Taken: Pt 1/2

Donkey Kong X Fem!Reader

Summary: While in the middle of a battle, Donkey Kong is separated from you and comes back to find you've been taken by Bowser when you were saving Mario.

Warnings: Language, kidnapping, attempted forced marriage, details of injuries.

*In honour of hitting 50 followers, I wanted to make this one a bit longer for you guys <3*

Headcanons:

Spoiler Warning: These headcanons include the first half of the oneshot.

• First things first, DK would definitely be hesitant with you joining the mission.

• He knows how capable you are and how well you can fight, but he couldn't help but worry about something going wrong.

• He knows Bowser has an interest in you, similar to his interest in Princess Peach.

• But it seems Bowser was going for you more often.

• Probably because he'd been obsessed with Peach for so long with no prevail.

• This made DK even more protective over you.

• It may have annoyed you to an extent but you knew he meant well.

• Throughout the battle, he would be watching you 24/7.

• After getting separated, he panicked and sprinted over to where he last saw you as soon as he got the chance.

• Finding out you were taken sent DK over the edge.

• And finding out that you were hurt in the process of saving Mario made him furious.

• He almost broke down.

• How was he going to get you back? Would you even be alive if he found you?

• Actually getting to you was the most stressful part.

• He wasn't sure what state you'd be in, even if it hadn't been that long.

• He went on a rampage to get to you once they got on Bowser's ship.

• The pure rage in his eyes almost scared Bowser for a second.

• But nothing could prepare DIK for the loss he was about to witness.

Mario had received word that Bowser was planning an attack on the Mushroom Kingdom. He was informed by some Toad Guards that a large group of Koopa Troopas had made camp just outside the kingdom's premises.

Since his brother, Luigi, was accompanying him at the time, they asked the guards to show them where the camp was.

After making their way into the forest, they all hid in the bushes and made notes on everything in the camp.

Almost twenty Koopa Troopas were setting up tents, sharpening weapons, looking over plans, but what Mario and Luigi noticed in particular was Bowser was nowhere to be seen. The Koopas were seemingly by themselves. Their karts were parked surrounding the camp, like a blockade.

Before they could be spotted, Mario, Luigi and the Toads retreated back to the Mushroom Kingdom to deliver the news to Princess Peach.

With the help of a new warp pipe created to connect Peach's home and the Jungle Kingdom, you and Donkey Kong made it to the meeting in no time.

"Bowser's back." Mario announced.

With the Koopa King returning, there was no doubt he'd be resuming his mission in kidnapping the Princess.

Or, potentially, yourself.

"The guards found a Koopa camp, just outside the kingdom." Mario explained. "They showed Lu and I everything. Their set up, their karts, and we even overheard their plans."

While standing around the circular map in the centre of the throne room, the group listened. "They mentioned an ambush. Happening either tomorrow or the day after." Luigi warned. Mario nodded along. "We didn't see Bowser but-"

"I thought you said he was back." Donkey Kong stopped him.

Mario quickly came to Luigi's aid. "That's what we heard the Koopas say. He's coming on the day of the ambush." He furrowed his brows.

He found it annoying how casually DK interrupted people, especially his brother. But, of course, Donkey Kong never dared to cut you off whenever you spoke.

"So, we don't know what day they'll be attacking? Or even when Bowser will get here?" You questioned. Being this uncertain on when the kingdom would be invaded would be a massive disadvantage for your team, and it worried you. Would it be late at night, early in the morning, or at the exact time that you sat down for lunch?

"Doesn't matter. Because we're-" Mario began.

"It matters, you know, a little." DK shrugged.

Toad and you glanced at each other, obviously having the same worries of the argument that could be taking place very shortly.

"Because we're going to stop them before they try anything." Mario raised his voice firmly. "If we crash their camp, destroy their supplies, and even their karts, they'll retreat."

"Then technically, they could be attacking right now, as we speak." Donkey Kong realised. Mario slowly turned his head and glared at the gorilla. "And we wouldn't even know, like, at all."

"Sometimes I wonder how, or better yet, why (Y/N) puts up with you."

"I get free rides." You answered, giving a shrug with your crossed arms. You knew the current topic was serious but you couldn't help but poke a little fun at the red plumber.

"And kart rides too." DK added with his smirk that infuriated Mario every time.

"OKAY, let's move on." Peach leaned against the map and began discussing their plan. "We want to stop them quickly. We'll sneak in tonight and stay hidden to destroy everything we can. If they spot us, we attack."

Everyone nodded, agreeing with her strategy.

"You guys are sure Bowser won't be there tonight?" She aimed her question at the Italian brothers.

"Well, he wasn't there when we were there." Luigi admitted.

"And he won't be there tonight." Mario guaranteed confidently with his fists on his hips. "The Koopas mentioned he'll arrive tomorrow, the earliest. It's best we attack A.S.A.P."

"But what if he's-" Toad raised a hand.

"He won't be! And if he is, we'll defeat him!" Mario practically begged everyone to side with him. He looked to Luigi for support. His brother hesitated for a moment but joined him regardless. A face full of fear turned to pure determination.

Mario's eyes softened when he locked them with Peach. He could see how she wasn't completely on board with the plan, and he understood why. She wanted to protect everyone. Every plan must be perfect.

But Mario felt it in his gut. This plan would work.

His gaze was a silent ask for permission, pleading for her trust. He wanted them all to trust him. He only ever wanted the best for his friends and family.

Yes, that includes Donkey Kong.

Peach thought it over and smiled at her companion.

Toad, as always, followed his princess's lead.

Then it came down to you and your stubborn boyfriend.

Glancing at each other, almost speaking telepathically. You may have trusted Mario but you definitely didn't trust this plan. Fighting the Koopa Troopa army was one thing, but fighting them and their boss, who also had the ability to breathe fire?

"I'm in." You smiled.

Truthfully, you worked better as a team. You joined your friends and Donkey Kong watched you. He was usually the one to rush into every battle the group came across, much to your dismay. Sure, you loved fighting alongside your lover and friends, but this fight could go a few different ways. And DK knew that.

He may be reckless, pretty much all the time, but this was different. Something felt off. This plan was risky, even for him. They weren't prepared for what they would face because they didn't know what they would be facing. All they could really do was improvise with the minimal time they were given and hope for the best.

As long as you were safe and he got to bash some Koopas, everything would be fine.

"Alright. I got nothing better to do than to save your butts. But if anything goes wrong, I'm blaming you." Donkey Kong pointed his finger an inch from Mario's face, to which the short man slapped his hand away.

"Sure, yeah, you can blame me. But you won't need to! Not unless we hurry up and attack."

