Anyways I just was realizing that not even that long before I made this blog I was a lonely, dirty, antisocial, cave dwelling misanthrope with no regard for the sanctity of the self and body, even my own, and I was taking advice from the skull of a guy who was so evil he got killed by a god who until that point had a rule of never altering history. And I literally was so awkward around girls that I couldn't ask for a haircut.

Now I'm a successful and beloved career politician with a literal castle, I have a kid and a large family who all love, support, and respect each other, surrounded by women who enjoy my company and desire me carnally.

aside from the funerals they do for the public and for the adepti, wangsheung funeral parlor does funerals for the hilichurls but it is only zhongli and hu tao who do the ceremonies. there isn’t anything that officially says zhongli knows about the hilichurls, but since he is an archon i believe he knows. 

zhongli has never told hu tao his identity, but she has her suspicions in her voiceline about zhongli

she obviously never asked him and does that as mutual respect for each other as boss and assistant, but i imagine zhongli asks hu tao to help him with the funerals for the hilichurls. hu tao agrees to help him without asking any questions about why out of respect. 

from the limited information we have about the cataclysm i guess this is a way for zhongli to repent what happened 500 years ago because the archons became bitter towards celestia after the cataclysm
