mrs. all american- m. fushiguro
megumi finds himself entranced by the american transfer student. song: mrs. all american by 5sos. a/n: i've been staring at this too long, it's driving me insane so here you go.
"NO ONE UNDERSTAND THE CHEMISTRY WE HAVE- IT CAME OUT OF NOWHERE."
It started with a look- a glance that lingered too long as Megumi saw you walk onto campus, the white-haired freak standing next to you.
You were introduced as the newest first year- a transfer student from New York. You had been in town for less than a month before you discovered you could see curses. And you had the unfortune of running into Gojo who took notice of that.
The first time Megumi’s hand brushed yours was during training. All the first years had joined the second years in the exchange event and Megumi was getting used to your presence.
The smallest moments weaved themselves together. Spending time with Nobara and Megumi as you went through classes, studying, and training.
“So, what’s New York like?” Nobara kicked her feet as she asked you more and more questions about your home country. “Loud. Megumi would HATE it,” you teased. “Makes sense considering that you’re from there,” a rare smile tugged at his lips.
A borrowed pen, the faintest curve of his lips as you stumbled over your Japanese, his lingering presence in the classroom as you asked Gojo-sensei for Japanese tips after class.
You’d noticed his lingering gaze. It was sharp, assessing- but soft.
It wasn’t just his eyes. It was the way he moved closer during missions, subtly standing in front of you to block you from the curse. How he handed you his notes without a word as he noticed you struggling to copy down Gojo-sensei’s sloppy handwriting. How you often came into his dorm to play with his divine dogs. How he couldn’t stop the smile creeping on his face when he heard your American accent when you spoke Japanese.
“How come you moved here?” he asked, a genuine curiosity in his eyes. “It was my mom’s idea,” you smiled as you pet his divine dogs. “She was getting bored of New York and applied for a job here.” “Do you miss it?”
The question sat between you, heavier than the smell of the rain soaked air outside. You didn’t answer right away, your gaze drifting to the fur of his divine dogs.
“Not as much as I thought I would,” you smiled. “Because of you.”
His hand stilled mid-reach as he went to pet one of the dogs. He didn’t say anything, but the slight shift in his posture was enough. His eyes lingered on yours, an unspoken understanding crackling between you.
You weren’t sure when you started to feel this way for Megumi. Maybe it was when he, instead of eating lunch alone as he tended to do, sat down with you to eat lunch.
Or when he spent his free time helping you improve your Japanese in exchange for you teaching him English. Or when he brought you soup that time you got sick.
It was the way he stole glances from you when he thought you weren’t looking. The way he always seemed to find a reason to stick around after everyone else had gone back to the dorms already.
One afternoon, you caught him sitting under a tree after you’d finished your weekly Japanese office hours with Gojo.
“Reconnecting with nature?” you teased, sitting down next to him. “I might need to after hearing you butcher the pronunciation on that reading,” he teased, continuing to look up at the sky. “Asshole,” you muttered. But the grin on your face betrayed you.
The confession wasn’t explicit. It didn’t need to be.
As the two of you sparred, your movements faltered in ways you couldn’t blame on being tired. He noticed. He noticed everything about you.
“You’re off today,” he said, dropping his stance. You laughed, “Maybe you’re just better today.”
His brow quirked, but instead of his usual retort, he stepped closer. His eyes ran miles across you- studying you, catching the light as you watched his movements.
Your pulse quickened. And for a moment, a split second, you thought about stepping back. But instead, you stayed still, the air between the two of you getting thicker by the second.
“Can you just say it?” his voice was low, almost inaudible. “You already know,” you murmured, your voice barely above a whisper.
His gaze didn’t waver. He stepped a half-step closer to yours, his hand brushing against yours- purposefully. His fingers curled lightly around yours as his lips curled into a small smile.
“Yeah, I do.”

I read a very good article on muscle regulation problems in ADHD, but alas it doesn't exist it English. (Though the research it's based on does.) It's about how 80% of people with ADHD have difficulty regulating muscle tension.
If you have ADHD, these motor function issues may be linked to it (and may be helped by medication):
Muscle pain! Just in general! Super common!
Being unable to sit upright/straight-backed for long periods of time. (Over-tension in chest and back leads to exhaustion.) Poor posture is a symptom of ADHD and not your fault!
Getting out of breath quickly, despite being in decent shape. (Again, muscle tension in chest and back.)
Problems with handwriting and fine motor function. (Shoulder tension limits mobility.) Tension in hands/elbows means it's hard to control how hard you write, especially over time.
Co-movement in hands and feet. When you write or draw, you might move your feet along too -- this why it's more comfortable to sit on your feet while doing this!!
General clumsiness, being able to fine control muscles leads to bumping into things. It's hard to control both the force and the flow of movement.
Physical exhaustion and tiredness. Cause. You're tensing.
All this does not necessarily prevent ADHDers from being accomplished athletes, though they found these same problems in ADHD athletes. Nor does ADHD mean general motor function problems, so it may not necessarily be detected in motor function tests. And even if you know how to do stuff and can do it, these problems usually show up with repeated movements.
As you grow older, your body learns to compensate better - however there's also higher instance of muscle pain and exhaustion.
All these things are improved by stimulant ADHD medication. It is also very beneficial to do muscle stretches, esp for your back.

I learned a lot. Like… A lot. And my artstyle changed quite a bit which was a challenge because i kept trying to not change the artstyle too much during the final steps (the final part is a good exemple huh). I hope it did not bother you too much. I also hope you could easily read the text (terrible english and terrible handwriting but i’m trying).
Anyway… More comics are planned. I hope to improve more and share even better one’s with you all!

Favourite Poem - (cod x reader)
TW: grieving a loved one, death.
This can be about anyone you would like as it is not specified who in particular has taken up the hobby of writing.
There's a bitterness in him whenever he thinks about you.
You'd stained him like ink on a page and he was destined to be marked by you for the rest of his life.
Perhaps he was bitter because you were the one who left first. Or maybe, just maybe, he was bitter because he told you all his favourite things -- the best he's ever said, and life took his best efforts for granted.
Whether it was a murmur in your ear when the pair of you were in the bed you shared with one another, or in simple passing during your time alone together. Even when he was drunk. You liked how words sounded when they left his mouth.
A stark contrast to what he was used to.
In school he'd recalled his English teacher being unimpressed (to put it kindly) with his writing and how he conveyed himself through words.
He'd thought touch was his love language, until you told him you liked his compliments and loving remarks -- whether drunken or sober. You liked how he sounded when he was attempting to be poetic.
And in the time since you'd left him, he wrote and wrote pages with sloppy handwriting to attempt to recover, to say every word he could have said to you if he hadn't been so clumsy. And then, the favourite thing he had ever wrote was confined to his notebook. He stared at it often, wondering what you would have said if you could have seen how he improved, how the grief of your passing had shaped him.
He wanted your forgiveness, longed for it.
Please forgive me.
The last words that marked the paragraph in yet another full notepad, even though he was unsure what sin he wanted you to forgive him for, or if he even wanted your forgiveness in the first place; he hardly felt like he deserved it.
Really, the only thing he felt compelled to do in the absence of you was rot as he spent countless nights filling notebooks with all the words he wanted to say to you.

How good would the bots handwriting be?
In English? In Cybertronian? Why not both?