It was strange seeing Mario so eager to prove himself. He wanted to show that trusting his gut was the right way to go, even if it meant rushing into a battle unprepared. It was unlike him.

Luigi had seen this side of Mario before when they were kids. But this is an entirely new situation that could end horribly if something unpredictable were to happen. He always trusted his brothers gut. That was how their plumbing business started, and look at them now!

Everyone dispersed and gathered what weapons they commonly used in battle. In the midst, Mario approached Donkey Kong after you had walked away.

"You really don't trust me, do you?" He asked offended.

"Not really, no." No hesitation. DK kept has back to Mario while he sorted the raid preparations.

"And I don't understand why. We heard the Koopas, we know their plan. What, do you think I'm making it up?" Mario couldn't lie, he was hurt.

"I'm joking. Yes, I trust you and I know you're not making it up. It's this plan I don't trust. And that's coming from me." DK gestured to himself after turning to the short man. "I've seen, and been apart of, battles my dad's army fought in. This might not be as dangerous as those, but it's still dangerous. And if anything happens to-"

"(Y/N) will be fine. I've seen her fight, she can handle herself!" Mario cut him off. It's true, you could fight. Why couldn't Donkey Kong believe in your abilities?

"I know she can fight, Mario, but that's not the point. The main part is we don't even know if Bowser won't be there. Remember how we almost died last time?" DK started to walk away on all fours with Mario trying to catch up to him.

"No one's dying tonight."

"And how do you know that?"

"Because if we go now, before Bowser gets there, we can stop their plans and potentially set them back weeks or even months!"

DK stopped and faced Mario, still slightly unimpressed.

"And I promise, (Y/N) will be okay."

DK watched him, scanning for any sign of a lie. But Mario was telling the truth. He fully believed this plan would succeed. And you were officially going too. So whether Donkey Kong liked it or not, the mission was going ahead. And he was coming along.

"Fine." He said begrudgingly. Mario smiled, thankful he could convince his friend to join him and trust him.

Now all he needed to do was stick to his promise.

How hard could that be?

You and the group silently stalked through the bushes surrounding the enemy camp. Donkey Kong stayed near you, as that's what he always did. Specifically in these situations.

The first thing they noticed was how many Koopas there were. And there looked a hell of a lot more than the twenty Mario mentioned. They gave each other a knowing look. This battle wouldn't be as easy as they thought.

Taking a peek through the bushes to where the others had gone, they saw Mario's expression was the same as theirs.

There weren't supposed to be this many. He was certain they'd be in and out in practically minutes.

There was still no sign of Bowser. Just soldiers, running around, still preparing. Their weapons were ready and their karts were loud yet parked.

As the Koopas were distracted, it was the perfect time to attack. They each took out lone soldiers but were eventually caught when one alerted everyone in the camp.

The adrenaline picked up fast as more Koopas came to fight. By having multiple soldiers fight each member of the group, it was easy for them to separate everyone, including you and DK.

While you focused on the shells, fists and spears thrown at you, DK tried to keep an eye out. His heart raced as it got increasingly harder to spot you through the crowd.

The amount of Koopas targeting you and your friends lessened, and it felt like it was almost over.

Then the wind picked up. The temperature had spiked.

You fought off three red-shell soldiers before they stopped and faced the sky. You took the opportunity to force them back with your weapon before looking upwards for yourself.

Your eyes widened, and you caught Mario doing the same.

"No... it's too soon." He whispered. Koopas dove down from the sky, more than any of you could take on your own. "He's not supposed to be here, yet."

You looked to the opening in Bowsers ship as it lowered itself near the ground. A large figure jumped out of the ship, landing without a scratch.

Bowser's menacing grin spotted your friends. His eyes land on you. A sickening smile greeted you.

"There you are."

You held your weapon tightly, perfecting your stance. He took a step towards you before being struck by Peach. Toad followed pursuit and attacked Bowser's legs as best he could. With this only doing as much as pestering him, he kicked back Peach's loyal subject, causing the princess to aim her poleaxe right at his face and neck.

Blocking her attacks, Bowser shot fire where she stood, not caring about her wellbeing as much as he did before. Thankfully, she jumped out of the way.

His main goal was you. Getting to you. Taking you.

Why not Peach? Did he finally give up after stalking her for so many years?

Mario and Luigi attempted to help, only to be held back by more Koopas exiting the ship.

The same for you and DK, the soldiers wouldn't let you interfere. They purposefully split you from the group, holding you arms back after disposing of your weapon.

"(Y/N)!" DK called. He pushed through the multiple shorter enemies who kept him occupied. "Let her go!"

While attempting to break free, you watched Mario sprint over near the Koopa King, putting all Bowser's attention on the himself.

Mario kicked him back, just slightly to daze him. He landed hits whenever he could, blocking any attack he could avoid. He fought proudly, before Bowser caught his body in his grasp.

"No powerups? Sad... you never stood a chance without them." He spoke so closely to Mario's face. A couple drops of sweat sat on his forehead as he clawed Bowser's hand, desperate to escape.

You witnessed the encounter and used all your strength to escape the Koopas hold. You kicked them back and retrieved your weapon from the ground and ran to Mario's aid.

Bowser talons grazed Mario's face, almost digging into his skin. Your friend hissed at the stings as blood rose to the surface.

Yelling a battle cry, you leaped in the air and kneed the side of Bowser's face. He dropped Mario and you landed in front of him, protecting your friend.

"Mario, move!" You ordered quickly.

He wanted to help, he desperately did. You couldn't be hurt in this battle, he made a promise that you wouldn't.

You blocked Bowser's blows and landed a few of your own while Mario still hadn't moved. You sliced Bowser's shoulder and he stumbled for a moment. You quickly turned to get Mario standing while he still frozen in shock.

"What are you doing?! Get out of-" Bowser swatted you out of the way and you fell to the ground. The Koopas launched a net around you and Bowser threw Mario back, breaking his trance.

"Let's move!" He called to his soldiers before locking eyes with you. "We got what we came for." You shook under the weight of the net and you were lifted and brought back to Bowser's ship. With your weapon back on the ground, you couldn't escape. As you pulled at the net and pleaded for them to let you go, Mario watched from below. Luigi met up with him, trying to get his brother to look at him.

You got on the ship, still in the net, as Bowser stomped over to you. He leaned down to be almost eye-level. You exhaled shakily, unable to look away.

"I've never gotten a good look at you, my dear." His voice was low and haunting. "And I'm hearing wedding bells."

All the remaining Koopas flew after the mothership, leaving the group to watch as one of their own was taken. Yet, half of them didn't know . One of which being Donkey Kong.

Mario had silent tears staining his cheeks as his friends came together.

