have too many thoughts for my own good#like how when i was at the game store i saw DQ treasures AND metroid dread AND the megaman battlenetwork collection..#i was fighting real demons that day not to empty my wallet....#luckily my bro was with me so i felt like him being there was a way to keep me in check. even if he prob wouldnt have opposed ( ̄▽ ̄;;)#IN ANY CASE. i have multiple medias to consume lest i let The Thoughts take over my brain again for even a second ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶#inoue's chara is so funny like He's Super Human um doc... i think he's just autistic lowkey..... he still a baller regardless tho

Been gone for a while bc irl got busy but now I am back and I am screeching - there's so much good food on this blog I'm sobbing in bliss. My trio living the best life. It's been too long 😭
The look they share before tag teaming Elesa. That whole conversation, corny but so soff and the jegqidbwjsidhia AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Elesa hitting record as she is attacked by loving boyfriends 😂 Emmet accusing Ingo of being too paranoid.😂
The bunny buns for the new year. 🐇 🥺 💕
Going back to stare some more. Will hopefully be back to scream again soon.
Thank you for the effort you put into the art. (I've read that fic, you can write too? Your talent is unreal 😳🤯)
💜
Hello again, Purple! Glad your back to experience some of the Nimbasa trio living their best life
(We ignore PLA like the plague)
Also it's alright, can pretty much understand since I've also been busy irl too, (college amirite?)
I like my sweet stuff but that comic was hard for me to write especially Ingo's part since like Emmet, I am really not good with words at ALL. XD Had to actually ask Google for help on how to not make it too corny.
(And yes, I do write! Not that great though, since with my slowness and English not being my first language and all, currently working on the chapter rn xD)

WAHHH WHAT A SWEET RESPONSE!!! 😭😭 my heart is so full to hear from you again as well omg!! 🥺 (super late response again bc honestly im having trouble juggling multiple things rn agsvghf 😭)
the boueibu fandom is one of the most accepting and encouraging creative communities ive ever been in, which is what kept me motivated to create so much work for it and im super grateful for that as well!! although it was sometimes overwhelming for me, those times of everyone getting excited and reacting to everything were super exciting to be part of and im absolutely glad i was there for it! and no kidding i am SO HAPPY you still remember kittykoya all these years later!!!! \>//////</💕💕💕
WAAAAUGHHH 😭😭😭😭 when you said KINAKO??? such a cute ship! it made my heart so happy!!!!!! \;;~~~~~~;;/💖💖💖 it made me sooo happy you actually scrolled through my comics and your heart got happy from reading them! >/////< this made me go look at them and imagine someone else reading them and it made my heart happy too!!! /)///////(\💕💕💕 thank you so much for such a cute reaction omg!! ;;//////;;💖
(oghvjs i watched happy kiss but ive honestly forgotten most of it, i personally don't think you're missing much bc it was mostly a rehash with a new group of characters, but they did have their own charms as well) yes the creative team has made a few other shows! ;;w;; which are all.. unique in that special boueibu vibes way LMAO;;; i actually just got the dvd sets for their last two shows and im super excited to own them!! (even though.. i don't understand them bc of the lack of subtitles ;;; i would have.. been so happy with japanese subtitles bc then i could look up the words, but apparently anime dvds don't usually come with subtitles even in japanese ;;)
gekkan mousou kagaku is the one that was airing when i wrote that reply, the characters transform into furries and have saturday morning cartoon wacky hijinks with a random and wtf feel to the humor. it isn't too focused on shipping and ive heard some say it feels like it's for a younger audience , so it's probably the show that people have been least interested in (im one of the only people in the fandom orz..) but i really enjoyed it and find it cozy ;;;;; (....partly bc i fell into a ship ..... that wasn't canon ..... idk if i might start reblogging my furry ship art here ;;;;; it's awkward bc the characters have a huge age gap in human form but THEY TURN INTO GIANT FURRY MEN.... one of them is a buff kitty ;;;; but my favorite is the boy who turns into a giant cow) ok that aside HAVE YOU HEARD BOUEIBU IS BACK?!!! \;;O;;/ they are making a new movie next year and they have just opened preregistrations for this cute new browser game!! ;;W;; it looks like it'll be tower defense with a gacha element??? i want akoya!! ;;w;; im so excited to play!! ;;/////;; I AM SO HAPPY to hear things are so WONDERFUL for you OMG!!! \;;W;;/ this is truly so inspiring!! im so happy you have a job you love so much now omg!! ;;w;; i also wish i could go back and tell myself everything would be okay back then, but seeing how everything worked out since then gives me reassurance going forward. thank you so much for such sweet wishes, im so happy you kept hanging on and are getting to live your dreams now!! \;;W;;/ AND YOU ARE MARRIED OMG!!! OMG CONGRATULATIONS!!! ;;W;; i hope you had a wonderful honeymoon waaa!!! >/////< you totally deserve to finally have one!! ;;w;; and you are even buying a house omg?!! you are living the dream!! i can't imagine how busy you must be, but i hope you settle in comfortably and have the life you want with the people you most want to be with!! im so happy for you!! \;;W;;/
TBH I totally forgot I had a tumblr account until like... a few weeks ago. Holy shit reading all my old reblogs and posts is a time capsule. I didn't really have a niche until the boueibu fandom, and man, what an experience that was. Is anyone from back then still here?
I'm debating on curating a new feed on this blog or if I'll create a new sideblog for my new interests, or perhaps I won't use tumblr at all still. But uh, just in case anyone is still here and I pop up on your dash, might as well reintroduce myself: I'm Cupkayke! (Also known as KaykeBitez or Kelsey). Since I last logged into this blog I have left my retail job, went into marketing, got married, and a whole bunch of other shit. I'm still really into Tokyo Mew Mew (ESPECIALLY THE REBOOT AHHH) but my major fandom at the moment is Baldur's Gate 3. I was big into BNHA for a hot minute but that's kind of fallen by the wayside now that the sassy vampire and the entirety of the Sword Coast have taken over my brain. Am I back? Maybe. But anyway. Hello again tumblr!
