As this kind reader said, the demo has been moved to itchio! The link in the pinned demo post should take you to the main itchio game page.

I just finished adding saves in using the new plugin! (Couldn't figure out how to carry the pictures over, though...)

Also, the individual playlist links have been moved and instead, it links to a profile that has all the playlists laid out for your convenience!

So, slight delay. I've been working on the banner for the masterpost for a few days now, and was nearing completion. Woke up today to find the file corrupted. So, im working on that.

Here's some screenshots I had taken, so you can get a glimpse of what I was working on. (Please ignore the Shenpai stream)

So master post is on hold, and I'm upset. And it's unfortunate because the @tmntaucompetition for 2025 has begun. I've been holding onto some art I was saving for leading up to the masterpost release that I can release as propoganda, post some kind of synopsis. I'd be honored for any entries and interactions. Might be a bit slow with school.

finished my term paper📑

I did it!! 4623 words, 13 pages in total and 2 Saturday nights spent actually writing the thing. I’m pretty happy with the results and hope my teachers thinks so too.

Gotta talk about the fails of it though- I forgot all human needs and was starving afterwards…had Burek as a midnight snack :) then I wanted to print out my term paper but guess what: my printer died on page 3/13. mid sentence. great. it keeps trying to start printing but then it crashes and tries again and so on…I’ll try to fix it tomorrow morning, for now I sent my teacher a pdf so I at least have it handed in that way.

The old girl said, “Nope, I’m done,” and with no explanation or fanfare, blip, she turned off. That was that.

And I do think this computer might be my spirit animal. She has done so much good work, and she is tired. But despite my deep respect for this old machine, it unfortunately means no more sims from me for a little bit (hopefully) or possibly a while.

It might be the power supply, considering how it just went out like it did. I ordered a new charger block, so we’ll find out on Friday. If it’s not the power supply, then I’ll probably just call it a good run for this 13-year-old laptop and let her rest in peace.

Please pray for my backups! I shouldn’t lose too much. But my most recent whole backup was probably a month ago. Maybe two. 😬

edit: it’s three months. My backup is dated September 29th. 😖

Luckily, I’m never able to work too far ahead of where I’m posting, so most of whatever sims pictures I had would already be posted here. And it seems like I can download them in their full size. Any of my recent writing and WIPs should mostly be on Google docs. And since I’ve mostly been in storytelling mode in the past months, my saves haven’t made much progress that I can’t easily recreate. No new babies have been born and I haven’t done too much building lately except for throwaway things.

I was looking forward to playing a little Christmas with my sims. But, as it would turn out, the last picture I took was of Stephanie contracting a severe bacterial infection and her holiday was about to end up in bed on antibiotics, lol! So maybe she’s glad that I’ll probably lose that progress and we can end instead with some cute pixel kittens.

And now it’s time to transition to spending holiday time with my family. I will be around to enjoy reading and liking all of your holiday posts. Sorry, I won’t have any more of my own to share.

one great thing about Citation Needed is how it's entertaining even if you don't understand half the references they're making. Tom describes something funny from the article he's reading, and Gary responds "that's like when Dave Wendleston monologued about crusty beans in Brecklemore while wearing a flatcher on his head!" and Chris adds "if John Stroderberg was there I imagine it would've caused a lot more snaughter" and then Matt points out "well, he wouldn't have been able to hold his prensies, would he? he'd need like a Duke Graham-sized cronket for that" and you have no idea what they all have been laughing about for the entire past minute but their sheer chaotic energy keeps your amusement unspoiled