━━━━━━ ⊙ ❖ ⊙ ━━━━━━━━━━━━ ⊙ ❖ ⊙
On Cybertron, writing anything by hand was not exactly common. Technology trimmed the process down a great deal and writing by hand was seen as something reserved for the higher castes. A written series of glyphs was a material promise, something important and made only to be used in serious events. Otherwise most everything was done digitally to save time and improve efficiency. Autocorrect most certainly helped many a struggling writer back on Cybertron.
With this in mind, as resources cut short and Earth lacked the needed materials to make a surplus of datapads, handwriting skills became very clear. More so than ever once the children decided to try and teach the bots to write for possible cover reasons. One could never be sure when one would need a bot to sign them out of school early.
Arcee has the worst handwriting by far, a surprising twist considering her dainty digits and relatively small size. One would think writing would come easy to her, but she hates doing anything like that by hand. She can type quickly, but writing out anything on a datapad, much less paper of all things? No she would much prefer being on Shockwave's operating table over having to possibly write her report manually. The glyphs of the various dialects on Cybertron are too much for her and the hatred of writing transferred over to English even though it is FAR easier to write in. The team won't say it to her face, but her writing looks like chicken scratch in both languages. The children don't know she is garbage at writing in Cybertronian too, and the team are content to leave them with the thought that she is just bad at learning English.
Bulkhead and Wheeljack share one braincell on a good day, and their writing shows this. They write exclusively in the wartime Wrecker dialect that formed over the millions of years of conflict. No one but Autobots can even begin to read their writing as its all a strange deviation from Autobot encryption. Sure they can write in mainstream Cybertronian dialects, but it looks awful and honestly the team prefer having to put on reading glasses and stare at their encrypted writing over having to get out a dictionary to even begin to parse out their other writings. In light of this, they do not write in English when asked to use an Earth language. Instead, they like Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and other such languages due to the ease of which they find encrypting the writing to be. They are hated by Bot and human alike for their habit of making things more complicated than it needs to be.
Ultra Magnus writes in the most computer generated manner known to any of the bots. How he does it is a mystery. Yet somehow he got so used to manually writing out his signature that now his every written glyph comes out as if it were typed. He doesn't seem to notice or care for the team's gawking, and he absolutely refuses to write in English simply because he had no interest in relearning writing. The team don't know, but the real reason he doesn't want to write in any other dialect is because he purposefully trained his motor functions to only write in his very specific manner. To try and learn a brand new written language would mess that up and ruin his clean and crisp glyphs.
Ratchet is an odd ball in his writing. When in a hurry, his writing in both Cybertronian and English looks like the Doctor's scrawl that those outside of the medical field have no hope of figuring out. However when he's not in a rush, he has a very distinct method of writing his glyphs and letters. In Cybertronian dialects of any kind, he adds extra emphasis in places where there has been no need for further glyph usage since the age of Wrath. In English, he adds interesting swirls and excess E's absolutely everywhere as if it is an additional glyph meant to add meaning to the word. Rafael tried to correct him once. That didn't end well.
Smokescreen has never written anything in his life. He can type like lightening, but he was never schooled in traditional manual writing simply due to how time consuming it was and how unneeded the ability happened to be at his post. He can't do any writing to save his life, but he has managed to convincingly fake the ability to write when in a tight spot. He can scribble and make it look like REALLY bad Tarnian dialect. And since that particular script hasn't been used since the city was destroyed, most don't judge him for it. But Optimus knows, and when he has time, he does what he can to school the rookie. Rafael has also taken it upon himself to try and teach Smokescreen some English with limited success.
Bumblebee grew up under Optimus, and Optimus in turn grew up under Alpha Trion. The two have startlingly similar handwriting more often than not. They both know many languages and dialects and are fluent in them, they both share glyph usage preferences, and both are known for their regular language swaps in writing. The only way to really tell them apart is to look REALLY closely at either the curvature of a specific glyph in Ancient Cybertronian or to stare really hard at the way their write their O's and B's. Both write like they walked straight out of ancient eras of old on a good day and write like living dictionaries for pretty much any other dialect. The team and the children gave up trying to figure out who wrote what a long time ago. If they can't pick it up from the context of the writing, they can just assume its important regardless.

Hii, i admire you a lot, every chapter of ECM encourages me a lot, i hope yo are well and im sorry for the bad english in my cuestion😭
Your best writing tips? Everything is valid, whether writing in general o writing fanfics, whatever you think for sure is good, thanks for writing 🙏💗😔
thank-you so much!! I'm glad my writing can do that for you!!
Oh man, I have soooo many things to say, but I'll give you some simplified ones to start with! Buckle up buttercup, this is a long'un!
General Writing Tips:
I know it sounds dumb! But just write. Write a little, write a lot, just try not to get bogged down with it being 'good' or 'bad' or anywhere in between. I'm a firm believer in writing being like a muscle: the more you do it, the easier (and the better) it becomes. And also, crucially, this shouldn't be a time where you do things like... a) hunting for the perfect word b) doing research c) cross reference with a past chapter This is a writing only time! Make yourself place holders (I write XK for words I can't think of, as it's 2 letter that will never appear together so I can CTRL+F it easily! I make comments in the draft specifying what to check or research. I highlight parts I know need LOTS of work) so you can quickly move past what's blocking you and continue writing.
Find a writing habit and environment that works for you. Typing? Hand-writing? Coloured pages? White pages? Dictating? Working in a public place? A private space? (When I start out a story, I often handwrite. And I'll turn back to it if I'm stuck, too. I also write a lot in public, as I find the pressure of other people around me stops me wasting time on my phone... or Tumblr lol).
Get yourself a writing friend! I have a friend I see almost weekly and it's my most productive time of the week (For example, today I wrote 5600 words! Crazy!). Online works too (if you use the pomodoro, you can compare word counts, make a competition of it). If you're doing it IRL, DO NOT expect to get anything done the first time. Or the second time.... but the more you do it, the easier it is for you both to fall straight into writing. (This is the exact same advice I giving to my students about 'study dates' 😉 )
If you find it hard to 'break the seal', then try a warm up. Set yourself a 5-10 minute timer and write based on an activity. E.g. tell a story from the POV of an object in your room! Write a detailed description of your foot! Write a 5 sentence story! Find a picture and write a scene inspired by it! Or get yourself a prompt list and use that. These are all things I would do for students back when I ran a creative writing club at school.
Use the pomodoro system when writing (it's great for studying too!). That's 20 minutes of nothing but writing - no searching up stuff! No looking at your phone! Just writing. Then take a 5 minute break. Then another 20 minutes of writing. Rinse and Repeat! You'd be amazed at how much you can get done!
THIS ONE IS SO IMPORTANT: 👏 The first thing you write is the worst thing you write! That's not just okay! It's expected!! 👏 This is something I tell ALL my students and equally myself. The editing process is SO crucial and honestly, the best thing you can do to improve is - and you'll hate me for saying this! - rewrite your entire first draft. This is why I say, 'don't worry about the first thing you've written'. Because it won't be the end product. (This is why I so often hand-write. Because typing it up then becomes the rewrite.) The re-write is when you should be thinking carefully about your phrasing, and when you can go and do that research. (I will note, I actually don't do this much anymore, but I've also been writing obsessively for 19 years... so do with that what you will (´▽`ʃ♡ƪ)
Read your work out loud. What reads fine in your head might come out as nonsense out loud. This is especially true for dialogue! The better it flows out your fabulous mouth, the better it reads. I've done this so much I've mostly internalised it, but I always always do my final edit as a read through out loud. All 140+K of ECM has come out my gob at least once.
