Who are your merlin confort characters?

Arthur and Merlin (and Gwen) are a given, obviously but I suppose you mean apart from them :D

So, it's definitely Sir Leon :D he's my Number 1 comfort character. It's very funny to reinvent him and have him suffer and learn new things and be a cryptid. It's so much fun.

Him, often in combination with George because it's crack I kinda invented and am very proud of basically monopolizing the Leon&George ao3 tag.

I'd say Gwaine next, but he's Impossible to use for dramatic effect :) He's very easy to make a driving force for stupid adventures though, while keeping him clueless and motivating.

Then, though I haven't been able to use her much, my love, my life, Frog eating Princess Elena. She's just a joy to have around.

These are my mains because I think I pretty much grasped their characters and know how to use them in a story. It's more difficult with the other knights because they are a) too quiet (Percival) or b) too emotionally mature/stable (Elyan) to challenge or annoy much, or use for humoristic effect. And complicated stuff doesn't count for comfort.

I'm leaving out Morgana for similar reasons.

Kilgharrah would be easy to annoy, but he also easily annoys me so that's out.

And Lancelot is on thin fucking ice because he's actually a complete mess, but he seems reliable and competent. That's difficult too.

Do you get upset that so many blogs care less about hl or unlarry?

I want to say something before I answer because this is really something that is part of how I am in many aspects of my life so it may not reflect how probably other larries feel about this same thing.

So, it sometimes makes me really sad. Not because people can’t feel the need to unlarry or care less. I’m the first one who says that everyone needs to do what is needed to feel good. If someone needs to not log in for a couple days it’s ok, if someone needs to back off completely that’s also ok.

I’m just really sad to not see around the same people who were here with me from the (my) beginning in 2018. And let me tell you, anon that many of them left.

You know, I’m just a very melancholic person and I just miss certain posts that made my day and certain comments coming from certain people. Just opening tumblr and knowing I would find certain things was a happy moment and something comforting and comfortable for me. Many of these blogs are definitely gone, many are just less active. But you know 2018-2019-2020 even where the years that I look back and think: wow I miss those years. I miss those people, I miss the tags, I miss fimq and her videos, I miss the atmosphere, I miss a lot of things (as you can see I’m very melancholic),…

But, you know, there are always amazing people to find and follow. Maybe people who were here even long before I was and I didn’t know about. So recently I started following some blogs that I didn’t follow before and who post and reblog things that I love to have on my dash and I’m very happy about that.

There is also to say that on tumblr it’s almost always a place where to have a good time, I don’t go on Twitter or check other sm because I feel like there are more people who are making things up or connect dots that don’t have to be connected.

I have the best experience on tumblr also because, as I always say, I curate my dash and try to stay out of drama as much as possible

Oh hello!!! I am not engaged with any other fandoms currently nor have I in many years. Like a lot of people, BG3 brought me back to tumblr.

But here's some fun facts! My very first fandom EVER was Gundam Wing

My first ever Tumblr Fandom was Dragon Age Origins! I was also around for SuperWhoLock, and yes, I did watch all three shows at the time.

I do follow a few tags outside of BG3, I always love seeing things related to Star Trek, especially The Original Series which is very near and dear to me and 99% of the fanfic I used to read back in high school and my early 20s
