hmmm something something boston slept with someone's boyfriend but mew actually duplicated revenge porn
#don't mind me#i am just very delighted by how everyone's reactions differ when it comes to the invasion of intimate privacy compared to cheating#one has a crimal penality when violated the other is immoral#maybe it's because cheating feels closer to everyone's reality?#hmmm..not tagging the show because it is almost 4am and i should sleep instead of making only half intelligable posts#since i am at it - his threat can also not be discounted#(is it obvious that i am only doing criminal cases atm)#(well aware that cheering for the mess doesn't mean condoning any of the action irl)#only friends the series#only friends

Interestingly the death of the CEO in New York seems to have made people open their eyes.
Whilst I don't condone the assassinations of CEO's who work for large health corporations, and would rather see them criminally liable for the countless deaths their actions have caused due to their company policy, I can't help but be fascinated at the reaction that it has garnered across the United States, and even the world.
Particularly, the fact that people are starting to turn against those traditional Conservative voices that so many people love. In particular Ben Shapiro.
Now this is not the only comment under his recent video, but it's the one that succinctly points out what these people are all about. Hatred. And the death of the CEO seems to have woken some people up to that fact.
Do I think it's going to change anything? Probably not right now. But maybe it's the start of people finally waking up and thinking about what they read on the internet before going straight to hatred mode.
Only time will tell.
Edited to add a few more screengrabs.

Mama I'm In Love With A Criminal
Kol Mikaelson x Reader
~★~❤︎~✦~
Inspo~ Mama I'm in love with a criminal And this type of love isn't rational, it's physical Mama please don't cry, I will be alright All reason aside I just can't deny, I love the guy ~Britney Spears
You should have known he was too good to be true. He was the perfect boyfriend, handsome, funny, caring, and he had an accent -A BRITISH ACCENT. He was just too perfect, he had to have a flaw though it didn’t have to be such a big one. I mean you could get over the vampire thing if anything it was kinda a plus I mean everyone goes through a vampire phase. Even the fact he’s related to Klaus, wasn’t a complete deal breaker. No, what you couldn't get over is the fact he beat Jeremy up with a bat and nearly pummeled the boy to death. You can still remember the call you got from elena she was in tears begging you to come back to mystic falls.
You had decided to go along with Jeremy when Elena sent him away just wanting to have a normal life with no drama. Though you unknowingly had fallen smack dab in the middle.
You were packing up your room, desperate to get back home and comfort your friend. A knock on your door has you freezing. You were hoping it was anyone but Kol, you had no desire to see him. After that call with Elena you never even wanted to hear his name again. You felt like such a fool, you were just a pawn, a means to mess with Elena.
“Darling would you open the door?”, you don’t move hoping that your silence will make him leave. “I suppose you heard about the Jeremy thing but it was nothing personal. Now open the door before I kick it in” you thought the threat over, eventually deciding to stand you don’t know how you would explain a kicked in door.
You kept your face neutral as you opened the door, Kol on the other hand wore a smirk. “I do hope your not here to beat me with a bat”, in truth you should be scared but you just couldn’t bring yourself to be. No, you're already feeling too much to be scared of him.
“Darling,” he reached out, going to stroke your cheek, you quickly dodge. It didn’t seem to upset him though. “Even when you're mad I find you completely irresistible.” You tried your best not to be affected by his words. Yet you still found your heart quickening, in your defense it was only a short while ago that this man was your boyfriend. It was only fitting that there was residual feelings even if you wished there weren't. “Let me make it up to you” he’s reaching for you once more, this time however he moves too fast for you to react. His lips smashing against yours in a heart aching kiss.
“Kol” you mumble against his lips. Your arms rest on his chest your not sure if you wish to push him away or pull him closer.
“I love it when you say my name” he groans as he moves his lips against your neck. You shouldn’t let this continue.
“Kol we shouldn’t-I shouldn’t” you finally managed to push him away. Or at least get him to stop kissing you. He still had you held close against her.
“I don’t want this to get between us, I care for you shouldn’t that be all that matters?” His words gave you pause. You wish it was that easy but the ‘this’ he’s talking about is him beating up your friend's brother. You couldn’t just look past that. “If you can overlook your friends' actions towards my family, then why can’t you look over mine towards theirs?”. His question had you pausing. When he said it like that you realized just how hypocritical you had been.
When it came to your friends you always excused their actions, even the most questionable ones, because they only did what they had to. So if you can excuse their actions maybe you could forgive Kols. “I’m not saying I condone your actions because I don’t but-” you're not even able to finish your sentence before Kol is kissing you. This time you don’t push him away.
For now you just want to focus on the warm feeling he makes erupt in your chest. Not on how your friends are bound to react to your choice in men, but what can you do your in love. Even if he may be a criminal in their minds to you he’s just your Love.

I'm prolly gonna get anon hate or whatever for this and while I don't want to fill more in the drama, this is something that can be applied in outlast characters in general
Is Franco a victim? Yes. Is Franco also an abuser? Yes. He's both. This is what some people fail to realize.
The main outlast point is that a victim can turn into an abuser, especially in the hands of evil corporations that are willing to make them worse for the sake of money. Franco didn't know any better? That can be true because he grew up in a criminal family. BUT ALSO, were his crimes all justified? Absolutely not. There is no justification for his actions, especially his misogynism. And this is an example of "An abused victim grows into an abuser". He's basically repeating the neverending cycle of the Barbi family; being a criminal. You can understand he didn't know how to not be a criminal, but at the same time, you can't justify it.
Now, let's talk about "He's just a fictional character" because this statement is ironic if you are pro-fiction, but at the same time harassing a real person for the sake of a fictional character. While it's true that all outlast characters are not real, the way you see their action reflects on your moral compass.
This is what I have been saying, simping on the child-abuser ventriloquist, a man-baby killer mafia, or a racist misogynist cop does not reflect your moral compass because they are not real, and most of the time the simping was thanks to their design and charm. HOWEVER, condoning their behavior does reflect your moral compass. You are not supposed to justify or allow their behavior. This is what liking a fictional character privilege has. Unlike a real person, you can still like them without condoning their behavior. This is why liking fictional killers is okay, but liking real killers is a big no-no.
In the end, every outlast villain is problematic on their own. And the majority of them are victims. But this does not excuse their crimes, because while their crimes are in the game, it does show how you see it in real life.
#outlast#outlast trials#before anyone goes on me about Goose being child abuser#look at me in the eyes and tell me drugging kids is not an abuse#BUT we cant deny she thinks she loves her children#as for Coyle we all can agree on who he is lmao#you can simp a villain without the need of condoning their behavior like really#i dont even want to tag specific character on this#just as in general

[GN reader]
RANPO EDOGAWA, the greatest detective in the world, one who could solve a case in under 3 seconds, your annoying and childlike coworker, the one who has no ability, is currently following you around like a lost child. this has been going on for—at least, 4 minutes max—just him trailing a few centimeters behind as you continue to walk to your destination. in all fairness, when he found out you were going to the grocery store, he immediately jumped into the conversation and decided by himself that he's going to join you during your trip.
"areee weeeee there yet? i don't remember the journey to the store being this long!" a loud whine comes out of ranpo's mouth, worsening your mood as you hear his whiny voice, the kind you'd hear from a 6-year-old child who is simply too impatient to wait for their turn. from your peripheral vision, you could see several people looking at the two of you, ranging from confusion to judgmental stares. his shoulders are down, making him have a slouched body posture as he walks behind youin a more lazier manner than you, who is so close to speed stomping and leaving him behind.
"are we ther- hey! wait up!"
scratch that last thought, you're going to have a pleasant trip to the grocery store and you're going to leave him behind if that's what it takes to have peace of mind.
