So for some more details:

- I am fairly time-poor with a huge amount of commitments: Grownup Job Senior Promotion, three small kids on summer holidays/starting school, writing a novel fanfic for sick friend, peak growing/harvest season at allotment, etc. so im only offering “what I can actually deliver” at this time

- swan comic is a new idea, people like those don’t they? Not sure of how fundraising mechanism would work here but maybe taking prompts?

- not sure how essay would work but it’s probably my best/most appealing skill?

- material items in exchange for a minimum fixed amount. So offline I’m most known for material works. I’m not a BAD printmaker / craftworker and for this I would be looking at designing a sort of limited print run of greeting card style original hand printed prints. I know you guys aren’t familiar with this work from me, so this would involve a bit of trust that An Art from me would be worth at least £5 lmao. However it’s kind of nice to get something real in the mail right??

- super worried about fandom auction so this would be mostly a register of interest that I’d take to more experienced people and use as leverage to start an auction; I’m not in a great place to provide much actual legwork here. Okay vent time bc I'm literally gonna cry

My mom found out I have lgbtq pins put on my back pack and a rainbow bag. She never hid her dissatisfaction with me being gay so I knew her reaction wouldn't be pleasant. However, I'm still upset.

She said that she doesn't want me to go out there bc it puts me in danger. And it would be sweet of her even if not for the tone and disgust in her eyes. I can tell she was condesending me and felt embarassed for me. She isn't outright hateful. I can't call her out on her saying hurtful shit since everything she displays is this passive agressive talk. She has this mask of "accepting" mother but her first reaction for me coming out was to try to fix me. She is sending mixed signals, as always. Her words were: "putting those pins isn't very wise. Can you even fight? Exactly." Like bro??? She isn't trying to talk to me about it, to have a peaceful conversation. She just attacks me with those ice cold statements and calls it a day. She doesn't fucking care if I get beaten up. If I got beaten up she would obliviously blame me. How the fuck am I supposed to feel safe with her? Not to mention accepted. I know Ema’s popular for being a hater, but I think it’s neat how she feel like one of the warmest, kindest characters in the franchise too.

Like, she always lets people use her equipment and teaches them how to use it, or straight up GIVES it to them if she has spares (which is probably just a byproduct of her love of forensics but hear me out), she considers people she knows through work like Apollo to be friends to the point where she’s actually hurt by him not wanting to talk to her when they meet again in SoJ, it’s subtle, but she empathises with him over the loss of his parents, and the way she consistently refers to him as a ‘kid’ (even as late as the SoJ credits) and a newbie honestly feels more irritating-older-sisterly than patronising in an offensive way. Like affectionate teasing. It doesn’t take much to convince her to let you perform informal investigations either — especially when her friends are involved, she’s often sympathetic to the people she arrests, she was surprisingly forgiving when Apollo both lost an entire corpse AND almost set her on fire within, like, an hour… she offered to share her Snackoos with Phoenix when an investigation wasn’t going so well and advised him to take a break even though they were technically on opposite sides, said she was proud of Apollo even though she’d only known him for a case and a bit at the time… and she has such a friendly smile! I don’t know, she just seems really nice and chill despite her grumpiness.