Actual writing tips:
When it comes to sentence structure and phrasing, one of the best things I ever did for myself was read the book Sin and Syntax by Constance Hale. I don't expect every writer to do so, but I do think it's worth reading (I'd like to specify, I generally HATE reading non-fiction but I found it a valuable read).
Here are a few things to keep in mind when actually writing:
Bad repetition: it's a classic, but overuse of certain words sticks out like a sore thumb. Even now I'll do it and won't notice until the final read through (out loud! See my previous tip haha). That is NOT to say that you should just right click 'synonyms'! It's better to edit the sentence itself, think about whether that word is even necessary before choosing to select another word).
Nuance in language is soooo important. This is why I generally discourage just the right-click 'synonym' option. Certainly in the nonsensical English language, there are subtleties in word choice that are critical to preventing your work for turning into nonsense (something I wish my students would understand!). Think of the different meanings conveyed through choices like house / bungalow / condo / flat / apartment / mansion / Mcmansion. All have differing connotations and can't be used interchangeably. Same with floor vs ground. Make sure you understand the connotations (associated meanings) of the word you're choosing before you use it.
Following on from this, Choose specific nouns and dynamic verbs, rather than relying on your adjectives/adverbs to do all the work. Not ' one storey house': bungalow. Not 'walk tiredly': stumble / trudge. Of course, you don't have to do this all the time and I'm not saying adverbs/adjectives are evil! But I think a lot of writers become overly reliant upon them.
Avoid redundant language. Consider the words that are doing the heavy lifting in your sentences. Is there anything in the sentence that doesn't need to be there because you've already implied it? e.g. Sara trudged tiredly into her bedroom and fell onto her bed. In this example, 'trudged' already implies exhaustion. And one would assume her bed is in her bedroom. Likewise 'fall' isn't the most exciting of verbs. So I'd change it to something like this -> Sara trudged through the doorway to collapse onto her bed. (Note here I'm also thinking of the implied meaning of 'onto' rather than 'into', which would suggest her bed is still made up).
Keep in mind who your narrator is and adjust your writing accordingly. Consider their personality, their background and the influence of their culture on the ways in which they'd think / write things. For example, as Peter is a character prone to ramble, I'll sometimes have him do the same in his narration. And because he's a silly little guy, I'll also have his train of thoughts turn in silly ways. His science background means I'll occasionally throw in a science reference too (though it's not my strongest knowledge base these days! So it requires more research lol). In contrast, Jason's love of literature make him more likely to use 'fancy' words like 'eschew', literary references and more elaborate metaphors. But at the same time, his Crime Alley upbringing means I have him use a lot of contractions. And because I see him as a character who is both a dramatic bastard and a highly efficient guy, I will use a lot of one word, or very short sentences. (If you're using multiple narrators, it might pay to write these ideas down!)
Anyways, I could go on, but it's also 20 to 11PM here and I've already written 5600 words today 🥲 My phalanges are tired!
I at least hope you can find something helpful or encouraging from all of this!

How to Improve Your Handwriting in Japanese
Learning to write in Japanese, teaching others to learn to write in Japanese, and watching Japanese people write in Japanese has taught me that it’s hard to write in Japanese. Remembering how to write the kanji in the first place is hard (especially with the ease of writing in Japanese on the computer or phone), remembering the stroke order and then figuring out how to fit the character into the space that you have - these are all difficult. And then on top of that, you don’t want these beautiful characters to look like you were bouncing up and down on a dirt road while you wrote them.
Handwriting in any language varies by person. There are people whose handwriting is sloppy in Japanese, just as in any other language. My handwriting in English isn’t perfect either, but I want my kanji to look less like shaky squiggles and more like, well, a native Japanese speaker’s characters. So I decided to break down how I go about improving my Japanese handwriting.
Practice
When you learn to write in English, you practice your letters over and over again. When you first learn kana and then kanji, it is also a good idea to write them over and over again. This helps many people to remember the characters (stroke order, spatial placement of each part of the character), and by writing the characters over and over again you will be able to write more quickly. You also won’t have to look up simple characters over and over again when you want to write a composition or a letter.
When I first started writing compositions by hand in kanji I remember looking up a character in the dictionary to check stroke order or to check how the kanji was written more often than not. This is a difficult way to write anything and takes a lot of time. Practice will help you to remember the characters and not have to stop to check your dictionary as often.
A high school friend told me that her mother would sit her down at the table every night and force her to work on her penmanship until it was what her mother deemed suitable. When we wrote our AP English essays in class, her penmanship was impeccable, although it took her much longer to write the essays than most of the other students. The result of what she considered torturous practice was amazing handwriting that made me jealous. If I had spent every night laboriously perfecting my penmanship I might also have attained that kind of handwriting - but I did not.
This is an extreme example, and I’m not saying you have to have perfect handwriting, but if improving your handwriting is something you would like to accomplish, taking the time to practice will certainly help your penmanship.
Books
There are Japanese books dedicated to this, because beautiful handwriting is desirable in all languages, but they are written in Japanese and I personally didn’t want to buy a book for this purpose.
Websites
Websites are a bit more difficult to come by because most people want to make some money off telling you their penmanship secrets. However, there are a few websites with some examples of good penmanship.
Links
Here are some online links for handwriting practice:
Chibi Musu Drill is where I look for kana practice for my toddler. They have a variety of drill print-outs that you can use to practice writing the characters correctly. This is especially helpful if you are self-studying as it helps with the shape of characters and the stroke order, and how the stroke should be finished (i.e. abrupt stop or drag and fade out to a tail). There are also tests you can print out for kanji. The site is all in Japanese.
Hiragana | Katakana | Kanji
Seiho’s YouTube Calligraphy School - VIDEO - Only in Japanese but the videos are easy to follow since she uses a red pen to highlight where to pay attention. This is more in-depth but has helpful hints on improving your kanji balance, but you can search 字がきれいに書く方法 to get more results.
Yumefude Penji on Instagram has videos showing how to write kanji properly.
How I Practice Handwriting in Japanese
For Kana
To practice handwriting kana, I find an example of good penmanship from a website. It’s best if the example is larger, or if I can blow it up. Then I print it out with darkened font. Drill print-outs also work well as they have characters for you to trace, then space for you to practice on your own.
I put a sheet of clean paper on top of the print-out and make sure I can read the characters through the clean paper. You can also get tracing paper. Then, I trace the characters multiple times. I try to feel the flow of the character as I trace it and to note if the stroke ends abruptly (とめ), has a kink in it (はね), or if it fades out to a tail (はらい).
Lastly, I practice on my own. I use the feel of the character I traced and try to replicate it. I compare my own work to the original sample, and try to determine how to get the characters to look closer to the original sample. My character might be too skinny, too round, or have a stroke out of place. I usually only do one character at a time until I am satisfied, and then move on to the next.
For Kanji
When practicing kanji, first, I use blank paper, download genkouyoushi (Japanese composition paper), or a notebook with wider line spacing for writing practice than I would for simply writing down vocabulary or notes. You can also buy special kanji practice notebooks. I do this so that I have the space to cleanly write out kanji with more strokes, rather than having to bunch together the strokes so that I can hardly read it. This way, I can practice the strokes with more room and pay attention to how the kanji fits together.
