हो सके तो कभी कभी ख्वाबों में आके मिला कीजिए

हकीकत से तो जा चुके हैं, ख्वाबों में ही सही आ मुझे गले से लगाया कीजिए

फिक्र ना करें मैं इन मुलाकातों के बारे में किसी को नहीं बताऊंगी

आप बस मेरा हाथ थाम मेरे बगल में बैठ जाना, तब मैं दुनिया से छुपाया हुआ अपना हर आंसू आपके सामने बहा दूंगी

फिर आपकी गोद में सिर सुकून की नींद सोजाऊंगी

आखिर ये तो ख़्वाब है, यहां तो वैसा हो जाएगा जैसा मैं चाहूंगी

मगर फिर एक मनहूस पल आएगा जब मेरा ख़्वाब टूट जायेगा और मेरा सामना मेरी हकीकत से हो जाएगा

तब मैं अपने सिरहाने रखी आपकी तस्वीर को देख कहूंगी

हो सके तो कभी कभी ख्वाबों में आके मिला कीजिए

Moonshine's Musings

चांदनी का चिंतन

After studying for the whole day , I went to the balcony from my room , the slow chatter of rain washed away all my anger , grief , pain and tiredness....

I understood that I belong to the nature , and that my true "HOME" is no where but at the heart of nature. It might be just raining for many but for me , it's the tears of sky which fell from the heaven , it's the agonizing seperation of beautiful rain drops from the one's livin' up above the sky....

I find solace in the sound of these rain drops , that's where I belong , it feels as if the nature is trying to convey me something....

As the rain comes it takes away longing and grief and gives me a hope for a better tomorrow ....

I hope "August" is kind to all of us

Rain also gives me a hope on how something so tragic can be so fruitful , at how something which can be agony to one , can be happiness to other.... At how to truly grow we need to let go of a few things, just how clouds let go rain drops only for them to be held by the soil of earth and be cherished forever....

Clouds and rain drops seems like an unrequited love story , but the soil , the ground always loves and cherishes rain....

This is the sound which I heard and I do not know but it felt so serene to me with "Aaja piya tohe pyar doon" playing in the background.... Felt as if the universe is telling me to never give up on anything be it my studies or my hope of finding love in this life....

बारिश है या बार(इश्क) जो भी हो चाहे मौसम है ये उम्मीदों का इश्क के चाहने वाले रंगीलो का....

It's the inherent romanticist in me who ends up romanticizing rain so much , who wants to be drenched in the rain with the love of my life....

Coming back to the unrequited love story , i cannot help but think what the creator of this world would have thought while creating rain....

And oh thunderstorm started too , perhaps the nature also need to scream to it's heart's content to showcase it's agony and pain....

To the past me ~ lil Kaya forfeiting her own worthless Kaya (skin) to be the lover of rain....

To the future me I hope you never get tired of forfeiting your Kaya (skin)....

Hi cutie! I have a question only an Hindi person can answer... I'd like to know some idiomatic expressions for someone you deeply love, or idiomatic phrases to express that to someone you love romantically. Its for a school project (it isn't, I just found an old draft and I thought it could use some flavor)

OOOO That is so cool!! Hindi and Urdu romantic phrases hit diff I swear, here you go. Do tell me how your project went:

Meri Jaan (मेरी जान) - my life

Aankhon ka Tara (आँखों का तारा) - The star of my eyes [can be used platonically or romantically, my mum used to call me that when I was small.]

Dil ka tukda (दिल का टुकड़े) - a piece of one's heart

Ardhang/ Ardhangini (अर्धांग/अर्धांगिनी) - Used for spouse Ardhang is male, Ardhangini is female; both of which mean the half oneself-- the better half [ Ardh mean half and aag means part of a whole in sanskrit]

Chaand Sitaare tod laana (चाँद सितारे तोड़ ला��ा) - to bring the moon and stars down for someone [ahah this is a little funny these days, but a lot of lovers in olden times used to proclaim that "I'll bring down the moon and stars for you."]

Saaton janmon ka saath (सातों जन्मों का साथ) - to be together for seven lifetimes, to be soulmates [Only when the bride and the groom take the 7 vows keeping the holy pyre as the witness, they are married. The bride and the groom hold their hands and take seven rounds around Agni (fire) and promise to be with each other for eternity]

dilbar (दिलबर) - beloved

Jaan hatheli par rakhna (जान हथेली पर रखना) - to put one's life on the palm of one's hand, to risk everything for love

Dil ka sukoon (दिल का सुकून) - peace of heart

Tum meri sari duaaon ke jawaab ho (तुम मेरी सारी दुआओं के जवाब हो) - You are the answer to all my prayers.

चांदनी का चिंतन

Have you ever had someone all to yourself ?

Someone who you know will be there for you when you need them , someone who you know won't judge you for anything you do....

Someone who feels like a warm hug after spending a chilly winter night

Someone who feels like a refreshing lemonade after a tiresome sunny day

Someone who is the moon to your dark night

Someone who is the sun to your moon

Someone who is the Stardust of your existence

Just someone for the world but the world for you

Have you ever had such a person ?

I had friends , even best friends but not this person , I never had someone who'd pick my gold over anyone else's diamonds , in fact I have had people in life , whom I know , even if I offer them diamonds they'll pick someone else's gold perhaps they are the "special person" to the ones who gets picked over me....

I often find myself questioning my God ~ "Dear God have you even crafted such a person for me" but God remains silent perhaps time will tell me all the answers , "Time" the one who speaks on the behalf of my beloved God....

But again a question arises in mind , if God has crafted such a soul for me and when I will find them , what if it's too late , what if I am all broken till yet , what if I am broken beyond repair and if they said I am here to mend you~

I would say "mend who ?" , I already lost myself in the will of finding you , I lost my everything just to find you , now why are you here , when I am all broken and frail , I desired you all my life but you never came , you never came.... Now why are you here for someone so broken as me , someone whom everyone criticized all their life , someone who was just there , existing....

i will say to them~

अब जो आए हो तुम क्या मेरी चुपी तोड़ दोगे कतरा कतरा बिखरा है इस दिल का क्या उसे जोड़ दोगे या फिर लगा लोगे अपने सीने से ले लोगे प्यार के साये में और मेरा भरोसा जोड़ दोगे....

But what if my other half is also like me broken and frail , waiting for me to mend them....

Then we will both be vulnerable together , we will love the imperfect us.....

We will rise and heal in love together....

To the past me I am proud of how far you have come....

To the future me don't lose hope....