(fortunately for him, you didn't. your dislike for attention proves to be something he could use to his advantage, seeing how you crumbled under the feeling of many eyes turned towards you two when he whined and cried in the middle of the sidewalk, making a scene in broad daylight, taking his wrist in your grip, and dragging him along to your destination, making him match your speedy pace. he'll definitely keep this in mind for future use.)
the office was quiet, and you were alone in the room—switching between writing and reading a bunch of papers piled up near where you're sitting. despite having gone through just a few pieces of paper, the weight on your shoulders and back has gotten rather heavy, like you didn't stretch your limbs beforehand after waking up from your 5-hour rest. the silence was odd, to say the least, not that it wasn't unwelcome; it just made you curious about what your co-workers were up to, which made them not present in the office today. maybe yosano is out shopping, maybe kunikida and dazai were out chasing down criminals, and whatnot, maybe atsushi is helping out to solve a case with... him. the oh so great detective, fucking ranpo.
as much as he preached about how great he is and how everyone else in the detective agency respects and admires him, you were quite indifferent towards him in general. you aren't sure what everyone sees in him or what makes him so interesting that he's able to get this much attention—in other words, he's just plain boring in your eyes. actually, scratch that; he's more than boring; he's an absolute brat. he's whiny, always munching on his snacks so loudly, refusing to do work or cases sometimes, and acting like his super deduction is an ability. what's even worse is that he seems so determined to bother you constantly, every chance he gets. rarely are you left alone and left to breathe from the overwhelming detective—even if you are given a moment of peace, he'd come running back acting like an even bigger headache for you.
"(nameeeeeee)!" filling up the room with his shout, he pushed open the door with such force that it banged so loudly that the noise echoed to the other side. you could feel his attention on your back as silence once again filled the room. in the most coincidental (and worst) timing, the headache you were talking shit in your head comes into the office—a dreadful pit building up in your stomach as you mentally pray in your head for whatever ranpo is going to put you through this time. you could hear the skip in his footsteps. every step he takes, more sweat starts rolling down your cheeks as you close your eyes and imagine a life without ranpo, without the suffocation of love and attention he gives you, without the anxious thoughts of being followed on your way home (you have major suspicions that it's ranpo but have nothing solid to prove it's him), without him blackmailing you into compliance, without-
dragging you out of your inner thoughts, the headache makes impactful contact with your back. "did you miss me? because i really missed you!" he says in a cheerful tone, wrapping his arms around your shoulders in a tight grip and rubbing his cheeks against yours like someone would greet their lover when they miss them so much (he's doing it on purpose to make you uncomfortable, you think). to further prove your point, he smashes his lips against your cheek, not once, not twice, but multiple times in the same and adjacent areas of your cheek. if this had happened to you several months ago, the simple act of him trying to wrap his arms around your shoulders would make you go away from him as fast and as far as possible—even more so if he tried to kiss you, your water bills would skyrocket through the roof for how much time you would spend in the bathroom trying to scrub away the kiss on your cheek.
"no i didn't, actually" having gotten used to his (non-consensual) affection towards you, his actions do not faze you; on the outside, that is, there still remains that pit of disgust you used to have all those months ago. those urges to swat his body away from yours to give yourself some space are still there, yet you do nothing to act on any of them. you simply decide to indulge in whatever antics he has up his sleeves this time for the next few hours of your day—not that you had a choice, anyway.
(several times you've expressed discomfort at the physical touches he gives you during work hours, several times you've expressed discomfort at the physical touches he gives you during work hours, and several times he intentionally ignores it for his own benefit. the one time he went overboard was when he made himself comfortable on your lap, handed you several sweet snacks you assumed he got from his secret stash, and forced you to hand-feed him until he was satisfied. to say this stunt of his hindered your productivity would be an understatement. you were way behind your planned schedule by the time you finished hand-feeding him all the sweet snacks.
just as you were about to ask him to get off, he suddenly grabbed your wrist, saying something about "there's still some crumbs left!" which confused the fuck out of you until you felt the wet sensation of a tongue licking your fingers. the horrors expressed on your face seemed to further encourage the amused ranpo, as he started sucking on your fingers too! neither of you two brought up that incident again, though you're glad he hasn't done this again; you aren't sure how well you were going to handle the next one.)
"i guess you could say smart men are my type," you say rather subconsciously without any thought or care of your co-workers' reaction to your answer, instead putting all your focus on your computer screen and continuing to type away as you hear several gasps and 'no way's from your left side.
"(name), are you.. sure smart men are your type?" there was hesitation in their voice, disbelief even—like they didn't believe you the first time. "uhh.. yeah? i didn't really give much thought, but intelligence is hot, i guess," you said once again, answering in the same manner you did the first time. you weren't sure what they were trying to get out of this conversation, but if you had to guess, most likely they're attempting to set you up on a blind date. "..alright, if you say so.." they say, ultimately ending the conversation and switching topics to avoid making the awkwardness linger in the atmosphere.
(little did you and your co-workers know, the great detective was listening in on the whole conversation. hearing every word that came out of your mouth, to say he stumbled upon your little talk on accident would be a lie—he doesn't go to such lengths without a reason. to say he's surprised by your type of men like your co-workers were would be another lie, but he's quite puzzled. if smart men are your type, why do you always seem to give the expression that you're disgusted by him? no matter, as a detective, it's his job to uncover every bit of mystery and solve for all the missing pieces.)
stepping out of the building, bidding farewell to your co-workers, and parting ways as you walk to your house, taking extra caution by putting your keys between your fingers in case you were to be stalked by someone, especially a certain someone you've been trying to avoid all day long...
"(naaameeeee)!!" and speak of the devil; he shows up to come and ruin your day just when you're about to go home—how fun. you let out a tired sigh and turned around to see ranpo running towards you at full speed. the sight set off alarm bells in your head, so on impulse, you tried to get out of his way and hoped he ran too fast that he ended up hitting a light pole straight in the face. yet it seems this day of yours wouldn't be so lucky, because suddenly he grabs your shirt, pulls you a little lower to his height, and then kisses you on the lips.
your eyes widen in shock, momentarily stunned for a second, before you feel your instincts kick in and roughly push him away.
"ranpo, what the fuc-!?"
suddenly you feel an unexpected impact hitting your chest, emitting a surprising noise from your mouth, making you cut off mid-sentence. ranpo buries his face underneath your chin, rubbing against your skin with his cheek like it's a pillow—opening your mouth. you tried to protest once more against him, but nothing came out. the sudden feeling of a pair of arms wrap around your torso and your arms holding you in a tight grip, sending the message that he doesn't want to let you go. after what felt like eternity to you, he looks up and shows you the poutiest expression you've ever seen him make.
"no! i'm not going anywhere, and neither are you! we're stuck together now; i'll make sure of it!"

He's gonna do it. He has to. What if he misses his chance? You already love him.
You just don't know it yet.
But the entire day at the office, someone steals your attention away. There's always someone standing at your desk, asking pointless things, chasing you around like a slave for things that could've been a fucking e-mail. Why do you need to go and copy something for Yaerin when she's got to working legs?
Maybe if she didn't wear those high heels she constantly trips in she would be able to do her job correctly. Or maybe she's simply a viper, trying to work you down until you burn out, unable to offer this place anymore of your energy. She's done it before. She'll do it again.
People like her disgust him. She's rotten to the core, especially considering how she constantly soils the office seats in the meeting room with her disgusting perfume every time she fucks another one of the higher ups in there. He knows it's happening, has walked in on her and a CEO once- and while he told her that her secret was safe with him, he really only did it to have something up his sleeve if he ever needed her for something.
Does that make him just as rotten as her? Maybe. But all is fair in love and war.
He can't help but fidget at this point, watching how you clearly try and stay nice to a coworker currently attempting to convince you to go drinking with everyone after this shift. You don't like karaoke, you don't even drink in social settings because it makes you anxious- Jungkook knows these things.
He would never ask something of you that you're not comfortable with- he'd take you out for your favorite fast food instead to eat it in the car while listening to crappy pop-songs on the radio. That's what you love.
You've mentioned it before. And he never forgets those things.
Who's that man to you anyways? He can sense the tenseness in your muscles as the guy leans on your table, clearly taking up space and showing that he's not going to leave anytime soon- and Jungkook feels his anger grow inside his chest. You don't like this guy. He needs to get him away from you.
"Uh- Steven, right?" Jungkook meekly asks, the man's face snapping to him with an annoyed smile.
"Yeah. What's up kook?" He jokes as if they're best buddies.
They're not. Jungkook couldn't care less if the guy died in a ditch.
"I think Yaerin wanted to talk to you about something being wrong with the calculations for last month?" Jungkook stammers, needing to uphold his image. And also, he can't help it- his emotions make him quiver a bit, muscles unable to stay still as he rubs his hands. "She said it's urgent." He presses.
That's actually only half a lie. It's not urgent- but that whore did want to talk to him about something. There probably won't be much talking involved except maybe a command to take his dick further down her throat- but Jungkook doesn't care what they do. The only thing he does care about is that he fucking leaves.
Which he does, finally, making Jungkook take in a deep breath as he watches the man walk off.
