favorite childhood book: hmmm tough question, i read a lot as a kid but my memory is so bad so i dont remember a lot of names of the books i read! i read a whole lot of the redwall series, and i really liked this one version of romeo and juliet that took place in the mid 00s and had romiette and julio, a black girl and a hispanic guy. they live at the end lmao, it's all good, i just remember thinking all the characters in it were so charming. oh, and also really liked "from the mixed up files of mrs. basil e frankweiler"! i remember reading that whole thing in one sitting back in like fourth grade or something

Currently reading: Nothing because currently all of my books are packed up while I slowly rearrange my room (it's definitely taking me time because I keep having to do other things while trying to tackle this lol) but I do know the first thing I'll be reading once that's all finished, which will be The Hobbit, followed by the LOTR trilogy because that's a yearly reread for me and I haven't done it so far this year.

Currently watching: Granny square tutorials on youtube. Half to learn new things and half for ideas for bags to make. (I have plans for a Rooster one, a mushroom one and a bat one. The bat one I'm hoping to start this coming week so I can have to done before Halloween!)

Currently craving: My monthly troubles have started, so pretty much anything sweet, spicy, salty and savory I'm craving right now lol

Coffee or Tea: Coffee, coffee, coffee! Though I do love a sweet tea during the hot days of summer.

Hobby To Try: Knitting and charm making, for like either bracelets or like, stitch markers.

 Last Song: Dethrone the Darkness by Red Moon Architect (criminally underrated Finnish doom metal band).

Last Movie: Pirates of the Caribbean with my flatmates. Yes, I did point out that having a movie set in that time period and not making a statement on slavery and colonialism is in itself a statement and that romanticised depictions of pirates (and history in general) help to further obfuscate the role oppressed people played in it. (I wasn’t that eloquent though, just rambled about Black Sails a bit.)

Currently Reading: The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt. Basically because I have read The Secret History so many times that I felt kind of bad for never even trying another book by the same author. It’s not as good though

Currently Watching: I May Destroy You (on BBC). It deals with sexual assault and is quite heavy but so so good, I would absolutely recommend it. It had me lying awake at night questioning what I thought I understood about the topic. The characters really come to life and feel like real people after just the first episodes, and it was written by a black woman, Micaela Cole, based on her own experiences. Also Parks and Rec with my flatmate which is painfully straight but very light and enjoyable.

Currently Craving: Human contact in general, especially hugging someone.
