I'm beset with technical difficulties, which has thoroughly ruined the Halloween surprise I had for y'all.

Patreon is being weird with me and the Dashingdon site isn't letting me log in, so I must once again ask for your patience while I figure things out. All I ask is that you pretend it's Oct 31st once I finally get it out to you, lol.

Unable to open game

Hii!! I am trying to run the game via Windows (I am using a surface pro). I download the game, go to my files, find it and press “extract all”. It does, but once its complete, the downloading screen disappears, and I’m left to stare back at my files. No game actually pops up and I’m unsure on how to actually get it running. Error screens never pop up, the game is just left as files for me. :(

what a brutal session – Level 20 characters with so many fiddly homebrew magical boons and items! BBEG fight! EIGHT PCs!!! – to have the digital toolkit (or maybe just the wifi???) keep crashing

I am still flattened under the last part of an extremely heavy workload, and the computer I use for all my comics will not charge or start.

As usual, work/family/life is mostly to blame for my silence on here. But I also have some bad news. My patreons already heard this but a freak accident has jacked up my files, and if it wasn't for Dashingdon, HAT would be almost completely gone!  

This means that most of my time is going to be spent transferring some files from dashingdon, revising while I'm at it, and rewriting what I've lost. So no demo updates for a bit.

I was really worried at first, but several other writers helped me find solutions and I've decided to look at this as an opportunity to address some of the existing bugs and problems with HAT.

Another thing on my to-do list is to go through my huge backlog of asks and to put my short stories on Patreon. Right now I'm working on finishing posting Halloween short stories to Patreon. (Yes, I know it's late November, shush.)

So don't fret and hopefully HAT will return with a really hearty update!

i just loooove the idea of his squad being merciless jackasses over quaritch's obvious soft spot for you. like, quaritch is a difficult guy to make fun of usually, so when they realise that they can make fun of him for this, they seize on it. they have to do it sparingly tho, or they'll get their asses kicked ahahaha
