#i hate exam season

I feel like parents are a thing worth celebrating in the demon world and to be recognized as a good parent would be monumental. So, now that he's more comfortable, iruma would make cards for mother/fathers day for the teachers, plus a new parent day, and not think anything of it but those cards get framed and put on display like it was a award

Iruma giving his teachers cards and maybe gifts because they're genuinely good teachers and good demons, not understanding that, just like the birth of a child, Parents days are special because they're demons, so to put aside thier desires and ambitions to take care of their young is special. The fact that they ever managed to keep their vulnerable children safe in such a dangerous world is a feat, so to be recognized to be a good parent is probably one of the highest compliments a parent can get (aaaah i cant find the correct words it's just something big, something hard to achieve) and from what i understand from you, they view these days not as a formality expected from their kids, but as a sincere gifts thier children give to them if they're worthy. so to be recognised by someone who's not even your young? Someone who doesnt share your flesh and blood? Tears for days, my friend. I am crying just thinking about it. I bet everything i own kalego will treasure it like it's the purest treasure in existence, like it's delkira's blood he just possessed.

And it's iruma. Of course he'll talk about it with his friends, trying to make sure his cards are good to convey how happy and grateful he is to have met these people who've become parental figures to him. And he's iruma, so his reasoning and sincerity will infect them to do the same. To give cards and gifts to the adults who've helped them become the demons they are today. And once again, they'll prove that they are the Abnormal Class. Not in a bad way as they may have started, but in the best way beyond what anyone could have imagined.

Edit: Monumental. Yeah, that sounds right. Being recognized by your children as a good parent is a monumental achievement for demons

Post Exam Update

My exam went terribly. My preparation had already been off track, but during the exam, I completely lost focus. I’m worried that I might fail (no joke). I only managed to solve about 4 or 5 questions and had to guess on all the multiple-choice questions. I feel so guilty towards my parents. I feel like I’ve let everyone down. I'm the worst. 😭😭

💌: The weather has been quite frustrating. It's almost Christmas, and while I understand that the temperature is around 3°C, I can't figure out why it was raining this morning. Now, the temperature has dropped even further, and there’s no sign of sunlight. I hate it.

I did it!! 4623 words, 13 pages in total and 2 Saturday nights spent actually writing the thing. I’m pretty happy with the results and hope my teachers thinks so too.

Gotta talk about the fails of it though- I forgot all human needs and was starving afterwards…had Burek as a midnight snack :) then I wanted to print out my term paper but guess what: my printer died on page 3/13. mid sentence. great. it keeps trying to start printing but then it crashes and tries again and so on…I’ll try to fix it tomorrow morning, for now I sent my teacher a pdf so I at least have it handed in that way.

if its exam season for you and youre struggling, just remember grades dont define everything. youve got this. i failed all my exams and i’m doing okay! i am the same loser with or without good exam grades, and you’ll be okay too :)

Current read after finally finishing the Iliad and my reading journal (I decided to sit down and reflect on some books I have on my wishlist, why they are there and why I feel interested in them at the moment, it was actually quite fun and a nice form of reflection, I might end up doing it again every once in a while as I add new books to my wishlist).

Some updates after a few days of being too tired to post my daily entries. I am growing more and more tired which isn't ideal, and tomorrow I will have to break my personal rule of not studying on Sundays, which is a necessity I am not happy about. I am studying for my history of political and social institutions exam and I don't feel confident at all. I will manage to do the bare minimum for it so I am partially hoping in being lucky by getting the right questions on the day of the exam. Moreover the exam is going to be very early and not at my uni, but in a whole different building I don't know. Which adds to me being very anxious, because I cannot even count on the comfort of knowing my surroundings. My levels of anxiety at the moment are over the roof, I've had a continuous stomach ache for three days and overall I feel super tense. I really cannot wait for it to be over so I can rest. The one positive thing I am looking forward to next week is getting my new tattoos! I will give up on a morning of studying for it, but when I got my appointment exam dates weren't out yet, and since tomorrow I'll be studying I guess Monday morning will be my half day of rest. I am trying to stay as positive as possible, thinking I will get the right questions and that everything will be alright, but ngl it's not so easy for me rn.
