Can't believe Tom. Cruise. of all people is making me hooked on god-tier, soul-consuming Old Man Yaoi.

I had a mini TC marathon back in 2017 when I watched Edge of Tomorrow and Oblivion on the same weekend. And I knew he was the dad in War of the Worlds and the white savior in The Last Samurai (both of which I must've watched before 2010). I knew who He was, but he wasn't the type of actor I usually get obsessed with. (At this point I've been obsessed with the likes of Cillian Murphy and DDL)

TC's most memorable role for me has always been Lestat and Lestat only (I watched IWTV 1994 for the first time circa 2011). More recently (2019-ish), I couldn't stand his ass in Eyes Wide Shut.

Cut to December 2024, it all changed with Vincent from Collateral. Best movie assassin I've ever seen. One of the best movies I've ever watched too. Because of Vincent, I end up watching Top Gun and Mission: Impossible. Which was the beginning of my undoing.