Donkey Kong ran on all fours and caught sight of the ship leaving. For a second, he was joyful. The plan worked! They retreated! Why couldn't he hear cheers?

His eyes darted around to find you. He found Princess Peach, instead. "Peach, are they gone?"

"I think so. Hopefully." She panted as she watched the ship leave.

"Have you seen (Y/N)?" He asked. Peach looked at him, then scanned the area. You were nowhere to be seen. After she didn't answer immediately, he looked at Toad. His short friend just shrugged with worry in his eyes as he turned to search for you as well.

Donkey Kong walked over to the Italian brothers and asked Luigi.

"Where's (Y/N)?" He asked, internally begging Luigi count point you out. The green plumber stared at the gorilla before looking to Mario, who was facing away in guilt.

"Mario. Where's (Y/N)?" DK called him. Mario kept his back turned. DK didn't have any patience for this. He needed to know where you were. "Mario, where is she?" He asked firmly. His friend turned to him, a couple fresh tears dropped. DK was taken aback. His breath shook. He needed answers. And Mario wasn't giving them to him.

"Tell me where she is." DK ordered. Mario took a slight step back. Too much time has been wasted during this interaction and the ape grabbed Mario by the shoulders and shook him, forcing him to look into his eyes.

"Mario! Where is she?! Where's (Y/N)?!" He yelled. A growled settled in the back of his throat.

Mario was terrified. Donkey Kong had been mad at him before but it was usually over petty things like who won a silly contest. But these circumstances were much more dire.

"Bowser has her! She saved me and he took her!" Mario blocked his face as best he could, knowing that there could be a possible punch coming his way. But Donkey Kong just stopped. He stopped shaking Mario and stared at him, his vision slightly blurry from rage.

Did he just hear him correctly? No, he couldn't have. Surely not. You were somewhere here, on the ground, with him.

He looked to the ship as reality set in. You were... up there?

"No..." He gasped as he dropped Mario. The man landed with wobbly legs and backed up away from his friend.

As DK took a couple steps forward, he felt cold.

"No, no, no, no," he repeated over and over. His hands grasped his face. Slowly he went to his knees, unwilling to blink in case he lost sight of the ship.

Luigi placed a hand on Mario's shoulder. Mario looked to his brother and Luigi saw he was telling the truth. The ungodly truth.

Peach watched DK begin to shake and stand. He turned and faced Mario.

"Kong, I... I'm sorry I..." Mario couldn't find the words.

"She saved you, and now Bowser has her."

Mario fiddled with his overalls. He'd never recalled feeling such fear and guilt.

"That monster has (Y/N), doing who knows what, because she saved you." Donkey Kong stalking over to his friend, slowly, on his feet and fists.

"...DK, I didn't mean-" Mario stumbled over what to say.

"Didn't mean what? To- to lose the battle? To break your promise of everything being "fine"? Or you didn't mean to get (Y/N) captured because you were too busy watching your own plan fall apart?!" DK screamed at Mario. His eyes were almost red, with tears forming.

Mario had tears of his own as he raised an arm over his face, not knowing what lengths DK would go to to release his anger.

Peach stood in front of Mario, “(Y/N) saved Mario by choice. This is not his fault.” She argued. She knew DK was hurting, but they weren't going to get you back by screaming. DK stopped and glared at the princess.

“So you’re saying it’s (Y/N)’s fault?" He challenged, despite knowing that wasn't what she meant.

“No, that’s not what I’m saying.” Peach shook her head. "If we're going to blame anyone, blame Bowser. He took (Y/N)." She pointed to the ship.

DK glanced at the ship, his hard gaze weakened. Peach put a hand on his shoulder to make him turn around.

"And we're going to get her back."

DK watched her for a second, almost wanting a hug. But he didn't want a hug from Peach, or anyone, he wanted a hug from you. He wanted you in his arms, safe and sound. He glared at Mario as the guilty man kept his eyes on the gorilla warily.

DK slowly walked up to him. Everyone froze knowing he could snap at any moment. He stopped in front of Mario.

“If anything happens to her by the time we get there,” he spoke low at the level of a whisper. Mario didn't dare to look away. He noticed his friends voice almost shook, but DK remained steady. “I’m killing you.”

Mario knew Donkey Kong was telling the truth.

If you were hurt in any way, he was a dead man.

I know quite a lot of fandoms, actually!

Though some of them are like "I watched this thing for once or twice, read few fanfictions and saw art, but probably won't remember even the names of characters, just the concept of plot."

Gravity Falls

Watched it a few times, in love with Stanley, but didn't saw anything outside of the show itself.

LadyBug

Stopped watching it a while ago, but I liked Gabriel a lot, pitty he died. It irritates me too much how everyone believe anyone but Marinette.

DDLC

Actually love it a lot, watched even mod about life with Monika after the games. She isy favorite, even though Natsuki is cute to.

CupHead

I've played the first game and actually love CupHead, MugMan and Dice king, but I'm not going to play the second game cause me nerves aren't that strong. Didn't watch the show either because of new character.

Poppy The Perfomer.

Okay, here me out. It's SO crazy and random, that it matches me just perfectly and I love strange animation.

FNaF

Freddy from the very first game is my favorite. I have nothing more to say.

Harry Potter

I think it's important to say here that I've watched the movies, not the books. And Dumbledore is my favorite old man. And I never actually liked Draco.

Piggy

The Roblox horror game? Hell yeah, I loved gacha reactions from this. Though I'm not like really, really in the fandom, I just like to experiment with design for this things.

Kindergarten

Played both first and second part, the game is good characters are goofy. My favorite one is probably the Principal from first game and I love the world ending ending.

Ninja Turtles

I think it's important to say here I watched the 2009, 2014 and 2018 and I love them all, but I never checked the comics or other shows.

Undertale

Literally the second favorite fandom, and probably the one who had my attention for the longest time. I'm in love with Papyrus and would marry him, but when it comes to AU, my favorite is Underfell! Papyrus.

Creepypasta

So, I didn't really watched this "All the creepy in one house" thing, but I loved them all seperatly. My favorites are probably Slender brother, like Slenderman, Trenderman, Offenderman, Splenderman and Ben Drowned.

Hazbin Hotel

Okay, so, I'm checking it from time to time but.. uh, I don't really like the fandom. I love Angel Dust though and the "If hell is forever than Heaven must be a lie" song. I don't remember the name.

Nothing much to say, Allmight is my favorite. I'm Deku in that case.

The fic ships are walked in on while they’re kissing - who walked in and how do they react?

