Loved the new episode, I sure wasn't ready for Afomura becoming a thing so soon, like that scene is still... that

"Believe" and "Sketch" and now this one are like a Holy Trinity of Villain connected endings and this one FEELS like it belongs to MVA or something like that WAY MORE than the ED version of Believe did, even if the song was directly connected to Tomura and Izuku via text

that's just my "I want THIS SPECIFIC WAY" of wishing an ED was and I got what I wanted in a way with everyone from the LoV having their moment to shine (from the current arc aside from Compress) - so Spinner, Toga, Dabi and Tomura all have that. IN BOTH ED and OP

Shigaraki deserves to have the life that was literally stolen away from him from day fucking 1. Yes, killing AFO was cathartic as HELL, and seeing kurogiri/shirakumo reach out to save his son absolutely broke me, but what happens to all of the build-up with Shigaraki's story? the rest of the league's trauma, the issues they genuinely faced within this hero society? where is all that going? down the drain ig. seems like such a fuckin waste of a story but alright. this could have been about deku becoming the greatest hero by saving and reforming the villains who were abused and tortured but ALRIGHT. also, a two page send off? be fr what the fuck. Rest easy, king. You deserved so much better. Or come back to us because that'll turn this car around so fast we might hit mach speed.

I switched all my language stuff to Japanese to see something about dialogue in the Kalos villain arc and omg Sycamore's Japanese voice matches him SO much more than his English voice he's so happy (Like his animations and dialogue match the vibes the jpn one gives off more than the eng)

I like to think of 3rd as a former bodyguard of All for One, maybe he wasn't born with a quirk too. Maybe he received one from All for One and dedicated himself to serving him as a result only to come to his senses later on.

There was a bit of time when I thought that the ponytailed masked bodyguard of AfO was going to turn out to be the same as the pineapple silhouette one, (the indents on one's mask being similar to the shape the other's headband made from the side) and that like, he put his hair up when he changed sides and wore slightly new clothes and that he was the one to either get Yoichi out of that vault or pass information onto Second so he could get him out. But then we got more clear shots of Third with lighter hair and it seemed more likely Giga was the fate of the bodyguard... But I'll always have a fondness for former AfO guard Third. Perhaps his turning is why Yoichi is glad to see Izuku trying to save Tenko, perhaps that's why Third kept away from Izuku, shame or sure that he'd fail because at least Third was an adult at the time, and what hope do they really have, and why drag the kid in further... Love that plus I think we really should have more former villains in the OfA lineup

I could never hate AFO. He was inspired by a comic book villain (he never read it past volume three). He locked his little brother in a vault. He does human experiments with his bestie. He likes to monologue. He presumably keeps the corpses of important people he kills. He snatches little kids off the street and stalks families. He petted a dead/passed out prison guard that one time. He plants bombs into people. He's surprised when he feels things "like a normal person". He whines when things don't go according to plan. He's a capitalist. Etc etc. He's absolutely hysterical

Back on my Meronia is parallel to Dabisho and Lawlight is parallel to AFOFA bullshit actually because I've been obsessing over them lately and my brain takes the strings from both boards and just screams "I'VE DONE IT, I'VE CONNECTED THEM" except for the fact that I'm right

Basically this and couple of pages of mid-final arc chapters + recent episode and next one being The Dabi episode was just too much not to get excited again

But! Important thing - I need to reread the last arc before I make anything new, if possible without finishing it to the 419 chapter and everything after, it took 2 months to really recover from the damage that chapter did

Anyway am I ready for the new event? Kinda! Do I have enough gems to get new Tomura? No! I'm not sure he'll even show up this time, because other ones were and still are really stubborn

Also Steampunk recruit took like 120 pulls in a step-up recruit and in the usual one combined

Also that one part of the page I added at the beginning was so interesting to look at and them I joked about 236 being similar. The only good thing with final arc being over is that I can say that Izuku didn't draw the parallel of seeing everyone hurt and seeing Tenko react on Mon's death

Understandable why, but it's funny to just look at them and be like, "wow Horikoshi traumatized them both"

All for One. Both him and shigaraki are draconeqqus, but for different reasons.

Shigaraki was born with some of Nana's alicorn magic, which turned his already hybrid body into a powerful magical creature. All for One managed to forcefully gain control of alicorn magic, and then used it to steal magic from others, mutating his body along the way to become the perfect symbol of fear.

I think you view bnha through a forgiving look. You don't think anyone is beyond saving or compassion, and you think every character deserves a hug and kind words (regardless of their actions). The art and thinkpieces you do are so soft as if you yourself wanted to give comfort to the characters you love.

Been thinking about this for at least a week. To condense the pondering:

I totally get how that comes through what I draw! A good conclusion!

But wrong! The villains definitely deserve to ??? I guess be thrown in Tartarus (or the new equivalent) but I don't want them to be forgotten either. Their struggles and issues are valid and they're right to be upset and stuff needs to change, but they also made the choice to fuck shit up. (I'm still not over Spinner stepping on Pixie-Bob's face, like, dude, what the FUCK)

But overall I guess if canon won't give them a little peace then I'm going to lmao.