#reblog#reply#(i edited this so it didn't say 'cries' so much bc i worried it sounded sad sorry i was actually just being dramatic)

#Rory rambles#kind of a rage post tbh#I’m 17 and I turn 18 in 4 months so seeing that every single goddamn WCRP is 18+ pisses me off /neg#Granted maybe i should be glad I can’t get into any because the WCRP community is a toxic cesspool that drags me back into its depths#I’m so busy I shouldn’t be thinking about wcrps rn#Like I just left a good WCRP because of how inactive I am#Maybe I should just make a comic instead

Song of Resistance: Frostborn Loyalty by TheOpticalMouse
Song of Resistance: Flames of Defiance by StrangeDiamond

They should be read together!!, includes a lot of other beloved characters, they're actually selling a book for it with illustrations by @f-ai-n and I'm planning on getting it (if it weren't for the shipping fee that costs more than the book). There's a specific order to read the chapters to make both stories fit together, please take the time to read it!
The Burden Of Memories by The Optical Mouse // series // DILUC GETS AMNESIA bc of the abyss AND THINKS KAEYA IS STILL HIS BROTHER. A LOT OF ANGST. WHAT MORE DO YOU NEED?? made me sob at 2am twice.
Watcher of the Night by nacaratskies // series // the reincarnation-turn back time AU with Diluc. He dies at 22, wakes again as a 17 y/o. Everyone notices he's changed. 17 y/o kaeya is worried but diluc doesn't give af. (lots of angst and screaming. poor kaeya, poor diluc, poor everyone, made me cry)
no love lost, not for him by li2 // series // familial hanahaki disease with Kaeya who doesn't believe he's loved and is dying from it. lots of comfort, unreliable narrator
Lost in the Underground by Quontice // series // for the horror lovers out there <3 Kaeya goes missing and something sinister lurks underground. Diluc tries to find him.
Home is Where my Brother Lays by Trashbin2020 // series // I CRIED. Two different timelines crashing. Kaeya "dies" and "lives again" in a world where Cavalry Captain Diluc lost his brother. Whereas, Diluc is desperate to get him back.
[COMIC] Voices in Ice and Snow by 4dango // art, comic // albedo gets corrupted by during, angst and action. made me love albedo, and fall for diluc even more.
The call is coming by actualromeo // fic // what if the chasm quest which affected the hilichurls also affected kaeya?
And here are some similar works that I've yet to finish but has the potential of being a favorite:
Oh, How Inconvenient by DiamondDove / series
The Rise of Diluc Ragnvindr by @richardgraysonpercyjackson / 4 arcs, a rollercoaster
Can Everyone in Mondstadt Just CHILL OUT For a Second?? by Anonemoni / series

Ahoy, Ladies! (Steve Harrington x Reader)
Word Count: 1,360
Pairing: Steve Harrington x Reader
Summary: After being gone for 6 weeks to visit some family, your mom drags you to the new Starcourt Mall where your friend and crush Steve is at his new job.
Warning: Fluff and making fun of Steve, also small SEASON 3 SPOILERS
A/N: I watched season 3 of stranger things and i just have so many feelings for Steve rn so this is happening lol
Part 2
“You excited to be back home?”
You look up from your issue of “Green Arrow” to see your mom looking at you from the corner of her eye. You had been away for 6 weeks visiting family in Nevada, suffering in the heat and being nowhere near the bright lights of Las Vegas. It was completely awful but your parents had forced you to leave behind your friends to shrivel up in the intense Nevada sun.
But now your back, right before the fourth of July and you are so excited to be back home in Hawkins, Indiana. You’ve missed the small town.
“Yeah, I am.” You say with a smile.
“I’m glad. Before we go home I need to make a stop at Starcourt.”
“The new mall?”
“Yeah, your grandpa was asking about new shoes and has been busy so I’m gonna run around and look for a pair for him. Why don’t you check the mall out? You missed the opening while you were in Nevada visiting Uncle Hector and Aunt Suzie.” Your mom explained.
You let out a sigh and look back down at your comic book, “Okay.”
Your mom pulled into the mall parking lot, it was already packed with cars and families all happy excited for the new mall. You and your mom piled out of the car and walked into the mall. Your mom said she might be a while so you both planned to meet in the opening in an hour.
Looking around at the full mall, all the people and loud talking was starting to give you a headache so you decided to just anchor down somewhere until the hour was up. With a throb in your head, you looked around before your eyes landed on a sign for Scoops Ahoy. Ice cream probably won’t help the situation but you could sit there and read your comics for a while until your mom was done.
You walked into the shop, lots of kids and teens eating ice cream and drinking milkshakes were sitting around. Behind the counter was a tall brunette with his back turned as he talked to a girl holding a whiteboard with some scoring on it. Even with his back turned, you’d recognize that big mop of hair anywhere as your best friend Steve Harrington, your best friend and crush. You grow a sneaky smile on your face as you walk to the counter and ring the bell.
“Customer, Popeye.” The girl said, pointing to you. You could hear Steve sigh and tug on a ridiculous sailor’s cap on before turning around. His eyes were closed as he walked up to the register.
“Ahoy, welcome to Scoops Ahoy. I’ll be your captain on this adventure to flavor. Care to try our new Red Cherry Sea flavor?” Steve only then opened his eyes to see you standing on the other side of the counter. His eyes widened on you, seeming like he can’t believe you standing in front of him. It makes you giggle as you eye his new look as well.
“Nice uniform, Ishmael. Find your white whale yet?” you ask, smiling wide at your own joke. Steve was still frozen as you stood there laughing at him, his mind not knowing what to do. You had left weeks ago to visit family out of state and he had missed you like crazy. Now here you were, standing in front of him with a great tan and a huge smile that was too busy making his heart race.