"Thank you so much." You say behind him, and when Jungkook turns around to look at you, you're gazing at him with such warm eyes he feels his trembling body levitate on nothing but thin air. Everything's alright again- if he could look at you like this for the next years of his life, he'd thank every god in existence for it. "I have.. a hard time telling people no." You sigh, running your hands over your face.
"That's.. that's fine." Jungkook nods, a little awkwardly, smiling back. "I'm not that.. good at it either." He chuckles, and you laugh along, already feeling a lot better.
"Do you.. uhm.." You look at your keyboard for a second before you lick your lips- is that new lipgloss you wear? Or did you eat something that stained them? Jungkook isn't sure, but he wants a taste. "Do you wanna.. grab a drink or two after work with me?" You wonder, rushing the sentence out, and Jungkook's lips part a little, eyes round and open as they stare you down with their boba-pearl charm.
"Uh- yes! Yes, sure!" He nods, closing his mouth, before he pats his pants, looking for his phone. "W-wait, I'll uh- I'll give you my number!" He rushes out, writing it down with trembling hands on a sticky note, before offering it to you, who smiles shyly.
"Alright!" You nod. "I'll.. see you tonight then?" You ask, and Jungkook nods, entire body set aflame.
"Tonight."
•━━━━━━━━━━•.♡.•━━━━━━━━━━━━•
He fucked up.
He fucked up.
He fucked up.
He's pacing in front of your door because you surely know. You had to have found out- there's no way you didn't. The moment you texted him, he knew you knew-
because he gave you the wrong number. In his panic, he gave you a number you already have.
Is the police on its way? Did you call the cops? Or another friend maybe to beat the shit out of him? You must be terrified, creeped out to no ends, and he can't blame you. What the hell did he even do? This isn't right.
"Jungkook?" You ask, ripping him out of whatever panicked episode he was going through, wild eyes staring at you who's looking at him with an unreadable expression.
It's quiet as you stare each other down, tension able to be cut with a knife for a good while, before you speak.
"You could've.. just said something." You mumble, and Jungkook isn't sure what you mean. There's a variety of things and situations this sentence could apply to- and he doesn't want to out himself if he's not caught yet. If there's just a simple chance of getting away with it, he will take it. "Do you... like me this much?" You ask, and he's swallowing thickly now.
You clearly want an answer, but he doesn't know in what context. What is he supposed to say.
"I mean, I knew something was off when.." you explain, playing with the strings of your hoodie as you fumble with your words. "When.. I wasn't scared." You admit.
"Because it was you all along."
His entire body grows cold, veins freezing over as he gets his confirmation. You know. You know, and you're probably going to tell him next that you've already asked for a restraining order-
Wait. What do you mean by you weren't scared?
"Do you want to.. come in with permission this time?" You ask, trying to lighten the mood, but he's confused. This isn't the reaction he thought he'd get.
"I-" he starts, stammers. "I'm sorry." He presses out. "I don't.. I just-" he fails to find appropriate words because he really doesn't know why he's like this. He knows it's a problem, he knows he's sick- it's obvious, that little sane part of him is aware of the pure wrongness of his actions up until now.
"I know." You say, nodding, before you step aside to let him inside.
"I can't." Jungkook denies. "I can't- I shouldn't, I'm not- don't let me in, don't ever let me in-" he worries, unsure what's wrong with him now. Is this what realization feels like?
If that's the case, he wants to go back to insanity, because this is torturous.
"Its fine." You reassure. "You're.. I'd really hate to see you leave right now." You deny, offering compassion. "You're not well right now." You say, and he agrees.
But he's never been well ever since he met you almost a year ago.
He'll never be well.
"You're too.. you shouldn't. I might hurt you." He explains in a hurry.
"You won't." You deny. You're not sure why you're so convinced about it- maybe because he's had the chance to hurt you so many times and didn't. Or maybe because you're so lonely that you'll take this love no matter how tainted it is.
"Please come inside." You ask once more.
And slowly, with great hesitance, does he enter your home, painfully wringing his hands as if to keep himself occupied.
"When my mom had a brain stroke, years ago, she changed a lot." You explain, walking in to fill up two glasses of water before you set them on the coffee table in the living room area, sitting down on the couch right after- inviting him.
He takes the invitation. His eyes sting with unshed tears.
"She suddenly hated me. Hated almost everyone." You remember. "The doctors said that it can happen. That if we.. injure just a tiny little specific part of our brains, our whole personality changes." You retell, and Jungkook listens, unsure where to look now.
He's been here before, but he's never seen the apartment with the lights on.
"But we still got along until she passed." You nod. "She went to therapy, and reconnected with me and her old friends." You say.
"I'm.. I think I know what you're suggesting-" he says, before he puts his face in his hands. "But I don't want to." He denies.
"Why not?" You worry with a soft tone. "Jungkook, you're not a bad person. You just need help." You offer.
"But what if my love for you is just mental illness?!" He yells out, panicked, eyes now leaking tears. "I don't want them to kill that. I want to stay- I want to stay sick if it means that I still love you.." he weeps, looking at you with desperation.
"Then we'll rebuild it." You shrug easily. "I'll make you love me again." You say, and Jungkook breaks.
"C-can I touch you?" He whimpers from the other side of the couch. "Just a bit?" He wonders, and you nod, opening your arms.

Evil, But Lame
(Why I dislike Leighton more than Bailey or Whitney)
DOL Character Analysis/Comparison (sort of)
Disclaimer:
This post contains Degrees of Lewdity (DOL) content and spoilers, as such sexual themes and violence. No minors allowed.
Please don't take the listed explanations below as 'excuses' for criminal behaviour. I am not defending or condoning the actions done by these fictional characters.
Also, the sprites are just the result of me fucking around Character Viewer + bad edits.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Everything and everybody sucks in DOLville (or my other favourite nickname - Rapechestershire), but in my books, Leighton deserves a special mention.
This dastardly disgusting failure of an educator cultivated within me a personal vendetta and now I always make it a point to antagonise them and make them the butt-monkey in all my playthroughs. The reasons are as follows:
They love to power-trip and lord it over students and teachers alike.
Their demeanour is so slimy. Compared to two other ‘villains’, he’s all gross but no substance (at this rate, their personality can be used as mediocre lube).
Bailey (the main villain) is impassive and mostly fearless, and Whitney (the school bully) is sometimes so over-the-top that it comes across as theatrical (which makes sense - they’re putting on a show for their gang and the nearby audience) that I don’t take them seriously (most of the time).
I currently have minimal info on Leighton’s backstory, but I have yet to see a ‘sympathetic’ reason for their actions and behaviour.
Leighton's victim count is high and he has been blackmailing/molesting students for decades, and it’s not a stretch to say that he’s probably a big reason why so many adults (Spoiler: D) in town are also traumatized or fucked up.
He revels in the current power structure and town dynamics, while Bailey (implicitly) and Whitney (explicitly) acknowledges how fucked up everything is.
Also, here’s a comparison (again, I only included Bailey and Whitney as these are the two ‘antagonistic’ characters I have the most interactions with):
Vs. Bailey
Bailey’s motivation is primarily money. They will blackmail you (among other things) for profit, whereas Leighton will blackmail you to satisfy his lust and ego.
I can respect Bailey's character (not his actions 😭) - they’re callous and ruthless, but they’re also strong and reliable. Personality-wise, I like that they’re impassive, calculating, and dangerous, fitting for the overarching villain. Bailey generally won’t regard you lustfully, unless you go out of the way to do so (cough Troublemaker cough). While steep, their payments do have a cap. Also, I personally believe they dislike orphans who play it safe to gain money because they themselves got their hands really dirty to make money (like the PC, potentially).
Defeating Bailey is also incredibly difficult...because they're impossibly fit and tenacious.
Leighton is petty (they will retaliate if you blackmail him), weak-willed, complacent, (his computer is easier to break into and he easily gets distracted by his own lust), and a serial molester (with a high victim count and long track record - it’s not a stretch to say that he’s probably a big reason why so many adults in town are also fucked up).
Defeating Leighton is way easier and he’ll throw a lame insult at you afterwards.
In terms of administration, I dare say Bailey’s better at running the Orphanage than Leighton running the School.
Spoiler: IIRC, Bailey was also an Orphan, he made the Orphanage better since the last caretaker, and he also has debt. I believe the money they collect from the orphans goes into that debt.