Then, I write the character several times. I try to get a muscle memory going for the character, remembering the individual parts, the radicals, the stroke order and what the kanji means. This helps me to remember the kanji, and then to understand how the individual parts fit together.
I am careful to not copy the typewritten Japanese characters, for these are often different than the handwritten characters. Using a kanji textbook or a website where they teach handwritten kanji is the best way to learn to handwrite kanji. Some dictionary apps also show stroke order and will show the handwritten version so you can see the difference.
9 Tips for Better Handwriting
Source
1. Hold your pen properly / ぺんを正しく持つ
2. Sit with proper posture / 正しい姿勢で座る
3. Create a calm setting where you can concentrate / 落ち着いて集中できる空間を作る
4. Write using the correct stroke order / 正しい書き順で書く
a. From the top to the bottom / 上から下へ
b. From the left to the right / 左から右へ
5. Take care with the Stop - Wing - Sweeping Stroke / とめ・はね・はらいを丁寧に
Showing stop - wing - sweeping stroke in kanji
6. Modulate the size of the character and write slowly and carefully / 大きさにメリハリをつけながら、ゆっくり書く
7. Make sure the characters rise to the right / 右上がりになるようにする
8. Make sure the spacing between lines is equal / 線と線の間隔が等しくなるようにする
9. Write with the intention of being read by others / 人に読まれるつもりで書く
My handwriting in Japanese is far from perfect, but when I have a chance I like to hand write characters to get a better feel for them and for their meanings. I hope this guide helps you to improve your penmanship!

How to study - a guide for ♡ good grades ♡
intro
for most of my school years, I never studied. I have naturally good memory and was quick to understand things... up until maybe year 8. Then things got a bit harder, my grades started falling. I only started to truly study during year 10, and that's how I developed my various ways of studying.
i will be listing the methods i use below. these have helped me a lot and hopefully they can help you too! That said, here are my methods:
method 1 - two notebooks
this is my preferred method for sciences, aka, biology, chemistry, etc.
what i do is have two separate notebooks for each subject.
one is to use during class. its messy, disorganised, an info dump of everything the teacher says.
the second one stays at home. there, everyday after school, i rewrite my notes, this time more aesthetic, more complex, prettier. i also research online and check the powerpoints used by the teacher to make sure I'm not missing anything. I take my time with this notebook, because rewriting my notes helps consolidate them in my mind, and is a great tool for revising for tests. it also means that during class, i can pay more attention to what the teacher is saying instead of trying to do pretty titles and such.
method 2 - flashcards
i also mostly use this for sciences, it helps a lot.
flashcards are the best. You can use ones ready made on your computer, or handwrite your own. I prefer to handwrite because, even though it takes time, as I said before rewriting helps consolidate the material in your brain. After every class, I write down questions and answers on white rectangles I bought from the nearby stationary store, punch a hole in them, and add them to the ring where I have all the other flashcards.
when I'm close to a test, I keep my flashcards close to me at all times. when I am bored, or have nothing to do, I take them out and flip through them until I feel I know everything. I try to go through them at least twice a day.
this method has saved me in so many ways.
method 3 - close by
this is the method I use for history, languages, and english.
I rewrite all my notes on my computer (but you can do handwritten, i just prefer computer so i can print many copies) and then print them out. a week before a test, I start leaving the notes in places i pass by often, eg, my desk, my bathroom mirror, taped to the inside of my wardrobe. every time I see my notes, I force myself to read them all. because I pass by the places so many times, I'll be constantly rereading the same thing, helping consolidate it in my brain.
ofc, this might not be enough, so I also suggest reading your notes like this - read the first sentence. then read the first again, and then the second, and read the first again, followed by the second and then read the third, and then reread the first, second, and third sentences. then read the fourth. and reread the first, second, third, and fourth, and then the fifth, etc. this method is amazing and helps memorize stuff so easily. sorry if its confusing ♡
method 4 - exercises
this method, in my opinion, is better for subjects like maths, physics, etc.
it's pretty obvious what it is. just do and redo exercises, correct them, grade yourself, Google past papers and test yourself again. do this until you are confident that you understand everything. and even then, keep doing exercises.
method 5 - essays
this one is for English, and you might hate it. I mean, who doesn't hate essays?
what i do is, I go to chatgpt, and ask it to suggest possible essay questions on possible things that might be on my test (eg., shakespeare).
then, I write an essay (using the PEAEAL structure) and ask chatgpt to evaluate it and rate it out of ten, tell me where I should improve without giving me the exact answer to what I should improve. then I rewrite the parts that were wrong, and send it to chatgpt again. I do this until I get a 10/10. I keep doing this with multiple questions until I'm confident I know the topic well
important:
how i truly, truly, managed to get good grades was making studying enjoyable. I started romanticizing it - lighting candles, installing an aesthetic clock on my computer, spending hours on pretty diagrams, going to cafes with my notes and studying there.
get a friend to study with you too sometimes. Trust me when I say, romanticizing studying is the best study method.

4 years of Anki: How I make my Chinese flashcards
My first post on this blog was about 4 years ago on July 12th, 2019! That's also around the time I started consistently using Anki. I still review flashcards on Anki nearly every day, but a lot about how I make my cards has changed.
Fields:
Front: The word/phrase, in simplified characters.
Traditional: At some point I decided I wanted to improve my recognition of traditional characters, so I added this field. If the simplified and traditional forms are the same, I leave this field blank.
Back: The definition, written in Chinese and/or English. I try to use Chinese as much as possible, but sometimes I have to resort to English or mix both languages. I didn't start using Chinese definitions until a couple years ago, so my older cards only have English definitions.
Example: Example sentences or phrases that I usually get from Pleco or some other Chinese dictionary source. I replace the word/phrase in question with underscores because I used to mimic cloze deletion-style cards. Now I mostly do it this way out of habit.
Pronunciation: The pinyin with numbers for tones (since that's easier to type on my laptop). I also include variant pronunciations. Above I have both the Mainland Chinese and Taiwanese standard pronunciations.
Alternate: If I notice in the dictionary that there is some alternate form of a character or word, I'll often include it here.
Card front:
Here's how the front of the card looks. I use a cursive-style font called Swim the Wolf to hopefully improve my ability to read others' handwriting. It also forces me to slow down and focus on the example sentences.
This is how the front template looks in Anki:
{{Front}}
{{#Traditional}} / {{Traditional}}
{{/Traditional}}
{{Alternate}}
{{Example}}
This template is configured so that if there is text in the traditional field, the card will be displayed with a "/" separating the simplified and traditional text. If the traditional field is empty, the "/" separator will not be displayed.
Card back:
And here is the back. When I started using Anki, I actually had the definition on the front and the word/phrase on the back. That was back when I only wrote the definitions in English. I would try to guess the Chinese word/phrase based on the English definition and Chinese example sentences (thus why I had to use underscores in the examples). At some point, it got unmanageable, so I switched to word/phrase on the front and definition on the back.
Here's the back template:
{{FrontSide}}
{{Back}}
{{Pronunciation}}
So there we have it, my Anki set up! My method for making cards has changed so much over the years as I've learned more about what works for me and as my goals have evolved. I don't use any add-ons or extensions (unless the added font counts), so you definitely don't need to do anything fancy to get a lot out of Anki. I hope you can glean some inspiration from this!