“Y/N?” Steve asked, still not sure you were even there.
You raised your hands in a “jazz hands” gesture, “Ta-da!”
“You’re back!” Steve smiled and came around the counter and pulled you into a huge hug, his arms tight around your body. You hugged back just as hard, your face warm with the affection. “When did you get back?”
“Today, my mom needed to stop here quickly so I’m just waiting around for her.” You explain. You two pull apart, Steve’s hands moving to your waist and yours to his shoulders.
“I am so glad your back. You have no idea how much it sucked with you being gone. Plus Dustin has been at science camp too so I have been stuck with the other kids.”
“Aw,” You pinch his cheek, “Poor you.”
“Are you two done?” Both you and Steve turn to the girl in the window, a bored look on her face. “This display of affection is more sickening sweet than the ice cream.”
Steve rolled his eyes and points to the girl, “Y/N, this is Robin.”
“Hey.” You say, waving at her. She nods and closes the window pane, leaving you and Steve to yourselves. “Well then.”
“Don’t worry about her. How was Nevada? Sick tan, by the way.”
“Thanks, and it was hot and dry. No fun whatsoever.” You explain, leaning against the counter as Steve moves back around.
“Bet it was better than scooping ice cream 5 days a week.” He says, also leaning on the counter. Your faces are only a few inches apart.
“You might be right. Especially if I had to wear that get-up.” You said with a smile. Besides him being made fun of, Steve smiles back; just glad to have you back. “So, you and Robin?”
“What?”
“Anything you should tell me?”
Steve gets a disgusting look on his face and shakes his head, “Me and Robin? Gross, she hates me and says I suck all the time.”
“Well...” You started, smiling when you saw the shocked look on his face. “I’m kidding.”
“There is no me and Robin. Why? You jealous or something?”
Your face heats up, flushed with being found out despite your joking around. “What? N-no.”
“You totally were!” Steve yells, pointing at you and starting to laugh.
“Stop it!” You yell, trying to reach over and slap his arm as he kept laughing. People were starting to look at you two and your face was getting more and more red. Finally, Steve calms down enough to start talking again.
“You don’t need to worry. No one could steal me from you.”
You freeze as you stare at Steve. What did he just say? As you’re questioning what you heard, Steve freezes wide-eyed at what he had just said.
“Th-That came out wrong. It’s not like-like you have me. What? No, that’s not what I meant. No one has been stolen. Oh god.” Steve puts his head in his hands, defeated by his own words. Seeing him like that finally pulls you back to the moment.
“Steve,” He looks up and a look of regret comes over his face, “What did you mean that ‘No one could steal you from me’?” you ask.
“I-” Steve takes a breath, Now or never, “I was just saying that no one could, no one could take me away from you. I’m in too deep for someone to do that.”
You stand there, heart beating and palms sweating, not knowing what to do about this. Steve Harrington had just confessed, to you! You never thought that this could happen, putting very little stock in him looking your way like that.
“Hello? Y/N?” Steve asked, waving a hand in front of your face. You slowly blinked as Steve sighed and looked down to the counter. “Dammit, I ruined everything. Can we just forget that thi-”
Before he could finish, you pulled on his uniform ribbon to make him lurch forward and pressed your lips to his. With your eyes closed, you didn’t get the chance to see Steve’s wide eyes, but he slowly closes his eyes and grabs your face, pulling you closer. You pull back once you were out of breath, both you and Steve breathing heavy as you looked at each other.
“Wow.” Steve says, his eyes not moving from you.
“Yeah.”
“That wasn’t on the menu.”
You laugh as Steve smiles. “No, but I hope you wouldn’t mind giving me another helping?”
“With pleasure.” Steve takes initiative and grabs your face this time, pulling you into another kiss. Man, you were glad your mom had to come to the mall.

thanks
it should all be updated now!! ty!!
dkjfkfdj god im glad. theres like.... 50 million adri asks in my inbox rn and idk when theyre from or what theyre referring to but just know i love u all a lot and the fact that you like him this much makes my day every day ty yall
im glad you like her!! i havent had much of a chance to draw her, esp. since i mostly use her to represent myself, but eventually I might :’) sorry i cant give a more specific answer im definitely planning on redoing her ref sheet though... at some point
yea
we’re doing PRETTY GOOD ive got a lot of his story down and ive finally, after THREE YEARS. nailed down the lore in a good way so its all dandy and ive been really good!! busy with irl stuff and visiting my friends and doing a lot of cool things, ive honestly never been better -w-
as of right now though, adri’s been in timeout for about two weeks and i am seriously holding back from drawing him so i can focus on other ocs and other projects kjsdkjlshsj but you guys won’t really catch the timeout I guess since im going to be spamming art for the next 10 days (both of him and other ocs though. but you probably wont catch him on timeout is what im saying. not that i havent kept yall on timeout for 3 months whoops)
god i didnt even think anyone remembered nulll.... ty my dude. i actually came across all my old art of him the past couple days bc i was organizing all my files and yknow, i might bring him back at some point (but dont hold your breath...... im notorious for forgetting these types of promises)
IM SORRY IM SO VERY LATE ANSWERING THIS BUT THANK YOU SO MUCH THIS LITERALLY MEANS THE WORLD TO ME IM !!!! [SADCAT EMOJI]
youll be.......... happy to know im starting another comic though (dont worry, i probably wont leave this one half done. its been in development for 6+ years kljhksjdfhskjghl)
my art tag up to now consists almost entirely of art made on firealpaca! its a free, lightweight and versatile program and ive drawn on it for years. I recently bought CSP since im going to be a lot more serious about my art now, and I also got to a point in firealpaca where id already learned how to do mostly everything and the limited brush engine was holding me back, so i waited for CSP to go on sale and WOW it is absolutely amazing, theres SO MANY tools and brushes you can download for free, its literally mindblowing. i really really recommend it if you’re willing to put the money in
i do know of other free programs that you could use though! there’s medibang paint, its also very powerful however for me it was really counterintuitive to learn
and there’s KRITA as well which has several brush engines instead of just one !
