To my understanding, show dogs and racehorses have the same kind of a "no two animals with the same exact name in the registry" rule, so they have to get creative with the official names.

And that's why pedigree show dogs have full legal names like Lotus Farms' Pilgrim's Light (answers to the name "Piggy"), and champion race horses have names like Cocaine Canoe Nutcracker Supreme (answers to no man nor god).

I dont mean to sound like a snob but when i join a sub meant to be about german shepherds, I want to see german shepherds. I dont want to see your 13% GSD 87% bully mutt. I have seen so many fucking "shepsky" posts it drives me insane. I have absolutely no problem with mixed breeds. I do not care whatsoever. But when the sub is called "German Shepherds" thats kind of what I expected, not "new to breed, what should I expect 🤗" and the dog is literally like only 10% shepherd.

So after a week of work at my current job, commission included, I make like $450 take home a week.

At my last job my average take home was around $700, and I got benefits :)

As much as my last job fucking sucked, I was getting MINIMUM 40 hours a week, I was getting benefits, I had decent job security.

Now, I get no benefits, have not seen more than 25 hours a week, and sure i make commission and I get paid 60 cents more, but despite that? My checks at my last job on a week to week basis were significantly more than what i'm making now :)

What in particular sucks shit about this is while yeah, it shows that I do have experience in the field, none of this is going to fast track me to getting certifications that will help me get the fuck away from here.

I have had multiple people ask me if I do training "on the side" as well and as much as I want to say yes and just go and do that, not only does it break our stupid non-compete, I don't have nor can I afford any type of liability insurance for that kind of work.

So I'm fucking trapped here indefinitely.

They don't give me any fucking time to do anything. I have to scrape together time or come in early/stay late to get any fucking administrative stuff done, I barely have the ability to throw gaps between my classes both day to day and class end to class start. I have to do the October schedule like as soon as possible at this point so It will be out for review by the beginning of august. Am I going to have any fucking time to do this on top of EVERYTHING else? Selling classes, updating information, calling and talking to existing students, updating the schedule? No, at least not on the fucking clock. I'm going to have to take shit home with me to figure out what I can do and where I can put things. I have to work off the clock because they won't give me any god damn time to do anything.

You know when they can give me hours suddenly with no issues? When they want me to cashier. If I run the register suddenly its totally fine. But you know what still happens? While I'm fucking trapped up there I have two particular managers that really like to say "oh sell classes sell classes, you won't be on the register as much if you sell classes" and it makes me want to fucking scream. I can't sell classes trapped in a little fucking cubicle. I can't just walk away and show people the information at the register. The most I can even do is hand out my card. That's fucking it.

I understand why there has been so much trainer turnover at this fucking place.

Someone is banging around outside even though its early as fuck so now my neighbors dogs wont shut the fuck up. I feel like shit and I do not want to go to work but there is like absolutely no way that I cannot go in today. There is too much shit happening that I have to handle and it would be a huge asshole move to all of my students so I've just gotta power through. Hopefully today doesn't drag.