Hello again! I was chatting with someone and he said "someone should make writing style hcs for the mercs", and I instantly went "I know a guy" so now i'm here. How do you think the mercs would write? (note: he also said "Scout would write like Greg heffley" which is hilarious)
How Do the TF2 Mercs Write?
————————————————————
I'm smiling like an idiot rn. This is so sweet, and the promt is very cool! (Your friend is 100% correct, btw.)
————————————————————
I'm going to headcanon, whay they write about, how they write about those things, and some hand writing pictures of how I think they'd write! So be prepared for a long one 😭 Can you tell I'm an English nerd?
————————————————————
Demo-
You'd think he'd have super messy handwriting, but he's actually a very neat writer. Has an ink and quill pen set, loves gold ink more than traditional black ink.
He writes about his mom and his childhood. He writes very vividly and with lots of detail. I feel like this man is a walking thesaurus.
————————————————————
Engie-
He has very clean writing. I'm day to day life (he has the worst writing when working on his projects). Like he'll leave a note on the door saying that the gangs run out of milk and everyone's shocked. You'd think he'd have atrocious handwriting. Learned cursive in school and never really stopped using it.
When he's writing like this, he's normally sending letters to people he cares for or trying to order parts for his latest projects. He's very formal when he writes to anyone.
————————————————————
Heavy-
Heavy is also blessed with very nice handwriting, but instead of the school system forcing him into writing better it was his mom.
He likes to write about animals and his friends. He keeps a small book by his bed to write little things he learns throughout the day. Not very descriptive, more along the lines of "I heard birds singing this morning, it was pretty." Or "Scout likes brownies more than ice cream." Normally, just mundane things. (Also, he writes mainly in english to improve his ability to understand English words but sometimes defaults to Russian if he can't remember or spell a word properly.)
————————————————————
Medic-
Ugh. This man writes like a doctor nine times put of ten just to fuck with people. He'll give someone a note, and it just has gibberish on it. He likes to watch them try and decipher it. But when he's not being a menace to society. He has genuinely beautiful handwriting. While it can be overly fancy, sometimes it's also easy to read.
He has two journals, he has a leather-bound one where he writes about Germany, his experiences of leaving his country, when he had his medical license, medical school, etc. Loves to write about the past. He uses that journal as a therapist. And then, of course, he has his neon pink Claire's notebook that he uses to write down every single thing that could be used against someone he's ever heard, with matching glitter pens.
When he writes, he never leaves any details out and is pretty clear and concise. He uses German and English interchangeably. Using English mainly out of habit.
————————————————————
Scout-
While I do agree that this man probably writes like Greg Heffley (and honestly, his handwriting probably looks the same too.) I'd be wrong not to mention that he writes out little :), :0, >:), and other little faces on his notes, and have almost graffiti handwriting. He practiced writing to look like that, actually. He used to have decently nice handwriting, but he likes this one better.
He doesn't write much, but when he does, this man writes paragraphs about the most random things. All horribly spelled. This man can't read or write very well. Dyslexic king. He makes sure to get help with spelling, though, so he can write to his mom at least once a month.
————————————————————
Sniper-
Oh, poor, poor man. Can not write clearly to save his life. Not that he's big on writing to begin with. There was never really any pressure for him to have good handwriting, and he mainly only writes to write himself reminders.
Very nondescript and straight to the point. But has a little quirk of using different dots (like • ○ ● □ ■ ☆) for his notes. He has a little dark brown book for all his reminders.
☆eat (is a common note left in the book). He also has written poetry, but he'd rather die than admit that.
————————————————————
Spy-
Pretentious motherfucker handwriting and style. Could just be writing a reminder to wish someone a happy birthday and will go all out. It normally takes him 15 minutes to write a small note. He writes letters frequently, with no reason in particular. I think he just really likes writing. Uses big words but not in the same way Demo does. Like Demo will say, "The food was horrific." But Spy will say some shit like "the meal I partook in was horrifically distasteful and..." So on and so on.
I think he can also switch his handwriting at will. If he needs to pretend to have messy handwriting for some reason, he'll do it. Not without sheding a tear at how awful it looks first though.
Writes exclusively in French. One or two words in English every 10,000 words he writes.
————————————————————
Soldier-
He likes using all capital letters when he writes! He feels like every word he writes is important. It also helps him remember things. I also don't think his vision is the best, so it's hard for him to see any other writing.
He doesn't write often, but he's always listing things, marking things that have changed, and writing down random questions that he'll spend the day trying to answer. Very observation based writing. You catch him writing and it's just a piece of computer paper with a list like,
THE CEREAL WAS MOVED
I SAW A BIRD
WHY DO BIRDS FLY INTO GLASS
ARE BIRDS OKAY AFTER FLYING INTO GLASS.
Very simple writer.
————————————————————
Pyro-
Scarily neat and beautiful writing. Somehow, they can write like this no matter what situation they're in. I definitely think they just rewrite things they overhear, facts that they like, good memories they remember, and just odd things. Has multiple quotes written down from books they've read. They write with glitterpens, too. They have a bunch of construction paper they use to write on.
They don't really write much for necessity. They only really write to make themselves happy. Can be simple or descriptive depending on what their remembering.
————————————————————
AH! I HAD SO MUCH FUN DOING THIS ONE! Thanks again for the ask! I hope your friend likes the answers :D

[ᴛᴇᴀᴍ ꜱᴛᴀɴ ʜᴇᴀᴅᴄᴀɴᴏɴꜱ]
𝕊𝕠𝕦𝕥𝕙 ℙ𝕒𝕣𝕜: ℍ𝕚𝕘𝕙 𝕊𝕔𝕙𝕠𝕠𝕝 𝔹𝕝𝕦𝕖𝕤
ᴀꜱ ᴀ ᴛᴇᴇ ɪɴ ꜱᴏᴜᴛʜ ᴘᴀʀᴋ
ᯓ★ Stan has kept up his interest in music, he inherited his dad's electric guitar and plays only in his room and around his friends.
ᯓ★ He likes listening to a lot of rock and metal bands; Guns n Roses, Queen, Jinjer, Kiss, Eraserheads and even Imagine Dragons.
ᯓ★ He was one of the first of the boys to get their driver's license besides Tolkien.
ᯓ★ Him and Tolkien have grown closer as friends over the years despite the one sided feud between their dads. They thought it was pretty stupid.
ᯓ★ Tolkien still teases Stan about how he thought "Token" was his actual first name.
ᯓ★ Has gotten into reading thanks to Tolkien and Kyle. Calista got him into reading horror manga. Books he's been reading lately are Play Dead by Jane Mason & Sarah Stephens, The Dead Zone by Stephen King and Oyasumi Punpun by Inio Asano.
ᯓ★ Stan convinced Kyle to tag along with Calista and Kenny to get their ears pierced together.
ᯓ★ General animal lover. Self declared animal enthusiast but only knows surface level info about said animal. A sucker for Doggos.
ᯓ★ Drives to San Diego to just unwind and calm down, not to jack it down there.. sometimes.
ᯓ★ Is the usual designated driver on road trips if he's not hungover. Second most responsible driver of Team Stan.
ᯓ★ Has cared less about how he puts his outfits together, usually just tosses on a simple printed tee, some jeans, farm boots and jacket.
ᯓ★ Night owl, definitely has insomnia. Late night discord calls are usually initiated by him.