theres mischief, its a program that uses vectors to draw so you could infinitely scale your drawing up or down and never lose quality. its a paid program but there’s a free version, the only problem is that it only lets you have one layer
_____________________________________________________________
OKAY thats all the like... asks that i can actually give an answer to. the others I either dont know how to respond, dont require an answer or the like, but i promise ive read every one of them! !
im going to clear my inbox now to make space for all the new asks :3 ty yall

My 2017
The end of the year is in sight, and so it is time to, once again, write a long post in which I look back on the past year and get all sentimental and stuff. It’s fun! And since I’ve kinda made an annual tradition out of it, why the fuck not?
I’m gonna be using the same questions/categories as I did last year for maximum comparison (and so I know what to write about), so if you want to read last year’s post, I’ll link it here: (x)
The Beginning of 2017 vs. Now I definately think that there’s a huge difference between the beginning of the year and the end. When this year started, I was sooooo busy with school. I had multiple test weeks coming up and I was behind on almost all my subjects. The stress of all that stuff caused me to feel really unhappy, and apart from that my transition also wasn’t really moving forward. And now? Now I’m five months on T, finished with school, and even though work is still stressfull at the moment and I’m still not really happy, I can say that I’m a lot happier than I was at the beginning of the year. I also feel like at the beginning of the year I was kinda stuck in a negative mindset. I felt lonely all the time, and I had just started to realise that I was a very insecure person and I felt really lonely and busy and isolated and I just wasn’t in a good place, ya know? And I feel like in the past year I’ve become better at dealing with my insecurities and with jealousy, which has increased the value I have of myself, which has definately improved my quality of life.
So, to summarise it: Since the beginning of the year I’ve reached multiple of my goals, reached some milestones and, most importantly, I’ve grown as a person.
Best things about 2017 So many good things happened this year! I don’t even know where to begin, so I’ll try to start with things that happened at the beginning of the year and just see where it leads me. I hope I won’t forget anything lmao.
Okay, so first of all, Voltron season 2, 3 and 4 were all released this year! Three seasons! That’s crazy! I didn’t really enjoy the last two that much, but damn, season 2 was really fun! Other tv shows that got new seasons this year were Stranger Things, Doctor Who (I can’t believe I’ve only finished the tenth doctors seasons this year! I can’t believe I’ve not been into Doctor Who for more than a year! It’s so much funn!!!!), Brooklyn Nine-Nine (which reminds me, I started watching “the good place” this year! Amazing show!), and Sense8! Speaking of sense8, I only started watching it in the beginning of this year, and it has easily become one of my favourite shows ever! I’m so glad I got to watch this show this year!
Then in february, I discovered the band One Ok Rock, which is one of my favourite bands at the moment. It’s crazy to think I haven’t even known them for a year, because they’ve become such an integral part of my music library. And so have Lindsey Stirling and Ed Sheeran by the way! I went to a Lindsey Stirling concert in March and have become a huge fan of her latest album “brave enough” ever since then. And Ed Sheeran’s album “Devide” had some amazing songs on it that I connected with instantly and have helped me through some hard times. I really can’t believe I’ve only been listening to these songs for like nine months or something. It feels like it’s been forever. The same goes for a certain musical genre by the way, but we’ll get into that later!!
Then in may, two amazing things happened, first of all I got to perform on a huge stage with my choir, and met some famous dutch people there! Roel van Velzen for example! That was crazy! We were on TV!!!
The second thing is, I finished my exams and was done with school! This made me feel sooooo much happier. I instantly just felt a lot better and suddenly had time to do stuff I liked, like read and write and play the piano. Honestly, those months (end of may - end of august) were some of the best months I’ve had in a loooong time. I wish I could go back sometimes lmao.
So yeah, I graduated, turned eightteen, went to Ireland for the first time. All of that stuff was amazing. Then, on the 28th of june, I went to the hospital and got one of the best surprises I’ve ever gotten. I COULD FINALLY, FINALLY, GO ON T! If I had to pick my best day of the year, I’d probably choose this day. Testosterone has already improved my life so much and I’ve only been on it for five months. I can’t imagine how much it will change me in the next year and I also can’t wait to find out!!
Oh, and after that, I GOT INTO KPOP! I started really listening to Day6 during my vacation to ireland, but around the end of august/beginning of september, I started to get really really into SHINee, and in extention, to kpop. Honestly, this might sound dramatic, but Day6 and SHINee have added so much to my life. Their music and just their personalities never fail to make me smile, and they bring me comfort when I feel down. Since a few weeks, BTS has also been added to that list. Their music and the members just really mean a lot to me, so I’d say kpop is definately one of the best things that happened to me this year.
Then I got a job in september, and I can’t really remember if anything big has happened since then. The only thing I can really think of is I SAW JACKSEPTICEYE LIVE! That evening was such a fun evening and it was awesome to finally get to see one of my heroes in person and to be in the same room with him and see that he’s actually real, haha. I don’t think I’ve screamed that much anywhere else this year.
Oh, and I also went to my first pride this year! Sadly, I couldn’t stay there very long because of work, but it was amazing and I can’t wait to go again!
I also started my youtube channel this year, which is cool. I really love making content for it, but unfortunately it takes a lot of time that I usually don’t have. I hope I’ll be able to keep it up for another year!
So, I think that’s it for this year. If you look at it like this it’s actually quite a lot of positive stuff! That’s always good.
OH AND HOW COULD I FORGET I went to london with my mom this year! It was only two nights but it was amazing and I had loads of fun there!
