Rogue removes the glove and instinctively (out of raw desire and need for connection) tries to touch Magneto's face but stops herself because it's the kind of intimacy that creates tension. She realizes she doesn't want to step into muddy waters, instead she waits for his hand. And he gladly and respectfully accepts it. And not only that - he understands it's an exchange of safe, grounded intimacy that is extended to him and he proceeds to take her hand in his, but also to place his other hand on top of hers.

They nicely seal this scene with Storm’s words; 'to feel another soul finally seeing yours'. Because they do. They've seen each other at their best, and they've seen each other at their worst (when one has failed the other or when they have been too quick to pass judgment onto each other). And that gesture reads to me as "I see you, and I want to believe in you. And this situation in which we are now, how we got here - absolutely sucks, but I am glad you are here."

That’s always been Rogue and Magneto in a nutshell for me. I am in tears about how well handled this moment was. And if the rest of the season will descend into drama, jealous love, conflicts and if it will all burn to the ground so be it (hope it won't be the case) - but you will always find me here, in this moment.

I absolutely love the continuing joke of “Fire, Water, Earth” brought to life in Burrow’s End. It’s such a good bit, one that transcends specific series and instead centers itself on a group of friends.

That being said, I’ve seen multiple people begin to predict who is gonna be air. I figured I’d throw my hat into the ring.

First of all, though I love him as a DM, it’s not gonna be Murph. This joke in particular centers around people who are intertwined with both CR and D20. And, as much as I love him, Murph is not that guy. I have no doubt that he’s at least friendly with the Critical Role cast but it’s obvious that he’s closer with Brennan then he is with Aabria or Matt.

So if I had to make a guess, it probably be Spencer. Not only is he involved in CR related content (Candela), he is good friends with both Brennan and Aabria. I’m fairly certain that he was part of a private campaign that involved Matt, Brennan and Aabria.

Something else that I’ll throw out, is that the next time we see the joke, it will probably be during an new season of EXU. I have no insight on when the next campaign of EXU will come out, but I have a fairly strong suspicion that Spencer would be the one Dming it. And that is where we will find our missing joke.

Speaking of, this is off topic. But if anyone feels like drawing Brennan, Matt and Aabria as Fire, Water and Earth Gensai respectively, I will love you forever. Please.

let me elaborate: i work in a structural biology lab and sometimes have to store bacteria. to store bacteria you centrifuge the LB they are in and so they fall out and form bacterial pellet. which is then collected and frozen. but, the said pellet looks SO EDIBLE. it reeks, sure, but THE CONSISTENCY. ITS SO SMOOTH. I WANT TO LICK IT OFF OF THE SPOON.

and it got me thinking. for the sake of this post, let's ommit the fact that it would be dumb as fuck. but since bacteria aren't animals, they have no blood and are on everything anyway. does it hypothetically mean that they are kosher. WOULD IT BE OK FOR ME TO EAT BACTERIAL PELLET IN JUDAISM CONTEXT

This is the best drawing I've done all month. It took me days to finish this one. I need many kudos on this one for all the effort and love I put in.
