Chicken On Noodle With Sweet Sauce
Coming back to the store where I often visit during university😋. Because this bakery has many delicious food. Small and tasty. Often eat chicken wings on instant noodle, with sweet sauce🍝. Also, have Hong Kong style milk tea🧋. The sauce is salty and little sweet. Makes the chicken very appetizing🍗. Noodles become delicious as well. Miss the moment of eating this during student year🥲. Style, that enigmatic ingredient of good taste, has woven an elusive thread through the volatile history of Hong Kong. More than any other, this city has stood at the crossroads of East and West, its identity evolving amid often conflicting currents. Since emerging from colonial rule, Hong Kong has increasingly embraced its Chinese origins, drawing on old and tenacious roots. This copiously illustrated volume delves into the diverse and intangible influences behind Hong Kong's faade, exploring the varied elements that contribute to its particular lan. Hong Kong Style is concerned not with the private domain of exclusive domiciles, but with the wholly accessible style reflecting the personality of Hong Kong as it has evolved over the last 160 years.

ever just randomly get really into something with no rhyme or reason behind it? or maybe there was and I just have no idea what sparked the interest at all...
for some reason I've become really interested in Mahjong~~ and come to find out there are quite a few different styles of the game; as it seems like just a card game but with tiles instead~~
not the tile matching one either, the actual game~~
which style tho? through cursory research there are so many different varieties of the game~~ so many... and I might've missed some but from what I've gathered:
American mahjong (is it the tile matching one or the actual game but with different rules?) looked it up, its a spin on the og game~~
Hong Kong style
different styles of mahjong all over china
Singapore ruleset
Japanese ruleset
and idk if that's it or not~~~ or if there are many more that I haven't found yet.
and the tiles are relatively expensive or so I've read. a set I think at cheapest price (haven't actually looked but am tempted to; but I've no need for the tiles) is like $50
and you need at least 3 people to play~~~ usually 4~~~
So I'd have no need for the tiles, unless there's some other games you could play with them...
so which style should I try to learn? should I buy the tiles, or would that be pointless?
why the sudden fascination?? I don't get it....
how hard would it be to learn? would it even be worth it for me to learn, given I have no one around to play it with?

Slippery Egg Over Rice With Beef
Had Slippery egg over rice with beef and spinach. Along with yuenyeung. The eggs are half-boiled on rice. Taste smooth when consumed. Can make the rice slippery as well. Easy to digest. The meat is brittle, easy to chew. Goes along on coffee with tea. From "Sing Choi Kee"