And another thing I wanted to add is I feel like I’ve become a lot closer with my friends this past year. I guess that’s just what happens when you know them for a year longer, but idk. We see eachother a lot less than last year and despite that we’ve only become closer and I think that’s a really amazing thing.
OH, and I started to watch the You’re So Brave podcast by Chase Ross & Aaron Ansuini and oh my god have these dudes helped me a lot in the past year. Thank you guys so so much!!!
My resolutions for 2017? I haven’t looked at my resolutions for this year since I posted them last year... oops. But I remember quite a few of them and I believe I’ve achieved some of them so I’m just going to copy-paste them here and adress them all individually
Go on Testosterone, for real this time - Did that!! I went on T on the 28th of July 2017 and am now Five months and Three days on T!
Write more! - .... well I guess I failed that one. I wrote exactly four pages in the past year
Save money and buy new jeans, flannels and hoodies - I did save money, and bought my favourite flannel, hoodie and jeans this year, so I guess that counts
Finish School! - DID THAT
Read a lot of books! - Sadly, I didn’t manage to achieve my reading goal on goodreads. I only read 22 books this year when I wanted to read 35. Last year, I read about the same amount, so I’d count this as a fail.
Stay Hydrated! - Idek if I did this lmao. I did become more aware of what I’m eating and what I should eat more and less to stay healthy, so I’m going to count this as a win
Try to make my tumblr blog a safe and positive place for everyone - I’ll let you guys be the judge of that
Stay positive - I’ve definately tried this, so that’s good enough
Try to be the best person I can be - I’ve become a lot more self aware the past year, and I did find out what my flaws were and how to work on them, so I think I did this.
Fight my insecurities - As I’ve stated in the beginning of this post, I think I’ve become better at dealing with them, so I’d say yeah, I did that!
Reach 200 followers on tumblr!! - Did that! I’ve got about 280 followers now!!
So yeah, overall I think I did pretty good in the past year! Better than I expected at least haha
Expectations for 2018 Okay, let’s see. I’m expecting I’ll keep my job until around june/july. I’ll turn nineteen in june, and I’m going to see Paramore, Markiplier, Ed Sheeran and Dan and Phil live this year! Really looking forward to that!! Then in september I’m going to start university, and I think that I’m going to have Top-Surgery somewhere between september and december of this year. Apart from that I don’t really know what to expect. I think university will be quite easy for me education-wise, and hard social-wise, since I’m not good around strangers and might have some slight social anxiety. But apart from that I don’t really have a clear vision for the future. I am probably going to start learing how to drive so I might get my driver’s liscence this year. Who knows? It’ll be a mystery until I’ve lived it guys.
2018 Resolutions? I am feeling ambitious rn so I’m probably gonna set the bar too high but oh well who cares let’s do this
Finally decide what to study
Get Top-Surgery
Write at least 100 pages of a story
Accomplish my reading challenge on goodreads (I’m gonna try 35 books again)
Start University
Make new friends
Stop with my acting classes
Learn how to drive
Improve my drawing skills (maybe make a comic?)
Reach 300 followers on Tumblr
Get more than 20 subs on Youtube and consistently create content for my channel
Learn Divenire on the Piano
Dye my hair
Continue to shower every day (Hygene is important!)
Start working out/exercising regularely
Get new glasses
And yeah, that’s it! I hope you’ve all enjoyed going along on this journey through my past year with me. Looking back on the past year is always one of my favourite parts of new year’s eve. It’s so good to look back and see all that you’ve accomplished in a year and it just makes me really sentimental and stuff and I like that.
Anyways, I hope you all have a great evening, and I’ll see you guys next year!

“Dope A-F” - 2/25-2/27 - “Thar She Bombs!”
Time to cover a lot of ground in a short amount of time sweet sweet laydees! So let’s hop right into it my sweet little pumpkins!
2/25
I got to Charlottesville a little early for this show. I met up with Colby Knight to grab a burger at Citizen Burger Bar and relax. We talked about his future career in being a pilot, what it’s like to be a comedian going to a super religious school, and all the insanity that comes from going there.
The food was good and then we headed to The Southern. I got there and everything was already set up. Which was dope because I didn’t feel like doing it that night. I go to the bar and get the open mic list started.
Comics start to file in. We end up getting about 26+ comics on the list. I can’t believe how this show has grown. When it started it used to be like 8 to 12 comics a show, and the more experienced comics would be like 10+ minutes to work on their stuff. It’s a give and take. A lot of the time I wish I was getting that amount of time again, and other times I am just loving getting to hang out with 20+ of my friends every week.
A lot of these comics have definitely grown a lot since I met them a year or so ago. They’ve started to go to more open mics since the scene is growing, and also a few of them have started going to Richmond to get on stage more. They’ve also been doing more booked shows, and it is starting to show. They all have a super long way to go, but honestly seeing any type of development in a scene is awesome.
We don't have any drama at this show, but during Chris hosting set this female comic named KB is heckling him. She is trying to have fun, and Chris isn’t being mean to her. He is riffing with he, but he is keeping his cool. This is mainly because he vowed to quit bullying people and not bust balls as much. Which is hilarious because it is what we do. So no more BC (bully Chris) we live in the era of PC (polite Chris). So the running gag all night is I was doing a tally of how many mean things and polite things he was doing. He handles the situation and gets the piggy back show started (this is when the comedian on stage brings up the next comedian and all the host does is work the light).
Everybody is doing ok. Nothing too noticeable or memorable about the first few sets. No one is really bombing, or killing. I am seventh on the show and I have some new that I wanted to work out. The KB lady goes up a couple before me and doesn’t do well at all. It was kind of nice to see someone who was heckling not do well. It was very cathartic to me.
