It didn't occur to me until this morning that it probably was to calm the homophobes or something which is... Not great.

I'm not gonna lie- This type of thing, the treatment of Minthara and Halsin (and honestly Wyll too, more bafflingly), the way that the "evil" route has little to no content and they don't seem to care about fixing any of that at all. It has been upsetting me enough that I just don't want to play the game.

And it sucks because I do like the story, gameplay, characters, I had a ton of fun with the game- this was probably one of my biggest if not my biggest hyperfixation of 2023 despite being such a late comer. I rarely truly latch onto games like this. I can tell there would be more fun to be had if I could put up with the frustration.

But if they're slowly gonna ship of Theseus characters who are perfectly fine, all the while they ignore the ones that need work and the bugs that need fixed, then... I don't know. Doesn't really make updates all that exciting. Puts a very sour taste in my mouth.

They clearly have priorities and at the top of that, seems to be complying with the demands of the fanbase's most intolerant 🤷

the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT???? WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME?????????? and thus was verbal again

The thing that I love the most about Doctor Who is that it’s just SOOOOOO bad. It’s awful. It’s dreadful. It’s cheesy and stupid and terrible. It has dialogue like “I am the beep of all the meeps!” It’s truly the most embarrassing cringeworthy thing you’ve ever seen. It’s been that way for 60 years. It’s gonna be that way for another 60. It doesn’t matter what kind of budget or fan base they receive. It’s always gonna be this stupid.