ᯓ★ Loves board games. A great DM in DND, he sometimes uses the concepts of their games (Stick of Truth or Freedom Pals) into his campaigns.
ꜱᴄʜᴏᴏʟ ʟɪꜰᴇ
ᯓ★ Stan is one of the popular kids, due to their prevalence since childhood growing up in South Park. He's not sure whether or not he likes it.
ᯓ★ He plays as a quarterback for the South Park football team, he only joined cause Kenny joined cause he didn't want to join by himself.
ᯓ★ He gets pretty decent grades, only because he gets help from Kyle or just copies off his homework at times.
ᯓ★ Stan comes in a few minutes after the first bell. He likes to sit at the middle most of the seating arrangements.
ᯓ★ Likes to doodle on his hands with his pens, he sometimes forgets this and ends up wiping the ink on his face. Cartman rips on him for it 100% of the time.
ᯓ★ Stan's favorite subject is english and it's his highest grade, it's a class he can destress in. He also kinda likes when people ask him to review their works since he finishes earlier than most on essays.
ᯓ★ His least favorite is PE, he's already worn out from football practice he doesn't wanna get decimated in dodgeball either.
ᯓ★ His handwriting is scratchy when lazy and in a hurry but intelligible at best and taking his time.
ᯓ★ He likes to use his pen to carve random stuff onto the desks or tables he sits at.
ꜰᴀᴍɪʟʏ ʟɪꜰᴇ
ᯓ★ Stan still lives in Tegridy Farms with his family. Shelly has already moved out for college so it's only just him and his parents.
ᯓ★ Randy isn't as intense anymore when it comes to his weed propaganda so he's rather chill these few years.
ᯓ★ Sharon is a rather supportive mother like she always was, though she worries a lot now that Stan is a teenager so she tries to regulate him more in terms of discipline.
ᯓ★ His relationship with Randy and Sharon are rather complicated, especially towards Randy. Stan still loathes his life at the farm and had a poor adjustment period due to the pandemic, he blames his dad for this.
ᯓ★ Sharon is deeply troubled that Stan is drinking underage but is happy his friends are there to support him, to even take him home when he's too drunk to drive.
ᯓ★ Feels indifferent when his mom scolds him but appreciates that she worries for him, even if he's not a little kid anymore.
ᯓ★ His relationship with Shelly has improved now that they've matured a bit, he texts her every once in a while to check up on her and ask how college's been treating her.
ᯓ★ Shelly is at college to be a School Nurse! She's mellowed out over the years and has shown a more caring but tough love side to her.
ꜱᴛʀᴜɢɢʟᴇꜱ ᴀꜱ ᴀ ᴛᴇᴇɴ
ᯓ★ Stan being depressed would be an understatement, he's had a few spirals which didn't surprise anyone but concerned them even more.
ᯓ★ He's still been drinking unfortunately, he can get through a bottle of whiskey if it wasn't pried away from him.
ᯓ★ Stan hates Weed with a passion, a sentiment him, Shelly and Sharon share because of Randy. He never attempts to touch the stuff.
ᯓ★ Him and Wendy have officially broken up due to his drinking problem, it was Wendy that made the decision for the sake of both of them.
ᯓ★ There was a lot more issues with their relationship besides this of course, everyone knew there was no use in dragging a dead horse around and expecting it to gallop.
ᯓ★ Kyle is his designated person to pick him up from parties. Calista and Wendy often coming along cause Stan gets a little rowdy when getting him home.
ᯓ★ Stan's gotten into arguments with Calista cause she hates to see him drunk. She's been planning on an intervention for him.
ᯓ★ Wendy comes along to help because she still feels that Stan is her responsibility even though they've already split.
ᯓ★ Stan struggles with communication, opting to hide his problems until it blows up in his face and is forced to confront them.
ᯓ★ As much as he knows his relationship with Wendy was toxic for the both of them, he can't help but miss how simple it used to be between them.
ᯓ★ He's insecure about having to mature mentally faster than most of his friends because of his mental health struggles.
ᴀꜱ ᴀ ᴛᴇᴇɴ ɪɴ ꜱᴏᴜᴛʜ ᴘᴀʀᴋ
ᯓ★ Kyle's been getting into a lot of organization and management games lately. His top ones are House Flipper, Powerwash Simulator, Unpacking and The Sims.
ᯓ★ Likes to rearrange and redecorate his room a lot, every month its a different layout every time with one new addition adding to the charm of his room.
ᯓ★ Has a certain fondness for MOBA Games, particularly League of Legends. Extremely passive aggressive when his team/friends aren't performing well. Favorite roles are Jungler and ADC.
ᯓ★ Has also gotten close with Tolkien as friends over the years, they still do the occasional TikTok every once in a while.
ᯓ★ Kyle drinks his respect women juice. Extremely respectful and the literal definition of Boyfriend Material.
ᯓ★ Somehow he's still single??? He doesn't wanna think about it, the fact haunts him at night.
ᯓ★ You can leave your drink with him and he'd be like a guard dog, keeping it safe from anyone slipping anything into it.
ᯓ★ Quite literally the voice of reason for his friends. Tries his hardest to keep them out from doing dumb shit but he gives up eventually. Can't expect stupid not to do stupid. *cough cough* Eric *cough cough*
ᯓ★ A decent cook! Sheila insisted he learn because he babysits Ike so often whenever her and Gerald are out of the house.
ᯓ★ He wears a white tank top under his shirt and occasionally wears a gold chain and a few rings to connect more to his Jersey side.
ᯓ★ Kyley-B still lives within him, he's gotten more control over that side of him. It only ever comes out when he's extremely angry, his accent comes out a bit.
ᯓ★ He likes wearing his expensive air forces his dad bought him to school, it's his few humble brags.
ᯓ★ Has started wearing his hat less cause Calista commented that he looked better with his hair out.
ᯓ★ The first, most responsible driver out of the group. You can take naps when he's driving and abides by the traffic laws.
ᯓ★ Puts a lot of thought behind how he dresses. He pretty much just dresses smart.
ꜱᴄʜᴏᴏʟ ʟɪꜰᴇ
ᯓ★ Kyle is definitely a top student, just a few steps behind Wendy. Gets a lot of As and the occasional B in his cards.
ᯓ★ He's popular like the rest of his group of friends, more particularly with the girls and his whole schtick of being a smart kid.
ᯓ★ Kyle is the type of student who's easy to get along with because he radiates a friendly energy. He's the most approachable out of his group of friends.
ᯓ★ Dude is definitely in the debate club, likes arguing with people, gets a lot of tips from Gerald on how to overpower your opponent and dismantle their argument.
ᯓ★ Despite being in the debate club, he's a varsity basketball player of the South Park Cows. He never gave up on it and had grown a lot taller over the years!
ᯓ★ Never let him tutor you, he would take it too seriously and gets hot headed when you don't follow, even if he did it as a friendly favor. Stan can attest to this unfortunately.
ᯓ★ Wendy offered him to be part of the school council but he rejected it in favor of focusing on basketball and debate club.
ᯓ★ Has the least amount of detentions out of his friend groups. He's a good noodle, somewhat ⭐️
ᯓ★ His favorite subject is History! He likes learning about the past and is curious about how things must've been like, besides the racism and extreme classism of course.
ᯓ★ His least favorite subject is also PE, he hates the extra exercise he gets.
