Falorin stared at him, starlight twinkling in mismatched eyes.

His lips still tingled. Their kiss, albeit brief, still managed to steal his breath away.

"You're a good kisser," Falorin said, to which Gale chuckled, ducking his head.

"And you're a bad liar," he replied. "I lived the life of a hermit for some time before I met you — safer for all, but not conducive to pleasures of the flesh."

"And I lived the life of self-imposed isolation for over thirty years," Falorin countered. "Not to make it a competition, but trust me when I say that I enjoyed that kiss beyond what words can describe." Smiling to himself, he brought the tips of his fingers up to his lips, his face warm with the beginnings of a blush. "Very much so."

He brushed his hair back behind his ear.

"I have not experienced intimacy with another in such a way in decades, have never trusted anyone to be that close again." Falorin glanced up to meet Gale's eyes. "But I trust you."

His expression softened.

"Fal," he breathed, spoken with a reverence that gods could only dream of obtaining from their followers.

Falorin shifted closer, leaned in until their lips brushed with every word.

"If we are to rediscover what it means to finally live again, including all of the pleasures which that entails," Falorin said, "then I would want to experience it all over again with you."

Taking that as his cue, Gale closed the distance between them once more, sealing their lips into another kiss.

Someone dared mention reylo in one of my obimaul posts. reylo is NOTHING compared to obimaul. Maul and Obi-Wan share half their lives. Anyway, I just thought of something for my Housewife Vox AU.

One day, the 1950s internalized misogyny and homophobia gets to Vox, and he has a crisis about wearing dresses AND bottoming for a man and how those two things are related. Like, "Of COURSE I'm the one who takes it, I'm wearing a fucking dress! Why did I ever think that was a question!"

Just. Suddenly thinking that Alastor must think less of him for both of those things, and that everyone (ie Alastor and Rosie) who knows him are laughing behind his back about it, for whatever reason.

It just all gets to him at once one day, and he has an entire breakdown about it.

Alastor does his best to comfort him and tell him that wearing a dress and preferred sexual position aren't related at all, and that he would eviscerate anyone who ever dared to think of mocking him about either. "My dear, our delightful Rosie wears dresses, and none would say she is weak for it, and neither are you, darling!" Etc etc.

It barely works, but at least Vox stops crying.

What DOES work is that the next time Vox wants to be intimate, Alastor makes Vox wear a suit regardless of whatever he was wearing before. Vox is confused, but just goes with it.

And then Alastor puts on a dress and fucks Vox until he's crying for a whole 'nother reason, and afterwords asks Vox if he still believes that whatever he chooses to wear is demeaning or says anything about his sexual preferences.

(Thus, the swarmy manipulative businessman version of Vox is eventually born, just with less internalized shit from when he was alive).

(Alastor still generally doesn't wear dresses or skirts, but he will if Vox picks out an outfit and wants him to. But now Vox knows it's more of a personal preference with his clothing and nothing judgemental against him wanting to wear them).

Regarding previous post about disco horse: I really appreciate that everyone is actually talking for once, but a kind of jab happened on my mental health so I have to step away. It isn't from this post, but the reason is sort of connected

Again, I personally find no problems with the DLC except for how Radahn ship came from nowhere and can justify how that comes. But regardless of how many things anyone else dislikes about the DLC: you are valid to hate it as much as you want, but when you start insulting people who loved/accepted/justified the DLC as "media illiterate fromsoft dickriders who keeps coping even after the honeymoon phase passed" and variation I draw the line. There are many ways where other fans can find reason where you didn't and there is potential in new lore that you won't use. Absurd how some people are still willing to support illusory narrative that Radahn Redditor simps are the "worst" part of the fandom when not even at their most arrogant and annoying they can dream to reach HALF of the toxicity cultish Miquella/Malenia fans have, over the awful crime of having different readings, opinions and priorities.

And yes, I know it is inevitable that Tumblr and Twitter fans WOULD make a moral/intellectual/maturity contest out of how people feel about the DLC (🤡🤡🤡), but it hurts when people I actually don't want to butt heads with who start to approve of this mentality.
