so this is the design for Springtrap and Lizzie in my AU. Trying to make them bond because why not. Explanation for the designs, down below

the idea of the design for Springtrap, it was stitched with other fabrics because while settling in with Vincent down in the alleyway he was living in, Vincent didn’t have that much material to make “fix” Springtrap, why does he want to repair him? To make him a bit more “good looking” to his eyes. Obviously he likes however William looked, he also did it due to the fact William wants to be less hole-y.

So he tried to search in some other places, found a few of the materials he needed lying around and brought them back to the alley. Grabbing the needle he had found, also the thread in both of his hands and patches up Springtrap’s missing parts with the materials required.

for Elizabeth’s animatronic design, well, her pigtails were based on Circus baby and she can change her outfit (don’t worry, she’s not really naked under the outfit if she removed it). Her design was heavily inspired by ball jointed dolls as you can see. Extra info: Her design was built later on, after basically retrieving Elizabeth’s remnant and keeping it safe. Vincent didn’t partake in the making of the design though, Springtrap had confessed his wrong doings to Vincent. He was distancing himself away from Springtrap until he was ready to accept that it’s the truth that Springtrap been keeping away from him.

Sometimes I see complaints about Fallout 3/4/the show where they nitpick things that they "changed" and it makes me realize. A lot of people using the classic games as an example of why they don't like these nitpicks obviously never played the classic titles and are going off something they just heard and assumed to be true

SO FUNFACT ABOUT CLEAVE'S NAME!!!

Initially, I was gonna call him Pitch but the name didn't stick to me as much until I explored some more words that could potentially be used to reflect him as a character while also fitting into the world of Arcane. Especially since I want his name to give off a vibe that he's from Zaun too and I want it to feel memorable.

I randomly thought of the word "cleave" and went to look for its meaning. Turns out!!! Cleave is a Janus word where the word has meanings opposing itself!

CLEAVE to divide by or as if by a cutting blow or to adhere firmly.

So I was like wow!!! That's fun!!! And I had a base idea for Cleave being something along that! Being one of the other depending on the context and how he's used.

For most his life he's been used as the more common meaning which is to split something apart and he never saw himself as more than that. Only when Steb is introduced into his life will he come to realize he's more capable than what he thought of himself :) Something about "These talons has only ever known how to hurt. Not heal."

SO THE SHIP NAME... Why Sleave??? 🤨🤨🤨

Combining Steb and Cleave would make Sleave (hah... sound like Steve...) which I'm TOTALLY SANE ABOUT (I Initially called them FishBone because Vultures specifically bearded vultures eats Bones LMAO)

BUT ANYWAY, I went searching to see if Sleave was an actual word cause like... English isn't my first language and I dont wanna accidentally use words I shouldn't. Imagine my surprise when Sleave IS an actual word and the meaning was... more fitting than I expected for the pairing!

Cleave is like a mess of threads... Then there's Steb who is most likely a field medic who would be good with sewing/mending wounds.. DO YOU SEE MY VISION!!!!!!

Thinking about Steb's weapons and also a bit of him as a character (Gaaah pockets!! <333) in Arcane S2... AUGHH

Arcane S2 Spoilers and character rambling undercut

First of all I need to mention how we can see weapons are also used as a way to communicate a character's traits in Arcane. I AM ALSO IN NO WAY A WEAPON EXPERT NOR DO I KNOW MUCH ABOUT WORLD OF LoL. THIS IS ALL FROM VERY BASIC RESEARCH AND ASSUMPTIONS.

SO!!! STEB'S WEAPON!!!! TONFA!!!! They're versatile as both a weapon for defense and offense. This video shows some of the ways it can be held and used. Along with this and this video! They can be quickly switched for defense, offense, and also be used as more like a hammer or a baton too for breaking glass, etc, which I think comes in handy if they need that.

WHAT IM TRYING TO SAY IS... Steb is very versatile like the Tonfa. The added bonus is that he is most likely a field medic as he's VERY often the first to jump into helping someone without hesitation and is usually seen checking their well-being. First with Caitlyn after the attack at the memorial, and then again with Heenot (Despite what could have been a trap but he rushes in first before anyone else).

It also shows that he's not only brave but also willing to risk his own safety to ensure other's well-being. He also doesn't hesitate to take the lead as well when the situation calls for it (Like in the finale EP where he's the one leading others to take action once Jinx and Ekko's group arrives, and also during the memorial where he's the one to get on stage and tackle the leader down.)

Also during their search for Jinx, he looks like the one carrying the most supplies as well (give or take since we didn't get to see a whole lot)👁️👁️What's in there... probably medical supplies and other necessities for their uh. Search through the undercity.

And of course, he's also seen using firearms (A rifle I think? Correct me if I am wrong) and what I assume to be a combat knife. I think both of these are just mandatory for most enforcers, but I just wanna stare at him <333

Anyway, that concludes my rambling for now. There's a shit ton I could probably talk about more and this is just scratching the surface, but PLEAAAAAAASE feel free to add to this post your headcanons or anything I didn't talk about I would LOVE to hear what other thoughts are there to add to my brain collection :3