Vs. Whitney:
There’s little revealed about Whitney’s actual motivations but their demanding and bullying behaviour is most likely because of their personal circumstances, the need to gain status, and maintain the approval of their gang. In the most sympathetic light, they’re a neglected teenager who thinks being bigger and badder is the best way to protect themselves in a shitty town. Private moments (esp as an LI and w/o his gang’s influence) show they can be rather responsible and capable of showing concern for the PC.
By contrast, Leighton is an adult authority figure who perpetuates systematic abuse and currently shows no sign of remorse as this helps to keep themselves in power. With their backstory unrevealed, they’re just a pervert who likes preying on the young and vulnerable. They either view you as “Oh, you’re still here?” or “I’m gonna have my fun with youuu”🤮
As shown in some Whitney scenes, Leighton still has some sort of control over Whitney (they give Whitney lighter punishments in exchange for keeping other students in control, and even Whitney won’t refuse a summon from the Headteacher) and most likely has the means to harshly punish Whitney if they’re not useful to them anymore.
You can make Whitney pay for their crimes or retaliate against them, but Leighton, as a major figure in town, can easily get off scot-free (in most cases).
While Whitney will pimp you out (which I hate, they're my primary LI ffs, I really hope this improves in future updates), you can escape some encounters (if you have high Athletics or they have Low Dom) and he mostly does so for the money (they even split the profit with you in one encounter lol). Leighton will force you to have noncon sex (with other students or a freaking dog) as a punishment.
Tbh, both are bad: Whitney can also force you into noncon but they can be fought off easily and they often do so in the spur-of-the moment if you defy them (please don't interpret this as excusing this unhinged behaviour), but Leighton plans their attack, coerces multiple students, and records it for blackmail, which I think is more damaging to multiple parties and harder to navigate (game-wise).
Honestly, Whitney, if left unchecked and goes the criminal route, can probably end up similarly like Leighton (abusing power), but I imagine they’d be more dangerous and calculating as an adult (more similar to Bailey, but cockier).
And if you guys are interested, here’s what I’ve done as revenge so far 😈:
Overpowered him (as a Tiny MC) during his spanking detentions with an audience
Humiliated him and made them cum (Feat: Leighton’s Nightmare)
Eloped with someone else during the aftermath of their card game victory
Pegged them and took their butt v-card (in their own words: “Yes! Make me your strap-on bitch!”)
In progress: Sending him to the Pillory during the Police Infiltration quest
In conclusion: Leighton is a slime ball, currently has no sympathetic reasons for their behaviour, and is an old pervert with an ego. I also like picking on them but I have to say, my initial vehemence for them has now softened into petty annoyance (possibly even grudgingly fond).
If you read up to here, bless you. Gotta go make cream buns now.

I have been thinking about your no kill rule post and how Batman is criticized for it. I wonder if it is because he is deeply passionate about the no kill rule, but not under every writer.
In Batman: The Hill he says to Gordon over him feeling bad about killing a black 14 year old: "Don't be sorry. That boy was armed and dangerous. He died trying to commit murder."
Batman: The Hill only came out in 2000, only 5 years before Batman: Under the Hood which isn't a huge number of years when it comes to comics. In Batman: Under the Hood he screams in horror at the death of Captain Nazi and slices his son's throat to protect the Joker.
Jason is not a Bat at this time so it becomes why is the GCPD killing black teenagers okay but Red Hood killing white supervillains not okay. Captain Nazi was trying to kill them at the time. The Joker is a mass murderer. What makes the killing of these people less defensible to Batman?
The Doylist answer is arguably different writers but the Watsonian is him holding his kids to incredibly high standards compared to Gordon and the GCPD. He's not even upset with Gordon but he will beat Jason over this stuff (RHATO 25 (I think)). (and yes Batman was nearby when the kid was shot in Batman: The Hill)
My interpretation of Batman comes down to this: Batman won't kill. He will never condone killing. I've never read the comic you mentioned (and from what you've mentioned I don't think I ever will), but I cannot see Batman telling someone that it was fine that they killed, especially a child. It goes against everything he stands for. Batman is about rehabilitation and second chances and especially about helping the downtrodden. For him to comfort Gordon over killing a child, someone who probably is not a hardened criminal, is grossly against everything he stands for.
I don't think Batman has separate standards when it comes to his kids and Gordon. If he truly thought that it wasn't a big deal if the GCPD killed people, Batman wouldn't exist. One of the reasons he decided to become Batman was because the police force was corrupt. So, for him to excuse Gordon's actions is OOC. Maybe he takes it a little more personally when a kid of his does something like that, but his rule is very consistent across the board, and he will not comfort someone who killed by saying it's fine that they did it, especially if it was a child.
In my most generous interpretation, I don't think Batman would beat Gordon up about it, especially because Gordon is already regretful of what he did, and Batman believes in second chances. The thing with Jason is different because Jason wasn't regretful, he was actively trying to kill the Joker, and Bruce had to stop him. But for Bruce to say that the kid had it coming? That's wildly OOC. It goes against everything he stands for. This is the man who brought the Joker back to life because he was so strongly principled. There is no way he would stand there and say that shit about the death of a 14-year-old.
The Watsonian explanation for this is pretty much non-existent imho. Sometimes, the only explanation is the writers and that's it. I mean, Batman is no stranger to having writers who have wildly different interpretations of him side-by-side. Look at Frank Miller who, during the time when Batman was actually kind of lighthearted, decided to shit out the edgelord fantasy that was the Dark Knight Returns. I personally blame Frank Miller for everything that is wrong with Batman's characterization today. There is no way to reconcile that with the characterization of Batman that existed at the time, even if it wasn't exactly in the main continuity.
For characters like Batman who have existed for years and have had a variety of different writers, some of whom have shitty opinions about Batman and in general (Frank Miller), sometimes there are going to be stories that are so wildly OOC that you can't reconcile with the character. This seems like one of them.
Thank you for your ask!

PREFACE: this is just MY OPINION on some takes I've seen. This is meant to call out some team black fans who take things way too far and bully people, but I will not condone any kind of bullying or harassment in the comments. We can disagree, we can discuss our disagreements, but what we're not gonna do is bully or threaten people, okay?
Okay.
That being said, this is a friendly reminder that the Targaryens invaded a land that WAS NOT THEIRS then proceeded to take the things that they believed they had a divine right to through force and violence (aka their dragons, which are a metaphor for the weapons of mass destruction used in real wars). This is literally a metaphor for colonizers. GRRM wrote the dance of dragons as an anti-war commentary and made it clear that the Targaryens thinking that they're a divine race who are entitled to do whatever they want at the expense of the common man is a HORRIBLE WAY OF THINKING and this has gone completely over some of yall's heads.
Look, you can like whatever characters you wanna like for whatever reason! Nobody in HOTD is truly a good person, so there's no point in real people fighting with each other over it. But I'm tired of watching team black fans who justify their choice by saying this very thing proceed to bully and harass not only team green fans, but even the team green ACTORS because they don't like what the CHARACTERS did. Like, what happened to all of them being bad people?? And why call REAL people names, harass them, and even threaten them just because of what these FICTIONAL CHARACTERS did????
If it truly doesn't matter who you support because "they're all bad people", then why are you harassing REAL PEOPLE just because they don't like the same war criminals you do? "Both sides do bad things", so what moral high ground do you have over team green fans? One person on here said that some of y'all act like you're actually part of House Targaryen and it's true! If the Targaryens were real people who actually did these things, y'all defending them so staunchly would be worrying to say the least!
I love Aemond as a character, and I can understand his motivation for killing Luke, but I'll never defend him killing Luke because at the end of the day, children getting killed is unexcusable NO MATTER WHAT. I don't want to watch anything horrible happen to Rhaenyra's children any more than I want to watch Blood and Cheese happen to Helaena and her children. I love team green because I think they're interesting characters that I see a lot of myself in and I think that their actions make sense for the time period and circumstances they live in. However, I also look at their actions through a modern lens and would never condone some of the things they've done in real life.
Posting this bc I'm tired of seeing team green fans get called hypocrites while the people who claim to be feminists/progressives worship characters who represent the TOTAL OPPOSITE of feminism without a second thought. I'm tired of seeing certain fans make shitty takes saying that Alicent doing bad things "wouldn't be a problem if she would just own up to it!!", when team black fans go out of their way to justify Blood and Cheese and every other bad thing that their favs do.
