In english we say,

You are the soul of my poetry,

If asked of my love, the answer is you.

If I am the keeper, the secret is you,

I long to see you,

If ever I pray, it’s all for you,

My every wish begins with you.

But in Urdu we say,

Humare jaan-e-ghazal to aap hain

Koi sawal krta hai ki ishq kis se hai

Toh jawab bhi aap hai

Agar hum hamraaz hai toh

Humara Raaz bhi aap hain

Hasrat-e-deed karte hai apka

Dua mangte hai toh

Dua me bhi aap hai.

महबूबा ने मुहब्बत में महबूब के आगे खोल दिया खुद को
