It's always "aros can still date!" "aros can still be in (any type of non-romantic or romantic) relationships!" "aros aren't heartless!" "aros can still love in different ways!"

Well, sure, you do you.

But not all of us. A lot of us are *completely* non-partnering. There's loveless aros. Aplatonic aros. Hell, even heartless is a label some aros use!

We don’t need to do anything to "replace" the romantic relationships we don’t have. People can be completely happy alone! Without a partner! (Shocking, I know!)

I'm just a bit tired of all the amatonormativity I still see under some of the trending aro-positivity posts...

#kingdom hearts #kh1 #sora #neoshadow #heartless #my gif #when you enter this room there's a chance that you can encounter a group of neoshadows #they work together and coordinate their attacks #as you start taking them out they'll change up their attack patterns when only two remain #one of them will repeatedly appear from the shadows to grab onto sora's leg and hold him in place #this action doesn't cause damage to sora but it does prevent him from attacking or jumping. you have to wait it out #this prompts the second neoshadow to quickly hurtle itself toward sora using a rush attack after he escapes its grasp

kh1 is the best kh game because it lets you go Creature Mode

#kingdom hearts #kh #sora #heartless #friend shaped #kh1 #video #bbs is my actual fave game but in terms of Creature Mode it comes in second even though it has the illusion commands #this took longer than i thought it would to edit but anything for The Creature #i spent 10 straight minutes doing this and i made a save before the riku-ansem fight so i could do it again #(also i recommend audio but i will reblog with an audio/video description when i can after this is scheduled to post)

Some other aspecs: "Don't you mean romance?" "Here's books about platonic love!" "Reminder that romance=/=love! Aros can still love!" "I think you should switch "love" for "romance" there, OP! :)"

And:

AlloAros/AroAllos/other non-ace aros: "I wish there was some representation for us anywhere :/"

Some aspecs: "Here's ten-thousand characters that I headcanon as AroAce!" "I think all characters should be AroAce :)" "You should read these AroAce/Ace books!"

Maybe, just maybe, learn to listen to people different from you, and stop making everything about yourself. I know there's also very little AroAce/Ace representation, but that doesn't mean you can make every post about non-ace aros about yourself.

Especially when you come onto post by people who have even less than you. You can make lists of AroAce characters, while I can't even think of one canonically AlloAro character who wasn't only confirmed via word of god (and yes, I'm counting my boy Vargo into that, I love him and it was obvious for me what the authors were intending, but overall his aromanticism is completely ignored by almost everyone who read the books because it "wasn't obvious enough in the text"), and even those who were only confirmed via word of god I can barely think of any besides Vargo who actually show that in any meaningful kind of way in the text, while I know multiple canonically AroAce characters.

And loveless characters literally don't exist outside of villains who don't feel love because they're evil, and are evil because they don't feel love.