Once again, keep the comments civil! if you start bullying or threatening people you're getting blocked and reported :)
#anti targ stans#house of the dragon#team green#i'm team green but i'm also team “war is terrible for everyone involved”#ESPECIALLY the common people who suffer the brunt of it while the people in power fight for no good reason#pro team green#putting the pro team green tag bc we are regularly under attack and need more support lol

"History of a drowning boy"- essay
Hello Everyone!
In this post, I'd like to discuss Des Nilsen's book, "History of a Drowning Boy". First, a little disclaimer: English is not my first language, and I don't publish my thoughts often, so I apologize in advance for any errors.
To the topic: I don't know how many of you have had the chance to read this book, but for those who have, you might already know that Des didn't write it to glorify his crimes. Instead, he wrote it to describe his life and ideas, drawing heavily from journals he kept. For me, this book can positively impact the way one perceives the world. It provides valuable insights not only into the mind of a killer but, more importantly, into the mind of a severely lonely human being deprived of the human connection he needed.
I understand that making contact with others is a basic skill for most of us, but considering the context of the times Des lived in—marked by significant homophobia, limited awareness of male victims of sexual assault, and scant recognition of mental health issues—forming healthy relationships could have been particularly challenging for him. He was a deep thinker with a very complex personality, as his book reveals.
Despite the crimes he committed, I believe it's important to extract valuable lessons from his life and what he left behind. For example, one notable sentence in his book concludes that being locked up is only a state of mind. Additionally, he wrote about efforts to prevent prison guards from violating basic human rights. He never disrespected or degraded them; he stated that he did not hate them but believed that every prisoner deserves their rights to be respected, especially since he had already received his punishment (life imprisonment). This underscores the issue of power abuse common in prisons.
In summary, I do not condone any of Dennis Nilsen's crimes, but I believe his book deserves attention beyond just the True Crime community because of its broader implications. It serves as a warning and reminder to care for our mental health and to recognize that criminals, despite their actions, are also humans who experience emotions, pain, and struggles. It's important to remember that none of us are born evil, and wrongdoing does not automatically transform us into monsters.
Please share your thoughts, and let’s engage in a mature discussion rather than resorting to offensive remarks. I believe we are capable of discussing complex topics in a respectful, adult manner. Take care!

HATE 6: BABOOSHKA (M) I MYG x F!reader
"So she arranged a place to go. To see. If he. Would fall for her incognito"
Seven Moons Mansion, Seoul, South Korea
You sighed in relief when you heard Jin say that Suga had left in the morning to oversee a gun shipment that was going to be sent from Russia and probably wouldn't be back for days.
The six remaining brothers ate breakfast together in the dining room. The walls were painted a deep shade of burgundy, with framed black and white photos of the Clan's story hanging.
You could also see some pictures of them scattered on the walls. It would be really cute if you weren’t also looking at the young faces of Asia’s Most wanted criminals.
On the table, there are several dishes of traditional Korean cuisine, including kimchi, bulgogi, and bibimbap all made for you by a private chef. The dishes are arranged on black ceramic plates, with elegant chopsticks and small bowls of dipping sauces placed alongside them. In one corner of the room, there is a small bar, stocked with a variety of top-shelf liquors and a few bottles of Soju…
All the details you rather think about to prevent your mind from remembering last night.
You were absolutely not going to think about how good his fingers felt on your skin.
Or how good he made you feel with his…
Oh, fuck.
The Lieutenant would be so proud of you that she would personally take charge of shooting you.
That if she found out...
Something that wasn't going to happen, because there was no way that you’ll write on the report that you fucked one of the mission's main targets on your second night in Korea. Your common sense had decided to fly off to Fiji for a permanent vacation the moment Suga kissed you.
Or did you kiss him?
Shit.
You knew that you were acting like a rookie
But you had to kiss him even if you did it just once. You had to know how his lips would feel on yours, his hands on your body.
You just had to know...
🌙🌙🌙🌙🌙🌙🌙
It was 3AM in the morning when you woke up, bodies tangled on his bed, it just felt so right and so absolutely wrong and out of place. Suga was still sleeping, breathing slowly like he didn’t have a care in the world. You rose from the bed and left the dark bed sheets fall from your body.
You felt like a teenager in college about to walk the walk of shame for the first time.
But instead of the hormone-filled hallways of the mid western university you attended and could only stand for a month. You were about to do that same walk of shame on the dark hallways of a 20 Bedroom Mansion in the outskirts of South Korea.
You swear it would be the last time you'd done something like that.
Right?
Did you mention those rooms were also filled with blood thirsty criminals?
Your mind stopped wandering for a second when you heard heavy footsteps walking towards Suga’s bedroom.
He told you no one went to that side of the house.
Did He lie?
Because someone was getting closer to the very much open door.
You had to get out of there.
And you had to get out fast.
You turned around to see Suga awake and wide eyed looking at you half dressed. You didn’t need to say it to each other, you both knew if someone saw you there you were both dead. He motioned for you to stay right where you were standing next to the bed, so he could peek into the hallway.
But you couldn't wait and risk someone seeing you like this, what were you going to say? What were they reading poetry Half naked? Or that you had a spider under your skirt and he tried to kill it by taking all of your clothes and his clothes off?
Well, he kind of did that.
The point is that if you said you weren't doing what you seemed to be doing. No one was going to believe you.
Because you were doing exactly what you seemed to be doing.
So you did the only logical thing you could think of at the time.
If the door wasn't an option...
You were going to jump off the balcony and into the gardens on the first floor.
It wouldn't be the first time you'd done something like that.
So you did.
You fell on heavily your feet and did not quite lose your balance. When you looked up you could see the face of panic and astonishment with which Suga was looking at you from his balcony. He definitely didn't expect you to do something like that.
You brushed the dust off your knees and continued walking towards your bedroom. As you went up to the second floor, you managed to see a tall figure entering the darkness of the corridors of the west wing of the mansion.
The moonlight hit his face for just a second and in that moment you could clearly see who it was...
What is Kim Namjoon doing outside at this time of night?
Although it was dark, you could also see that his shirt was stained with blood and for a second you were tempted to follow him to find out more, but it had been too much adrenaline for one night.
And you really didn't want to get caught.
🌙🌙🌙🌙🌙🌙🌙
“Miss Nari, did you sleep well?” the voice of a smiling Jimin brought you out of your thoughts from the other side of the table.
“I don't think she did. I mean, she couldn’t have if she was walking around the house at 3AM in the morning” Taehyung replied, staring at you right next to his brother.
He saw you...
Everybody else on that table wasn't really paying attention to Taehyung but he kept going at you like he was on a mission “But what I don't understand is why use the windows as an exit. You do know that Suga-Hyung's door is always open, right miss Nari?” the blue-haired man shrugged his shoulders with a giggle and you looked at him with panic on your face.
Hearing that, Jin choked on the rice he had just put in his mouth and Jhope was about to spit out his toast with egg and jam.
The whole table was now looking at you in surprise.
Shit. Shit. Shit.
Everyone except Namjoon, who let out an incredulous laugh “Taehyung, don't tell me you're trying the merchandise again. To think that Miss Nari would be jumping out of the windows of the house is so ridiculous that it is disrespectful. Apologize to her.” he said the last thing as an order, the deep dragon eyes of the clan’s right hand were undoubtedly one of the most intimidating things you had ever seen.
Taehyung immediately understood his older brother's tone and swallowed thickly “I'm sorry, Miss Nari. It was just a joke” he looked at you with a bored expression.
This guy definitely hated you and for no reason.
"Don't worry, it's okay" you replied trying to smile at him and continued eating your breakfast as if it were the most interesting thing in the world.
The rest of the meal was spent in complete silence, which made most of them quite uncomfortable.
“Princess Nari, you must be excited today, your formal work within the clan begins” Jhope was the first to dare to speak “You will go with Namjoon and Jin to some boring meetings at the office. But tonight will be so exciting at the club. It has been very long since the last time we were all together having fun”
Ah yes, the Club.
Serendipity was the most exclusive club in all of Seoul. It was no surprise it belonged in the hands of the clan and was managed by none other than Park Jimin.
If you want to spend an exciting night in the city you just had to look for him.
“Every night in my club is entertaining, Hobi-hyung, you know very well about that” the blond glanced at his brother “but it will be much more fun if we can all be there, Jin-hyung hasn't been there for a long time. Maybe it’s time to dust off those terrible dance steps” now everyone was laughing out loud as Jin yelled at the youngest.
