Disclaimer to all this I'm ablebodied so please tell me if I overstep:
Hmmm what if the rubilax arm doesn't make tristepin "magically abled again", and tristepin at one point trains to swordfight without it because even if in his own words he isn't as good at swordfighting without it he still wants to defend himself against strong enemies if say he lost rubilax.
Maybe armless isn't as swift with the sword as he was before when he had 2 arms but he still manages to improve his abilities from season 3 in his way and his disability is more aknowledged.
Maybe he gets phantom pains ..
The rest of the brotherhood, even rubi are very supportive and try to accomodate their friend as best as possible and think he's cool as shit, especially his kids.
Maybe Ruel has some extra kinship cause as we've seen in some episodes his shovel/staff aids his moving so as an older disabled guy he gives advice to the younger one even if their disability isn't the same..

might I request a very very tooth rotting fic w/ Alucard. W/ a reader who is his complete opposite (aka, short, warm, friendly), whom had always found a way to take care of him, he’d fallen immediately in love when they would hold him tight in the night, giving him a semblance of safety in his castle. PLEASE THIS MAN NEEDS LOVE AND COMFORT 💗💗💗💗
𝐈 𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄 𝐌𝐄 𝐀𝐅𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐘𝐎𝐔.
› ..what more could he ask for? gn reader. — hi giys. im back again from the dead… sorry bc this is short as hell 😭
Your embrace was warm. Very warm. It felt like a thousand suns grazing his skin, pouring light into ever crevice of his body and leaving him with a feeling of solace, distracting him from everything outside of the castle walls.
More often than not, he preferred your hold to be one where he rest his head upon your chest, his arms wrapped around your abdomen with no desire to let you go. He felt like the happiest man in the world. And the luckiest. You usually fell asleep before him, and although your embrace relaxed and grew limp, the beating of your heart reverberating in his ears stilled whatever thoughts that clouded his mind, and the worry that seemed to be never-ending to finally cease. From the way you smelled to the way your shallow, soft breaths were and to the way your heartbeat gently echoed off of the castle’s walls he could finally feel a net of safety envelope his weary body.
He would lie away with your arms around him, basking greedily in your hold. Everything was so different with you, from how your lingering touches lit up his world and silently told him you cared, and the gazes he caught when you were trying to be discreet. If he was the moon, he was sure you would be his sun.
His love for you was something he had only seen with his parents, something he had only read in books. Nothing could ever be perfect, however with you it felt as such. He could ask for nothing more, and could live happily knowing that wherever you were, you would be safe. That he would be safe, even within these dreary castle walls.

My initial impression when I watched Eclipse for the first time (and what I still believe) is that Stella knew full well that Ray didn't humilate himself on purpose in the bank when they were kids. I always read it as Stella knowing how embarrased and ashamed Ray would feel for having wet himself, and instead of trying to console him and tell him that it was okay, she let him be the hero instead. Because even though in Ray's memory he thought that he was being 'John Lennon, James Bond, Joe Namath, all rolled into one', I don't think Stella actually fell in love with an illusion at all. Like Fraser said, 'I am willing to gamble that Stella looked beyond that one incident and saw the whole person'. I think she always saw Ray for who he really was, but Ray's own insecurities about himself made him believe that she had to be with him based on a lie. I think the person who doesn't see Ray clearly is Ray himself. He has such a low sense of himself that he can't imagine her falling for anything but a con. He can't imagine that Stella simply fell in love with little Ray Kowalski, because who the hell is even is that? He's convinced himself that he's been playing the part of 'the hero' all these years that he doesn't really see that he has actually become one. The person who recieved all those citations that Fraser recounts wasn't a lie or a con, it was Ray Kowalski, a good policeman, someone who one would be proud to call a partner and a friend. In my opinion Ray's biggest con was conning himself into believing he isn't good enough just the way he is.
