some people draw fem remus with short hair (and that’s cool ofc) but i think cutegirlsart’s interpretation of sapphic wolfstar was on point!

aka i think remus would have long hair and sirius would have the shorter hair. my reasoning behind this is because if sirius has long hair as man (ignoring any gender hcs), therefore breaking gender norms, wouldn’t it make sense that a fem sirius would do the same with short hair?

Sirius Orion Walburga Black

Looked very feminine and proper as a child. Had very long straightened hair (curly was "too uncivilised") and wore exclusively long dresses/skirts. First time she saw Lupin, she was unsure of the student's gender, which intrigued her. By hanging out with other Gryffindors, getting dirty and laughing, she realised that fancy wasn't her thing. When she rebelled, she cut her hair herself (someone else fixed it afterwards and turned it into a wolf cut) to her shoulders and let it be wild, her natural curls showing through. She also started wearing ripped pants and short skirts, adopting a less feminine style. Bisexual, flirt, loves having boys' attention, although she's usually not interested. Fell hard for Remy, sending her into a gay panic. She's usually the soppy romantic one in their relationship.

Remus John Remy Hope Lupin

Tomboy, always had short hair (usually pixie). As a child she had a tooth missing (that Sirius thought was adorable), which gave her a lisp. Her clothes were ragged, usually wearing pants or overalls. Disliked Black at first, thought she was a pretencious bitch. When Sirius started being herself, Remy warmed up to her. She was a bit awkward, however, since she had been homeschooled before Hogwarts. Feels like her lycanthropy makes her less of a girl and has a lot of insecurities about her body hair (one of the reasons why she's always in pants). Lesbian (quiet about it), avoids flirting, dislikes romance generally (but will do anything for her girlfriend). Loves making Siri jewellery or other DIY things.
