Our Walmart is having a massive clearance deal thing going on because it's a new season and I got this for like $23, and the potential for variants with the junkton of tiles and plates it includes in the set and my preexisting pieces is... Ooooooo

There's also other suggestions for portraits using the extra pieces ((and yes, there's a lot of extras includes))

I feel like I made out with a good deal...

Just saw a commercial for the HULU and Disney+ Bundle with The White Stripes “We’re Going to Be Friends” playing. OF COURSE, the first clip shown is Sydney and Carmy meeting. Ugh! 😑 Why? The next shot is of the Mandalorian and Grogu and then Moana.

I’m sorry but these three shows/movies and main characters aren’t thinking: Hm, I can tell that we are gonna be friends.

Each pair shown are dynamic, complicated and so laden with strife from jump. Friendship isn’t upfront! Trust, care, and shared goals are the names of the game. Friendship may be a foundation understood later on but the whole structure is love - committing to something so profound without understanding.

Showing the moment Carmen meets Sydney, having that song playing, is so shenanigans.

holy shit they finally identified the body in a bag pulled out of the gulf harbour back in march and still this entire situation is no clearer

#70 yr old woman with no family or friends in nz comes to visit #ends up being found dead in a rubbish bag in her pajamas thrown into the sea #by a fisherman who just happened to see the bag and got hit with a bad feeling #fuckin weird #im glad her family know where she is now. she mustve been a missing person since just before the body discovery #too much murder in the news recently. i still havent recovered from the one 10 mins away near one of my fav cafes #unnerving.

#lindsay speaks #i just.... it was just a FEW THINGS at first #so like I keep buying different slacks for work becs each pair keeps messing up one way or the other #and then i was like my belt is pretty torn up... i need a new one before this one snaps.... but then i accidentally broke my necklace chain #so i went ahead and got a new one... which reminded me i was wanting to accessorize my uniform more #and ended up buying like. an undershirt. a bracelet. new shoes. new shoe laces #I ALSO GOT off brand crocs because my bro's family all has w CUTE CHARMS and i feel left out i want to go matchies #when we all leave in our sweatpants & crocs to the gas station... IT'S A VIBE #anyway i also ordered a bottle so i could take my energy drinks to work in my purse LMAO which reminded me i was wanting a bottle to go #round my neck for when I'm walking/jogging SO I GOT ONE OF THOSE TOO 😭😭 and a couple of stretching/working out things too...#including pants i always forget to buy workout pants...#and i got a new bookmark because I've been reading more again recently and have been using a scrap of paper #and. a new headband for skincare/make up time... and a workout headband... and a glass for water in the bathroom... and a face brush...#Oooo AND PAJAMAS #I've never had a pj set before #:>#and um. a capybara accessory for my purse. and um. a tenma lanyard + hair tie.#and a portable charger so i don't have to be in the breakroom on my break... and a yearly planner... cause i think it will help...#and finally more lip tint......#lord forgive me i have made a purchase 🙏 many purchase in fact #you WISH you were me with my pink kitty cat fanny pack on my hip w strawberry scented dog poo bags & brown bear water bottle round my neck #<- what i look like on my walk #like damn she in ha mood

shockingly enough along with driving home today i also went grocery shopping, went to the weed store, ordered more stickers, went through my dresser and put a bunch of clothes in a bag to be picked up by the cloth recycling company (also requested a pickup), brought up my fan since it's warm, took care of all the dishes in the sink, changed all the dishcloths in the kitchen, took a shower, watered my plants, swept the hallway, ordered some new clothes, cooked a meal, and it's not even 8. think i might just get in bed

#chatpost #what else is there to be done. time to lay down #mentioned some of this before but honestly i feel like i got a lot done for only getting back at 2. and being high for half of it #realized while i was at my parents house that my fave sweatpants are super threadbare so i got a new pair #and some bike shorts to replace some of the pajamas i put in recycling #however my threadbare sweatpants will probably languish in a mending pile for all time #ONE get weird sticker left. the fastest i've ever sold out of a sticker. isn't that novel

a farm museum of sorts has weekly open workshops that do have themes and instruction, but you can kinda just go do your own thing there. this week it was crochet, specifically whittling your own hook and making a crochet winter hat.

in practice it was a bunch of people getting the hang of the basics. and me. making black lace. because i want to use it to upsize a fancy croptop.

in hindsight, maybe it wasn't that weird that i got asked if i'm studying in this local fashion school

#i was essentially in pajamas #hit the gym really hard this morning and needed Comfy #the lace is a project that i hadn't worked on for at least half a year #found out i had done it wrong but in a passable way #but then struggled trying to figure out how the fuck was i able to do the twist on the pattern #only managed to finish two new rings rip me #but it was nice!#the same person told story after story about how tourists got themselves killed #and they were so damn worried about the one mildly poisonous snake we have around here #interesting conversations #(i managed to write a teensy bit yesterday)#(fingers crossed i'll manage to write a bit more today!)