I went up shortly after her and she just spent the first minute sitting in the front row talking loudly. So I used the first minute of my set just addressing it and getting her to pay attention. She eventually does and I go into my new material. Some of it did ok. Like I needed to really work out the wording, which I was able to do with some of it. The big win was I did a joke about a rapist, and that worked the best. I think it’s a good take on it, and doesn’t punch down or mock the victims. So hoping I can work it out and build it into a bigger chunk. I’d give my set a solid C. The response wasn’t what I wanted, but it was definitely one of the more productive sets I’ve had in a while.
I then spent the rest of the night just hanging out and busting balls with my friends. Some people had some good sets though. Paige did well, so did Alex, and Sam Padgett had one of the better sets I’ve heard him have. He has come a long ways, and his work is paying off.
Fun show and a good hang. I grab my stuff, helped clean up, and headed home.
2/26
This was going to be a fun day. The night before I had seen Beau Troxclair and asked if he wanted to get sushi with Alex and I and he said yes. So we show up at Sushi King in Richmond (all you can eat sushi/hibachi place. Great food, reasonable price.)
We get there and we just start gorging ourselves on sushi, fried rice, steak, chicken, shrimp, etc. This is when Beau tells us that he can’t eat sushi, and he is allergic to all fish. Which seems like a thing you should mention before you go to the sushi restaurant. Either way he isn’t worried about it, he wanted to hang, and there is enough non fish on the menu that he will be fine.
As the meal goes on we are having a great conversation about food, comedy, women, improv, and anything in between. We are trying to figure out the order we are trying to do the three open mics that night and Beau starts to get red and swell up. He is like, “yea I think there was cross contamination. I’m going to go get Benadryl.”
So he runs out and Alex and I keep eating. Like 10 minutes goes by and I am starting to worry that Beau died on his way to his car. Right when I mention walking outside to look for him he comes in. He had to walk to a gas station to get Benadryl. The waiter comes over and is like are you ok, and Beau calmly tells him, “I'm just allergic to fish, I probably should have told you that.” The waiters face was great. This was a dope meal.
We go our separate ways for a few hours and then I go pick up Alex and we head to City Dogs. Which will be the first mic we hit of the night. It is usually poorly attended by comics so you can get a longer set. This was not the case tonight. There was a nice little list. There was actually a table of four cville comics who came out (Colby, Abdulla, Keaton Ray, John Marg) I was super stoked and proud to see them.
Ben Braman runs this room and let me know he had me second. I am stoked and ready to get this thing on the road. There is a nice little audience there, but they aren’t there for comedy. They’re standing right next to where we are going to perform and could care less about comedy. Beswick goes up first and goes super high energy while working out new stuff. He basically ends up screaming his closer at the stunned audience members. It was a super fun set to watch.
I go up next and just work on new stuff. I get some laughs from a couple in the front and the comics a little. It is weird to remember that open mics aren’t even about killing at this point. This is work, and that’s what I try to do. I try to work it out. I’d give this a D+ or C-. No real audience response, but I got to try some new stuff. Alex goes next and has a pretty good set as well. His new is good and he is really putting some bows on some great material rn.
We say our goodbyes and head over to Fallout to try and go early over there as well.
We get there and Jesse Jarvis was hosting. He had Alex and I up pretty early. We get a good hang in and the show starts. Beswick has a pretty strong set, and I went up a few after him. I did pretty well here. I’d give it a C. I kept doing new stuff and I dug up an oldie that was on the back burner about the optometrist office. It felt good to bring it back, and try some new things. The people that were there were into it and it felt good. Beau did pretty well and so did Alex. It was definitely a productive mic.
This was the home stretch. It was time to head to Mojos for the last spot. We get there and mic was legit about to end, but he added us just in time. There was almost no one here. Going late at mojos is tough. it is basically just working on wording. I’d give my set a D. I got maybe 2 or 3 laughs and they were in weird spots. It was just me reciting them to a couple of my friends. It was a fun bomb and didn’t even feel bad because I was getting this new done.
I then said goodbye and drove Alex back to his place before heading home. A super fun and productive night full of bombs. Nights like this is what makes you a much better comic. I got 22 minutes of stage time in front of 3 tough crowds. This was invaluable. I don’t think many people other than Alex and I managed to do all 3! Sometimes the grind just feels good.
2/28
I got the call right after work that they needed a host for The Richmond Funny Bone. Even though it was an off night and I was going to do dinner with my family I cancelled because quite frankly I need the money. So I dropped my plans (which I felt like shit about) and headed to meet Dylan Vattelana who let me know about the show in the first place.
I first had to go renew my membership to Costco and order some contacts. I’m glad I have vision insurance, but even with that the cost of contacts is so damn much. Like it is ridiculous what I have to pay to just be able to see. Afterwards I do my fav thing at Costco and buy myself a delicious Churro.
I meet Dylan at Rock Bottom, which is the bar directly above the Funnybone. We talk some business stuff about comedy. Tell a few street jokes, and generally have a super fun time. We talk about some of the very real anxieties I have about the Funny Bone and comedy clubs in general. He gives some good advice, and it means a lot because Dylan is one of the comics I respect the most. When I started about 4 years ago he was already established as one of the best guys in the scene and he has just built on that. He is an excellent writer, and has a drive and determination that I try to match. I love the dude and it is so cool to be able to call him a friend and a peer.
We go downstairs and head to the club. Dylan leaves his notebook and the bartender runs after him. I riff about how ridiculous it would be if he just started acting like she did it to get his number (I have a girlfriend, what are you doing right now?” and then we head inside.
We are greeted by the door guy Wayne and the “voice of the Richmond Funnybone” Buz “with one z”. We shoot the shit and head to the green room until James Lawson gets there. James is a dope local headliner who also gets to go on the road. He always destroys and he has material for everybody. He has always been good to me since I started and I will always appreciate that.