ꜰᴀᴍɪʟʏ ʟɪꜰᴇ
ᯓ★ Ike is in 4th grade now, the same age Kyle did most of the reckless shit he did.
ᯓ★ Don't worry, Ike's a good kid and has a lot more self control than Kyle had at his age.
ᯓ★ Ike's still into video games and he often plays with Kyle, COD and League are their frequent games. He's a good Support and Mid Laner.
ᯓ★ He has expressed his interest in going back to Canada when he's older, Kyle is supportive of his little brother as always.
ᯓ★ Kyle is a mama's boy whether he admits to it or not. He's taken up a lot of Sheila's mannerisms now that he's a bit older.
ᯓ★ Kyle still retains Gerald's personality traits, often being laid back and being the person who has to be the middle man to calm his friends down before things get heated.
ᯓ★ Sheila got a therapist now to deal with her anger! She's not as intense anymore but is still critical when it comes to her son's schooling and discipline.
ᯓ★ She was not happy to find out that he got his ears pierced without her permission. Gerald was chill about it and told him to take care of it properly.
ᯓ★ Gerald's comfortable as his job as a lawyer, he's been forbidden from trolling anymore after what happened. He's also strictly monitored whether he's having some withdrawals from cheesing.
ᯓ★ Kyle often hides that he drinks and smokes weed sometimes, he stays out a few hours extra to make sure he's sobered up and doesn't stink of the green.
ꜱᴛʀᴜɢɢʟᴇꜱ ᴀꜱ ᴀ ᴛᴇᴇɴ
ᯓ★ Kyle heavily struggles with his anger issues, it's something he has trouble controlling. He ends up in a yelling match with Eric almost everyday cause of something stupid he says.
ᯓ★ Stan, Kenny and Calista have no idea how the two of them have the energy to bicker at 10 in the morning.
ᯓ★ Kyle offended pretty easily, especially if it comes off as offensive even if it can be misunderstood.
ᯓ★ He often thinks that he's in the right cause most of the times he has logic and reasoning when it comes to decisions, but he often loses sense of that and makes his own dumb decisions.
ᯓ★ If he gets overwhelmed by anger, he will yell and scream, worse is if he gets physical when he knows this person can go up against him.
ᯓ★ Sheila has recommended her therapist to him but he doesn't wanna take it because he believes he doesn't need a therapist.
ᯓ★ Kyle is insecure that he's unlovable due to his history with girls.
ᯓ★ He's scared that he'll become a bachelor when he's older and doesn't end up marrying anyone.
ᯓ★ He also is scared about scaring his friends away if he can't control his anger enough.
ᯓ★ Kyle acts on his heart first before his brain most of the time, he lets his emotions get the better of his judgement and makes him lose all sense.
ᯓ★ He gets peer pressured very easily, having FOMO because his mom is strict on what activities he can't do.
ᯓ★ He hides a lot of his activities from his parents, scared of disappointing, or worse, angering them in the process.
ᯓ★ Burn out hits him like a truck and there are weeks where he doesn't wanna do anything and struggles to find motivation, his studying often fueled from his anxiety of getting a bad grade.

Ok so recently I saw a post about "Oh, Aziraphale's handwriting in the Edinburgh minisode is so dainty! So angelic!"
And like... no. No it's not. Now, this is coming from someone whose handwriting has never been described as pretty or dainty or anything. In fact, my teachers once wrote on my report that it was "legible." Yep. That one hurt. Anyway.
Also, I am not an expert in fonts, but... What is this?
He's printing! Why is he printing? He should be writing in the most elegant English Cursive. Instead, he's just barely connecting his printed letters. And with that fat kind of nib, too!
This is what English Cursive should look like, according to the calligraphy books I've been hoarding in hopes practicing that would improve my own handwriting:
Now this is dainty and angelic. And it needs to be written with a quite fine nib.
And it's not even that difficult! Look, this is what I did in about half an hour (most of which was spent wrestling with inkflow and bleeding and prying open inkwells):
Imagine how much prettier it would be if I actually put in, let's say, a week of practice. Which is not too much to ask of a professional actor.
No shade to Michael Sheen, I don't know the bts of the writing scene, but it just actually grinds my gears. It would have been so easy to have, let's say, an actual calligrapher stand in for the shot where you onyl see the hands, or just to tell MS to practice his Cursive. Again, when it comes to preparing for roles, the amount of work this would take is well within what you can expect (I would know, I'm a performer myself after all). I'm just confused why that didn't happen.
Gripe over.
#this has bugged me ever since I first saw that scene#btw i know i wrote 1828 but is that correct? i didn't check#anyway#now i want to do calligraphy again this was fun#and in this post you see me turn a turnip - uh i mean...#good omens#Aziraphale#aziraphale's handwriting#why is it so bad (in the context of the scene! MS's handwriting is actually pretty good i think just... why here)

OC Deep Dive Questionnaire Tag
Thank you for the tag @windslar!! Our favourite blonde is going to be in the eye of the hurricane for the next days, so let's get to get to know Lottie a bit better :D
1. What uncommon/common fear do they have?
She's afraid of thunderstorms! And also, death. She lost her mom at a very young age, so an early demise is something Lottie feels uneasy about.
2. Do they have any pet peeves?
People who talk too much about themselves. Ironic, huh?
3. What are 3 items you can find in their bedroom?
Expensive perfume bottles, at least one bouquet of fresh flowers and a manicure set.
4. What do they notice first in a person?
Their general hygiene. Lottie won't judge you about your clothing and style (maybe a little), but uneccesary messiness? Bad smells? Dirty teeth? Ew, no thanks.
5. On a scale of 1 to 10, how high is their pain tolerance?
Oh no, a complete 0. She'll cry rivers for the smallest, non-visible scratch anytime. She's a terrible patient whenever she's really hurt or sick.
6. Do they go into fight or flight mode when under pressure?
Lottie will choose violence whenever she feels the lightest pressure on her glamourous and delicate self, thank you very much.
7. Do they come from a big family/are they a family person?
No and yes! Her family has been always her and her dad since she was a toddler, and she always grew apart from other relatives or acquaitances. On the other hand, being close to Tiana made Lottie become included by the whole White bunch in their chaotic family antics, what shaped her into a a very familiar person. That's one of the main reasons she would love to have a big family of her own!
8. What animal represents them best?
A very much spoiled angora cat, of course.
9. What is a smell that they dislike?
Artificial strawberry, specially on cosmetics.
10. Have they broken any bones?
Nope! And let's hope things stay that way!
11. How would a stranger likely describe them?
It would depend on her mood, since she can be your best friend or ignore you completely if she feels like it. In general, people often say she's elegant, well-educated, pretentious and too loud.
12. Are they a night owl or a morning bird?
Her? A night owl? She won't interrupt her beauty sleep even if her life depends on it. Lottie prefers to wake up early and get things done with a freshly rested face.
13. What is a flavor they hate and a flavor they love?
Hate: coconut / Love: vanilla!
14. Do they have any hobbies?
I don't know if it counts as a hobby, but wellness is her main thing. From doing yoga and meditating to research crystal properties, Lottie is very passionate about it!
15. Boom, surprise birthday party! How do they react to surprises?
Oh, she LOVES surprises! Only if they reach her standards, what's a bit troublesome. But anything that makes her feel like the main character is a yes, thank you.
