Zoro will never end up like Rayleigh, you know why? Because he'll die with Luffy.

Not that Rayleigh loved Roger less than Zoro loves his captain, but Zoro would literally lose his dream without Luffy. His dream is to be the King of the Pirates' swordsman, the best in the world. Without Luffy it's not gonna work. Even in the anime it's shown (REPEATEDLY) that he wants to be Luffy's strongest swordsman in the world. Before meeting him, sure, it was a shared dream with Kuina and it would've worked alone. Now tho? No way, he has to be by Luffy's side.

If Luffy dies before him, he'll definitely follow him to the afterlife or wander aimlessly without purpose and a will to live.

Thinking about the fact that in s1ep6 when Barry burns Rafe's arm, poor baby probably had to bandage himself up all by himself. It just makes me so sad for no reason because Rafe's always alone and he literally has zero support system. And, his hands were shaking when he attempted to steal from his dad's office and when Ward catches him, he doesn't even look concerned or notice the burnt arm of his son??? Something about that just makes me so mad and sad like wtf. Rafe needs a big hug, man. I soo wanna be his stress reliever, his balm that calms him and more. I am literally not normal about this man. Crazy that one of Jimmy's first thoughts about rations after the crash is keeping Curly alive so he stays fresh in case things get dire. No one else brings it up, they barely mention Curly outside of the crash or his medicine actually.

He's a non factor to them now which is also a little heartbreaking considering how much he did care (even if his judgements were off) about them. It really shows the subtle ways that the game and the world they are in attach value to what you can do and can't do. He's no longer Captain or even Curly, just an after thought, a bad after taste. Yet, Jimmy still sees him as something worse.

It's the fact that to Jimmy, Curly was always someone meant to service and prolong his life. Even in pain and agony, all the thought he can give Curly is his use to him to the extent he is willing to consume him physically to get all he can out of him and of him.

#like he doesn't even try to hide the idea hes having nor make Curly hurt less when he chops off his legs like he probably was expecting him #to die and something snapped or he felt just a little more guilt when he realized he didn't like i think its important that Curly's screams #were barely audible as it showed how he wasn't really hearing or seeing Curly as human until he was in such a horrid and probably clingly t #life state after the feast and being fed his own leg like yeah hes still doing it selfishly but he realizes that he cant keep taking like I #dont think Jimmy would genuinely care but if Curly had a breakdown hed try to mitigate it just so Curly can still do things for him #mouthwashing #mouthwashing game #curly mouthwashing #jimmy mouthwashing #captain curly
