self inserts are great. some people have one they use for every media and i love seeing this one specific little guy people choose to represent themselves go on fun adventures and make friends with their favorite characters and fall in love with others. some people have a different insert for every media they ship from or even for every ship they have and that's??? honestly really impressive and cool how so many different things can represent a single person. sometimes they're fantastical and magical and sometimes they're just A Guy™ in Situations™ even if it doesn't really "fit" the media they're an insert for. and some of these designs?? Hey do you ever think about Orym being a self proclaimed romantic who is “super lonely all the time, especially at night” and how guilty he feels about wanting romantic connection because he still loves his husband, and sees Will’s face every night before going to bed, but he’s starting to realize his deeper attraction to Ashton as something real and realize his pining for Dorian as something he shouldn’t ignore, but he was supposed to be with Will and he’s come to terms with Will dying, but sometimes it hurts so much, and yes he wants romantic connection and he’s so lonely, but he still hasn’t gotten revenge for Will’s death, and he may die soon so why pursue anything if he’s gonna be with Will again in the afterlife, BUT he may die soon and why hold off on admitting how he feels when he knows that despite losing Will the time they had was real good and he wouldn’t trade it for anything, and what if he doesn’t die what if it all turns out okay and maybe he now really has a reason to want and hope for not just *the* future, but HIS future because that future could include Dorian or Ashton and is it bad to not want to be with Will sooner or is it better to want to live and be with someone who cares for him because thats what Will would want and he wants romantic connection and he is so lonely all the time, especially at night, and what if I started chewing the drywall huh?

i try to not focus on ships so much to not devalue the individual character and their own story and development but something about rett and pyke, they would not be where they are rn if it wasn't for eachother, for better or for worse their lives forever changed when they met eachother and they try to make sure to be there when shit gets rough and take care of eachother

my current thoughts on the storyline is that the school 'Q.I. High' is a school that focuses on bringing together people from varying cultures, parts of the world etc by having them train together to become pro heroes. this encourages everyone to learn and work together underneath one goal!

the school is on a hidden, isolated island far away from society. QI High in itself has gained quite the popularity due to it’s unique way of teaching, though there have been a few rumours that there‘s a deeper, darker truth to the school - which catches the attention of a few pro heroes that are from the UA high :D

I'm still fondly thinking about the fact there are so many fuckin' FF6 like references in UT and DR, like oughh ofc only two are prob confirmed and the rest are coincidences BUT IT'S STILL DRIVING ME NUTS I need to yAPPPPP Opera scene is one of the confirmed ofc, and the coloured maze puzzle dungeon part of the play's OST just HAS to be a play on the Finale of the opera from FF6 (it HAS to beeeee WAA the opera scene is around the start of the FF6 opera and the Finale is... well, the Finale part, it works to well CRYINGG)

Onto coincidences I think.... Ralse was the original inspiration for Ralsei... and I know he was named after Toby's brothers' character Ralse but... Ralse is a character in the SAME FUCKIN' FF6 OPERA SCENE. He's called Prince Ralse aswell LMFAO

There is also an Ebots Rock in FF6 which made me think of Mt. Ebott AAAAND can you guess what chaotic jester also laughs during his boss fight

HELL YEAH POWER ENDING SEEKERS ARE MY FAVORITE MR CARDS GENRE i mean they're all my favorite because i legitimately love seeing different people's interpretations of the power ending and the weird fucked up (the fucked up part is important, one must always make their bat fucked up) OCs they make as a result of it. but also i think there's a lot of really fun stuff one can do with a human who deliberately chooses to discard said humanity in order to ascend as a potential replacement for the very figure they're desperately Seeking to learn about and potentially avenge. i'm always kinda surprised it's not more common tbh?? nemesis and BaL just (very very understandably) lend themselves more obviously to seekers i suppose

also that alt strategy is totally valid. it's basically what i pulled with caeru's account all the way back before finishing heart's desire + a not insignificant chunk of evolution. have fun with the dream collecting :)