You had only known them for a short time, but you were surprised by the family warmth they all had when they were together. Right now inside the privacy of their home they didn't look like criminals. Sometimes when they were like that they really did look like a bunch of brothers.
That almost made you smile.
Before you remembered that each and every one of those men had blood on their hands.
None of them were innocent.
And each and every one them had to pay for their crimes.
“Excuse me, I'm going to get ready to go to the office. See you tonight guys” You made a small bow ready to leave the dining hall, when someone grabbed your arm from behind.
“Allow me to go with you, Miss Nari, I would like to speak with you for a second” Namjoon was right next to you without giving you time to say anything else, taking you by the arm and out of the dining room.
Namjoon looked around and with large steps led you to a corridor that was completely empty to push you against a wall. You could see an emotion in his eyes that you could not decipher “I don't want to have to tell you this again, but whatever you were doing last night. Will not happen again. Are we clear?” The voice of the young leader was deep almost like a growl coming from his chest and you could only nod.
He had seen you too.
“I don't know what stupid fantasy my idiot brother has made you believe. But Miss Nari” he let out a little exasperated sigh “He's not a person, he's a monster, for your own good stay away from him. Everything Suga touches, he destroys. Believe me he is not good for you”
Are you jealous, Kim Namjoon? you raised an eyebrow at the tought.
“And you are, Namjoon? I mean, are you good for me?” Finding your voice again, you shot the question with an expression as cold as ice. That took the man by surprise “And to be honest with you, Namjoon. I really don't know what you're talking about. Because I definitely wasn't the one who was sneaking away in the halls with a bloody shirt. That was you.” he opened his eyes in surprise and you continued "I get it, you're a gangster. You were probably giving someone a one way ticket to their next life. But you looked kind of nervous last night. So if you ask me, I don't think you were doing Right Hand ganster business. Am I wrong?"
If he had seen you, you also saw him.
And you knew you were walking a thin line before falling off the cliff.
Namjoon set his jaw and tightened his grip on your arm “You are playing with fire Lee Nari and let me tell you something… andyou are about. To. Get. Burnt” He bit every word of that sentence, making himself very clear that he was threatening you.
“So how is it? I must be afraid of Suga but not of you, even though you're hurting my arm and you just threatened me” although you and Namjoon were impossibly close, you took a step closer to be able to whisper in his ear. Yes, you were playing with fire. But what the right hand didn't know is that you really liked the burn “As see it, we both didn't see anything last night because neither of us were where we were.”
He was listening carefully to your words while drowning you with his gaze. You knew he was waiting for you to continue “I also remember that I told you to call me by my name. Because we're friends right, Namjoon? We are together in this” You say stepping away from him and releasing yourself from the man's grasp in a single movement “I'm going up to get ready for today, I understand that your father wants you to show me the offices. See you in a bit, Namjoon. I am really looking forward to getting to know eachother more” you said with a smile and a wink before turning to walk to your bedroom.
Namjoon chuckled, stupefied.
It was actually funny to him.
No one had ever dared to challenge him like that. Not his own brothers, not even Jin who was two years older than him had the nerve to talk to him like that.
And after that moment you became a fun game that this man was willing to play.
Because for Kim Namjoon there was no one who would not bow down to his power.
It would be fun for him to tame this little brat.
After all, he was used to having everything he wanted.
He would be the heir to the clan.
And you would be his.
He was going to make sure of that personally.
Even if he had to get his hands dirty.
Again.
🌙🌙🌙🌙🌙🌙🌙
BH Group Headquarters, Gangnam, Seoul, South Korea.
The luxurious office is situated on the top floor of the towering skyscraper that belongs solely to the BH Group, The Seven Moon’s legal business front. The elevator doors open up to a spacious and sophisticated reception area, decorated with marble floors, plush velvet sofas, and a cascading waterfall feature.
Namjoon, ushered you into a private elevator reserved for the clan's top executives. As the elevator ascends, you catch glimpses of the sprawling cityscape through the floor-to-ceiling windows.
It was beautiful.
We’re not in Kansas anymore, you thought, feeling impressed by the opulence of the office and the power that comes with it.
But as you look around the lavish office, you can't shake the feeling that you were being watched.
That you were in danger.
But this was what you came here to do.
Looking at your surroundings, everything seemed normal, mundane. You had to be a member of the mafia, or an undercover INTERPOL agent, to realize what was really going on behind the incessant noise of photocopiers and constant clicking in every cubicle.
Only a highly trained eye could tell that some of the employees weren't really working, they were just pretending to.
If you looked closely enough, you could see the fact that some of those employees were wearing far too many items of clothing, as if they were trying to hide a clan mark or tattoo.
But Jhope was right, for the rest of the day you were totally bored.
The unnecessarily formal presentations and spending the entire afternoon listening to bootlicking executives presenting their departments. All while you just had to smile and look pretty.
The perfect, educated heiress.
This day had completely drained your energy.
“Miss Nari, this is Grace Rogers, she also comes from America and will be your assistant from today” Namjoon's deep voice made you come out of your trance, he took your hand to take you to an office at the end of the hall.
Inside it was a petite blonde typing rapidly on her computer while talking on the phone with perfect Korean pronunciation.
Wow, to think that I can hardly pass myself off as a native.
The woman stopped everything she was doing when she realized the presence of the new arrivals. Taking a good look at her, you thought she might be on the cover of a fashion magazine, dressed in a distinctly designer navy blue suit that matched her eyes.
She was tiny, the amount of papers, folders and screens almost did not let you see her on the other side of the desk. But when she smiled she had an aura that covered the entire room. Grace Rogers had an air of confidence, like a woman who's used to swimming with sharks.
But what caught your attention about the woman was the amount of gold she was carrying. Rings, earrings and at least three chains.
You have seen that before.
But couldn’t remember where.
And before you knew it Grace was hugging you too enthusiastically.
“A pleasure to meet you Miss Lee, I'm at your service for whatever you need” That's when you noticed a small detail, behind her effusive greeting and even bigger smile was a slight Slavic accent.
Polish?
No.
Russia?
Maybe.
Namjoon looked at the blonde as if he was already used to her behavior “Grace will be at your disposal for everything you need. And she will accompany you in some of your family tasks. Also she will make sure that you adapt perfectly to your new life with us” he emphasized in the last two words.
“Of course! I hope we will be great friends from now on. These boys are too all work, no play.” It was almost imperceptible but it was there, that accent. You narrowed your eyes a little but returned the greeting with a short curtsy.
"Likewise, it's a pleasure for me too, Grace. Call me Nari, please" He told her and the blonde winked at her.
"It's a fact, Nari. By the way, I love that Chanel dress, that white lily tone reminds me of one that I bought two summers ago in the south of France” Her entire expression said complicity, there was something else in her words but you weren't sure what.
Unless…
The hell? you thought, your dress was definitely not white.
It was lilac.
Wait a minute, white lilies in the south of France?
Oh...
Oh shit.
Blue-eyed blonde.
Russian.
Her name is not Grace Rogers.
This woman was Anya Drozdov.
Your second informant.
Anya works for Interpol.
And sje just told you the code phrase to identify her.
Oh shit, really.
You gave her a wide smile now, letting her know that you understood.
Namjoon looked confused at the exchange between the two of you but before he could say anything Seokjin joined you.
“Namjoon they are waiting for us in the meeting room, father wants to discuss something important” Jin stopped in front of the three of them in the office corridor “Oh, Hi Grace, do you think you can take over from here?”
“Of course, boss, I'm sure Miss Lee, sorry Nari must not have had lunch. Also, I'm sure you haven't taken her for a tour of Seoul yet” Her accent had completely disappeared, Anya had realized that you also recognized her.
“Is it okay with you, Miss Nari?” Namjoon asked feeling unsure
“Yes, I'm starving.” you gave him a little smile “and I would also like to visit Seoul. It is been a while since the last time I came here”
"Perfect then. Grace, please take her shopping for a dress for tonight. I would have loved to do it myself, but my father doesn't like us making him wait.” Namjoon took out his black credit card from his wallet and gave it to you with a wink “See you later, Miss Nari.” You heard Jin chuckle behind him and tried not to roll your eyes, amused that the Right Hand believed that his rich boy bad boy technique was going to work for you.
Two can play that game.
“Oh I’ll make sure to get something especially pretty for tonight” you said the last two words without breaking eye contact with the Right Hand “See you later, Namjoon, Jin-ssi” you could see the gears on Namjoon’s mind turning when you gave him the most innocent smile you could ever fake.