16. Do they like to wear jewelry?
It's not a preference, it's a sport. And she's the national champion.
17. Do they have neat or messy handwriting?
Of course it's neat! She wouldn't dare to leave elegant handwritten and scented notes to people with an horrendous one. Fun fact: she even took calligraphy classes to improve her style at some point.
18. What are two emotions they feel the most?
Flirty (of course) and confident (of course x2).
19. Do they have a favorite fabric?
Silk! So fresh, smooth and flattering. And expensive, as usual.
20. What kind of accent do they have?
US English, rich girl edition.

Kaino and Rosie HCs again!! (Supa Strikas)
Everything platonic except Ja Nein,Miko and Tiger !!
'Kaino Lin' (She/They)
She's Malaysian-Chinese(even though her name originated from Finland)
Her parents taught them English first, which was troublesome in her later stages in her life. She struggles a lot in Chinese, but she knows a few words and sentences in her dialect (Hokkien).
She's a minute and 20 seconds older than Rosie.
They usually had some As and frequent B's when grades were shown.
Their handwriting is really good,somehow.
Hates vegetables with all of their heart.
She used to be an errand girl (intern) for Hydra when she was 19 and couldn't describe the experience properly, but she's on good terms with Skipper. (They're friends, your honour)
Her favourite Super League teams are either Supa Strikas or Nakama, there's no in-between. (They're basic, she knows)
When she arrived at SS,she was shocked when she saw Twisting Tiger. They've been a fan of him, even before he joined Supa Strikas.
She mostly watched on TV,even when it was super late at night, she'd turn the volume down and continued watching matches.
But, during their internship, she was mostly awkward around him due to the fact that they'd be working with the Twisting Tiger.
But they grew closer together and became good friends when Tiger noticed her nervousness.
He also got them matching outfits.. (As you have seen in the arts, I post ..)
But back to their hcs,she really loves art and photography and joined many photography competitions. (And got participation medals, trophies, and a few 3rd place medals.)
She would spend their late nights drawing and sketching, which would get Rosie annoyed since they stayed in the same room together. So they had to leave the room to let Rosie get some sleep.
Her side of the room is really clean here and there. But their closet is a huge mess.
She prefers to be alone but wouldn't mind a friend or two to accompany her.
A secret fan of Croccie the smile-dile..
They have the same type of humor as Klaus,a bad one at that. She'd pull a quick joke and have the room turn silent immediately.
She dresses up nicely for some important stuff. (Formal,dates..whatever yada, yada) otherwise you'd see her in their supa strikas singlet, jacket, baggy sweatpants and slippers. (Only wears sneakers whenever she's around ss)
Likes drinking their drinks in those plastic bags that you ikat (tie) and drink out of.
It'd be a miracle if you saw her improve her sleep schedule.
When friends send her gifts,Kaino feels really appreciated. They do,but feel undeserving of them,so she tries to get them better ones.
She can remember the small details of people.
A huge nerd for certain stuff like jellyfish,Inspector Von Spector, and a lot of cartoons she'd remember at the back of her brain.
Randomly can sync the timing of what her and Rosie are saying at the same time.
She's Bisexual in terms of sexuality.
They like savoury things rather than sweet things.
Has a secret collection of beanie boos she would never let go ever in their whole entire life. (She showed it to Tiger,Miko, and Klaus once)
Miko let's them talk about photography mostly to him and really likes it when she yaps about different photos she took on one of their trips.
She has an itabag of Miko and Twisting Tiger but hides them whenever they visit her after the season.
Likes talking to herself for some reason,if you're next to them while they're thinking, you might hear some incoherent mumbling coming from them.
Hates the cold temperature with all her might but loves the air conditioning, they just can't stand the cold winter temp while she was at the Fortress Stadium.
They can fall asleep anywhere, they're just really talented like that.
Sometimes, she envies how easily Rosie could be so social because whenever she tried to,Kaino was just considered really awkward.
'Rosie Lin' (She/It)
Actually really bad at speaking Chinese too, like it's sibling.
Younger and gets annoyed whenever Kaino pulls out 'I'm the oldest' card.
Really likes doodling, would doodle everywhere when she was younger, and still loves it to this day,and surprisingly rlly good at it.
Gets away with practically anything,it's like magic. (Aswell during her internship, but it's a 50/50 chance if she gets scolded by Colonel or not)
The happiest person you can be around!
Yes,her side of the room is also clean too,and her closet is also neat too.
Was a huge straight B student back then,Kaino and her would always compare grades.
It applied to Iron Tank due to wanting to impress her sister.
She's randomly good at translating bad handwriting, give her a crumpled up note with smudged ink and smudged letters,it would have the message figured out in no time.
Has really, really,good handwriting.
Her favourite Super League teams are Iron Tank (of course!!) And Technicali... (IT'S BEST FRIEND IS ON THERE OF COURSE ITS HER SECOND FAVOURITE.)
She's pansexual !!
She loves vegetables, except for yam..it can't stand yam.
It really loves sweet things! Usually sneaks in a snack or two.
Is really brave to defend a friend if she needs to. Literally doesn't care if they're tall and huge, she's still defending it's friends.
The other Iron Tank members except for Ja Nein treat Rosie like a younger sister, which includes practically annoying her a lot.
Rosie and Ja Nein usually work together and would spend sleepless nights to think of plans (totally not cheating dw) (it is cheating.)
Rosie likes leaning against practically anything or anyone whenever she wants to nap for a bit,she mostly does it to Ja Nein, but not that he doesn't mind. (JaRosie real)
Loves to cook for others, randomly whips up anything in the fridge, and feeds it to her friends, which always end up for them asking for more.
Rosie also makes tea and hot chocolate for Ja Nein and her whenever those sleepless nights happen again.
Likes yapping abt dinosaurs, especially the Velociraptor. (Ja Nein has heard her speak abt it a dozen of times)
She can yap abt random things and be so inconsistent with its topics to the point she flips through everything and literally just talks randomly.
Hates it whenever a room turns quiet all of a sudden,so it'd ask a question and hopes it would revive a conversation (usually works except for her team)
Likes reading a ton of comics, would also yap abt those comics..
Also a fan of Croccie the Smile-dile,but is actually more open to it than Kaino is.
Has an in-progress ita bag of Ja Nein hidden in her room.
Loves badges and bottle caps, she really likes collecting them and keeps them in a small trinket box.
It was not easy for her to immediately get used to the cold temperatures at Iron Tank,to the point where she got a small cold the first week there, but it got used to it soon enough.
Has a random sense of humor, she laughs at everything.
It has a good fashion style, likes wearing cute things when the season's over, and Ja Nein and her have some time to hang out together.
It wears mostly comforting and pinkish colors and loves, loves winter outfits with all of her heart. She also dresses up really well for events and really likes them.
Gets annoyed whenever Kaino does something very late, since Rosie liked it when they both had synced sleeping times to the point Kaino had to go into another room to continue whatever they were doing to let Rosie sleep.
Rosie likes it when someone praises her for her hardwork. And always responds with a smug reply.
Accidentally says something really dumb whenever Colonel,Uber,Ja Nein, and her are discussing plans of totally not cheating, and gets really embarrassed if no one gave her a proper reply.
She envies Kaino's smarts, even though Rosie was a bit above average,it feels the need to be better somehow.
Credit to Pinterest for the photos, what would I do without it..