We have a pretty good turnout for a Wednesday. I’d say it was a little over half full so we had about 130+. Which is solid for the middle of the week. They only have 3 servers so people are a little on edge, but overall it looks like it’s going to be a fun night.
I go up first and do some crowd work up top. Which is something I am always scared to do here, because I doubt they want their host to do crowd work. I need to do it more often. It is my greatest asset as a host and I”m dumb when I don’t utilize it. I get some super strong pops up top for my first 5 minutes. Then the mic cuts out during the next couple of minutes and I start to lose them. I then have a lady say my fly is down (which it wasn’t) and that was an awkward situation because I was dumb and didn’t go into her (I didn’t want to set an even weirder tone for the show). I need to follow my instincts. I then closed on my Angel/Devil race joke. It gets an ok reaction and I’d give this set a C-. I did my job and warmed up the crowd, but I had stuck to crowd work I think it would have been even better.
Dylan goes up next and does well, and then after him James absolutely murders for 50+ minutes. He was in his element. He was completely at home and won those people over to a degree I can’t even imagine doing. When someone does that well in a room that makes me so anxious it is inspiring and disheartening at the same time. I can’t picture doing that well. Like legit can not fathom it. After the show I find out I get to host Thursday and Sunday for Cash Levy for sure. This is huge. I need the money and he’s a good comic. I head out and head home to get some other work done. Solid night. I got a check, got to work a club, and got a sweet hang out of it.
That’s it for this installment. I’ll be back tomorrow my sweet apple pies. I’ve got three sets tomorrow and will be zooming all over town. I hope the shows are good, and that I can work out some of this new shit. We shall see. xoxoxo thanks again.

How’d Winston Do This Weekend? 11/2-11/3
What a wild and wacky weekend of wonderful comedy!!! We had a twofer on Friday in Petersburg, and then a bit of a road trip for a shit show at Smith Mt. Lake on Saturday!!!
I love a twofer. Two sets in one night. It’s especially rare when the show isn’t in a huge city. The fact that Petersburg had two shows on Friday is kind of ridiculous, but I am definitely not complaining.
The first was the Off The Rip Improv Showcase at Plaza Mexico Bar and Grill run/hosted by my buddy Mu Cuzzo. I think it was Mu’s first time running a show like this which is pretty neat. I hit him up before the show and asked for a spot. He put me on and let me go first so I could make my second show.
I get there early and get to hang with Mu, his dope girlfriend Paula, and Bryan Williams. I knew Paula before I knew Mu. She used to come out and support a bunch of comedy shows. She’s a pretty dope artist as well. She is a poet, a writer, she makes jewelry, and there’s probably a lot more I’m missing as well. She’s a good influence on Mu, and supportive af. I always enjoy talking to her!
Mu is in a super good mood, because his mom is coming to watch him perform for the first time. This is a super dope moment to watch. When his mother gets there Mu hands her a bouquet of flowers (it’s her birthday) and gives her a huge hug. Shit like this gets me teary eyed. Small stuff like that really touches me in a crazy kind of way.
Mu’s mother is a pretty strong, and awesome woman. Mu told me she’s on city council and when city council tried to knock down city worker’s pay by 10% she told them to take all of her pay. This is a bad ass move. It show’s she gives af about the community, which is rare as hell nowadays.
Had to talk to Bryan about staying in his lane. Bryan is a good dude who means well, but he sometimes gets involved in some stuff on fb he really shouldn’t. I think arguing about stuff on FB is super annoying and pointless (even though I’ve done it.) I just advised him it’d be best to mind his own business and keep his head down and just write/tell jokes. He’s so new he doesn’t need the reputation of a White Knight or argumentative dude on FB. It was about some personal stuff going on in the comedy scene rn so I don’t want to go into it, but it was a good talk.
The room itself is pretty big and spacious. There is a weird divider in the middle of the room. The DJ is set up on one side, and the comics perform on the other. There is a pretty good crowd there, but because the room is so big it doesn’t feel super intimate. Also there's a table of about 11 people behind us that you have to turn around to see. It’s an odd setup, but it works.
Mu went up first and did a good job getting the room ready for comedy. Since the microphone was wireless and he knew a lot of the audience he walked out into them a little bit and did his thing. He got his mom involved a bit, and warmed up the room nicely.
I go up first and have a pretty solid set. I only did crowd work. It did not have the vibe of a crowd that would be into my material. I only did about 5 minutes since I was a guest, but I got his mom involved and his cousin. I had some pretty good lines, and got some big laughs.
All in all I’m glad I went to the show. I’d give my set a B-. After the set I hopped in my car and drove straight to Wabi Sabi.
Wabi Sabi is one of my favorite comedy rooms. It is usually hosted/run by Jason Klingman. Tonight Kenny Wingle was hosting since Jason was at the Brian Wilson concert in Richmond.
This is a room set up for comedy. It is in a basement, has low ceilings, tight seating, brick wall backdrop, separated from rest of the restaurant, and usually has a good crowd. This is not an easy room by any means, but they do reward funny. You have to be willing to work for your laughs. They like jokes and crowd work.
I’ve had some of the best sets of my life at Wabi and I honestly think it’s a room that has made me into the comic I am now. I’m not afraid of any room, and it really helped me build my confidence while doing material or crowd work.
When I got to the show Alex Castagne was on stage and he had a hot one. The room was full, and he was slaughtering. Alex is a funny dude, and a good friend. A real fine jew of a boy.
He gets off and Joshua Horsford goes up. Joshua has been in and out of the comedy scene for a long time. He started well before me, but he also writes/acts so there are times where he is absent from the scene for months. He had a pretty good set and Kenny went back up and did some crowd work in-between him and the next comic.
Next up is Patrick Nowaczyk one of the members of Rich Girls comedy. A comedy troupe that isn’t really doing anything anymore but was full of some of my favorite comics when I started. Pat started out super strong. He was really killing up top, but then he got into some of his longer jokes and they either didn't get them or just didn’t have the attention span for them (which sucks because he did two of my favorite bits he does).