It actually made your stomach cringe.
He really is into the innocent kind.
Gross.
"And try not to cause too much trouble, Rogers." Namjoon added before getting lost as he crossed the corner of the hallway not even looking back at you. Jin was right behind him with an amused grin as he witnessed his brother get all flustered by a mere smile.
To think they were both going up to interrogate and possibly torture an informant in his father’s office. But yeah, there goes Namjoon giggling like a schoolgirl.
When Anya and you were alone again she started to walk towards the employee elevator. You noticed that you were surrounded by an army of bodyguards, all dressed in tailored suits and sporting earpieces all following “The Boss’s orders” and you couldn’t help but wonder which one. “I'm going to take you to a Korean food place that I'm sure you'll like and then we're going to…”
Once you got in the elevator the bodyguard army let you ride alone and you took the chance to greet Anya in Russian “It has been a while, right?” you interrupted the short woman and she shot you a serious look, hardening her expression and stopping her smile for the first time since you had met her.
“Not here, Princess Nari” she looked up at the surveillance camera on the corner of the elevator above you. They didn’t have one in the first one you got on. Maybe the top executives of BH really didn’t want to be seen entering the building. “The driver and your bodyguards are waiting for us in the parking lot” she continued speaking in Korean and gave you a big smile again.
Not here...
Princess Nari.
Why would she call you that?
This day was definitely getting a lot more interesting.
The elevator doors opened and you stepped out into the parking lot where three men were waiting for them in front of a black Lincoln SUV. In that moment you knew two things: one the car was heavily armored and the bodyguards would leave you alone for long enough to talk.
Meanwhile Anya chattered non-stop on the way to the restaurant and kept talking all through the meal. Mentioning completely trivial facts like her favorite Korean food, her opinion on New York Fashion Week, even why in her opinion MARVEL was ruining their own superhero movies.
You knew what Anya was doing, she was tiring the bodyguards with all the chatter that could go through her head.
She was making them drop their guard and stop listening to their conversation.
It was necessary, but it didn't make it any less insufferable.
By the time you got to the Boutique none of the bodyguards could hear another word. Now you could finally talk about what was important. All the information that Anya had collected so that you could fulfill her mission.
That was Anya's specialty.
She went from one personality to another, with the same ease that a chameleon could change colors. That made it the perfect element to adapt to any situation.
She could pose as any role assigned to her by headquarters.
An American woman working as the director of public relations at a Korean multinational? It was a perfect identity for her.
She's an expert at playing the role of a high-powered executive, attending meetings and making deals with ease. But beneath the surface, she's always alert and ready to act at a moment's notice.
Always carrying a concealed gun.
You know, if you’re always ready… you don’t have to get ready.
Anya is the type of girl you do not fuck with.
She had been there for a year and had already earned the trust of the two young leaders in charge of the BH group. Even Namjoon considered her a friend.
Anya was famous at the training center for her skills.
But despite her ability to go undercover and her chameleonic personality. Anya was loyal in every sense of the word, she cared for her loved ones like no one else and had a special kink for revenge when someone tried to hurt them.
That was perhaps because Anya had also grown up in crime.
She was the daughter of a Russian mafia boss who had been imprisoned a few years ago in an Interpol maximum security prison and her mother had been kidnapped and sold on the skin market.
That completely destroyed her.
That's why she vowed never to get involved with a clan again.
Some old habits take a little longer to break than others, and her skills were of great use to Interpol's organized crime unit. So here you were: both agents, in an exclusive boutique in Seoul buying an evening dress that would bring down even the strongest of the men of that clan.
“Hello, welcome to our boutique. '' They were greeted by a strikingly beautiful woman in her late twenties with long, dark hair, piercing eyes and a pointy nose that you thought you had seen before.
“Nari, This is Jung Garam, she is the owner of this boutique and my roommate”
The woman gave you a little bow before introducing herself “It's a pleasure to meet you. Miss Lee, we were waiting for the arrival of the princess of our clan”
Princess.
There was that name again.
That's when you saw it.
A small tattoo of a Moon covered by clouds that adorned Anya’s wrist.
Pointing out the oath of allegiance she had taken.
The symbol of the Seven Moons.
Anya had sworn allegiance to the clan.
But why?
Princess Nari.
You knew you had heard someone call you that before.
Oh fuck
Anya what were you thinking?

Your husband sucks and you should leave him. Politics are personal and there will come a time when his violent beliefs get turned against you. Really, by actively supporting causes meant to specifically disenfranchise you, he already has. You are not above this.
Maybe I should put a note on that post linking to answers. I appreciate that people are worried. We're all worried. But you're misunderstanding what I'm trying to say, and honestly I'm kind of sad for everyone who has such strict black and white views about people that they've cut off so many potential connections. The ironic thing is that that's exactly what the GOP has been trying to do in their campaigns lately-- trying to Other entire groups of people. Illegal immigrants (and even just immigrants). Trans people. People who live in those Crime-infested Cities (ie non-white people). But you know they do that already. That's why you hate them.
You can't allow yourself to be like that, even in opposition to them. The GOP party is an authoritarian nightmare right now, and yes, voting for them is dangerous, for some groups more than others, but for all of us in the long run. But it wasn't always this way-- and I'm not even talking about how the parties switched which was the liberal one and which was the conservative one in the mid 20th century. I'm not saying there weren't always horrible people IN the Republican party (but it's not like there haven't been horrible people in the Democratic party either-- heck, Trump himself used to be a Democrat), but they weren't so BLANTANTLY TRUMPETING the awfulness, so lots of, yes, GOOD people were and are Republicans.
NO, HEAR ME OUT.
My grandma, several of my aunts and cousins-- kindest people you'll ever meet-- they firmly believe(d) (my grandma's long gone now) that abortion is murder. They're fierce Pro-Lifers. Now, they'd never bomb a Planned Parenthood clinic or even harrass people going to one-- and in before you say "Yeah, but they're on their SIDE so they EFFECTIVELY support those actions" -- I KNOW THAT, and I also know that criminalizing abortion just gets MORE people killed and offering AID to struggling mothers through progressive programs actually prevents way MORE abortions so it's BETTER to have progressives in office if you REALLY want to stop it-- but that's not my point! My point is these women in my family are so passionate about stopping what they believe is wanton slaughter of the innocents that they've fully bought into the propaganda that paints organizations like Planned Parenthood as heartless murderers, that people who say "I don't think abortion should be illegal" are condoning murder, and it paints their political views. They so believe that they're SAVING lives that they frankly don't BELIEVE that anyone on their side about abortion could be responsible for SO MUCH MORE DEATH through the REST of the party's platform.
(This is the one that gets me-- we're Catholic, right? You gathered that with my fiercely Pro-Life family members? The official Catholic Pro-Life stance is NOT just anti-abortion, not even just anti-abortion and anti-birth control-- it's ALSO anti- death penalty and pro- protecting the environment! Do you EVER see the supposedly "Pro-Life" politicians fighting for THOSE last two issues???? OF COURSE YOU DON'T, because it's all political propaganda serving the politicians themselves! But that doesn't erase the GENUINE feelings of Stopping the Slaughter that these devotedly Pro-Life women I know have!)
Propaganda is designed to take advantage of people's emotions. It's designed to make people support bad things by convincing them that the things are good instead. Take, for example, a political ad I heard the other day that really riled me up. It was trying to get people NOT to vote for the other guy (it was a state representative race I think? Not for my county) by saying "He signed a bill allowing BIOLOGICAL MEN to compete in girls' sports and even SHARE A LOCKER ROOM with OUR GIRLS!" I actually yelled at the radio, "Did you SERIOUSLY just SAY THAT? Right there on the RADIO?" The thing is, I'm on Tumblr all the time, I KNOW how offensively that statement warps the concept of letting trans girls play girls' sports, but someone who DOESN'T actually know any trans people or follow trans rights matters is not going to see through these carefully chosen words so easily-- the use of "men" vs. "girls," as if all the kids involved weren't the same age; the use of "OUR" girls, positing these so-called "biological men" as outside forces endangering OUR FAMILIES, never mind that those "biological men" are all someone else's "our girls." But if you don't know the truth, it really sounds like you're protecting your loved ones by embracing what is actually anti-trans rhetoric.
