I'm currently heading down to the Royal Highland show (for non-Scots, a huge 4 day country show, live music, agriculture, crafts, food and contests- well worth a visit) so brace yourselves for a photo barrage of any and every draft horse I can find. If anyone has requests for photos of specific animals or breeds of horse, cattle, chicken or sheep, let me know and I'll try to get some.

On this New Year I give you Matheli and Jia engaging in some lesbian enrichment activities (aka sparring in Wolves' Den) :D

And now it's time for some loooooore!!

During the events of Shadowbringers, while he was getting more and more corrupted by the Light, Matheli's connection to the Abyss was getting weaker. At the end, it gets completely severed, and with it he is left unable to perform any abilities that require the power of the Abyss (and, for example, sword strikes that are more destructive with the help of the Abyss, become just regular sword strikes). For a while he tries to reconnect, but without success. So he has to adapt - he's no longer the one rushing into a fight first and is less focused on defense (that's fully Thancred's task now), but instead he tries to adapt his fighting style to maximize the damage. And for that he becomes a regular at the Wolves' Den, very often in company of Jia, who eagerly assists him in his training. This goes on during the msq of Shadowbringers patches (after the Scions return to the Source) until Nina let's him know about an offer made by a lady from Sharlayan (when he ends up trying his hand in the new way to protect those he cares about - the art of Sage).

I got a friend watching Beyond Belief, I'm watching Highlander with her husband while rewatching Buffy by myself, another friend is watching Murder she Wrote and another is watching X-Files and yet another is watching Star Trek: Voyager. Everyone I know is watching shit from or that started or aired in the 90's. No matter who's house I go to it's 90's time. Are we nostalgic or did TV peak?
