#text#literally the only one that could come close to working out is as a book but even then it wouldnt be as good#since youd just be sitting and watching things happen instead of 'choosing' to follow the story (and being powerless to change anything)#the fact that you are INSIDE the characters is the entire point#this is what i was saying before#sometimes a game isnt only a game bc it was 'cheaper than making a movie' and it was 'all the devs could afford'#sometimes. the fact that you are interacting with the environment. that YOU are making those choices#that you are seeing things from the pov of the player character#thats like... vital to the story#and just saying 'oh it should be a movie!' makes it seem like you see the medium as just A Method Of Saying Shit#and not something that is usually chosen very specifically to get the most emotional impact#the fact that YOU are jimmy and you slowly realise he isnt that great despite his unreliable narration is THE WHOLE POINT#and. also. PLEASE tell me how you think the opening scene would work in a format where you can SEE what is happening#if all you SEE are featureless silhouettes then itd be obvious theyre trying to hide something from you#and youd figure out the twist within the first 5 minutes

#thinking a lawttt about how pyrite was described to be the same color as a peach a lot#the freckles as described in the id are supposed to make her look like the inside of a peach#she has scars all over her body bc she was enchanted to be really clumsy so i would imagine she would be constantly getting hurt by acciden#her feet [and other skywing feet] have a fifth toe on the back kinda like raptor claws that they use for balance and grabbing things#in winter turning the original pyrite[?] was described to have black eyes so i gave her really big pupils -#- that would probably make her eyes look black head-on#she has lil bear ears btw !! i think skywings and icewings have bear ears bc theyre smaller and wont get cold as easily . also theyre cute#i just thought the crest of spines would look cute but then i realized the resemblance to icewing spikes so i added them to the tail too#the antler horns looking like icewing reindeer horns also wasnt intentional i just wanted them to look unique -#- instead of the generic straight horns or curved i usually give skywings#i think she has quite a bit of icewing remnants left over despite the spell actually#like i would imagine her fire is weaker than the other skywings and would be a lot less hotter#she also instinctively isnt used to skywing proportions hence why shes sitting the way she is with her legs all weird and wings not closed#other than that shes rather boring and isnt very flamboyant bc i think scarlet would think she doesnt deserve it#i dont really have any other design notes everything was added last second or by complete accident gafksndkxk#I JUST REALIZED THE THUMB ON HER WING IS BACKWARDS . Ive seriously been thinking about Fred and the other Federation Workers so much like to me Fred has a whole ass friend group.
In my brain Fred tries to be Distant and Mysterious bc that's what the Federation tells them all to do but nobody takes the rules as seriously as Fred does. So they're all pals who rope a reluctant Fred into their shenanigans.
Despite his best efforts Fred is always Included and invited to things even when he tells everyone they're not supposed to be hanging out together and they have work to do. Basically he's The Strict One

i was finally able 2 ask my mom today if she could call about my medication since shes home but o boy am i suffering even harder today
#my whole head is so tense my muscles in there feel like theyre constantly fatigued and that is the worse feeling#on top of the pain#i havent felt this awful in years#i am so overwhelmed with it all#the mental & physical issues im being beat with#im dangling on a string n they r just SMACK THWACK POW POW BANG THUD#i am so tired that it hurts no matter how much i sleep#and my acid reflux is acting up and it feels like my lungs r burning#my body hurts i want to lat down but then laying down everything is touching me#i cant think#ive jsut been sitting in front of my fan w my eyes closed begging for it all 2 go away#it's the only place i can kinda get away n get relief#anxiety can beat my ass like nothin else
