I've always had a question regarding Handplates since it ended, Asgore never related the plates to Gaster? He kept a diary where he wrote everything about the skelebros and was intrigued by their past. It's not weird that the brothers had a plate with their dad's initials drilled into their hands? And if he made the connection, he simply decided not to push the issue further?

I thought about this, actually! I mean logically, you'd think Asgore would put the pieces together. I even wrote out several scripts following the idea, but in the end I didn't go for it. It'd be a long tangent at the end of the comic for one, but mostly because it just... didn't go anywhere. It dead-ends in an unsatisfying way where nothing really changes or gets resolved, so I just set it aside.

You're on the right track about him deciding not to push it! But basically I figured, if Asgore came and asked...

Gaster: he wouldn't tell him, in part because he's afraid of how Asgore would react and doesn't want to lose him, but also because he doesn't want to talk about something that personal to the brothers without their permission. Especially after Sans told him that he didn't want him to talk about what happened to them with anyone else! He'd probably talk around the issue, if he didn't outright lie about not knowing, and point Asgore in the brothers' direction so they could decide for themselves if they wanted him to know.

Sans: Already said he doesn't want anyone to know about what happened. 1-S is dead. He'd fend off any questions Asgore asked with silly joke answers and completely stonewall him on it.

Papyrus: Also doesn't like talking about "that stuff" with other people, and didn't like the pitying looks that Asgore gave him about his scars. He's with Sans in wanting to move on after what happened, and he also wants to keep Gaster in good standing with everyone and in a healthy living situation with Asgore. He'd fend off the questions in a way that'd make it clear that he was uncomfortable with the issue (much like how he fended off the kid's back at the beginning) and I feel like Asgore would sense that it's an uncomfortable topic and not press too hard.

So while Asgore might be suspicious and might figure out that the plates and Gaster are connected, none of the skeletons would actually tell him or explain anything about it, and since they've told no one else about what happened and no one remembers it, there's no real other source of information about it anywhere. So Asgore ends up empty-handed, and the reader would likewise feel disappointed that the whole thing ended up going nowhere. It'd just feel like a waste of time, I think, especially so close to the end of the story.

It is something I thought about though! Probably something better left for a fic or something, really...

Experiencing weird feelings regarding someone identifying as a w******, it certainly isn't my place to assume they aren't native american but it still strikes an uncomfortable chord in me as they seem to be unaware of cultural attitudes towards the spirit. 1) This is like THE world building element I wasn't really sure about. I've thought about it and I think like, people know about vampires and werewolves and there are still some modern day hunters but they're a minority? (In a drawing I made you can see Killer has a AHAB (all hunters are bastards) sticker lol). I really don't know yet. I think society accepting them is like out of the question lol, you lose a lot of adversity and interest doing that I think. It's also just sort of weird to me? Idk that's just not a story I'd like to read.

Maybe it's more of a 'we saw a werewolf attack in this little village outback' and people are worried and stuff but it's always out in the middle of nowhere and it's not happening to them so they don't really give it that much thought. It's the news you see horrors all the time right? Mostly they just... Don't think anyone in their college classes would even be a vampire/werewolf. Maybe there aren't that many creatures out in the city at all. Like a hiding in plain sight thing. i think that's something I like more already. It's probably not going to be a huge part of the story at all. Maybe a few mentions that can leave the characters feeling like outsiders or a little anxious but not a major plot point y'know?

2) I Imagine someone who's like twenty something and already a vampire hasn't had the best circumstances lol. He definitely was not turned with his consent, I haven't really thought of specifics yet but when Nightmare found him he was not laughing and being cute. He was closed off and depressed. Didn't talk much at all. (He's better now y'all

3) wahhh I haven't thought about that! That's a good question. I don't... Actually know how American colleges work but I think Killer would probably be in like history or english? Cross maybe in computer science? Maybe audio-visual stuff. Is that cinematography? Idk what it's called. Maybe they can be like. History of arts+cinematography so they have classes together maybe. Again this is without knowledge of how any of it works. I'll get back to you on that.

I'm good! Pretty tired. College maybe isn't.......... As cool.... As I first thought....... But it's chill! some of my classes are still super interesting and I love learning. And anyway I have plans and ideas and stuff on the side that make me happy! And my Kitty is drooling on me so really what more can I ask for?

