calling it right now that season 3 starts like this
#so confused about people saying the season finale feels like the end because to me it didn't at all#there's like 5-10 issues immediately set up for another season#they're in a happy place at this point because they've both realized their love is bigger than anything else#and makes it worth working on their problems together#the problems are still very much there#both of them have deep self esteem/self loathing issues that haven't been resolved in the week since ed woke up#ed doesn't know about stede's trauma#they haven't talked through anything#and they'll be shit at starting/running an inn lmao it's not gonna go well#and those are just some of the internal issues#then there's prince ricky and all the authorities that would very much like to get their hands on both blackbeard and stede bonnet#because stede just full-on kept using his government name after faking his death. nice one#the crew are not “gone” they're more like off to college for a bit but will probably run into trouble immediately#again because while they escaped to the ship they didn't eliminate the threat (the british empire)#it's not a forever goodbye#ok this got super long already anyway i have a whole fic marinading in my brain until i've finished these 4 wips i'm in the middle of ✌️#hope we get a renewal soon because i want to see the rest of their story!!#ofmd s2 spoilers#ofmd s2#ofmd#our flag means death

Sometimes I think Dan and Phil are totally platonic besties and then other times I’m convinced they fuck on the daily. I think they do it on purpose and it’s honestly iconic.
kind of the best thing is that they are that and everything in between. you can tell they just like being around each other. they've made content together for 15 years and the large majority of it was done in the strictly platonic sense for their audience. and they were still having so much fun with it. we're in the 'we know you know' era now so we get to see flashes of different dynamics they have, but they absolutely have more we Don't get to see bc they're not for us.
they like each other. stupidly fond of each other. spending time together doesn't feel exhausting. they're best friends and each others' harshest critics while being the biggest hypeman and also safe space.
dnp's relationship with us, their audience, always has been and always will be different than any other content creators. part of it is how they accumulated it, but another part is just the massive history we have with them. they Get us. they Know us. they're silly goofy sarcastic guys who love us and hate us sometimes. theyre grateful but careful too. they like to rile us up, just like they do each other. it's a love language, teasing, and we've shown positive responses to it over the years. i like to say that my relationship with dnp is antagonistic sometimes--cause i know they're pushing my buttons on purpose. and ykw? it's fun! it's fun for us and it's fun for them because they have the control. i know anything they let out is cause they chose to let it out because they Know how we are. so yes they absolutely adore messing with us. we're a funny bunch.

also this isnt really proper shade at larian or anything and the writing of this game is SAURE good so dont take it this way but.
i sure do wish. Minthara was not villain batted as hard as she was. Her being locked to "evil" runs and being mutually exclusive with several party members. Her being nothing more than a miniboss for your average player- who does not even know shes a potential party member! Her being so chronically unloved by the community because... shes the "evil" companion. Hell, even the amount of people saying frankly really edgy shit about killing her or hurting her completely unprompted lmao. Like I genuinely think shes been pretty unfairly demonized both by the community and by the meta of just like... the game itself because she's really actually..... kind of, dare I say, sweet? if you get to know her. ugh.
#also if i had two nickles. shes sylvanas all over again lads i fear#idk obviously larian handles her character much better than wow ever handled sylvanas but its genuinely like#kind of eerie how similar they are and how hard they where both villain batted considering how evil they actually are#ESP compared to their male counterparts#like i would argue that neither of them are any more evil- and likely are even less evil- than a lot of the men in the same game that#are not villain batted at all.#like every character in warcraft is a war criminal so sylvanas is hardly uniquely evil on that front#and i have a hard time buying that minthara is anymore inherently evil than astarion lol#idk again larian handles trauma much better and it feels... inauthentic to accuse them of not treating minthara well because shes#traumatized. thats def not the argument im making here but it IS really sad to relate to / find catharsis in another traumatized elf#only for her to be. villain batted just like the last one :/#idk. its just a bummer.#like again thankfully its not a thesis of larians like. karlach and shadowheart and laezel are all beautiful and wonderful examples of like#traumatized women allowed to be angry and validated for being angry#BUT im selfish haha i want my bestie minthara to be able to have a happy ending w the rest of us and i dont want to see her demonized for#idk being a traumatized angry woman like!! it seems outta place for that to be the message but#whatever im rambling ive lost the plot#my post

#his money trauma runs so deep he cant see how his behaviour hurts inho much more than any money issues could#or maybe he does and its just that bad that he cant physically stop himself#when he told inho to go back i was like my man he cant keep coming back until you have enough money to feel secure#if you dont deal with this now that insecurity is gonna run for the rest of your life and even if you do have money youll always worry abou#losing them and not be able to enjoy the comfort that comes with them#and youre always going to base your feeling of self worth on them#and your happiness and everything valuable in your life would be so easy to destroy#itd crumble#i want him to see the truth so bad it hurts me watching him go through it#im happy he was at least honest with inho#thats a step#hes gonna have to take a lot of small ones too#all of these hurt boys ugh#its such a pretty show and the comedy is fun and the acting is top notch that it makes me ignore how much sadness there actually is in ever#episode#and i recommend it as a light watch because they mix the sweet and the sour so well#but i feel for all of these characters#including hyejin lol#boys be brave

@thegreenleavesofspring look, I celebrated Max's birthday! I was going to draw a motorcycle on the card but there wasn't a lot of space and it would've been fairly complicated. I really liked including the star, though.

