For the most stunning act of bravery, class, integrity, and speaking truth to power that has graced the USA in far too long.

Not a single shake in her voice as she spoke directly to one of the most vengeful, spiteful, and (unfortunately) powerful people on the planet, while also receiving glares of hate and outrage from the despicable VP and his wife.

It's not the first time she's stood up for what is right in defiance of trump's actions, but while many may speak out on it, there have been scarcely any with the backbone to follow through on the opportunity to do it to his face, and especially on live television. She had her moment, and she didn't waste it.

May she be the inspiration we all take forward with us into the turbulent times ahead.

every time the wardens do something fucked up i like them even more. this isn't about any game specifically but all of them. i fucking love the knockoff night's watch, i love that they guzzle nasty ichorous darkspawn blood that you'll die from 1) now or 2) in thirty years and how they don't tell their recruits until it's too late and the damage is done. i love their secrets and corruption and their heroism in the face of primordial darkness. i love warden leaders and warden recruits trying their best and the infighting that inevitably happens when they disagree.

i keep thinking to myself, god we have got to put tim drake in a time loop. but also time loops just feel so perfectly like speedster bullshit, yknow? therefore lemme just smash these thoughts together like particles at cern aaannddd--

let's put tim in a time loop that bart accidentally caused. a tim loop, if you will :) specifically, tim loop where kon dies at the end and bart just kind of subconsciously went nope! and "if anyone can fix it it's tim right?" bc bart has. a normal amount of faith in his friends but also a normal amount of feelings about himself being useless to save kon bc he couldn't in infinite crisis.

and bam suddenly tim is having the worst tuesday of his life like 20 times in a row. yippee! it's bart-powered but he doesn't even know. he did it on accident. bart in the loop doesn't know what's going on. it just resets every time the ending is something bart can't accept (kon dies again). tim tries to sacrifice himself to save kon once but somehow that doesn't break the loop either (bart refuses to accept that). how long can tim go through a time loop before he goes completely bonkers bananas insane? only tim(e) will tell.

and, worse: how many times can tim watch kon die? how many times can he beg kon to value his own life, to get it through his head that being a hero doesn't mean he needs to die for the world, that there must be another way? how many times can he watch kon sacrifice himself to save others and know that if he stops kon, those people might die?

how fucked up would he be if he ever actually found out just how suicidal kon has been his entire life?

extra fun: cassie takes one look at him every time and instantly clocks that he's feeling like shit, but every time she forgets why, because the loop resets. tim is being perceived but it never lasts. this will drive him crazy so fast. he's gonna start acting out and snapping at her for being concerned because what's the POINT of talking about his feelings if everything resets ANYWAY. this will definitely not come back to bite him in the end or anything, right?

I love how full of shit Kyoko is. How she tries to appear selfish and cool and unbothered but is so kind and actually desperately wants to believe in people and in goodness again. "Oh yeah, I live for myself and think fighting for justice is naive haha" girl what are you talking about. The two people who help define your arc have hero complexes. And you sacrificed so much for both of them. You became a magical girl for one of them and died for the other. Your soul gem is placed on your chest, where your heart is. If this was a normal teenage drama you would be that kid who tries desperately to act edgy but feeds puppies and kittens after school.

Okay, getting a better look at what the invitation from the intro of Luigi's Mansion 3 actually said, I have a few thoughts.

I can't believe King Boo pulled the whole "Congratulations! You won a contest you don't remember entering! This is not a scam" shtick a second time, and it worked again.

The invitation tells Luigi to bring any friends or family they like, no limitation to the number. That is so... so diabolical. They really said "whoever Luigi likes enough to bring with him on vacation gets put in portrait-limbo for eternity." They wanted to make sure Luigi inadvertently hand-picked the people who suffered for his defiance. I can't even begin with how messed up that is.

The fact that Luigi brought Princess Peach is??? So cute??? The fact that Luigi was like "hey! I won a luxury vacation in a contest I don't remember entering. I'm allowed to bring as many guests as I want. You want in?" and Princess Peach– with all her royal obligations and responsibilities– responded with "I'll get my luggage and some toads! We'll take the royal bus" is soo adorable. They are friends your honor.

I like that throughout the locked tomb books, Palamedes is sort of venerated as a genius and tends to be displayed in the most protagonistic light among pretty much all the characters. Gideon sees him as a kind but dangerously intelligent and capable figure, as someone who knows what he's doing (until he explodes) and has all the answers, and so we kind of start to see him that way too. Harrow has seen him as an equal to some degree, more well rounded than her and perhaps not so excellent as she in bone magic but a genius nonetheless and an ally to boot. Further, Harrow sees him as extraordinarily capable when she realizes he's managed to hang on after death and she does seem to display some reverence towards him, in contrast to her miserable life he seems like he has things figured out and like he has solutions (even though he's dead).

But then Nona meets him. And she just sees him as a sort of silly and goofy idiot boy who is kind to her but probably has no idea what he's doing. And she constantly overhears and intrudes on him and so she knows he's kind of flying by the seat of his pants. She doesn't like him for his genius, or even see him that way (intelligence doesn't really matter to her), she likes him for his element of chaos in an otherwise stringent household and because he makes Camilla happy in a way she doesn't quite understand. Nona very much does not see Palamedes as a heroic of protagonistic figure, and I think that's very funny because everyone else saw him that way because he seemed so capable relative to themselves--but Nona is simultaneously extremely less and incredibly more competent than him and doesn't even consider their capacities comparable on either end.
