might be the first time I had a dream about a videogame and woke up genuinely disappointed it doesn't exist
#it's like a 3d action game where you play as an anime girl with long pink hair and fight surreal monsters in some kind of dreamscape???#it was also very pink and the floor was like very shallow water from which the monsters come up#idk if it was just one stage or if it was the whole game#but the monsters were mostly dark colored#and the boss I died to was a giant woman with a negative color scheme#like colored black with white lineart#and she had an attack where she grabs and eats you#anyway the fun thing about the game was that it was like. reading your fighting playstyle to determine the character's personality#you could open a menu at any time and see a breakdown#it was like. broken down into a few pairs of opposing personality traits based on whether you spent more time doing X or Y#so like if you spent more time dodging than doing combos you would have personality trait A and if it was the opposite you would have#trait B#and then that would influence the story segments#also there was a character (not the protagonist) who was different every time and his appearance and behavior depended on the stats#from your last run#I think it must have been like a roguelike situation where if you die you die#and it was split like. between visual novel segments and wave-based fighting segments#that were just on that one level#also there was good music I think#the game was VERY pink. <- positive#herearedragons speaks#anyway I like the 'fighting playstyle influences story' idea#because in the dream it forced me to try and master different styles#to get new dialogue/content#like if I wanted the dodging-based trait I HAD to master dodging#and if I wanted the trait based on my damage output or whatever I had to learn to play aggressivelt

#i decided to pull him bc i have two strong teams rn and i would rather focus on getting my fave characters#than pulling for the meta or whatever bullshit#and i regretted skipping him sooooo fucking bad#idr like his playstyle but idc he can just be my pretty princess that i look at in the character screen :-)#its why im also not mad i accidentally pulled dan il while trying to get a certain 4 star character#bc i really like dan heng!! and even if i have no intention of building him i still want to have him#so officially star rail is my character collecting game irdc abt end game content and meta#so boringggggg and i can clear everything i wanna clear with my teams rn#plus when grinding for relics for sparkle and argenti is too obnoxious i can work on them instead :-)#i also have a lot of fun trying out different team comps and using characters i dont use often so it opens up more options for that#anyways really long winded way of saying yippeeeee

a serious alternative to the other poll. I think some of these have a pretty low chance of happening, but I chose options that are at least possible (i.e. the hermits know them). donāt take this too seriously, iām just curious on what the fandom thinks is the most likely option

#genshin impact#i crowned my wanderers normal attack todayš#but the ruin guards can barely even survive my faruzanās burst lol#they DEFINITELY cant stay alive long enough for me to get a decent handle on wanderer smh#also have i mentioned how much i love my wanderer#i love him as a character i love the build i have on him#i love that i get to use layla and faruzan with him#i love his playstyle and his weapon and ANDā#the list goes on#my account loves anemo but it definitely loves wanderer the most#i barely even had to farm for him it kept giving me such good artifacts#and then of course lost prayer instead of cynos weapon (still a little saltyš)#even though he was already KILLING it on refined widsth before that#i love wanderer heās so good in literally every way and SO fun to build#and ALSO his teapot lines are underratedš¤š¤
