Y’all ever think about the inherent beauty of human creation and how it has evolved with science and technology?

Cause I do. A LOT.

Like, thousands of years ago humanity was drawing images of our prey and daily lives on the walls of caves and now we have entire hobbies desicated to exploring digital realms concocted from a plethora of minds and in soaces that our ancestors could not concieve we control little pieces of art and craft stories through electricity and connect with the world over myths and fantasy all told from crystalized screens.

And we’re evolving even further, so what will art forms look like in even longer years? Will we see new art forms never before concieved emerge? Years ago VR was but a sci-fi dream and even further I dont think those who built every stone of Rome’s foundation could ever imagine our art being shared across the world through thousands of computers and tech exploding across the world.

And isnt that so Beautiful?

There are art forms so far in our future that we cannot even begin to imagine them and I cant wait to discover what they are from beyond time itself

The thing that gets me about history and humanity is that you never know what is immortalized, and the things that will be immortalized are things you would never think.

I saw a person sharing a new tattoo, and it was one of Onfim's drawings. A boy who lived so long ago he is barely a blip now, but his drawings meant so much to people that somebody is now permanently marked in their skin with one of those drawings. Do you ever look at the things you make and just sit there and wonder if this is the thing that future people look at? Do you ever look at your art, your writing, your schoolwork, or anything that is yours and just wonder who will find it, who will fall in love with a piece of your humanity and become overwhelmed with emotion over? It's not unlikely. It's not totally unlikely that somebody will find a piece of you in the distant future and devoid of any other context of who you were will still love you because you were here. You were here, and you are still here, even hundreds or thousands of years later. Treat yourself with the same love that so many have for dear Onfim.

I've been dabbling in a project, mostly world building and not actual fic because my brain is a strange creature, but I have decided that in my interpretation of the PJO universe, Athena is ... well a strategist in all things.

Including the creation of her children.

The way I'm envisioning it, creating a child from her own mind isn't really a task she undertakes casually.

Yes, she does it occasionally as a "gift" to a mortal whose mind she admires. There's no romantic or sexual relationship, but it's an intense, consuming relationship all the same.

Children born for that reason (or for just that reason) are rare though. Athena might have many favorites, but she's also proud. Who deserves a child entirely crafted by a Goddess? Only the few.

I think, in a normal decade, the number of Athena campers is actually on the lower end compared to most of the other Olympians.

None of the Campers outside of Athena's own children every really figure it out, and Chiron, who knows, would sooner die than tell them.

But when there are many children of Athena, like there are in Annabeth's childhood, it's a sign that something strange or terrible is coming.

Athena is a strategist, the right hand of Zeus, his favorite child, the one who forsees and attempts to dismantle threats to Olympians' power. She moves the pieces into place without hesitation or sentimentality.

And the easiest pieces to control, of course, would be her own children.

Other demigods have other immortal parents to listen to, no matter how strong their desire for victory or their inherent cunning. Her own children are fragments of her own mind- much more reliable. Much easier to predict.

And if in the years leading up to whatever disturbance she forsees she chooses mortal parents for her children with calculation, with an eye for the skill sets and temperaments she predicts most needing in the dark times ahead...well, the child and their parent should be honored by her forethought.

It isn't even that she has no affection for the parent or child, in so much as she is capable of affection. But Athena is always, always three steps ahead, and her actions always have intent. Her children are no different.

A demigod, ultimately, is a weapon in the hands of the gods. It's best that the ones she chooses are well-crafted.

i feel like based on his only environment (the fazbear frights attraction), springtrap would just 'think' someone placed horror/halloween decorations in him when he saw himself without his mask/head. like the only place he knows is decorated to hell, he cant remember anything about his person (or that he was/is one) or past, all he knows is that this is his place, there's tacky horror decor everywhere and he's somehow part of it- he knows nothing more, so the only dots he could potentially connect are these. bro thinks he is party city.
