It fills me with great joy that toxic buddies will never feel satisfaction watching Buck’s coming out arc. No matter what happens in the future, they’ll always be stuck feeling angry and unfulfilled when seeing Buck first navigate his sexuality, his first kiss with a man, his first queer date and his first coming out. All of that is tainted to them just because that man isn't Eddie. Meanwhile, we get to bask in the happiness of it all.

Can’t imagine spending 7 years hoping and praying for a character to be confirmed bisexual just to end up resenting it.

i'm kinda obsessed with the way juan/lucrezia's dynamic flip flops throughout the show like in the first half you'd get a soft dynamic where lucrezia rides her horse in the middle of a battlefield worried sick about juan who was willing to die but backs up because he doesn't wanna cause his sister grief if he died then the second half you'd have lucrezia wrapping her arms around juan's arm smiling and cracking jokes then later at the same day they're spiting out each other, giving each other stink eye with a full antagonistic tension then later he goes back from spain going all cute on her like omg sister look i brought you a beautiful rare panther in a heart-shaped gilded cage 🥺 then later when he became frustrated that she refuses to reconcile with him and recognize all his efforts (misguided or not) are rooted to protect her he spitefully teases her with dropping her baby from the balcony....their uwu/toxicity managed to coexist because they contain multitudes lol

Rose was thirteen when she fell in love with Scorpius Malfoy.

It had been quite a shock for herself when she first realized it. Her, Rose Granger-Weasley, having such feelings for a Malfoy, none other than the son of the man her father despised so much. That he always knew when to stop and where the limits were, never trying to touch her or get into her personal space. Unlike many other boys she witnessed.

Not when he was the kindest, bravest and most selfless boy she had ever met, with his smooth voice talking her through her insecurities and his silver-like eyes holding every piece of his heart for her to see.

Scorpius Malfoy was eleven years old when he fell in love with Rose Granger-Weasley.

When he first met her, in the Hogwarts train, as she stood behind Albus while he asked him if it was okay for them to enter. Scorpius replied politely, but his eyes were fixed on the girl. With her ferocious red air, like flames of a fire, and her astounding blue eyes that reminded him of the sky. He thought she was the prettiest girl he'd ever seen.

From that point onwards, she was stuck in his mind. Even with her rejections and very public disgust, he never lost hope. The more he saw her, the more he fell for her brilliant self. How could he not? Malfoys have always been attracted to intelligent girls. Specially if they were capable of putting them in their place.

Yes, Scorpius always knew Rose was the one for him. He never doubted it. And despite her growing desire to feel her intrincate curls in his fingers and caress her lips, he kept his hands to himself. He could never disrespect her like that. He knew that, if he wanted to win her over, he needed to let her take the initiative. Give her the control.

And she did.

When Rose Granger-Weasley finally gathered the courage to confess him what she felt on their fifth year, he just laughed with that sweet voice of his and kissed her with a burning passion that convinced Rose she would never want to kiss another.

Which was perfect, because after tasting her strawberry lips, Scorpius Malfoy knew he would only kiss her for the rest of his life.

Not having read the manga I thought Rukia's rescue arc took place somewhere in the middle of Bleach as a series, and not at the very beginning, with it being in the middle making it make sense for a more romantic reading of IchiRuki. Now you can read it as romantic regardless, it's up to the reader. Or you can see it as Ichigo being the older brother to two younger sisters and the oldest kid of a single parent household, where older kids (especially if girls) act as a surrogate second parent, taking on the vacant slot left by the other parent (his mom in this case, not surprisingly he looks so much like her)--as usual, in families a role that exists and is left empty must be filled, even if you need to bring in outsiders for that purpose.

On to the main point, it is so funny to me but also such an accurate portrayal of peak teenage behavior, that this group of kids did sneak into the Soul Society (yeah dude, let's do it! we will save our friend. we will bring her back. no one messes with our circle. we'll definitely come back in one piece, trust me!) to save their friend of... at most six months or a semester of school as Shunsui points out and learns from Chad approaching him.

And Shunsui, being the perspective of an adult who has formed frontal lobes (which he actively tries to destroy with alcohol) and can see in retrospective how teens are and how he was as a teen, realizing that "Oh god! you are dumb. (you are dumb because) You are kids. I cannot kill you!'

Only a teen would pull off a wild stunt like that, because adults either care less about their friends or get too caught up in overanalyzing the situation (Ukitake as Rukia's captain), afraid to be involved (Shunsui because while he didn't like the execution, he doesn't want to do unnecessary work and make things worse, less if he uses his connections or cards right for any little thing that happens in the world there will be nothing left to use when things come down to his niece Nanao), or fearing the loss of social status and family shame (Byakuya as Rukia's brother).

Toby and Josh have once again made me INCREDIBLY emotional, so remember when Josh is shot and Toby is the one to find him? I don’t think there is enough emphasis on the fact that Toby gets the news that his brother is safely landed from the Columbia space shuttle mere MINUTES before Josh is shot. Toby has a few minutes to feel complete and utter relief that he didn’t lose his brother and joke with the President about it before he’s hit with the terror that is finding his other brother, not blood, but no less his family, bleeding on the ground, dying. Toby gets one brother back, and it’s framed as being at the expense of his other brother.

the first time EY "stole" those headphones, the shop owner didn't have any proof it was him. despite this, he insisted on calling his dad, proposed to call the cops, and showed very little sympathy for a child literally getting beaten up by their father right in front of him.

-> why?

he felt disrespected bc of how EY talked to him. it stopped being abt the headphones before his dad even arrived. he just wanted to see the kid who disrespected him shut up, apologize, and admit he was wrong. especially considering how many people were watching and talking abt their argument -> gotta save face and restore your credibility & pride.

this is why, in a way, his dad wasn't wrong to tell him to apologize bc he knew that's what the shop owner wanted to hear. sometimes, the quickest way to solve the issue is to give the person what they want (in this case, an apology) and walk away.