No one is immune to propaganda, as the meme says. If you don't have experiences to challenge it, if you don't make a point of recognizing its techniques, you'll fall for it, and a lot of good people have fallen for it. That's just one example. There's hundreds, thousands of instances on all sides of politics and even in matters that aren't considered political-- advertising in general really. The one that suckered my husband in is "socialism=Communism=Fascism." We grew up during the Cold War, and he loved/loves the action movies of the time, in which the Bad Guys were basically always The Communists. A steady diet of all that and now you cannot convince him that there's a difference between a progressive government-run assistance program and Stalin-- so much that he's now, despite his wife and two kids' insistence otherwise, certain that the current Democratic party, because it supports government aid programs, is a bigger threat to freedom than the party embracing the guy who outright promises to punish all his political enemies and holds up dictators as his role models. Because SOCIALISM IS COMMUNISM IS ANTI-AMERICAN.
That's where he's messed up. Yeah. I am not for one second saying his belief is valid. I am not for one millisecond saying his votes or anyone else's votes for those fascists won't have very dangerous consequences. And I'm not happy about it! But that still doesn't turn him into a stereotypical wife-beating gay-bashing neo-Nazi ("you just haven't had the chance to see him that way! You just wait!" I've known him 25 years. I've seen him grieving, drunk, furious, overjoyed, giddy, you name it. You don't even know what his name is).
The reason I insist on replying, and on even reblogging that initial post in the first place, is I want us all to be real clear on who the enemy is here. We're in a scary place in this country with people being pitted against each other. If the tyrants win the election we're all in deep trouble. But if they don't, they're going to rile up their party into thinking they've been wronged somehow, they're going to encourage violence, and some people will act on it; and here's where we get to my point: MOST conservatives, who've been sucked into the party for one seemingly justified reason or another, ARE NOT GOING TO BE THAT WAY. You honestly think my sweet-tempered aunt is going to storm the Capitol with a pipe bomb because she believes abortion is murder? Even my husband the gun nut disapproved of the January 6th debacle.
But if WE, the ones who already know how badly their support of the current GOP sucks, refuse to love these moderate Republicans anyway, insist that they're no better than the worst of their party, turn them away, make them our enemies? Where are they going to turn? Right, to the extremists, who will say "We told you so, we were RIGHT to hate those Lefties, see? JOIN US IN OUR QUEST FOR VENGEANCE!"
Yes, they are already supporting awful proposals with awful consequences. But how will they ever see the error of their ways if their only friends are the ones who will encourage them to be so much worse?
The enemy is not the average conservative. The enemy is the "news" organizations, the billionaires with agendas, the power-hungry politicians, who have brainwashed the average conservative into believing electing a megalomanic idiot is actually a good idea. If you are actually in an abusive situation with a gung-ho conservative then by all means GET OUT. But chances are there are many more conservatives who just need to see that there's a better way, and who's going to show them that way but you?

More of My Thoughts on Young Sheldon Season 7 . . .
I absolutely love seeing Sheldon's signature style blossoming! HE'S SO CUTE OMG.
"So, you condone cheating?" "Yeah. . . but with a wink." "I don't like winking either!" "What is wrong with winking?" "At the end of the day it leaves you with an uneven number of blinks per eye!"
Sheldon is the sweetest, purest boy in the entire world! He must be protected at all costs! 😩 I am absolutely enjoying watching Sheldon come of age and go through the awkward stage of puberty! Sheldon is already awkward as a baseline, but to see him in his teenage stage is like super cringe AND I LOVE EVERY MOMENT OF IT. From his disobeying his Momma to ride throughout Germany on a train, getting chased throughout the countryside by a tiny dog, having weird social encounters with his peers, creating sentient algorithms - well maybe this is just a day in the life of Sheldon Cooper, but it is makes it so much funnier with him all legs and limbs from his growth spurt, and his not-a-boy-not-quite-a-man vibes going on. I think it is so freak'in adorable, and I am SO UPSET that this season is going to be really short!
I just have to get this out or else I will just keep harping on it Sheldon Cooper style, but it is really upsetting that we didn't get a few more seasons of this show. I really wanted more of Sheldon in Germany (criminal how little we got of his stay there!) and I just need more Sheldon in general! There are too many storylines happening at once which is taking from the show's main focus - ahem! 🤨 My baby string bean! Instead all of these storylines could have been fleshed out with an even pace while we still being able to journey with Sheldon through his experiences. THIS SHOW IS CALLED YOUNG SHELDON I SHOULD BE GETTING SO MUCH MORE SHELDON CONTENT THAN THIS. *ahem* Anyway! Now that is out of my system, I do want to highlight one point of the story so far. I am not exactly sure where the end of this season will leave our Sheldon. I am noticing, though, that there does seem to be a separation happening between Sheldon and the rest of his family. Is this intentional? This could just be the result of all the colliding storylines, but if it is intentional... 😯 With the kids growing up, Meemaw losing her home, CeeCee, the wedding, and all the changes going on, Sheldon is no longer the center of his family's attention. Considering this whole show has emphasized how the family household has revolved and made their decisions around Sheldon and how this fact has effected both Missy and Georgie growing up, I don't see how this can't be a significant development. "I returned home from Germany with a family that no longer cherished me," Sheldon bemoans through his narration. This leads him back to his college dorm, where he unexpectedly meets what's-his-name and develops a little circle of computer science pals. (Why does Sheldon have better chemistry and endearing bonding moments with literally every other person in his life except Leonard??) Then when Sheldon and his friends create a trading algorithm that starts to develop independent actions, the comparison is made to Frankenstein's monster to which Sheldon indicates that that is actually a positive comparison. "You were on the Monster's side??" his new friend asks incredulously. "Unfairly hounded for being different? You betcha!" This ostracization that Sheldon feels is such a fundamental aspect of his life, and considering what is about to happen and that it will catapult him to Caltech, I can't help but see this as an indication of the catalyst forming. It breaks my heart to have to see Sheldon go through this, and makes me concerned for how they will resolve this in the show. The story is going to be ending on the lowest part of Sheldon's life. He loses his father, leaves to California all by himself (Tam doesn't come with him), he's estranged from his brother, and he is alone for many years before he meets his friends. The bond of family is such a profound piece of Young Sheldon, I just don't see how they are going resolve this schism that is between Sheldon and his family. And I don't know how they are going to do it in 8 episodes. 😕 I guess we will find out!
Random Thoughts: - I wonder if Meemaw's situation with Dale is morphing into her coming to her senses and she and John Sturgis will get back together! I would be so upset if there is no resolution to John Sturgis' storyline! - I kind of ship Missy and Billy! 🥰 I think they are both really cute together! - I really like Pastor Jeff this season! He seems a little edgier as a character, much more fun! Although, I still think he needed to seriously apologize for what he did to Mary, though, how he (and the church) treated her regarding Georgie and Mandy's situation. 😒 - I do really enjoy how American evangelicalism and religious culture has been handled in this show, though. It is both truthful and hilarious commentary, even while treating the characters as real people and not caricatures to ridicule. Of course my favorite aspect of this show is the relationship of Mary Cooper and Sheldon, and how their worldviews both clash and shape one another, so I was already impressed on their handling of Christian characters. This season has been so funny, though! The whole Baptists vs Catholic feud over CeeCee's baptism was so on point! OMG. 😄👌
My Favorite Sheldon Cooper Quotes: German Police Officer: "It is okay, young man, we can speak English." Sheldon: "Not as well as my German, so stay with me!" *continues ranting in German* (Damn, Iain Armitage killed it with the German dialogue in this episode! I always love it when Sheldon speaks other languages with ease!) "Well, that was Chernobyl adjacent."
Cheater Guy: "Oh, so what is the girl situation here?" Sheldon: "Oh! I don't do that either." Cheater Guy: "You into guys?" Sheldon: "I'm into science! Everything else is a distraction." (That's my boy!!) Mary: "Shelly, everything okay?" Sheldon: "No, it is not! Both my computer and my trust have been betrayed!" George: "Well, okay. We are with company now so you can fill us in later." Sheldon: "I won't ruin your dinner with the suspense! Evan updated my computer!" Georgie: "Let me ask you a question. Can you un-baptize somebody?" Sheldon: "Since it is a magical ceremony that doesn't mean anything, then sure why not? In the name of science and reason I unbaptize you!" *makes the sign of the Cross* Georgie: "No! Not me! Put it back!" Sheldon: "Oh, okay! Control C, you're baptized." (This cracked me up so much! I think it is my ultimate favorite Georgie/Sheldon moment now! THESE BOYS ARE SUCH DWEEBS I LOVE THEM!)
