I read all of Kono Koi wo Hoshi ni wa Negawanai by Shinoa and it's been a while since I devoured a manga like this

First of all, Fuyuki is the most beautiful woman I've ever laid my eyes on

Eri's also pretty and I love how they look together. Kisaki's gorgeous too, actually everyone in this manga looks great and I'm a HUGE fan of the artstyle and design choices. It's incredibly pretty and it speaks to me directly

The story's about Fuyuki and Eri who are childhood friends, together with Kyou. Fuyuki's been in love with Eri since they were small and they have an intense and very physical friendship. Then Kyou confesses to Eri and she agrees to go out with him, as long as he accepts that Fuyuki will be the most important person to her and he won't get in the way of their friendship. We have childhood friends turned lovers and a love triangle with a m/f and f/f pair in a yuri manga so you KNOW the women will have to end up together, my beloved! The pining is there!! The crazy codependent relationship is delicious!!!!

Fuyuki ends up seeking comfort and consolation from Kisaki, her senpai, who's in a similar situation to her, having fallen in love with someone she (thinks, but in this case actually) can't have and it's nice to see how she's able to seek comfort from someone else. Yet, when Fuyuki thinks about moving on from Eri and how she might be able to find happiness with someone like her senpai, she simply can't because she's that enamored by Eri. It's very clear that Eri's in love with Fuyuki too, never caring about her boyfriends all that much, always putting Fuyuki first. She simply hasn't realized it yet. The manga talks a lot about the importance of a friend vs. a partner from her point of view and I'm here for it. Why would you have to suddenly ditch your friend whose been there for you all your life, just because you started dating someone?

Kisaki can see through it all and does her best to push the two together, while Fuyuki does her best to support Kyou's attempts to make Eri happy and support her two friends getting together. I love the dynamics a lot. The earnest attempts despite the jealousy. Understanding what's the norm, but also having your own 'normal'. Fuyuki's and Eri's relationship is incredibly close and tender and I can't wait to hopefully see them end up together.

The manga's written for a specific audience, and that audience is me. I know these tropes aren't for everyone, but if you're looking for a new yuri manga to read and you're not scared by some drama, you should give Kono Koi wo Hoshi ni wa Negawanai a try

I’m sure this has nothing to do with the fact that andrastes mother was part of a tribe who helped the grey wardens fight and defeat dumat the same year she was born, meaning that she could have been a fetus affected by the taint in the proximity of a dying arch demon

And the fact that nobody knows which grey warden killed dumat, as seven wardens died from injuries from his death throes, and therefore we cannot actually identify a warden who absorbed his soul, means nothing

And I’m sure it is a complete coincidence that andraste had dreams and visions of the being later referred to as the maker her whole life, and behaved strangely, talking about hearing lost voices and seeing strange auras. That absolutely doesn’t sound like anyone else we know

The way Luz's thank you drawing got rejected by the person it was for when she thought she finally found someone who wouldn't make fun of her for her eccentric behavior, that she is worthless..and then the drawing does get recognized, that it's beautiful and why would it get thrown away. She was finally understood (I am in shambles help-)
