#the real tea is that my brain operates purely on vibes and gets locked in very hard #if I’m interested in someone I tend to stay interested in them forever #but by the same coin if someone doesn’t strike my interest immediately they can’t do much to change my mind #I wouldn’t consider myself a romantic at all but all of my long term relationships began with sparks flying #I have changed my perspective on people before but only on a friendship level #my current fwb is a good example he’s poly so he left the door open for our fwb sitch to evolve if I was interested #and I def considered it for a long while but while he’s very hot and I get along with him great as a friend we did not have sparks #and trying to cultivate romantic feelings for him just didn’t happen much to my own dismay #he’s truly great I really don’t see where the disconnect between us is #I’m trying to therapy my way through this just because I get incredibly frustrated when I don’t understand something about myself #but I’m also really not too panini pressed about it love will come and go as it pleases #I got soooooo many baby to lovins in the meantime 😍😍😍

Like how you called linda park pretty. usually many women of color are never recognised for their great beauty in comparison to their white counterparts. she is korean, sadly now with nu trek, the show is obsessed with making women of color very ugly and masculine. look at the new uhura from strange new worlds, she is made to look like a man and is very unattractive. a far cry from the iconic nichelle nichols from TOS, Who became a ground breaking female character. so just want to say from a star trek fan thank you for praising the beauty of women of colour.

Haha well, I'm glad to provide, even though I mostly keep what I draw generally historical.

I'm honestly surprised that there isn't much in the way of Bird and Magic fanfic and fanart, just looking at how perfectly Sports Manga their story and dynamic are. 2 dudes who are complete opposites (one of them enthusiastic and sunshiney, the other shy and gloomy) but also mirrors of each other, whose rivalry reignited a league, who were constantly secretly thinking of each other and comparing themselves to each other, but who, on the rare occasions they played together, had an astounding on-court chemistry, who went from hated rivals to close friends. "Courtship of Rivals" could've been a Sports Anime, right down to the Rival Character (Bird) having a tragic past.

I joke to partner that part of the reason is that Bird isn't a pretty man haha Imagine if the guy was hot, things might be a little different

Anyway, if anyone sees any fan art or whatever of either of them feel free to send it my way, or talk to me about these guys. They make me happy.