Anakin flipped out, how dare Count Dooku touch Obi-Wan! He threw himself into the room and darted straight for them, both pushing away from one another as Anakin moved to activate his lightsaber to slash at Dooku.

"Anakin no!" Obi-Wan shouted, reminding him of the terrible day that Dooku cut his arm off. That panicked voice the terror on Obi-Wan's face.

"How kriffing dare you!" Anakin roared but then suddenly he was being pushed away from them, his back colliding painfully with the ground.

"Anakin!" Obi-Wan shouted harshly, standing in front of Dooku who was saying something in a hissing tone, probably trying to turn Obi-Wan against him like he was always trying!

"Why are you protecting him! He's just trying to turn you!" Obi-Wan looked hesitant at that comment, his eyes straying away from Anakin. Dooku placed a hand on Obi-Wan's shoulder, whispering still in his ear. Anakin vibrated ready to attack but far too aware that Obi-Wan was in the way…

"He's not what you think he is Anakin please, trust me if you can't trust him." Trust-he would never in a million years trust Dooku!

Danny's heart lept into his throat as the door was slammed open while he was mid kiss with Vlad who jumped away from him they both turned and found his father Jack staring at them a little confused but then just continued to rant about whatever he was on now, Slinging an arm around Vlad’s shoulders and dragging him out the door to Vlad's protests.

Danny followed, hoping that somehow his father hadn't actually caught them before they were ready to tell his folks… Jack set Vlad on some science thing and strolled up to him with a smile, leading him from the room and into the office his mother had insisted on. Waiting for Danny to settle into the single chair in the room before scaring the daylights out of him with a simple question, his father’s voice was lower than normal, but he didn't sound mad just… Curious? "How long have you and Vlad been seeing each other?" how did he answer that? Because they didn't agree on that themselves.

"I'd say about a month, Vlad says otherwise." Jack sighed and sat on the corner of the desk, eyes roaming over Danny.

"It's completely consensual?" Danny flushed because yeah, Vlad hadn't forced him or anything.

"Yeah? I think so?" They still hadn't told his folks that Vlad was halfa either…They had accepted him as phantom but honestly, he hadn't hurt them or embarrassed them in that form. Vlad was nervous about telling them either thing not that he blamed him, Danny was just as nervous and worried still that this could just be Vlad's obsession still somehow even though it had seemed to change when his did.

"Well good, I would hate to have to bury my old friend." Danny snorted because Vlad would say Jack kind of did already.

💚❤️💚❤️💚 Bowser froze as he noticed something not good, Luigi still oblivious to the fact that his brother and princess Peach had caught them kissing.

"Well now I know how that would work." Peach said dryly and Luigi sprang away from him, face cherry red. He turned and let out a squeak at the sight of his brother and the princess.

"I didn't want to see that. Yuck." Mario said with a nervous laugh, Bowser frowned because that wasn't…Luigi would be devastated by that comment, that Mario wouldn't want them to see each other even though they truly cared for each other. Or was it just the kissing part? Could Mario be okay with a former enemy who had just signed a peace treaty dating his brother? Could Luigi be alright with his brother’s disapproval?

"Mario." Luigi sounded terrified and how could he blame Luigi? This wasn't how either of them had wanted these two to find out.

"Bro what are you doing? I know he's not an enemy anymore but seriously you could do so much better." Bowser snorted at the same time as Peach did, well. That was interesting in his opinion, maybe she'd be better about it or just holding in what she really wanted to say till she could yell at either of them in private.

"I never judged you on any of the people you dated even when I didn't like them." Luigi said in a soft voice, hands clutching the front of his overalls, eyes downcast and Mario frowned at the comment.

"You aren't dating though." They were. They had been for a week, just biding their time when they both weren't busy so they could tell these two. That was out the window now, and honestly, he wasn't sure what was about to happen but given the scent of ozone in the air…Luigi was upset, his lightening reacting to his emotions.

The half glance in his direction gave Bowser a shiver through his shell because that was a determined look on his boyfriend’s face, he gave a small nod. Knowing exactly what Luigi was asking permission for. “We are dating Mario; we have been for a while now-that was the reason I asked you and Peach to come here-I just didn’t expect you to get here so fast.” They had thought they had at least ten more minutes for them to show up-that was their first mistake. The second was that they thought they could get away with a last second kiss. “What did you do to my brother?” Mario said with a glare and Bowser snorted because what did he do?

“I treated him with respect and apologized to him for all the stuff I did to him personally.” Unlike those bastard toads who scoffed and insulted him with every chance they got, basically any time Luigi was without Mario. Didn’t the so-called hero even notice how sad his brother could be some days? How alone Luigi had been surrounded by toads that hated him? The only breath of fresh air for Luigi had been toadette, and they rarely got to see each other.

Mario scoffed at his words, but Bowser was speaking the truth no matter how blind Mario wanted to be about his brother’s life. Peach stepped forward, she looked tranquil, but he knew better. Bowser was more than aware how harsh she could be some days. She moved to Luigi taking his hands in hers, from his angle he couldn’t see much more than her taking his hands from his clothes and holding them, their words too quiet even for his hearing.

I’m a huge fan of your comic and while I’m not a Bowser and Luigi shipper you’re definitely convincing me to be with this gut wrenching comic! I’m working on my own comic for a story I read on AO3 and I admire your dedication that you were able to stick through your own comic. I’ve been tempted to give up but the end results seeing it all together gets me motivated to continue! How were you able to stay motivated during this process? Did you have an outline before you drew it out or did you figure things out as you went along? If you don’t mind my asking on average how long did it take to complete each page/chapter? Sorry for all the questions! I love your work!

(Ps. Your comic was the first full Bowser Luigi relationship story I’ve read and introduced to the idea of the ship haha!)

Thank you so much! I'm glad you like my work.

For motivation, I mainly did exactly what you described. I envisioned the comic already completed and that imagined future was so tantalizing that even when I was at my wits-end with the comic, I couldn't give it up. As well, since I gained a bit of a following around the comic, knowing I had people relying on me to finish what I started was a huge motivator too.

At the beginning of the comic, I didn't have an outline. I'd say until chapter 4 I didn't have an outline, but after that, I started imagining one and then chapter 11 is when I actually sat down and wrote out the whole timeline in full. My advice is to NOT do that lol. You should start with the timeline, figure out how everything fits together, then start working on it. I kinda regret planning the comic the way I did cause I feel like I could've left more clues in the early chapters for events that happened near the end of the comic.

How long a chapter took me to make depended on the length of the chapter, my personal schedule, and my mental health. Generally speaking, chapters took me about 2-3 weeks to plan the dialogue, sketch the pages, line and colour them. I show that process here :)

THE NANNY NAMED LUIGI

CHAPTER II: Airplanes and Early mornings

Koopa Man: This is your pilot speaking. Thank you for flying Air Goomba. We should be arriving at Shadow City International Airport in just under 5 hours. The skies are relatively clear so we expect only a slight amount of turbulence.