#stars posting#the way the effect at the end is the same as when talking to the head housemaiden. tee hee.#ohhhh siffrin. picks them up and throws them off a cliff#also let it be known that the act 4 odile friendquest dialogue is everything to me as well#its delightful to me how bitter they are#I cant wait to watch it blow up#also I love how odile goes abt confronting sif abt it#because like. in act 6 I feel like odile probably assumes she was harsher abt it than she actually was#like she wasnt necessarily gentle but she didnt feel like. angry either. just upset. reasonably so#like the thing that gets me abt her speculation is when shes speculating that they might have lost to the kind before#and just like. that sticks with me so hard. even with sif actively lying to her face she doesn't assume that theyre trying to sabotage them#combined with everything else she says during the whole questline it just. feels like she truly does want siffrin to just talk to her.#with her frustration coming from him just blatantly refusing to despite how obviously super serious of an issue this is#it's always been my favorite party sub quest I love odile I am rotating her in my mind#especially in combination with her act 6 dialogue relating to it#and her act 6 dialogue in general#just like aughhhhh#it feels like to me that she assumes shes worse than she is and thats so fascinating to me combined with the rest of her character#and its like. what is this woman's deal. girlie had stalkers plural. what has your life been like.#and and! her dialogue with the wizard kid where she expressed that it feels nice to be old!! augh!!!#it just reads so much like a character whos already been through the worst period of their life and made it to the other side#and generally speaking she does seem fairly happy and comfortable with herself! but it's a learned thing!#and its just like oughhhhh what if I cried actually. over a backstory that is like 90% just pure speculation on my part#like her adversion to touch. combined with everything else. head in hands.#isat spoilers

The first four are in reference to a great idea I had of - since I’ve finished my lower-limit page number testing for making books; shorter fics take up less page space, and just increasing the font size isn’t as handsome! - simply making a mini book! All it would take would be to halve the pages again, right? Just cut them right down the middle! Easy peasy!
As I’m sure you can tell by the second, no. Not easy peasy. Difficult painful un-fun >:(
Obviously I still did it tho! What do you take me for, someone who could have the idea of an even tinier book and then not do something about it?? No It’s also the only one so far to have a paper bookmark rather than a ribbon!
All told it’s a bit smaller than your average manga (I love the monochrome covers on these under their dust jackets haha <3) - you can see even with effectively doubling up the pages by halving their size, it was still very small-spined!
A quick shot while it was still being made hehe ♪ It’s Out! Paired here - and the earlier one, just without its dust jacket haha - with my Zarla SC2 collection (ft. Family, Negotiations are Going...Well, and With No Obligation) - I absolutely kicked myself after the fact for not including Out as the run-up to everything, I was really trying to make a full collection in probably-chronological order! Out would’ve been a perfect start! And it only would’ve taken like four pages!!
Ah well, it was still quite a learning experience - I probably wouldn’t make another standalone of under 4k-ish just for formatting reasons but I did get some good ideas of how to do so if I wanted to! Although, my next project is going to be even more of a formatting nightmare........I’ll get there when I get there! Lol

What if I made this as off-putting as possible instead of romantic.
#I mean I'm very heavily leaning into the humor for this one but what if I made it funny AND creepy#then I wouldn't have to pretend I know how to write a functional relationship#(well. as functional as these two characters can be anyway.)#the problem is that most of my ideas are about analyzing relationships between characters#and some of them are fucked up with the romantic element unrealized (which is a lot easier to write because of. you know. personal history)#and some of them are about how mental illness interacts with one's relationships#but the rest of them are straight up 'how would these characters get together and build a relationship that works for them'#and I WANT to write those things because they're important to me and because I want there to be more fic for my unpopular ships#but the idea of ME trying to write something where the entire focus is people getting into a happy and relatively straightforward#relationship feels...laughable.#c2g is different because it's not like...straightforward at all? there are a lot of elements at play there.#and the characters are ALREADY together. and most of the fic really is just unpacking their psyches.#I wouldn't call it a romance fic?#but Deranged Oneshot is...probably somehow actually closer to that idea.#but like. what if it wasn't.#ugh maybe I DO post this one anonymously like I hate considering that but that might be the#only way it actually gets finished#(though. of course.