i am FAR too deep into the murder time rabbit hole to be asked this question dearest evil doppelganger because i like majority of trio interpretations and headcanons,,,,,, likeeeee people have SO MANY amazing ideas and even if i don't fully ADORE their interpretation of the trio i can still appreciate it and find things that i like about it!!! openmindedness and allat even if it's not my own personal cup of tea :3 that's what you need when youre in fandom i suppose,,,,, keeping your mind open to the contrary and cringe ‼️

but that doesn't mean i LOVE every single trio interpretation. first thing that comes to head are like overly bara FAR TOO masculine MUSCLE hot sexy trio. and then also the inverse of like babyfied TOO feminine weak and cutesy murder time trio. maybe it's just because i think that majority (with the exception of ones where gender plays a big role in their character) of sans aus would just be like,,,, gender neutral non binary. like even sans undertale doesn't read as male to me he's just a fellow!!! he's just a guy!!!! and that's cool and since theyre continuations (OMG CONTINUATION GROUP!!! 継続組‼️‼️‼️) of sans undertale that might get carried on. ITS NOT EVEN THAT ITS A DETERRENT TO THE TRIO because if theyre well depicted then i can choke down the really masc or fem designs. but usually these types of designs come at the cost of.... (gulp) DECENT characterization (shivers in my boots)

anyways NUMBER 2 i suppose would be like. BASIC mischaracterizations of the 3. like assuming killer joined his chara just for shits and giggles when ITS LITERALLY IN THE FANON WIKI!!! you dont even have to read the something new comics to know that he had his code altered,,,,, you dont even have to delve into the intricacies of that detail to at least KNOW ABOUT IT. i would bring up the misinterpretation that horror is a cannibal here but i actually kinda like the idea i just dont like that people think its CANON canon. like i find it funny when he talks about eating humans to others and they get weirded out (not because i think that he eats humans like the hc states but because i think he'd totally say freaky shit like that to creep people out!!) and like,,,, dust and when people think that phantom paps is a GHOST and not a hallucination. i mean i blame the fangame for this by adding a section where phantom papyrus ATTACKS for some reason??? but still. just like reaaaally basic surface level knowledge that should be known with literally the first search (but i get that some people are just that lazy (REAL) and im not THAT offended when people say that. maybe if they expanded more on these ideas it would be cool......?????? even if its not CANON)

(on a side note of basic murder time trio characterization this guy created a video explaining the trio! it's not THAT bad i guess,,, idk maybe i'm just greatful that someone made a video explaining them but i dont know why when choosing the "canon" version of the trio to explain he DID bring up touken-kamui's mtt but then also brought up the,,,, VILLIAN SANS SQUAD mtt??? hello??? why not just the original rahafwabas (and probably joku too but i cant be bothered) comics about the trio since you're including the bad sanses version of the mtt's canon!!! i had a whole rant about this to my friend because why did he do this???? it's also a bit funny because he goes on about goku in the middle of the video 💀 ALSO WHY IS THERE A RANDOM PHOTO OF MAMI TOMOE IN THE VIDEO???)

WIP Wednesday (3/27) | Arsonist Neil / Firefighter Andrew AU (Part 125)

Neil stares at his phone until it times out and the screen goes dim. What’s he supposed to do now? Keep poking the bear until Andrew eventually blocks his number? No, no. He doesn’t want that. He’ll… He’ll give Andrew a while to cool down, then try to explain how he��d freaked out about hearing a name that shouldn’t matter anymore.

How he’d asked the barista to borrow a pen to write a note, ordered Andrew a muffin as promised, and ducked out. He did the best he could. Or so he thought. Maybe he should’ve tried to stick it out. Part of him was tempted to just sit in the parking lot and wait for Andrew to arrive. Maybe they could’ve talked like that, just the two of them.

Maybe he’ll offer that. That they could try again. Somewhere… Less crowded. Somewhere Neil doesn’t feel the need to look over his shoulder. Like here, in the hotel room maybe. Well, actually that’s a terrible idea. Neil will think of something better. Some sort of compromise.

But what if Andrew’s already told his bosses about the arsonist he’s been talking to? And what if they can track this number somehow? Oh shit. Neil quickly turns off his phone and yanks the battery out of the back just in case. He’s not sure that could keep anyone from finding it, but that’s what his mother always used to do so he’ll just hope it works.

Neil scrubs a hand over his face and realizes it’s shaking. Fuck, he needs…

He needs to either burn something or talk to Andrew. And only one of those is an option currently. But it’s the middle of the afternoon. He promised his mother he wouldn’t light fires in broad daylight anymore. Okay, yes. Mary is dead. But. It was still a promise. Besides that, he hasn’t found a new place to burn yet. 

Neil climbs up onto the bed and disengages the smoke alarm. Then he grabs his lighter and goes into the bathroom. He’s done this a few times before. When he had no other outlet for this demon that lives under his skin. He yanks down the shower curtain and drops it behind him, then stacks the extra toilet paper rolls in the bathtub and lights the top one. 

It’s paper. And it’s dry. So it lights like a dream and catches quicker than Neil can blink. The flames are orange as the wallpaper and standing straight up, barely dancing because they’re inside with no wind to guide them.

But it’s still soothing. Still sort of beautiful. Almost.

He watches it until he can feel his fingers again. Until the outside of the roll has charred itself black and the bottom one starts to catch. The flames eat away at it, racing towards the porcelain of the tub. Neil snaps out of it just in time to cut the shower on and put it out.

It barely leaves a scorch mark. He can buff that out later.

He’s not sure if he can buff out this thing with Andrew.