Luigi sighed as he stared out of the airplane window. In just 7 hours he'd be at Bowser's Castle to act as the nanny for the Koopalings and their brother Bowser Junior. He still didn't know how his brother managed to convince him to take the job. Then again he hadn't managed to get a job since he'd been fired by his fiance, so maybe he was just open to any suggestion.

Goomba Steward: The emergency exits are located there and there.

The goomba gestured towards the orange colored emergency exits.

The green dressed Mario brother looked around the cabin.

There were Toads on their way to vacation.

Business Koopas on their way home.

Humans who would transfer to a plane headed to the Luncheon Kingdom for a wedding.

And a few others whose goals varied from migration to a short vacation.

As the plane's engines revved up, and the fasten seatbelt sign went on, the emerald clad human closed his eyes, hoping to get some sleep before he arrived at his destination.

The means people used to travel in this world were as diverse as the beings that inhabited it.

There were cars, bicycles, motorcycles, and hot air balloons. Trams, buses, trains, and blimps. There were planes, ships, koopa copters, and spaceships. There were things I had yet to mention and that most people of our world had yet to imagine.

But of all the methods used to traverse distances, the most famous was the warp pipe. A technological marvel that could get you from A to B in a fraction of the time it took all but the fastest commercial planes.

It was, sadly, also the least comfortable, most expensive to build, and hardest to maintain form of transportation. Which is why it was generally only built when money was no option. Such as in certain government buildings so doctors, politicians, military, aid workers, and refugees could easily get to an allied nation or a nearby province. Or temporarily in the case sporting events, or kidnappings.

Teenage Male Koopa: GIMME THAT!

Slightly Younger Male Koopa: NO IT'S MINE!

Teenage Male Koopa: YOU DON'T EVEN USE IT!

Much Younger Male Koopa: I'M TELLING DAD!

Bowser woke up like he did every morning to the sound of his children arguing over something.

Teenage Male Koopa & Slightly Younger Male Koopa: DON'T YOU DARE!!

Much Younger Male Koopa: DAD!

In this case the argument was between three of his least favorite kids.

Even Younger Male Koopa: IGGY AND LEMMY ARE FIGHTING AGAIN!

Iggy & Lemmy: SHUT UP LARRY!

Larry started crying

Bowser: KNOCK IT OFF OR I'M SENDING YOU ALL TO BOARDING SCHOOL ON THE MOON!

There was a moment of silence before the three brothers started laughing.

Bowser sighed.

He knew he wouldn't send them to boarding school, and they knew he wouldn't send them to boarding school, but at least they stopped fighting and that was all he really wanted.

Bowser got up and looked in the mirror. After a month without Kamek's help, he looked and felt tired. He'd grown a beard, the same shade of red as his mane. Normally he'd shave it, but he felt too tired to even try to.

He put on a white dress shirt with french cuffs and a spread collar, silver cufflinks shaped like his logo, a navy blazer with gold buttons with his logo on them , Khaki colored dress pants, white socks, brown leather dress shoes, a red silk tie in a half windsor knot, a gold pocket watch, and a forest green shell with white spikes.

Normally he'd just wear a shell and some spiked wristbands, but he had a conference in two days, so he had to get used to dressing up.

He didn't mind the clothes, in fact they felt quite good, but in his mind he wasn't the type of guy who would wear them. Or wear a beard, or do a lot of things for that matter.

He looked at his watch.

Bowser: Three hours till Mario's brother gets here. I hope he lasts longer than the last one.

The king muttered to himself.

Somewhere in the skies near the coast of the Darklands an Air Goomba plane was preparing to make its final approach to Shadow City International Airport.

Shyguy Stewardess: Sir, wake up, we're almost at our final destination.

Luigi: Wuh huh?

Luigi slowly got up.

He'd been able to sleep through most of the flight, only waking once to go to the toilet, once to stretch, and once to eat his breakfast. His breakfast consisted of an omelet with fried mushrooms and fire flower, some somewhat stale bread, an assortment of overripe fruit native to the Mushroom kingdom, and some coffee, which he'd been told was a type popular in the Darklands, and was unfortunately the best part of the meal. While it had been a bit too dark for his taste, he still enjoyed it.

The landing had been uneventful, some passengers had clapped, but that was nothing out of the ordinary.

The lesser known Mario brother thought of his situation as he made his way through the airport. He'd met Bowser only a few times in his life, and couldn't remember the last time they'd exchanged more than a few words. Even after Bowser's wife died a few years ago, he'd only sent him a short letter offering his condolences, and never gotten a reply. And now he was on his way to babysit the man's children.

He giggled nervously.

The only time he'd babysat anything was his neighbor's Yoshi, and even that almost went wrong.

He made his way to Darklands Customs and Border Protection.

Koopa Woman: Passport?

Luigi showed his passport

Koopa Woman: Business or Pleasure?

Luigi: Business

Koopa Woman: Staying long?

Luigi: I hope not!

Koopa Woman: Haven't heard that in a while.

Luigi chuckled nervously

Koopa Woman: Luigi … Mario? Huh, same last name as Mario Mario.

Luigi: He's my brother

He smiled proudly.

The koopa burst into laughter

Koopa Woman: Yeah right! And I'm the queen of the Darklands!

She regained her composure

Koopa Woman: Regardless everything checks out. Welcome to the Darklands mister Mario.

The man in green finished going through security, got his luggage, and walked outside, somewhat disheartened by what happened at customs.

Shyguy Driver: Linguine Mario? Lugini Mario? I'm here for a Loogy Mario!

Luigi: It's Luigi.

Shyguy Driver: Can I see your passport ?

The shyguy looked at it briefly

Shyguy Driver: Looks good. Ok, get in the car.

Luigi nodded, and got in the car.

Shyguy Driver: Lets hope you don't end like the last ones.

He muttered to himself.

Time is a funny thing. Seconds can feel like minutes, minutes can feel like hours, hours can feel like days, and days can feel like years. Or in the case of one unfortunate King Bowser, ruler of the Darklands. Hours can feel like Centuries.

Bowser looked at his watch.

Bowser: 3 minutes till he's here.

His children were all waiting in front of the door.

He'd told them that he'd send them to the moon if they what they did to the last people that babysat them.

Not that it mattered, he was too tired to do anything, let alone punish them if they did what he feared they were going to do to Mario's brother .

The doorbell rang.

Teenage Female Koopa: Ready!