He gets off stage and since it is late about two tables get up to leave. Which is always disconcerting as a comic who is going last on a show.
Bryan showed up to hang out after his set at Mu’s show. When he got there he asked for a guest spot. Kenny came up and asked if it was ok if he went in front of me. I didn’t give a shit. Bryan’s five minutes aren’t going to affect me.
Bryan goes up and really does not have a good set. He caught them when he got on stage, but after that he really let their lack of laughs get to him and he got more and more timid. He just had no confidence and they just weren’t his crowd. After his set about half of the remaining tables leave.
Kenny goes back up and does a little more crowd work to get the crowd back and excited again. Luckily the tables that were left were great audience members.
I go up and just go right into crowd work. They are vibing with me and my energy right away. I do about 25 minutes and I can honestly say I did one joke in the middle (and it worked).
The audience members left were amazing. I had one of the best sets I’ve had in a while. I was jumping back and forth between two large tables of guests, calling back to crowd work, and really getting weird and intimate.
Talked about sex with a mom/dad in front of her daughter who was celebrating her birthday. Talked to another lady about how much she loved to be choked. I had a lot of lines I can’t even remember, but it was a super fun and hot set.
I’d give it an A- and maybe even bump it up to an A.
It was so much fun, and really glad I was booked on this show. After the show I hung with the guys a bit, and then Klingman showed up. We talked about the Brian Wilson show, and I asked to be on next month’s Wabi show (it is the 9th year anniversary and I didn’t want to miss it.) Afterwards I headed home.
Saturday was a fun day. I got to wake up late, and hang out with my niece which is one of my favorite things to do. I also knew I had a good hang on the horizon because I was driving to Lynchburg to meet up with my dude Jake Snyder and ride with him and Paige Campbell to the comedy competition at Heath’s Waterfront Grill at Smith Mtn. Lake.
Once I get to Jake’s we got and grab a bit to eat at Wendy’s next to his house. Someone asks him how tall he is (6′7) and they then reply with, “that ain’t too bad”. I don’t even begin to know wtf that even means.
Paige gets to his apartment and then we hit the road. We are jamming to older metal on the radio, and it legit feels like we are comics in the 80s. Three dudes crammed into a car, driving into the middle of nowhere for some dogshit show and a chance at $250.
We have done this show before, and it actually wasn’t bad. I had a super hot set and won some money. They had us on a real stage, and it was pretty packed out. Definitely more fun that it had any right to be.
This time we show up. The sound system is shit, there is no stage (they have moved us to the corner), very little audience, and the energy is weak af in the room. We all know it is going to suck.
The good thing is there are definitely some folks I love to hang with here. Johnny Camacho (Roanoke comic), Kristinia Montouri (Roanoke comic), Colby Knight (lynchburg/charlottesville guy), Zach Webb (lynchburg comic), and a few others idk at all.
The host Phil Hogan goes first and he just gobbles dick for like 15 minutes. Like it is brutal. Barely any laughs at all, and really isn’t vibing with the crowd. After him he brings up a comic Ron Hebert who also bombs. The next comic is Melissa Douty. I have never seen her before, but her reputation precedes her. She is a local headliner/touring comic. Super likeable and a good joke writer. She has what I consider the best set of the night.
I go up next and in my opinion bomb. I got some good pops, and about 3/4 of my jokes work. I try to engage the crowd, but they aren’t having it at all. I also keep stepping out of the light because it is poorly placed and bright af (I get points deducted because of this).
The best part was in the middle of a setup to one of my jokes that needs people to pay attention a man who has to be 80 rolls in on his mechanical wheelchair. He is making what I can only describe as a comical amount of noise. He is knocking his wheelchair into tables, and the hostess is talking so loud asking him where he is going to sit. The whole time I am just on stage delivering a joke people don’t want to hear just trying my best not to yell at this old dude. HE WHEELS ALL THE WAY TO THE FRONT!!! On the inside I am dying laughing. It felt like it was out of a tv show.
I’d give my set a C-. I just didn’t have it that night.
Melissa Douty comes over and we both compliment each others sets. I definitely respect her as a comic. Super funny lady check her out.
Everybody else goes up and honestly it feels like everybody is bombing. Paige and Jake didn’t do great but also the crowd was shit. Johnny Camacho goes up and does a German Psychic character (that I enjoy) and gets a few good laughs. Lastly a 16 year old kid goes up with a notebook and he does ok. Not bad for a first set ever, and he had a few good ideas.
They are adding up the scores at the end of the show while the host goes back up and plays guitar for an obscene amount of time. We are hanging out in the back and 16 year old is one cocky dude. You can tell he thinks he is a comedic genius. He is trying to bust balls, and be goofy. He asks me if my legs are ok because my jeans are too tight (brilliant roast). A little later he says he’s a bit sleepy because he did a bunch of heroin, so I responded with, “yea and after your set I just wish you had Od’d.” He heard me, but he didn’t respond. He also quit busting balls after that. He did have some funny shit so I hope he continues to go out and work on new stuff. His parents were there, so it was cool to see them support his dream.
They announced Johnny Camacho as the winner. Which blew me away. Not because he isn’t funny, but just because Mellissa Douty got more laughs than all of the other comics combined. I’m happy for Johnny because at least a hack didn’t win, but I felt bad for Melissa because for that room she kind of freaking crushed.
We head back and stop at Sheetz to grab some food. We park back at Jake’s place and start doing our favorite street jokes. Then we all go our separate ways. I head home and start playing tf out of Red Dead Redemption 2! Which is how I spent the rest of my weekend.
WHAT AN AMAZING TIME BAYBEES AND LAYDEES!!! I love you a lot and will catch up with you soon. Keep on trucking everybody! xoxoxo LOVE YOU!!!