A security guard opened the door remotely

Oldest Teenage Male Koopa: Aim!

The door opened

Second Oldest Teenage Male Koopa: FIRE!

Bowser: NO!

Bowser reacted too late. In unison the Koopalings blew scarlet balls of fire at their unfortunate target.

Iggy: That was number 39!

The crimson firestorm which wrapped around the figure in the doorway, gave way to emerald and viridian flames, behind which were intense eyes which seemed to burn with lime green fire.

The mix of red and green fire dissipated as the man dressed in green dusted himself off.

As he looked around the room, his composure shifted from intense anger to an equally intense nervousness

Luigi: Hello… I'm…

Bowser: The Nanny.

And like with Bowsario it'd be the same altho I am very willing to bet both sides of the ship are heavy on the denial so ita this sorta thing where everyone else can kinda see it and are waiting for it to happen but these two knuckleheads. It's Bowser who comes to the realization first and, like with anything he doesn't understand, he kidnaps Peach to vent to her about it

I personally imagine that Bowser doesn't understand what his feelings mean at first. It takes Peach being forced to be his therapist for him to realize that, not only has he never had any feelings for her, but he may not actually be into girls at all. It explains why all of his past flings (including the one that resulted in his son) always made him feel so empty, like he was just going through the motions. Mario, on the other hand, he's always had this confusing obsession with; he's always trying to impress him, and his stomach feels weird every time Mario smiles or laughs. As he comes to realize during that fateful kidnapping session, that's what a crush is actually supposed to feel like.

As annoyed as Peach is about being kidnapped and made to play therapist so much, she feels kind of bad for Bowser; he clearly has no idea how love and relationships are meant to work, which is definitely because of his infamously nasty father. So, she shows some compassion, and tries to help him understand that you can't force someone to love you, and that trying to force a relationship will just make you both unhappy. Bowser thinks about his parents' relationship, and realizes how messed up it truly was. In the short time he knew his mother, he never saw her smile even once. He doesn't want to do that to Mario. He likes his smile. He also wants to give Jr. the happy, healthy childhood he didn't have. So, he wants to do this relationship stuff right. The only problem is, Mario would never like him back--or, so he thinks. After all, who would love someone as evil as him?

Mario has secretly been attracted to Bowser from pretty much the beginning. That first battle between them awoke something in him--something he finds shameful and embarrassing. (It doesn't help that he's already repressing his sexuality.) So he's been trying to suppress those feelings, hoping they'll go away eventually. They don't, of course. He hides it from everyone, even the people close to him. After all, if people knew that he's madly in love with the guy that's constantly terrorizing them, they'd never see him the same way again. The only problem is, Luigi is his twin, and knows pretty much everything about him.

Luigi is shocked and confused at first. But at the same time, he also isn't. Mario has always been the type of person who has compassion for everyone, and always sees the good in people, even no one else can. He's always been worried that it's going to get Mario taken advantage of someday. That's his real concern, in the end. When he does finally confront Mario about his crush, he reassures him that it doesn't change his image of him. However, if Bowser does anything to harm him, he will march right into that castle and give Bowser a piece of his mind. Mario appreciates it, but is also convinced that it doesn't matter. After all, Bowser clearly hates him...right?

So we have these two idiots who are super into each other, and everyone is slowly catching onto it except for them. There's a ton of tension between them at every sports competition, every Mario Kart race, every battle, and it's not the type of tension that the public thinks it is. They want each other badly, but are both afraid of the rejection they're sure is inevitable. Luigi and Peach are getting more and more exasperated by the day. At this point, they might have to stage an intervention and make them confess to each other.

Sorry, didn't mean to ramble on like that. I just have way too many headcanons about these two characters, LMAO

Spoilers for the Mario movie under the cut! Here are my thoughts and opinions.

The soundtrack was incredible. One of the first things I noticed. Also, the visuals were SPLENDID. Peach's hair physics blowing in the wind was especially nice. I loved seeing all the wildly fantastical places of the Mushroom Kingdom, Kong Kingdom, and the Darklands. I wonder if we'll see Daisy and explore Sarasaland in the sequel?

What a fucking introduction to the villain of the movie.

Why did the penguins have the star in the first place? How did they keep it for so long? How did Bowser find out about it???

I noticed the old school Donkey Kong game in the diner and was ecstatic about it!

I absolutely love how well they established Mario and Luigi's relationship at the start. The film absolutely needed the time in the human world to get to know the brothers, their dynamic, and their motivations, and it did it WELL.

Mario's hatred of mushrooms and landing in a kingdom full of mushrooms and needing to eat mushrooms to get powerups was honestly super funny.

They used a little too much slow-mo. By the end I didn't really care for it.

The movie did a fantastic job of showing Mario's protectiveness over Luigi, and Luigi willing to go along with Mario through anything (the construction zone, the sewers)

Speaking of Mario, his voice was actually really fitting. Chris Pratt is no Charles Martinet but he had a really good range of emotion when speaking, Mario felt very fleshed out and real.

Also, Charles Martinet's 'WAHOO' during the first scene made me giddy. Also also him shouting 'those are my boys!!' as the Mario Bros' dad was just wonderful.

The mystery behind the previously-blocked off room under the sewers was really intriguing. Why was it boarded up? Did people used to go missing a lot down there and it was never discovered why, with Brooklyn's citizens instead choosing to block it off?

I'm surprised they didn't keep Peach's original story about her being born in the Mushroom Kingdom. I wonder if we'll learn more about her past if a sequel is approved. DID she come from the human world??? Are they gonna pull another lore twist and make her Rosalina's long lost sister???? Who fucking knows!

I was surprised at how much of a girlboss they made Peach but yknow what, I'm not complaining! She was super fun to watch, I liked how she stood up to Bowser despite seeing he had the star and knowing he would be invincible, and I liked how she was still princess-y despite it (lifting her dress when walking up steps, hands clasped in front of her, she just EXUDES elegance.)

Mario's fight with DK was FANTASTIC. I wish we got to see him with the fire powerup though. Also, him defeating DK with the cat powerup was highly unanticipated, but I really liked how fluid and fast Mario was as the cat, so I can't complain. Also the Tanooki powerup was adorable.

I really liked DK. He was super funny, he was antagonistic to Mario but in a fun way, and I loved the little moments where he softened and put aside the arrogant pushy persona, like when he saved Mario from the blue shell, when he realized Mario saved him from drowning, when they fought side by side to get up to Bowser's ship, and when he (and Peach and Toad) threw himself at Bowser so he would stop focusing on Mario.

Kranky Kong was hilarious and I liked his little scene with DK after he got saved. Go old man go.

Also, the blue shell callback was AWESOME! My jaw literally dropped when I saw the wings and heard the Koopa scream 'blue shell'.

And Rainbow Road!! Wow!! Gorgeous, especially when the shards fell into the water and glowed in the dark. Stunning.

I really wish they did more with Luigi. We got to see a ton of him at the start, then brief scenes of him trapped in the cage, and then the big fight against Bowser at the end. I wanted to see more interactions with him and Bowser, even if it was just Bowser interrogating him about Mario. But they literally spoke once, and consequently him fighting against Bowser with Mario doesn't feel as satisfying or earned as it could have been. (Bowuigi shippers we took an L with this one)

Bowser got TWO chances to sing his love song and frankly it was a fucking banger, this is not up for debate. I want him to sing in the sequel.

Also his attempts at flirting with Kamek dressed as Peach was hilarious.

Peach being 1000% down to stab Bowser when he had the star RIGHT THERE was a Top 10 Girlboss Moment.

Luigi leaping in front of Bowser's beam of fire with only a trash can lid/sewer lid to keep him and his brother from getting burned, then grabbing the star with Mario and beating Bowser's ass was ALSO a Top 10 Girlboss Moment.

I loved how many outfits Peach had. Classic, Fire, Motorcycle, Wedding, and Ice??? We eating good tonight.

The callback to Odyssey with Bowser's marriage outfit, and the boquet of mini Piranha Plants during one of his prep flirting sessions???? DUDE

I wish we got to see the Koopa Kids. Even if it was just Bowser Jr. Which begs the question.... Does Junior exist yet? Is Bowser gonna adopt the Koopa Kids in a future sequel??

Bowser going sicko mode out of jealousy wasn't what I expected going into it, also his dialog when he was trying to kill Mario was a little..... strange??? He kept shouting about how he'd make Mario miserable, just like he is, and I feel like it was sort of out of place during the final battle when he's shown no signs of being miserable (other than being upset Peach doesn't like him and is traveling w Mario) and it's too late for any kind of redemption arc.... so I don't really get why they included it in the final battle. Maybe to show he *can* be good? Maybe it's just me.

I'm surprised the people of Brooklyn weren't horrified by the giant talking ape and short mushroom man or any of the other creatures from another world. They acted like it was normal?? It was a little strange. I'm also a little disappointed there wasn't a scene of Mario Bros' family apologizing for doubting them and making fun of them.

I'm really happy the bros stayed in the Mushroom Kingdom, but....... what did they tell their family???? "Hey you know how we fought a giant turtle and his army. Yeah they're from another world. Yeah we wanna go live there now."

The end credit scene of Yoshi's egg???? Are you kidding me????? I want to see my little boy.

Fanfic Writer End of Year Ask Game

10. What character did you fall in love with this year?

Hmmm... It's hard to say, since most of the media I've consumed this year are continuations of previous series I already loved, so I've not really "fallen" in love with any character I don't think. However! I did gain a much deeper appreciation of Bowser as a character thanks to the movie. I had never thought of him much before, but now I think he's a cool character, ha. I also fell back in love with Loki. I always had a soft spot for Loki, especially after Dark World (which, ironically, was my first Thor movie. I'd seen Avengers before it so I knew the characters, but I'd refused to see Thor with my brother and dad when it came out when I was... 13 I think?), but it wanes whenever Loki media dries up. But season 2 of Loki reignited my love of the character and I hope that he comes back again in a later film. <3

16. What ship stole your heart this year?

Hmmm I also had a few here... Bowuigi is one. BlackBonnet (Blackbeard/Edward Teach and Stede Bonnet from Our Flag Means Death) is another big one. I forget the ship name, but Geralt and Jaskier from The Witcher, to a lesser degree. Currently it's Loki and Mobius from Loki, since they are just so cute together in season 2, it's honestly adorable.

24. Is there a fic you wish you hadn't posted?

Hmm... no, I don't think so! I have a love for all of my fics, even the ones that make me cringe in retrospect. It's why I still keep my old FF . net account around and don't delete my old fics (though I will never link anyone to it!! The writing on the older fics is definitely a product of my age at the time). Part of me wonders if I shouldn't have posted my Bowuigi fic, Luigi and the Beast, since I don't think I'll ever finish it, but I don't regret posting it. Even if I never finish, a lot of people liked it, so it has value for that alone.

35. What words of advice do you have for yourself and other writers?

Honestly? Just write. Write how YOU want to write, not how you think other people want you to write. I always compare my writing to other people's and it is draining to see my writing style after comparing it to others, since mine is very different to what I usually see. I add a lot of introspection and emotion into my fics, since that's what personally interests me, and I always get concerned that people won't like it, or it's not mainstream enough, or whatever. Especially since I write like I think, which includes lots of pauses and emphasis on certain words, which comes across as a lot of... ellipses... and an overabundance of italics that I can't help but notice. Plus, I reuse words and phrases a lot. But honestly? People still like my writing despite it. Hell, some might like it because of it. I've gotten a lot of people who compliment my writing style and say I'm a really good writer, and while I struggle to see myself in that way, it does show that people will like what you do even if you sometimes don't. As long as you are enjoying the writing process and you want to write it, write it. I've tried to censor myself with writing, not using as many ellipses and italics, and you know what? I hated it. It didn't feel authentically me and it made writing a drag sometimes. Once I let go and did whatever, writing was a lot more fun and engaging to me. Is the writing perfect? Hell no. Is the writing uniquely mine and something I wanted to write? Hell yes.

The Super Mario Bros. Movie

I did it. Almost three-and-a-half months after it was first released in theaters, I was able to see the newest Mario movie. Since I didn't get to see it in theaters, I was initially going to wait until it came out on streaming services at no extra charge, but thankfully, I was able to rent it on Amazon for only $5.99. Perhaps I'll start renting movies online more often, as long as I have money.

I definitely had fun watching the movie, with some moments making me laugh. The content warning stated that there would be "foul language", but like other movies made by Illumination, there were no strong curse words. There was one moment where I heard the word "hell" used, but that was it. Chris Pratt seemed an odd choice as the new voice of Mario, but I didn't mind his performance, actually. I honestly would've watched this movie, regardless of who voiced Mario. Except for the moments where he sang, I would not have been able to tell that Bowser was voiced by the same actor who voiced Po from Kung Fu Panda. The graphics looked amazing, no doubt about that.

I felt bad that Mario was regarded as a joke in the beginning of the movie. Sure, running your own business after quitting a previous job isn't easy, but Mario and his brother Luigi deserved a shot at it. I liked how on the way to their first client, Mario, the shorter and more athletic one, accommodated Luigi, the taller and more cowardly one. It was too bad that their first client's dog ruined things for them. Even the brothers' dad was unsupportive of them. I thought it was interesting that Mario hated mushrooms. I could not imagine how unpleasant it must've been for him to eat the power-ups. Admittedly, I don't typically play video games, but I was already vaguely familiar with the Mario franchise. I'm guessing that the scene where Luigi entered the abandoned mansion was a reference to the game Luigi's Mansion. Seeing how Bowser kept Luigi prisoner, I don't understand why a lot of fans shipped them. Bowser is an evil king who wants to take over other kingdoms and marry the princess of one of them! And even if Bowser was romantically interested in Luigi, instead, he would almost certainly abuse the plumber. I liked that Donkey Kong was a rival to Mario, instead of the main antagonist, and even teamed up with the plumber. I did not expect that the battle would move to Brooklyn, where Mario and Luigi came from, but it was epic nonetheless! It was great to see Mario overcome his insecurity about feeling small and Luigi show courage by helping him fend off Bowser. I was glad to see the brothers finally earning respect from their father, former boss, and the rest of the town. A fitting punishment it was for Bowser to be shrunk down enough to fit in a small jar. When he sung for the second time in the movie, it almost seemed that he escaped, but thankfully, he was still shrunken and in captivity. I think there is potential for a sequel, but who knows?

Ganondorf: Alright first order of buisness we must apprehend Kirby.

Hades: How're we gonna do that?

Ganondorf: One of us is gonna have to lure him here so we can trap him after that our plans should be a cakewalk.

Sephiroth: So...Who's going?

The villains all stare at K.Rool who at the time was stuffing his face with the bananas.

King K.Rool: ... ...What?

-A few minutes later-

King K.Rool: Now guys I want to win against the heroes just as much as the next guy... ... ...But why am I dressed as Dedede?!

Ridley: Come on just think of it as revenge for when he trolled everyone. Now go get Kirby!

King K.Rool: Ok! You don't have to shout at me!

Cut to Kirby who is eating all the food in the Halberd's kitchen.

King K.Rool: Hey there Kirbeh! What do you say me & you go looking for something fun to do around here huh?

Kirby: Poyo?

King K.Rool: What!? I look different you say?! Kirby I'm offended! You are disrespecting one of your closest friends simply because of a few differences in my texture!?

Kirby, guilty: Poyo!

King K.Rool: It's ok I forgive yah. Now how about we go have some fun. I'll carry you to. All you gotta do is step inside this totally safe not at all trapped container.

Kirby, excited: POYO!

Kirby stepped inside only to end up up being forced to the containers' floor due to the increased gravity of the trap. K.Rool then takes off his disguise.

King K.Rool: HAH! YOU THOUGHT IT WAS DEDEDE!? TOO BAD IT WAS KONO K.ROOL DA!!!

Toon Link, From a very far away room: I heard someone make a JoJo reference! I must investigate!

King K.Rool: Crap! (Runs away) Guys I got Kirby!

Dark Link: DAMMIT! He didn't die!

Hades: Thanks alot K.Rool I lost money because of you coming back!

King K.Rool: (Cries internally)

Nightmare: Dark Link the dimwit! Can't even win at a bet.

Dark Link: SHUT UP FUCKBOY! (Pushes Nightmare over)

Nightmare ended up knocking his head against something large and metal.

Ridley: Great job you knocked him out. (Sigh) I'll carry him.

Ganondorf: Now...Let's get out of here. Our buisness on the ship is finished.

Sephiroth: Wait I'm confused I though we were attacking them here?

Ganondorf: Oh you'll see Sephiroth. You'll see.

They all make their way to find a way off the Halberd. Then the metal object in the "Stowaways room" began to move and began to follow them.

Ridley: ... ... ...Guys?

Sephiroth: What?

Ridley: ... ... ...Why do I hear boss music?

Dark Link: I'll do you one better! WHAT THE HELL IS THAT THING!?

The metal monstrosity from before came charging at them at mach speed. Heavy Lobster was ready to kill.

Ridley: OHH SHITTT!!! GANON WHAT DO WE DO?

Ganondorf, Hades, Bowser & Sephiroth were already stepping through a portal leaving the lesser villains handle themselves.

Hades: See ya have fun!

Dark Link: GOD FUCKING DAMMIT! SCREW YOU!

Wario: Imma going in!

Dark Link: Wait what?

Wario: Remember me! (Jumps at the mech)

Heavy Lobster simply batted Wario out the way through a wall.

Ridley: O_O

King K.Rool: Oh god! Oh fuck! What do we do!?

Ridley: Fuck this shit I'm out...(Flys out of the Halberd)

Meta Knight: What's this? Heavy Lobster has detected trespassers! Time to murder them.

_____

Heavy Lobster fired missles at the villains.

Dark Link, running with Nightmare: Wait a damn second! WHY AM I CARRYING YOU!?

King K.Rool, running like a mad man: I'm too fat for this!

Mini Lobsters were then sent to chase them.

Waluigi: Aww. They're so small.

They then lunged at Waluigi taking him down immediately.

Hades: They don't know we're still here watching them this is so funny.

Joker: ...Does anyone else here boss music?

Mario: Oh at least I'm not-a the only one.

Meta Knight: (Steps inside) VILLAINS ARE ABOARD!!!

Luigi: WH-WHAT! H-HOW'S THAT POSSIBLE!?

Meta Knight: Stowaways my friend! My Heavy Lobster Unit has picked them up. We must knock them overboard otherwise they may get the best of us.

Joker: ...Where's Kirby?...

Meta Knight: ... ...THEY HAVE MY BOIIIIIIIII!!!!

Hades: HAHAHA! This is some great entertainment!

Ganondorf: Indeed. But we must continue. Enough playing around.

Ganondorf appeared before Heavy Lobster then punched it breaking the front of it completely.

Ganondorf: Hmf. That was easy. HUMANS! STOP PLAYING THAT DREADFUL MUSIC!

Hades: Hey chill out 4th wall breaks are my thing.

Ganondorf: Take the robot with us it could prove useful.

The villains then escaped from the Halberd with Heavy Lobster & Kirby to continue with their schemes.

-Later-

Meta Knight: GOD DAMMIT!!! NOT ONLY DID THE LEAGUE TAKE MY MECH THEY TOOK MY ONE AND ONLY CHILD!!! I'LL MAKE THEM PAY FOR THIS!!!

King Dedede: How'd they get Kirby?

Meta Knight: It's most likely that they preyed on his naivety. The bastards. We're almost at Popstar now. Hopefully that's where the League went. And if they are there not a single one of them will live for longer than 1 second.
